If you’re looking for an outstanding dining experience in Little Rock, look no further than The Spot SoMa. This Black-owned gem in the heart of the SoMa district offers a five-star experience from start to finish. The owner personally greeted us, took time to serve us and even let us sample different dishes—talk about hospitality! The vibe? Impeccable. Great music, an inviting atmosphere, and an energy that makes you feel part of something special. Every bite of food was flavorful and memorable—no filler, just thoughtful dishes made with care. Even better, the owner showed up in the mix, making sure everything was perfect and that we felt truly welcomed. If you want to support a local business, immerse yourself in a warm, intentional dining setting, and savor food that lives up to the hype—The Spot SoMa is the place. Highly recommend it for brunch, lunch, or any time you’re ready for something genuinely special.

The service was great, atmosphere was calm and the food was amazing! My family and I visited this place for brunch and everyone enjoyed their meal ( thats rare)! I ordered The Jules waffle with tenders (see photo) the waffle wasn’t dry, the cookie butter I LOVED!!!!! I also ordered the October cocktail of the month for breast cancer it was also good. For a family of 3 we spent $70 with 2 adult drinks. Also the parking wasn’t bad we parked across the street..My family and I will most definitely be returning!

We stopped in visiting before departing for our 4 hour drive home to Texas - the amount of flavor in this waffle, chef’s kiss! The chat we had before departing, we loved how personable this place is. Telling my Arkansas friends about it and I’ll be back when visiting.

I ran across this little place while exploring the downtown area and decided to take someone with as soon as possible ! The service was exceptional. Very friendly staff and manager . The atmosphere was cool ! We sat next to a huge window that allowed us to look out at traffic and walkers by as we dined . Let’s get to the good part ! The food and drinks were good . I ordered the Classic waffle with eggs over easy . Someone decided on mango mimosas lol , and the manager really talked us into getting a “better deal” by ordering the bottle so it would have an unlimited sort of feel … he said it was cheaper to do … but if you’re looking for cheap this isn’t your place . Be ready to have a little change . The crawfish boudin eggrolls were my favorite - and get this … I’m not a boudin fan … I’ve had it several ways and several times and it’s not my cup of tea . This was good . The sauce was Thai chili which was perfect . I’m a little sad they didn’t tell me I had a choice of sauces because looking at their menu online today I see there are several choices . I liked this little place . The only criticism I have is that the mango for the mango mimosa is not enough at all and it’s literally just some mango juice which I guess is to be expected … it’s a bit pricey for the small amount of juice . You end up drinking mostly champagne- well they do - whoever indulges lol … It’s definitely a do over !

The Spot is a new restaurant housed in formerly Press Waffle not apart of the new ownership. The Spot with similar menu options has its own spin on brunch which I myself was happy to sample first hand. I enjoyed the tomato basil soup with grilled cheese and a berry salad. The soup stood well alone but with the grilled cheese it was transported to the next level- great comfort food. The salad is large with blueberries and strawberries, also candied pecans which my friend could not stop stealing from my plate. You will also see a slider which my friend paired with the Mac and cheese is said 10/10. You can enjoy your meal with the mimosas which did the trick but be prepared to stay awhile between the food and drinks you may get lazy so grab a board game which is available just inquire with staff and let your food and drinks digest. Clean restrooms and great staff, I’d definitely recommend. Do forget to checkout the outside dining area the atmosphere here was great for friends or networking. I did forget the coffee bar station just go check it out yourself. Worth it.

Great brunch option! Glad I visited earlier before the crowd thickened, decent seating and lovely ambiance. Mimosa flight was my least favorite But I absolutely loved the BLT made with fried green tomatoes Also tried the Cristo waffle which was well balanced sweet saltiness Would recommend and definitely return to try other menu options

Yelp
I ordered the SoMa Slam with lemon curd and whipped cream added for extra charges. The description states that the syrup would be on the side (for good reason). I expected the lemon curd and whipped cream to be literally on the side, too, in a separate container just like the syrup. I got no whipped cream and the lemon curd was poured on the waffle. So, I got lemon curd eggs, lemon curd tots, and lemon curd bacon. No thanks! I called and spoke with Jessica (recorded call). She told me that I didn't order whipped cream (a lie; I have the ticket) and that if I had been a proper customer, I would have known to order the lemon curd on the side. It begs the question. The side of what? The eggs? The bacon? The tots? Very poor customer service.

Yelp
The sliders and the lemon pepper wings were delicious. Oh love the seasoned fries. Mimosa flight a nice treat. Fun atmosphere with ok service. Might try again!
