The Springs Review - Greenpoint - New York - The Infatuation

"If you want to have an outdoor group hang in Greenpoint, but you don’t want to deal with the massive crowds at Brooklyn Barge or Northern Territory, try The Springs. We aren’t saying it won’t be crowded - but it shouldn’t be as crowded. The huge backyard with trees and couches makes up most of the bar and is Palm Springs-themed, which is just a little bit cheesy. On the bright side, they allow dogs in their backyard, and you probably have at least one friend who will appreciate how photogenic this place is. photo credit: Noah Devereaux" - Bryan Kim

What is the deal with the landscaping at The Springs shopping center? I've not seen a shopping center that looks as bad. The dead plant material and horrible tree pruning is an eye sore. You would think with all the new tenants they would invest in the look of the place

dont go into ROSS... its hot hot hot inside the store..being in palm springs u would think they would have it nice and cool inside for their customers to have a good shopping experience....we walked in, shopped for about 10 min and had to leave.. ..very disappointing because we were from outta town and we needed to buy some things....so we left and went next door to BURLINGTON where we spent a good amount of money on some items...ROSS lost our buisness due to the store being so uncomfortably warm where we couldnt shop any longer...maybe they will up the air so that customers can shop without sweating and feeling unbearable because of how warm it was in that store....BURLINGTON was cool and comfortable there fore they received our buisness...

Home Depot is always a place to go. I was staying with some friends and they needed a new garbage disposal so I popped in grabbed the garbage disposal and fix her garbage disposal with no issues. Home Depot is always a great supplier of good HomeGoods.

I love this shopping area, it’s got everything you need! The parking lot is pretty decent, and finding a spot is never a hassle. No matter which store you’re headed to, parking is a breeze!

This Plaza Center is adding a lot more shops, which I appreciate. It's sad seeing all the buildings set empty and I like that they're starting to fill up

Home Depot used to be my #1 place to go . . . Until my first Paint Dept hassle....I stood at the paint dep counter for 1/2 hour. Kept asking the older man at the dest . . .he would not recognize me as a customer, but helped others...this happened everytime I went in (had to get my paint at an independent store. Then I tried one last time, same lack of attention, I finally asked if I was standing at the wrong end of the service desk . . No response. Others came up to counter AND he started helping them...I raised my voice and the other customers asked if i'd been waiting &I said yes, but the sales staff member always ignored me. He finally asked what I wanted & I gave him a list (regular paint for my walls in my condo. He looked at it & said I don't do that, you'll have to have the lady over there (directly across from him) Guess what . . SHE Yhad nothing to do with paint or paint dept. This poorly mannered man has turned away a great deal of paint sales from me over several years. I love Behr paint but will never allow myself to be ignored by Home Depot again. Maybe he doesn't like working with women or just older women, I don't know, but i've painted a lot of homes, condos, etc. Don't know what this grumpy man's problem is...Don't know why he still works there.
