The Latest Restaurant Openings to Know in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"An ice cream shop and candy bar located at the Southern Feed Store in East Atlanta Village known for classic and playful flavors — think pecan pralines and cream, espresso, and cotton candy (plus actual cotton candy). The shop is also known for spun milkshakes in flavors like mint chocolate chip, banana pudding and mango, and offers ice cream served in a root beer float." - Henna Bakshi

Let me say upon approaching Michael was outstanding. I was given the choices for diary free options and he took the time to take care of me and my guest and the others who waited in lines with us all with a phenomenally positive attitude. The atmosphere was great plenty of sitting and a parking lot in the back. Will definitely return here since I was treated like I mattered.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Sweet Experience Thanks to Ryan & Michael! Stopped into The Spun Cow Creamery with my dad during my bachelor party weekend, and I got the peach cobbler and banana pudding Ice cream, and I have to say—Ryan and Michael made the experience unforgettable. I walked in having no clue what I wanted, but Ryan was incredibly patient and let me sample a few flavors until I found the perfect one. He was warm, welcoming, and still managed to stay attentive to other customers while helping me—a true professional in multitasking with a smile. Michael was equally kind and personable, and both of them created an environment that felt friendly, laid-back, and just downright fun. The cherry on top? I mentioned I’d happily pay for extra graham cracker crumbles (because let’s be real, they’re THAT good), and Ryan surprised me by hooking it up on the house. He didn’t have to do that, but it made me feel truly special and celebrated. If you’re ever in the area, do not miss a chance to visit The Spun Cow—and if you’re lucky enough to be helped by Ryan and Michael, prepare for a next-level customer service experience

10/10 experience! Had a sweet tooth around 2 A.M. this morning and the staff was so kind and helpful with suggestions. I ended up getting a strawberry cheesecake and banana pudding smoothie. Will def be back!

For a late-night ice cream craving (they’re open until 4 AM on Fridays and Saturdays), this spot is a must. The ice cream flavors are great, and they let you sample before choosing. They also have unique cotton candy flavors, and the brownie Sundae with vanilla ice cream is a standout. The service is excellent too —Katelyn did a great job. Highly recommend for weekend late-night dessert runs!

🍦 The Spun Cow at EAV Food Hall – Ice Cream Worthy of a Galactic Treat 🌌 Venturing into the EAV Food Hall felt like stepping into a hub of flavor, but The Spun Cow was the true star of the night. Their ice cream is nothing short of fantastic—rich, creamy, and brimming with flavor. I went with a double scoop: Georgia Peach and Strawberry Cheesecake. The serving? Gigantic—easily enough to satisfy even the hungriest traveler. Each bite was smooth and indulgent, the peach bursting with summer sweetness, the cheesecake loaded with that perfect swirl of tang and fruit. The staff made the journey even better—friendly, welcoming, and happy to let me sample flavors before making my pick. That little extra kindness made the whole experience feel warm and inviting. ✨ Highlights Gigantic servings (definitely come hungry) Creamy, rich flavors with true-to-name taste Plenty of fun options—from classics to creative twists Friendly staff who encourage tasting before choosing If you’re exploring East Atlanta and crave something sweet, The Spun Cow is a must. Just be ready—the portions are as generous as a Jedi’s patience. 🍨

Absolute amazing ice cream and environment. I was thrown off with the location but its inside a building with others restaurants. Was a vibe. Lady who helped us had an amazing voice and was beyond excellent with her customer service. Would highly recommend

I stopped by the food hall to pick up a pizza and decided to give our three girls a little Sunday treat! The server was attentive, and helpful. I ordered a trio of strawberry shortcake, cookie dough, Cookie Monster. I ordered gooey cheesecake. Ice cream was smooth, creamy, and delicious!

Yelp
They don't blend their floats and the ice cream is waaayyy too hard to mix in w the cream soda- props on using Jamaican cream soda though. Ice cream itself was good but very overpriced

Yelp
Best ice cream in the city, hands down. The seasonal flavors are always creative and tasty! Get here!

Yelp
Ice cream was awful...felt bad after having 3 samples...hoping one would get better. Ordered single two cones for $19. For tasteless, old ice cream. Yuck.
