Where to Eat Ice Cream in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Ice cream shop and candy bar, Spun Cow Creamery, has recently opened at the Southern Feed Store in East Atlanta Village and has already attained a fan base. Look for ice cream flavors like pecan pralines and cream, espresso, and cotton candy — alongside actual cotton candy. Spun Cow is also known for its spun milkshakes with flavors like mint chocolate chip, banana puddings, and mango. You can also get your ice cream in a root beer float. There are additional locations in Dallas and Birmingham." - Eater Staff

Quick, easy and friendly service. Even with a line of 10 people in front of us, it did not take long at all for us to get our ice cream. The seating area is reserved for only customers and there are multiple security guards keeping the area safe. Highly recommended if you're in the downtown Dallas area

It was a cute spot but the service not so great. My daughter ordered a cup with crushed cone. The girl gave her a cone and told her she could crush it herself. I wasn't able to get two flavors with one scoop.

I feel so bad for you lactose intolerant folks (though they do have sherbet options) that you’re missing out on some super tasty ice creams. The banana pudding flavor sounds like it would be eww, but it was the bomb. As was the Romeo & Juliet, which is white chocolate ice cream with a raspberry ribbon and chocolate chunks. Yes, please! And they have milkshakes and they make their own cotton candy. So cool.

Look. I don’t know anything except that I ordered soft serve. It was melty immediately and had no structure. The ice cream flavor wasn’t fully mixed in. The people were fine but not overly helpful. I may have gotten them at a bad time, but I do expect more from a $9 (WHUT) ice cream. The white stripes you see in the photo aren’t a reflection, the ice cream looked like that.

Great cookie monster ice cream! This spot always smells amazing when walking into the food hall. The waffle cones are tasty, and you can also take ice cream to go. This is a great place to be during the summer heat and compliments the rest of the exchange hall.

I absolutely adore mariah!! she fits the ice cream place so well! She was patient with me while I tried all the flavors I was curious about and was so nice! I appreciated it so much! We need more workers like her. I will be coming back!

Delicious ice cream with plenty of flavors and even 9 flavors of soft serve. Wide list of mix-ins. Only challenge on the weekend is the line was long with only 2 people working.

You know what they say? Everything is bigger in Texas. Well, a scoop in Spun Cow is actually two scoops. My first time here, so I made a mistake of ordering two scoops thinking a portion comparable to Ben and Jerry's. When the server piled on my "two scoops", I was a bit afraid and knew I couldn't finish it. But, couldn't stop eating despite having difficulty breathing from being full. Banana pudding and birthday cake were absolute heaven. Ben and Jerry could only wish they used to make 🍨 this good. If you are from out of town like I was, don't miss this ice cream shop.
