Where to Celebrate Oktoberfest Around D.C. | Eater DC

"Rockville Town Center brings back “Rocktobierfest” on Saturday, September 30, with beer, food, and Bavarian, rock, and pop music across two stages. Buy beer from a number of local breweries like 7 Locks, Crooked Crab, Denizens, and Landmade, to name a few. An artisan area is also available for guests to browse and shop. The annual event draws upwards of 5,000 people to the town center (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.)." - Tierney Plumb

Rockville Town Square is a popular destination for restaurants, shopping, visiting the library, attending local festivals, meeting people, and walks around the square. There are many choices and it is easy ro find something for everyone. The first two hours of parking in the ramps is free without needing validation. If you're in the area, it is worth the visit!

The Square has been revitalized on the N. Washington Street side, with beautiful new murals and a Trader Joe's where Dawson Market used to be.

I have always enjoyed strolling this area! There are variety of restaurants that you can choose from. May it be you're craving for matcha or some croissants or boba it's all here! They actually have a stage where they have performers and during that time i visited there was a reggae band playing!! I just love the relaxing vibe here!!

Parking garages now charge $3 after 90 minutes vs previously $1 after 2 hours. Inconvenient if you're a member of the Gold's Gym and now have to pay attention to the clock to get your workout done under 90 minutes. No, I'm not cheap. Yes, I'm not cool with paying an extra $3 to go to the gym where I'm already paying for monthly membership dues. Aside from the parking situation, the area in general is very nice and the new murals are very beautiful.

Low 80's and a light breeze, today was a good day. Stopped for some ube cake and matcha Boba drinks. Walked around, nice and clean, and lots of people hanging out in the plaza. Nice to relax and people watch (or street photography) or shop, and eat at the many restaurants.

A lot of great stores nearby! I loved the Trader Joe’s and my kids loved the water fountain. Also I love there is a library nearby too.

A friendly and warm place to visit. Very often, they perform different artistic activities. It is ideal for spending time with your family.
