Nestled in Midtown East, The Stag's Head is a cozy, bi-level pub known for its impressive lineup of craft brews and tasty pub grub, perfect for post-work unwinding or catching a game with friends.
"The Stag’s Head is a good place to grab an IPA or sour in the area. Their beer list goes beyond the typical roster of Ballast Point taps, so if you’re into deep cuts of craft beer, you’ll be happy here. You can watch a game on one of their TVs, and if it's nice out, have a drink on their outdoor patio on the second floor." - bryan kim, molly fitzpatrick, will hartman, sonal shah, tiffany yannetta
"Stag’s Head looks like it’s going to be a bro scene, largely due to its Turtle Bay location. But it’s really more of a beer scene. Stag’s Head excels at going beyond the typical roster of Ballast Point taps, so if you’re into deep cuts of craft beer, you’ll be happy here." - katherine lewin, hillary reinsberg

"When: Weekdays, 11am-7pm The Deal: $6 Select Beer; $8 Select Wine; $7 Well Drinks The Stag’s Head is a pub on the East Side where you can hang out with friends and watch sports. There is, in fact, a stag's head on the wall, and this spot is still fun even after Happy Hour ends. If the weather's nice, drink on the back patio." - Bryan Kim, Kenny Yang, Will Hartman
"If all the sports bars and Irish pubs in Midtown East closed for a day, walking around would make you feel a little like Will Smith in I Am Legend (just without the zombies). One place that would still be serving drinks, though, is The Stag’s Head. It has a good number of flat screens, and they even put the volume on for certain games, but it’s much more of a beer bar than a sports bar. They have 16 rotating beers on tap, mostly from small breweries in the Northeast, and all of them are $5 or $6 during Happy Hour. There’s also a nice backyard that’s one of the better spots for a casual outdoor drink in Midtown." - matt tervooren
