The Best New Year’s Eve Restaurants in NYC | Eater NY

"This Union Square gathering spot has surprisingly good Northern Italian food, as well as comedy shows. A $95 menu begins with a Champagne toast and bumps of caviar, and offers such dishes as truffle pizza, bone marrow pie, salmon steak, prime rib and roasted duck. Shows throughout the night range from $50 to $75, and there are comedians at the bar as well." - Eater Staff

New York Comedy Club The Stand Opens a Restaurant From Per Se Alum - Eater NY

"New York’s reopening of the Stand aims for a lofty goal: to be a comedy club with food that doesn’t suck. For this ambition, the new Union Square location of the club has brought on Harold Villarosa, a chef who previously worked at Per Se as well as Denmark’s acclaimed Noma, for an American restaurant above the comedy club. The menu at the Stand features a raw bar with oysters, clams, and crab claws, as well as other simple starters like charcuterie and a blue crab hummus. Pizzas cooked in a brick oven include a white pie with clams and a rotating seasonal pie. For mains, there are rotisserie meats, including a lamb leg and a half or whole chicken as well as a half or whole duck. The restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, seats 140 and features velvet banquettes. The comedy club portion is located beneath the restaurant and will offer a tightened version of the food menu. Cocktails come from Christian Orlando, who previously worked at Seamstress and Henry at the Life Hotel." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya

I visited The Stand NyC for a comedy show on a Saturday night. Our show was downstairs. Intimated space with a full bar. You can order drinks before the show, very fast service and the bartenders are so attentive & friendly. I was genuinely impressed with The Stand. Not only the performances were great. The venue is beautiful, trendy and good vibes.

Best comedy place ever!!! The atmosphere was very sophisticated and chill. The comedians were hilarious. We even saw famous ones! Ones that had Netflix specials. Everyone was funny. I was really worried that it would be a hole in the wall but it wasn't. It was in a beautiful side of town and a beautiful building.

Google
The comedians were solid, happy hour before was a great price, my only regret was getting a pizza with no cheese but I guess I should have taken the menu literally! Otherwise amazing evening and really enjoyed the atmosphere and everyone was super nice!

I visited The Stand on Super Bowl night for a comedy show, and despite the sparse crowd, the experience exceeded expectations. With only a quarter of the room filled, we anticipated an awkward atmosphere and a tough night for the comedians. However, I was genuinely impressed by their ability to connect with the audience, making us feel welcomed rather than uncomfortable. It takes real talent to make a small crowd laugh wholeheartedly, and they pulled it off effortlessly. Beyond the comedy, The Stand itself is a fantastic venue—beautifully designed, well-lit, and inviting. The drinks were delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff was particularly attentive, constantly checking in to ensure patrons were comfortable and never letting a glass go empty. Their thoughtfulness truly enhanced the experience, making the night feel special despite the low turnout. All in all, it was a great time, and I’ll definitely be returning for more comedy, great drinks, and delicious food. Highly recommend!

Google
This amazing restaurant features fresh hand made pasta and a wood fire pizza oven. They also have amazing fine dining options including steaks and fish. Oh yea. There is also a comedy club too. 😆 you don’t have to come for either of the two stages and nightly shows. The food, atmosphere and service are worth the short walk from union square.

Yelp
Second time going and the vibes were just as good! The food was BUSSIN 5/5 and it practically felt like they were giving away the mimosas. I definitely suggest you starting with a Prosecco and then going mimosa heavy (our second pitcher was a little weaker). The service was great as well, very attentive the whole time.

Yelp
We only went there for desert before going to a show. The service people were really nice and let us sit in the normal dinner area even though we only ate desert. This also gave us a priority when entering the show. The show was in the smaller room and was really good.

Yelp
Parking: garages nearby or street if you dare in Manhattan Staff: very friendly and attentive Decor: stylish, will be making reservations for next year shortly. Food: amazing, steak so well seasoned! Pizzas were so good we got an extra one to go. Price: very good even for being in Gotham.

Yelp
We came here with visiting friends from the Netherlands. This resto-comedy bar is tucked in the Union Square neighborhood. This place is spacious and exudes openness; even on a busy Sunday brunch, the place doesn't look crowded. For our group of 5, we all each got a main entree and bottomless mimosa. Our food came right on time, and the staff were around when we needed something. Our glasses were always filled. I enjoyed my fried chicken with waffles; it was delicious and filling. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes. This place is good for having a celebration or entertaining guests or simply craving a Sunday brunch.

Yelp
The stand was definitely a vibe. Came here for a comedy show and laughing was definitely on the menu. The service here is amazing the host was super friendly and accommodating. The drinks were very well made. I didn't get to try the food but from the looks of everyone's plate it looked delightful. They specialize in brick oven fresh pizza which I must try. The comedy show was 10/10. Big in size with an upstairs and back room. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Yelp
Comedy show was not bad it was about $20, which is on the cheaper side. Plus side was that there was no drink minimum. The service/staff were decent as well. Good ambiance in the club, had dim lighting and was spacious. Comedy room was clean and nice. Wouldn't hurt to give it a shot if you're in the area.

Yelp
*this review is for the comedy show which takes place in the basement* I think this is the first comedy club I've been to where the basement design is clean and contemporary unlike the other sticky and grungy looking comedy spots. The cocktails were amazing. I ordered the Green Room which consisted of gin and elderflower. It was super refreshing and I had a couple during the duration of the comedy show. The show was lively, the staff were out servicing guests, and the comedians were hilarious. I told hubby we need to come back here for a future comedy show.

Yelp
I have brought multiple friends here and am ALWAYS satisfied with everything. I usually visit during brunch (my favorite meal of the day!!) and I get the chicken and waffles most times. It's probably my favorite thing on the menu. I love how attentive the staff is and their recommendations are always amazing, I truly feel so welcome and never a burden even if I ask lots of questions. The brunch mimosas WILL kill you (ask me how I know) but the vibes are so much fun. Not a bad thing to say about them!! I will say that I always ask for no pickled veggies with my chicken and waffles because I'm not a fan of them oops! It's never been a problem either :) I look forward to every visit here

Yelp
I've been here twice for shows. The first time was during the pandemic, and the show was out front on the sidewalk, as were the dining tables. That time we got the menu which is shown online, and I wasn't crazy about it. I also don't even remember what I ordered but I remember not liking it. I'm picky though, so not a reflection of the restaurant necessarily. I just went again recently to a main room show, and decided to order food when I saw that it was a totally different (pub style) menu which included a basket of hand cut fries and popcorn chicken. I got both of those and both were awesome!

Yelp
4.5 stars When my friend suggested The Stand for a celebratory comedy show for another member of our crew's birthday, I was intrigued. I enjoy stand-up, but I had never heard of the place. Well, first off, the main bar and dining area up front were stunning! Everything was sleek and modern, and it really felt like a new hotspot, which was a stark contrast to most casual, dingy clubs. We waited in that lounge area before we were taken into another nice room for the show. I should also mention that the entire place was kept at the optimal temperature; it was super hot and humid outside, but, indoors, it was cool without being freezing. While the cocktail list was the same in both rooms, the food menu was shortened in the comedy space. However, our server let us know that we would be able to order from the expanded menu (the one shown on their website) if we so desired. From a drink perspective, I adored their One Liner spicy margarita, which combined both Doña Vega mezcal and Superbird tequila with Italicus bergamot, cucumber, jalapeño, and fresh lime. It was just the perfect amount of spicy, while still offering a robust amount of refreshment. When it came to the cuisine, I decided to order two smaller plates, rather than one large course. The Meatballs were made from a trio of beef, pork, and veal, leading to a lighter flavor than if they had been pure beef. The generous portion of 4 or 5 balls was sitting in a hearty marinara sauce that had been infused with Calabrian chiles, scoops of creamy ricotta, and Parmesan. The Crispy Crispy Brussel Sprouts were seasoned with lemon zest and herbs. Despite the fact that they were not really in season, the sprouts were clearly fresh and definitely delicious. These were also served in abundance. The excellent food and drinks were just bonuses, though. The comedy was also hilarious! The show lasted about 90 minutes, and all of the comedians were engrossing. They were skilled at balancing their audience engagement with tales from their own lives. The Stand really fired on all cylinders; the place offered a lot and executed all of it well.

Yelp
I am still a bit confused about what the bar area is aiming at, but the overall experience was good. If you're there for the comedy show, you're greeted by the host and they direct you to the bar before the seating starts. I truly do not understand why people would go here for food unless they're going to the comedy show, as the food menu is fairly pricy and seems aimed at people about to see a show. However, those people around us who got pizzas or apps made us a bit jealous and these did look fairly tasty. The bar itself can get pretty busy and the service was a bit sub-optimal, but if you finally get someone to serve you then you're set until the show. Once the show starts, there is a waitress dedicated to those patrons who was super easy to track down for more drinks, should you want them. The drink menu seems extensive but in review actually seemed a bit limited. Wine is probably your best bet in terms of cost and options. We had a great time with the show itself. 1.5 hour performance and 5 comics. The seating is super intimate so be prepared to be asked questions and be called out during the show, which definitely added to the experience. The bathroom seems difficult to access from the bar area until you realize that there is a separate bathroom near the showroom that has much less of a line.

Yelp
Very nice club and atmosphere but the drinks are outrageously priced, lol. $62 for a double vodka/soda and a lemondrop martini... never in my life have I ever seen something like that. Pretty antithetical to the "stand-up" atmosphere but, maybe this is normal for NYC bars.

Yelp
Let me start out by saying, this is a wonderful date night location. Very esthetically pleasing, service was great from the hostess to the servers. Drinks were great, the food is where I felt it lacked. All is plated nicely, but it fell short in the flavor department. Comedy show was great, really enjoyed the show and it was very affordable! I would come back for the cocktails and show for sure.

Yelp
The Stand is my go-to venue for comedy shows! You'll find a pretty bar and restaurant upstairs and the basement stage area below. There's full-service food and drinks throughout the show, which is nice and the food is actually good too! As with any comedy show, choose when you go based on the comedians, because that will dictate your experience!

Yelp
Great comedy show. Fun thing to do while in town visiting or a date night out. Comedians were entertaining - it was a line up of about 5 of them. Full service food and bar during the show. Service was excellent. Food was alright. Don't sit in the front unless you want to be included in the show! Haha

Yelp
A good restaurant near union square for classic America fare with a large bar and tons of friendly staff for a guaranteed good time. During happy hour the space gets hectic busy and if there's a show happening the space will get a bit crowded before it clears for the show. Overall a good spot for a meal and drinks. Also probably good for a show if the comedian is well known'

Yelp
The best comedy club in nyc hands down (and it's not even close). I've been here on both on weekends and on weeknights and the energy is great. I've only been to shows on the main stage and they have really great acts who have performed on TV and in other high profile venues. Even the audience members can be pretty elite. There was a former MLB star at the last show I went to. He got pulled on stage to participate. He was a good sport about it. One thing I like is that the show is very interactive. Of course, you don't have to participate if you don't want to, but it does make it more fun (just be prepared to get roasted). Another thing I like is that you can order drinks and food to your table during the show. There's a full service restaurant and the food is actually very good. I recommend grabbing dinner before the show. The Stand also doesn't have a drink minimum that I'm aware of, which a lot of places do have. The tickets are pretty reasonably priced and most shows run about 2 hours. The shows are always reliably funny. It's not a hit or miss. You will be cracking up guaranteed. Leave your political correctness at the door. If you're one who's easily offended, this might not be your place.

Yelp
I went here to see my friend Gylije (Julie with a G) perform - she's hilarious if you want to peep her on YouTube! It was my first time at The Stand and I was impressed that they accomplished to create a comedy club with food that's no joke. I have to make a special shout-out to the "Baked New Yorker" dessert which includes brownie, cheesecake, Italian meringue, and ice cream. It was truly divine. The location has an upstairs and basement stage area below. We were in the basement, which was clean, and had full-service food/drinks during the show (a smaller version of the upstairs menu, so theoretically it would also make sense to have dinner upstairs before heading downstairs to the club). It's a true comedy club-restaurant hybrid, and as it's located in Union Square, is considered the heartbeat of NYC by many people. Open 7 nights a week, bi-level venue, overall great lineups/comics, great dessert, not cramped, hosts multiple stand-up showcases and podcast recordings nightly, and quite organized. Fun fact: this club's owners, Patrick Milligan and brothers Chris and Paul Italia, recently bought an old Staten Island ferryboat with Pete Davidson and Colin Jost from SNL to turn it into their next comedy destination. Can't wait to see how that turns out!

Yelp
A great room for comedy, that's for sure. Always have lots of talent coming through. Good vibes always, ya!!

Yelp
Finally got my booty down to the new location on East 16th and i couldnt be more pleased. First off, i drove into the city, and parking was available within a few feet of the venue. Thankfully, since i got here around 7 - street parking is free after 7. SCORE. When the weather is nice, the front doors are open to the bar and you can sit inside but still enjoy the outside. They also have outdoor seating. Theres a small room upstairs for shows and a medium sized room downstairs. The dining room upstairs is large too with a large wrap around bar. I grabbed an 8 PM show downstairs, and no matter where you sit, your seats & sounds are great. Small, but mighty menu. Pizza to oysters to desserts. A lot is made in house and prices are okay, nothing too expensive, but not cheap either. Tickets for my show were about $25, and you did not have to grab a 2 item minimum. Had so much fun and cant wait to be back - great comics are always, anyone from locals to legendary names.

Yelp
Was in the area for a concert and wanted dinner nearby. This restaurant is gorgeous! I love how deeply low the lighting is. The restaurant is very clean and the staff were kind. Eli was our server, and he was great. Very kind and attentive. We ordered a ceasar salad. It was good. I just wish it had a bit more dressing. The croutons were really good! Also ordered the Stand strip & Frites. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly! The French fries were so good, too, and they served a sauce that was so tasty. Love this spot will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Yelp
the comedy was amazing but the flavor of the food was definitely super mid and also quite pricey for the portions

Yelp
When my sister told me that her and her BF got tickets for us to go to a comedy show, I was like "oh, cool." I've been to a few stand up comedy shows in my lifetime (The Improv in Irvine and Brea, the Comedy Store in LA, etc) so I was looking forward to it. When we arrived at the location, all I remember seeing was a huge wall of amber and bottle sat the bar... okay? Where is the comedy stage? Lo and behold, you go downstairs and it's a whole other venue down there! Ambiance was intimate but still big enough that it can hold a solid crowd. Full table service is provided and the servers are on top of it! The show was awesome... all of the comedians were solid and the host (shout out to JC Mendoza!) killed it!! I can't recommend this place enough to anyone finding themselves in NYC and looking for a fun night out!

Heather E.

Yelp
I have been here a few times and it's a good time. Good date idea and great way to enjoy some reliable comedy in a nice atmosphere. They have food and drinks and fun/cool staff. Do try and order drinks before the show starts as service slows a bit to reduce distractions. They sometimes have a diverse slate of comedians although shows can at times still be pretty concentrated which can result in a very concentrated audience and can leave one wanting for more diversity. I go back often enough.

Yelp
I visited The Stand for bottomless brunch and had a lovely experience! 2 entrees plus bottomless mimosas and/or bloody mary's for $39 is a steal! We got the chicken and waffles which were delicious and the mimosas were fresh and balanced. Patrick, our server, was absolutely lovely and so attentive every step of the way!! The ambience was classy as always and the music was great. I was surprised it wasn't more full, as it's the perfect bottomless brunch spot for the best price. PLEASE NOTE: An automatic gratuity of $20~ was added to our meal automatically which I understood. However, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of transparency there, as it was advertised as $39 all included (without tip, and we were already planning on adding a generous one... but maybe not like 50% generous haha!). This was the only part I wasn't thrilled about. Noting the above, I'd recommend you check this place out!

Yelp
Visited the stand for a friend's birthday. Was thinking pizza and drinks. Came in with a reservation and waited 30 minutes to get a table (what is the point of a reservation if we need to wait). The drinks were alright. Once the pizzas came out it started going downhill. The white truffle pizza was extremely oily. The pizza got soggy. Cheese came separated from the dough. It was a miss. The margarita pizza was better but nothing groundbreakingly delicious. Overall, not the best dining experience. Green room: $17 Alba white truffle pizza: $24 The d.o.c. margarita pizza: $20 Sweet spicy pepperoni: $24

Yelp
Had Brunch at The Stand Comedy club and had a really good time. The bottomless Mimosas were great as well as the food. We arrived close to 3pm and it was a pretty calm vibe, the music selection was a plus. Highly recommend. Will be back.

Yelp
First of all, I made a reservation through OpenTable and the brunch manager called me to tell me that their last seating was before my reservation. I had told her that I called earlier to find out when their last seating was and that's why I put it when I did. My boyfriend closes his shop at 2:00 in Westfield, NJ and we wouldn't be able to get there any sooner than 3:30. She informed me that we wouldn't be able to take full advantage of the bottomless brunch but they'd work with us. When we get there we get there. She was very sweet and concerned. He ended up closing the shop earlier but we still due to the train schedule arrived to the restaurant at a little after 3:00. The brunch manager greeted us and she knew exactly who we were. We were using the Pulsd brunch voucher which she scanned right away. Our waitress came over and explained the brunch and took our drink orders. We ordered bloody Mary's and before we even got them the manager came over with 2 mimosas and a carafe of mimosas. I wasn't even thinking about the bloody Mary's and accepted the Mimosas. Our serve came over to take our food order and to drop our bloody Mary's. Bottomless brunch has begun. LOL. We both ordered the double stack burger and shared an order of fries. Thank goodness because the order was large. Everything we ordered was very good. The burgers were juicy and the fries were hit and seasoned just right. The special sauce was great for dipping as well. Between the server and the manager being so accommodating everything was great. We will definitely be back. The manager even came over and gave us comp tickets to the comedy club to come back. What a great place.

Yelp
I found a bottomless brunch deal for 2 on Pulsd for $39 at the Strand and it was so worth it. We chose bottomless mimosas which was a great move. I thought the ratio of orange juice to prosecco was perfect. The waitress left a bottle for us at the table so we didn't need to flag her down every time we wanted a refill. She gave us a second bottle after we were both incredibly tipsy, then told us we had time for a third when she brought us the check. We didn't take her up on bottle #3 because I wasn't planning on falling asleep on the subway but it just makes this a great deal (coupon or not!). Moving on to our entrees, we ordered the eggs benedict and the orange ricotta pancakes. The eggs benedict was fine. Eh. It wasn't very flavorful and the potatoes were certainly boiled but didn't seem to spend much time on the pan. Very soft, which I don't love. Meanwhile the pancakes were some of the best I've ever had. I would give a kidney to have the recipe. They were incredibly fluffy yet crispy on the outside. I wish I could make pancakes like this!! Though, I didn't find them tasting like ricotta nor orange. My feedback is that instead of whipped cream, a nice whipped ricotta spread with orange zest would go a long way plus a little slice of orange garnish. I'll also say that I am firmly against pancakes that come with syrup already poured. I think it's a better practice to put it in a small pourable container on the side so people can pour to their liking. The top pancake was great but the bottom was missing the syrup. Overall, the bottomless deal was totally worth it and the food was great. The music was excellent (R&B and Afrobeats mix) though it was pretty quiet. The place livened up closer to 12:30. We had a reservation for 11:15 but when we got in the manager and waiter were both running late so we waited to be seen until 11:30. Could be a one time thing, but it's not a great look for sunday brunch! Anyways, I need this pancake recipe!!

Yelp
Definitely a great date spot. Came on a Thursday night at 10, arrived early as instructed and thankfully we did since it got pretty crowded shortly after 9:45 ... you get the best of both world..didn't get to eat but gazed over the food menu and based on the selection and ambiance alone I'd go back to try the food. The comedy show alone was great! The comedies had versatility, engaged with the crowd and knew how to keep us locked in...no awkward moments, all positive hilarious vibes. Little disappointed Ian Lana didn't show up, which that was the only reason we purchased the tickets..don't know what happen there....but over all, how the night turned out...we had a blast. Almost a 2 hour show for $20? Don't think about it twice, go! Lol worth it. Drinks are an average of $17-$20 .. very delicious and our waitress was on point and always spoke with a pleasant smile which we appreciated. Over all, great evening. First time but won't be our last.

Yelp
First comedy club experience, check! Make sure to come early to try to get the seats closer to the stage, although the workers do select for you. I noticed they had to move this smaller group to the back for a bigger one, which is a fat "how dare you" on the customer service part. Nonetheless, the staff were very professional and swiftly moved between tables throughout the night to accomodate everyone's requests. Their pizze seems to be very solid from the several times my friend had them before. We ordered the Pancetta ($23) and it was wonderfully delicious and aromatic! The pancetta in combination with the plentiful arugula and mozzarella just goes hand in hand! Sadly, the pizza was served simply warm and only came with 6 small pieces. The Red Light ($16) cocktail, keyword "light", was like drinking a candy soda. It was really sweet and fruity, that I didn't notice the vodka in it at all. I would go ahead and say you're better off drinking a Mountain Dew and still relish that same taste. For my first comedy club, The Stand did a fantastic job in offering a well balanced and diverse range of comedians, with different story topics to have you laugh at at least something. There were moments the comedian laughed more at their own joke than the audience, awks. But with a great audience and good company, I'd highly recommend this for a fun date night idea!

Love coming here for their brunch. The chicken and waffles are to die for and the staff are SUPER attentive. Great spot off of 14th st.

Yelp
Comedians: we went there to see Aaron Berg, but we got tickets in the wrong room, and they would not accommodate us to see him in the "patio" -- I did not even ask for money back or anything like that, I just wish they would have attempted to squeeze us in there. So, this main show that we did not want to see in the room downstairs: we could not hear the names of the comedians at all so, aside Judah Friedlander (who did a whole set wearing a mask), we had no idea what the comedians' names were. Unfortunately, the level of talent was low (they all pretty much SUCKED) aside the penultimate comedian, a woman, whose name, again, we could not catch (unfortunately, 'cos we'd love to see her show again). The guy at the end of the show had one brilliant line about Trump's near-miss. That was it. The rest of the show sounded like people with average lives who did not even attempt to put a witty spin on it. One of the comedians, whose wife was a nurse, reprimanded someone in the audience for talking to each other during his show by making a joke that was not funny "I am doing to you what you did to me when you decided to talk during my show." WTF?! If the audience is not paying attention, perhaps it is because your jokes suck. That couple left the show early. I would have done the same had I not been there with a friend who was visiting the city. I have attended several comedy shows in NYC, and they are not all hilarious, but this was particularly low quality. And I did not get to see Aaron Berg who is the comedian that is usually worth seeing, and the one that we wanted to see in the first place. Food: terrible fries. Never again.

Deena Marie S.

Yelp
My favorite all in one place for a full night of entertainment. The drinks and food are all impeccable. The shows are always a hit. I especially love the outdoor patio shows, where the comedians crowd work passerbys... the true ambience of New York City.

Yelp
Review of the bottomless brunch. Came here via the Pulsd deal with a group of friends and was had a great experience. Attentive wait staff brought us plenty of mimosas. Friends who ordered bloody marys found them too salty, but switched to mimosas with the rest of us. And the food was pretty good, considering the deal. Not rushing back, but a great option for a larger group brunch, since it was pretty much empty on a Saturday afternoon.

I used to come here regularly, but the quality of the comedians they book has really gone downhill and the shows are not worth the money anymore. The past several shows I've been to had about 5 comedians each, and almost none of them had prepared material. Most relied heavily on crowd work, and some were basically reading off notebooks for their set. Even when they did do prepared material it felt like it wasn't well rehearsed and that they were phoning-it-in. I understand if a comedian is testing out new material it might not be dialed-in yet, but there's a difference between reading from a notebook because you're trying out a new set, and reading from a notebook because you're just not prepared. The difference is obvious to any comedy fan. To be clear, I was not offended by any of the shows...I just think the comedians they book now are mediocre at best. The only reason I give two stars instead of 1 is because the food and drinks there are actually really good. Go to The Comedy Cellar instead. Even though it's more expensive, it's actually worth the money!

Yelp
If you stand for bigotry go see Derek Gaines at The Stand. Had the worst experience there last night. We were dealing with being charged twice for drinks at the table, and the "comedian" Derek Gains got upset we could possibly have a bill issue, and decided to stop the show and make an example of us. He shouted homophobic comments at us from the stage, and the Stand's management, instead of coming to our rescue, ejected us for heckling because we responded. He continued shouting at us even as we were leaving. I'm sure he thought he was funny, but no one was laughing. I would recommend going anywhere else.

Yelp
Came in for brunch. Thought there'd be some live jazz since it was a Sunday but there was none. Semi crowded but not super noisy. Service was good but could've been better considering it was a bottomless brunch and we had to wait a while to get the waitress' attention to get our drinks refilled. Pizza was nice, Tartar was ok and could be skipped. Had the eggs Benedict too- eh. Feel like we should've gotten the burger instead.

Yelp
For me the best comedy club in NYC. The set up and the biggest comics all of it was an incredible experience. The drinks were awesome and the food wasnt bar food it was like legit meals. Overall the best comedy club in NYC easily.

Yelp
My friend had a voucher from pulsd so we came here on a nice Sunday morning, made reservations in advance for bottomless brunch. The voucher was $39 for 2 people and you can pick an entree up to $21 in value. You also have to pay tip for the entire meal. The bottomless is 90 min and you can pick between mimosa or bloody mary. They have outside or inside seating. The drinks were free flowing, our server kept bringing mimosas without anyone saying anything! He is the real MVP. For my entree I got the Eggs Benedict (they ran out of lox so they gave me Canadian bacon). It also came with some hash browns (it was't a big portion but it was enough for me). My friends got the pizza (it was thin) and fried chicken waffles; they enjoyed their food as well! I would come back to this place and use a voucher again, service is amazing, and ambiance is great! Located right near the Union Square Stop.

Yelp
I went to the show on a Friday at 8.30pm which was outside. Wasn't funny at all. A bunch of sexual and gay jokes I can't relate to... None of the comedians where funny sadly

Yelp
Came all the way from MS for a show. They didn't list the tickets on the website until a week before and they immediately sold out. The staff had no clue how their website worked and insisted I had to get tickets from another company. They didn't release the tickets after the show started and instead let people who showed up 20 minutes late in. Overpriced for the quality, but that's also just NYC.

Yelp
My friend and I came here to try the restaurant week menu. This is a really interesting place because the dining room is separated from comedy club by a wall. The food itself was pretty good. Surprisingly good for a comedy club. I had multiple servers come ask me if I was here for the comedy show after I sat in the dining section.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I went last week, and it was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one! TL:DR -- Definitely coming back for the drinks and laughs (shoutout to Sean Millea for almost making me piss my pants)! First off, the drinks--10/10. I enjoy whiskey (not an expert by any means), but I never enjoyed whiskey cocktails. They were either too sweet, or the flavors clashed. That is until I came here. Every drink I've had (particularly the Kiss of Jade and the Frozen Creamsicle) were so good, and worthy of their price tag. You could actually taste the whiskey, and enjoy the flavors. Nowadays, a nice drink that tastes good, but doesn't cost an arm and a leg is rare. Second, the comedy show--9/10. I'm not a big standup fan, but the group of comedians I watched were super fun. Reason why for -1 is the male comedians at times felt repetitive in their joke or delivery (ex. two male comedians back-to-back pointed at the same white dude and said, "you look racist") However, the one who did stand out to me was Sean Millea. He popped up on my feed a few times on YouTube, but watching his act in person was hilarious. He gets you hooked with a very random nonsequiter, but finishes strong with a hilarious punchline. Glad I managed to talk to him after the show, super nice guy. Definitely would recommend anybody in the city who's looking for great drinks and/or a good laugh!

Yelp
I wasn't expecting much when I saw that it's a comedy club but I gave it a try anyway. They have great food and great wait staff! I got the bacon egg and cheese pizza and it was so delicious - exactly what I needed that morning. All of the pizzas on the menu looked delicious but I was craving eggs and this pizza unexpectedly hit the spot! My friends got the breakfast platter and it looked delicious but I still think their pizzas are the way to go! We also got bottomless and the drinking were always flowing, which is exactly what I'm looking for in a bottomless brunch spot. In terms of precautions, the space is pretty large and the tables were spaced far enough apart indoors. Overall, our waitress and the food made my experience here wonderful.
