The Standard at Pizitz Food Hall

Visiting from Texas, and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and patient. Food was cooked to order and served hot and quick! The lobby is communal with other restaurants; a clean and warm ambiance. CRISPY TATER TOTS!!!

Simple, clean, and pretty fast for all the business they got today! The people at the desk are kind and understanding :) I would definitely come again if I wasn’t out of state lol, check it out ^^

You guys! The service was impeccable and the food was super fresh. I don't like pimento cheese and it was amazing on this sandwich. I got the patty melt, first time having one, and it was so hot and fresh and seasoned. The tots were so seasoned and perfectly crunchy. Grand burger place.

I was within walking distance and found this place on Google Maps. I was pleasantly surprised how good the burgers were. We will definitely return if we are back in the area.

The veggie burgers was really good! I ordered mine without cheese and a side of tots. The bun tasted sort of sweet which was good. I was super hungry before coming and couldn't even finish the tots because it was so much! The service was good. The cashier really helped me with my ordered, he was patient and kind. Next time I'm back in Birmingham, this will be my goto spot.

Sooooo...The standard is a burger joint inside the Pizitz Food Hall. I've read reviews about how GREAT the burgers are! Sooo... I am a die hard "yippee ki‑yay" Culver's burger fan! 🤪 After trying this double bacon cheese burger, man I got to say they are running 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️neck to neck. 🤣🤣 The reviews are true! I didn't add cole slaw to my burger, but will for sure try it on my next visit! The picture doesn't do the taste any justice! 😋 Dip into The Standard and try the double bacon cheese burger. It's a hidden gem. Seriously, 👍👍👍!

Great burger with a toasted buttery bun. The fries are a shoestring type that are fried hard. The Standard is located inside the Pizitz food hall right next door to Warby Parker. A double stack topped with a fried egg will run you right at 10.00. This may be expensive compared to McDonalds but comparable to a sit down place like Johnny Rockets. The thing is that this burger is way better.

Today I visited The Standard for lunch. My order was simple-a plain cheeseburger and fries. I was number 18 and about 15 minutes after ordering it was number 17 that was called. Then 19,20,21,22. I brought it to the staffs’ attention that I was skipped. The cashier rang up my order again. There was a grill full of hamburgers being cooked. And my ticket was put last in line even after being skipped! Common sense would be to take one of the burgers and correct the problem immediately. The cashier said “they don’t understand me” when referring to the line cooks. That’s a load of bs… A few hours later I call the number on my receipt to complain. Someone answered and he did not identify himself. He half heartedly apologized and offered a refund. When I accepted the offer he either hung up on me or the line disconnected. Funny, because I called back like 7 times after and he never picked back up or called back. Unprofessional both at the restaurant location AND whoever is in charge with of the phone.
