COVID-19: 13 Montreal Cafés That Are Still Open for Business | Eater Montreal
"Only the St-Viateur location of the Standard is currently open, with roasts from Propeller, Pilot and more available in bulk, or in your choice of espresso drinks." - Tim Forster
It’s a very small cafe with minimalist aesthetic and great coffee.
The employee was very friendly and seemed passionate about coffee and it showed through the espresso that I got.
They weren’t playing any music but it actually helped me focus on my book while enjoying my coffee. Feel free to come and check it out if you’re in the area!

Full of mouses and rats. This place is disgusting. Need a health inspector visit asap, I’ve seen mouses crawl into coffee cups. Nobody come here please.

Popped in on a trip and had the best latte ever! The music was a little loud for casual conversation in the space, but the server was friendly, efficient and skilled! 10/10, would go to again. Delicious coffee. Lots of dairy substitute options. 😄

I came to this place expecting a third wave quality coffee. Sadly, it was not my experience
The barista looked burnt out and didn’t seem to enjoy the coffee making process. I ordered flat whites and as you can tell from the picture, the milk was not steamed right at all. It was scolding hot with a soapy looking milk froth that lacked the creamy velvety texture. And then the barista had the audacity to serve it to me. The coffee tasted burnt and over extracted with very undesirable bitterness with overwhelming body
What’s the point of having fancy machinery (with the Kees van der Westen espresso machine) with sub-bar operating man power.
Really disappointed!

Love the aesthetic of this cafe! Such a great place to study or get a coffee with a friend. I got a matcha latte (not pictured) - I wasn’t a fan, the stevia was strong and the drink was a bit overpriced. Nonetheless, I would recommend this place though if you’re looking for a nice quiet cafe.

My partner and I had a very brief and unfortunate experience here. We walked in and asked a simple question about the menu (whether they had cold brew) and the person at the front cash was extremely rude and laughed, and even looked at the other staff member or friend beside him who also laughed. Then my partner just asked to clarify and he rolled his eyes and gestured to the menu again, and laughed agi . No wonder it was empty 🥲 We just left without buying anything and they laughed at us on the way out.

Beautiful little fishbowl coffee shop. Excellent coffee selection and experienced baristas. I met the owner once and he bought me the coffee - nice man. Prices can be a bit steep and seating can be limited. My favourite place to grab a coffee before the bus.

I had heard about Cat Cafes, but never about Mouse Cafes! Such a cute idea!
