"While getting acquainted with the extensive menu, but be sure to order this beloved bar’s namesake cocktail (Jim Beam rye, Cocchi di Torino, Benedictine, root beer bitters and citrus oils). Google
Cool bar for happy hour I love that they allow reservations via OpenTable. Service was great, drinks were good. During the summer they close in their patio and with fans and some AC it's comfortable but still a little bit warm. Only downside is it was super super loud. Spent the afternoon yelling at my friend just to have a conversation. Recommend going on off peak times.

Google
Friendly staff decent food of. Moderate price. 40+min for takeout of 2 chicken tenders at a absolutely not busy time is ridiculous. Other orders being served then an excuse that makes zero sense and that basically blames poor shift management and incompetence. I guess they at least admit they screwed up regardless of how lame the excuse is. Everything else is fine.

Google
Brunch here is super delicious and the mimosas are great! The chicken and waffles have a different flavor than any place I’ve had them, but the cinnamon buns were heavenly!

Lionel Castro

Google
First time here with friends and we enjoyed everything. Food, drinks and atmosphere was great! The manager COLUMBUS would pass by and check on us to make sure we’re enjoying everything. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Google
Good food, get the chicken tenders. They are the size of a dinosaur. The drinks were good, little pricey, but that's Dallas. Waitress was slightly testy because I asked about allocated Bourbon pricing that WAS NOT ON THE LIST, but overall quaint, yet sporty. Lots of bourbon to choose from

Rishi G

Google
Brunch was absolutely immaculate. I highly recommend the jalapeño poppers. The cinnamon buns were to die for. All of our party enjoyed their mimosas too. Hard to imagine there’s a place far better than here in Dallas. 9.3/10

Google
I wasn’t feeling the food but the drinks were amazing! It gets extremely busy so make reservations! You will not get in without them. They offer parking with a lot at $25. It’s right next to the restaurant. I plan to dine in again but I’d probably get food somewhere else and just come for drinks!

Used to love coming here when I lived in Uptown, but after our brunch experience will not be returning. We ordered entrees, champagne, and other drinks for the table. Took literally an hour for our food to arrive, with no check-ins from our server. When we finally flagged her down to ask about food, we were met with a snappy “it’s on its way”….No apologies about our wait. My food was lukewarm, and my friend’s food was not cooked properly (overcooked).

Yelp
me and my girlfriend came here late at night for some food. We tried the pretzel and it had way too much salt 0/10 disgusting, tooooooo salty... We also tried the lobster ravioli, which was one of the best fucking raviolis I have ever had to date. I don't think it gets any better than that. 10/10 I also ordered the bacon burger, which was pretty solid. It didn't taste like it was made on the grill. It tasted like it was made on the stove, but it was still pretty good. They cooked it very well. 10/10 amazing service , and it looked pretty nice inside great atmosphere. I forgot to mention, we tried the bread pudding and it was spectacular. 10/10 Thank you. -Santangelo Balli Gonzales

Yelp
Usually have really solid happy hour deals. On weekend nights or major game nights you usually need a reservation because the tables book out quick. Food: solid for bar food, amazing for a late night bar session to wrap up the night Drinks: Not what they used to be quality wise

Jessika S.

Yelp
I use to go here all the time specially since it's so close to my apartments. The last time I went I had an horrible experience so I probably will NOT go back. The bartender only asked me for my card and all the other white customers he never asked, not knowing I live in one of the most luxury and expensive high-rises in uptown. Usually my apartment complex has events there, and I absolutely told them about my experience. I just don't feel comfortable going back!

Yelp
A staple Uptown bar; my favorite cocktail (and their specialty) is the mule, but you can't go wrong with anything off their cocktail menu. Their late-night menu comes in clutch when barhopping- they serve food until 2 am. The chicken tenders are the best thing on the menu- a huge portion of the juiciest chicken strips you will ever have with a crispy exterior and secret sauce for dipping. Service here is always quick, I've never made a reservation but you can typically snag a seat at the bar or a table. Large outdoor covered patio that gives you a good view of people watching the consistent late-night Uptown foot traffic. Plenty of seating inside, and a covered bar. It's always a good vibe here with good music and plenty of people.

Jaquita L.

Yelp
Came in on St Pattys Day and weee seated immediately. Liked the ambiance of the place and that they offer outdoor seating. Chicken tenders (spicy): 7/10 while the portion size was huge, these were not spicy at all. Steak frites: 6.5/10 steak wasn't cooked as requested but enjoyed the French fries. Beef tenderloin sandwich: 7/10 flavor was good but wish the meat was cooked medium well. I asked for that but it was more red than I would've preferred. Enjoyed the fries and the bbq sauce.

Eddie I.

Yelp
Always a solid choice for a great craft cocktail, good food, and quick service! Great music in the air every time I've been there! Servers and bartenders are always happy friendly!

michael h.

Yelp
Came here for the bourbon and it is a decent selection. Not as good as Smoky Rose. Also ordered a Shiner Bock and a burger. The beer was not cold. The burger beef was cooked to correct temp but the bun was stale and broke apart. Fries were good. Dining room was overly loud, like it was a college bar. I spent a lot of money here and got a so-so experience. I would pass it up if I were you. If you want to enjoy your whiskey try another spot.

Yelp
Location Uptown, North of Dallas, near American Airlines Arena. It is on McKinney Street-if you take the trolley-it stops nearby. Parking The parking is tight-street. We parked about 3-4 blocks away but it was a busy time of day. There is a lot beside it but it is a private pay lot. Service AMAZINGLY attentive and friendly. Seating Bar, inside, outside. Do make a reservation. Atmosphere Historic bar. Energetic vibe. TV's scattered-then all of a sudden the game was projected onto a wall-nice!! Menu They are famous for their mule cocktails. Many served. We had the old fashioned and a wine. Both were good. The caesar salad with the grilled chicken was excellent! They split it for us without an uncharge and the parmesan was fresh and generous. Not very salty, which was nice-tasted very fresh. Summary Uptown meet up busy establishment-loved the vibe, service, beverage selection, and food. We are new to Dallas, so this place will be a regular spot. LOVED IT!!

Terrance G.

Yelp
Came here with a buddy that was from out of town. I had never tried this spot but was recommended by a friend and boy was it a great recommendation. we were immediately greeted when we sat down at the bar and recommended to try one of their multiple old fashioned they had available. For dinner we both got the chicken tenders, they are huge and filling and most importantly, delicious. It is a large place great for parties or dates and offers various types of seating from standard chairs to couches dependent on where you are in the restaurant.

Zerenity W.

Yelp
We came across The Standard Pour after visiting Parliament. It included a late night menu with low couch seats (not my preferred type if eating but great for chilling). Food: I didn't want to eat too heavy so I had the spinach dip which was pretty delicious! My friend had the burger and fries and said he enjoyed it. Service: I wish I remembered her name but she was EXCELLENT! Honestly the best service I have had in awhile. She checked on us continuously to confirm everything was good and we never went without our drinks not being filled! Overall: I recommend! Would love to come back and try their brunch!

Janai M.

Yelp
I think it safe to classify The Standard Pour as an essential restaurant of Dallas lol. It is very consistent with good food and good drinks.

Bojan P.

Yelp
Came here for a around midnight being really hungry. They luckily had a late night menu. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich. It was really large and delicious. Would recommend it. The bill for 2 sandwiches and 2 beers came to $51 with tax and tip.

Alyscia S.

Yelp
LOUD. Group of 5 and I couldn't hear the people on the other side of the table. I would not go back on Thursday-Saturday but I would try it when it would hopefully be slower. There was TV's/music at a loud volume and crowds by the bar and it was way too overstimulating. We really enjoyed our food though so I would like to redo the experience. The apps were super great and the chicken strips are a seriously big serving so share! We got the spicy strips which were good but they are heavily seasoned. Cocktails were also good and had cute presentation.

J. B.

Yelp
Absolutely blown away by this place and it certainly beat my expectations. First off, the place is bumping '00s hip hop, and its super loud and dark inside, which is right in my wheelhouse. The brown liquor offerings are expansive. But the food was really what rounded out the overall experience. Sure, the menu is very approachable, and there is nothing unique about it, but everything was simply delicious. Some of the highlights were the nachos and their chicken strips. The sauces offered to pair were housemade and amazing.

Jessie C.

Yelp
Came here for a late dinner and even though it was packed they got me and my friend seated. Service was pretty attentive. The place was dim and loud so it'd be good for a date night or small friend gathering versus a huge party where it'd be hard to hear everyone. The food was solid!! On the bigger portion size- my buffalo sandwich was somewhat overflowing with the sauce amount. It was really good with the right amount of kick, but if there was slightly less sauce I think the dish would be improved. Overall a solid place- would come back to try the happy hour menu!!

Makenzie S.

Yelp
Food was delicious, spinach and artichoke dip in the bread bowl was the highlight. Great mimosa deal for brunch!

Chijioke N.

Yelp
Okay this place is great. Their lobster Mac and cheese is CRAZY good. I normally come for the happy hour and good vibes so great food is a plus as well. The service is normally pretty good too, I've had no complaints... however I did try the salad yesterday and it was a bit less than par... but overall I'll definitely be back

Mindy L.

Yelp
it's a good drinking spot but I would not recommend eating there. It can get pretty crowded during traditional drinking times which is fine but service will be a little lacking during that time.

Amanda H.

Yelp
OMG! Absolutely delicious! We ordered some cucumber chiltons, the jalapeño poppers, the "Standard", eggs Benedict, and chicken and waffles. We were not disappointed by any of it and the portions were so huge that you can easily share. I wish I had taken pictures, but we devoured everything. All of the people who served us were very polite and friendly, though service was a bit on the slower side. We recommend making reservations. Ambiance wise, I loved the vibe!

Teyah S.

Yelp
After seeing great reviews, my gf and I decided to have late lunch here. I made reservations for 3:30 via Open Table and were promptly greeted by a friendly hostess upon entrance. The weather was perfect so we decided to sit out in the patio. A couple of minutes later we were poured water and our waitress Isabella came by to say hello and take our order. We started with the mozzarella sticks, a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a Mikey Sears. The mozzarella sticks were fresh, tasty and huge! Honestly, had we eaten all the sticks we would have been too full to eat anything else! For lunch, my gf ordered the famous chicken strips and fries. I ordered the Turkey Ruebenish which was a nice spin on a classic turkey Rueben. Instead of sauerkraut they used kimchi. It was delish and a great recommendation by our waitress Isabella! This is a solid place and we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I recently visited, what I know will be my neighborhood bar, for the first time last weekend. The bar was was extensive, the food was delicious and the service was the best I experienced in Dallas thus far. We were greeted with a complimentary waffle that was so good, I had to force myself to stop eating it or I wouldn't have had room for the rest of my food. Tina made me an amazing French 75 and Sal made an Espresso martini that tasted so amazing, my companion had a second one. They were both also super helpful in giving suggestions on how to navigate the area as I'm new to the city. All in all, I can definitely see them putting my picture on a wall one day, because I plan to be a fixture there lol

Melanie M.

Yelp
Cute spot for drinks and brunch! The Texas Peach Smash is delicious! Fast and friendly service. Brunch is $15-20 per person and drinks are $10-14. Definitely recommend! Fun at night time as well too. Located right in beautiful oak grove neighborhood, great to pop in for a pint while walking around.

Yuki I.

Yelp
DID YOU KNOW that The Standard Pour has happy hour all day on Mondays?? No wonder why when we pulled up on a Monday night, the place was absolutely packed!! We went down the street to another bar before returning here for some more drinks and a few bites! I got the rose 75 (townes vodka, lemon, raspberry, sparkling rose) and rosemary paloma (casamigos silver tequila, rio star grapefruit, squirt, rosemary), along with bruschetta (tomatoes, kalamata olives, goat cheese, red onions, parmesan, balsamic reduction). The bruschetta were full of flavor, but I felt they were a bit too heavy on the balsamic reduction. But definitely fulfilled that late night craving! My friend had the bourbon bbq burger - I didn't have any, but he loved it, and it looked really good too! Very casual bar atmosphere, and our bartender was super friendly, even though I'm sure he was a bit stressed with how busy it was! I would definitely come back - this is a great hangout spot!

Marq W.

Yelp
To start things off, I want to explain why this place even earned 2 stars. I will say, there was decent service, as the bartenders were more than helpful and skilled when it came to a good drink. The ambiance was solid for the 2 nights I have attended. However, issuse at hand still BLOWS my mind. Whoever is in the kitchen, should be fired immediately. The first time I came this establishment, I was unfortunately surprised to find that the chicken tender that I had been recommended and was so excited to try.... Was RAW! Two bites in, and it was revealed that my chicken was raw!! The texture almost made me puke on the spot. Now the bartender apologized, and comped me a round for the troubles however... on my second visit, thinking I would be able to finally try the tender for once... I discovered that yet again, the chicken was raw! This is not only a serious health hazard, but the fact that it's happened twice in a row is immensely concerning. I got sick for a week after this and I will never order food from this place again, but for a drink or two, why not. Please fire the kitchen staff responsible for raw chicken. Thank you

Leandro R.

Yelp
The food is great, it's such a nice vibe late at night if you're looking for a place to drink with your friends.

Lindsey E.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and it's always been great! Tonight we came in and I think they revamped their menu because it was even better than usual! The mozzarella sticks grew 2 inches in girth lol. The Mac n cheese is richer than ever, and the TSP burger is just as amazing but I'm pretty sure they now added bacon! Pro tip: order the $50 or $100 giant Moscow Mule! $50 is half bottle of vodka, $100 if a FULL bottle of vodka!.. your welcome. They also added a disco ball, great for the vibes!!

Kasey E.

Yelp
Amazing fried mozzarella sticks slow but awesome and friendly service Great music, dimly lit. Great for any vibe.

Hannah S.

Yelp
Everything about this place is a 10 out of 10 I highly recommend it. It's dim lit, so if you're looking for something more relaxing with great food. This is a spot to stop at! The customer service I received, some of the best service I had in a while!!!

Emily C.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour after work and the prices and vibe are great! Service was fast and when the receipt came back wrong, they fixed it quickly with no fuss. Will definitely be coming back!

LaShunda F.

Yelp
I came here on Valentine's Day alone. Don't feel sorry for me lol I had a great time and some great drinks. Can't believe I haven't been back yet. Def a stop for me next weekend.

Troy A.

Yelp
Service is not good at all. Sat down and waited for more than 20 mins before anyone came to check on us. Had to go to the bar to get a drink because no waitress helped us. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

Chinedum A.

Yelp
I headed to the standard pour a couple weeks ago, and just started thinking about my experience again, which was so good I had to come leave a review. First off, I'll be back. Food was PHENOMENAL! I had the chicken tenders, as I've heard many of my friends say it's the best in Dallas. They didn't let me down. Sat on the patio bar because there was a wait time for the tables (make a reservation). But man, Sal the bartender really did make me feel like I was at home and welcome. All smiles, bubbly, efficient, and his craft rocked my world. I don't even know what he made me, but he paired it with my food perfectly after asking me a series of questions related to my pallette and allergies. I also noticed he really gave everybody attention and love, introduced everybody to everybody, had everybody in such a good mood, talking, laughing, drinking. I feel like we all knew each other forever. Made a bunch of new friends. Can't wait to come back. 25/10 for everything on here. ALSO, MONDAYS ARE ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR

Christian C.

Yelp
This is a great place to go to for brunch! The inside is decorated to the BEST with beautiful decor. Upon walking in the host was very friendly, and very welcoming, he asked us where we would like to sit, and we decided to sit outside. The waitress was absolutely amazing and recommending food for us to try. I ordered the eggs Benedict and both of my friends ordered the standard breakfast. The drinks were mixed well and tasted amazing. We also did at the end of the meal a drink called "breakfast shot." The fireplace in the patio is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend sitting out there. The only small complaint we had were the waffles were cold, and the butter couldn't melt on them. So service 5 out of 5 and food 4 out of 5. So overall, I would say 4 out of 5 this is a must do in Dallas Uptown.

Julia L.

Yelp
I cannot contain my excitement when I think about the impeccable service we received from Lauren during our recent dining experience. Without a doubt, she deserves the title of the best server I have ever encountered! From the moment we walked through the door, Lauren's attentiveness was simply outstanding. Her warm and welcoming demeanor instantly put us at ease and set the stage for a truly remarkable evening. Throughout the entire meal, she flawlessly anticipated our needs and graciously attended to every detail, making sure our experience was nothing short of extraordinary.

Laura A.

Yelp
Stopped by to avoid traffic. Had chicken sandwich. Was super tasty! The drinks were delicious & great happy hour specials!

Alexandria S.

Yelp
ambiance was so fun! the service was wonderful despite them being so packed! our server still took great care of us. and food was alright but i think i'll have to order something else next time and will like it more :)

Mike K.

Yelp
Amazing service and great food late at night. The ambiance and vibe was amazing. If you are looking for the perfect late night spot in Dallas this is your place.

Kent C.

Yelp
Such a great vibe. Haven't tried the Moscow mule fishbowl they have but looks amazing and like a terrible idea but very cool bar.

Keerthana C.

Yelp
A true 10/10 happy hour!!! Seating was easy to find on a weekday, selected cocktails are $5-$7, and they even have some discounted appetizers and plates to share. We got the bruschetta (highly recommend) and I enjoyed my lucky mule drink.

Bailey P.

Yelp
Good service and always a great time. Food is pretty decent. They didn't have live music when we were here but the live music is the best part of coming here!

Brian H.

Yelp
Biggest chicken tenders ever. Also giant nacho tower that I highly recommend and can be shared easily. Only reason for 3 stars was slow service, but they were busy and packed. Could be why. I'd be back.

Jbth A.

Yelp
This place has very unprofessional and unwelcoming people working for them horrible service. Same way I walked in I walked back out.

Naturally R.

Yelp
First time here and will probably be my last..not a sanitary environment. There were multiple times when the bartender and employee helping the bartender wiped their noses with their hands and touched the straws to put in your drink. Even seen the employee that was helping stock the cups scratch off something inside a washed glass with his bare fingernails, wipe it with a napkin afterwards, and THEN placed it on the shelf to be served elsewhere. Was very disgusting and will not be back. If you care about your health please think hard about this place. Why are you wiping your noses with your hands then touching customers straws? And scratching dried particles from patrons glasses with your bare finger nails and placing it on the shelf to be used for another patron?! Extremely unsanitary

Ross B.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great brunch, Sal the bartender is excellent and friendly. Had a good time sitting at bar by myself. Note- peppers on breakfast tacos could be better if they were grilled.

Christine J.

Yelp
Standard pour is my favorite bar/restaurant in Dallas the atmosphere in there is so chic but also such a vibe you walk in and it's dark and like a little red and everyone's having a good time. They have couches and tables in an incredible outdoor area with an outdoor bar. Their happy hour is also to die for all the drinks are like 5 to 6 dollars. My favorite thing on the menu Hass to be the Caesar salad with the fried chicken on top. They're known for the fried chicken but if you order the Caesar salad with it on top, you get the best of both worlds. My favorite drinks have to be the French 75 and I always get them to make me a gimlet, and they are also incredible. It's such a fun place to come with all your friends where you can just sit down and talk and get some drinks and maybe share some food if you wanted to. This is my absolute favorite place ever.

Anne S.

Yelp
Food is good and environment is fun. Service took a while. My friend ordered a Mac & cheese and it never came out... so we reminded our waitress to which she told us she "remembers everything" and "she must not have ordered it". Maybe she was just having a day, but it was kinda snappy. We still had a good time!

Jay H.

Yelp
Such a great social atmosphere and food was so good! The service was great! Going back!

David C.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, service is great and food and drink's delicious. One of my favorite brunch places in the DFW

Carley M.

Yelp
So so yummy! The server warned us about the massive portion sizes and you can't really tell from the picture, but the burger stood about 6 inches tall and each chicken tender was more like a massive chicken breast. I was full off of ONE. Also came with 3-4 different sauce options. Highly recommend!!!

Matata H.

Yelp
Cailyn (hopefully I spelled her name right) was amazing!!!! My friend and I decided to come here to celebrate my 25th birthday and as always, the food and service was amazing. She was so sweet! We chatted with the servers, Cailyn and Lauren, for a little and they made me feel so special on my birthday. I believe that Cailyn is new at The Standard Pour, but we wouldn't have known if she didn't tell us. Also, if you ever stop by, the Caesar salad with buffalo sauce, ranch, and Caesar dressing is an absolute game changer.... I'm not kidding! My friend ordered this but I wanted to steal her meal. Shout out to Lauren for recommending. She was also a gem. I feel like I have new friends here. Thank you guys :)
