The Standard, Singapore

Lovely new stylish hotel with boutique atmosphere. Loved floor to ceiling windows and bathrooms. Room climatisation good. Smart use of small spaces. Above all the staff is very friendly and service oriented. Food in restaurant and pool is excellent. It mat be a bit further off bustling Orchard Road but that gave it a more serene flavour. Would definitely come back. Recommended

This latest outpost of the (mildly) irreverent The Standard brand brings a sleek new building and garden; thoughtfully-designed and tasteful rooms designed for comfortable living; warm and attentive service; and reasonably-priced, tasty food and beverage to the upscale residential neighborhood of Orange Grove Road. We loved the warm service, the expansive, terraced garden and pool area, and the residential feel of the hotel. We really felt like we lived in Singapore. Absolutely would return!

Swanky rooms and clean. Lovely reception - welcoming and service oriented (on top of usual Singaporean hospitality). Loved the mini garden cafe- nice for a cuppa even when it rains. New rooms come with full black out blinds and guarantee a good nights rest.

Went to The Standard for coffee and lunch. Beautiful place to get some work done in a peaceful environment. Great prices too! Loved the people working there - super friendly and very attentive. A special shout-out to the GM for making sure I had everything I needed. I did get a sneak peak into one of the suites, and it was super spacious with nice views.

The Standard is absolutely the best place to stay in Singapore.||Our family enjoyed two twin rooms for a total of 5 nights - after our first four nights and venturing elsewhere, we cancelled our last night JJST TO COME BACK to Standard,||The rooms are smartly designed, very comfortable beds, fabulous pool and location is ideally close to Orchard Road (shops, restaurant and more).||Moreover, the staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We had a very bad day before we checked in and the team did little extra things for us just to feel comfortable - very special

Great stay in the new hotel. Really clever use of space. Very light rooms with floor to ceiling windows (and automatic blinds). |The cleanest room I have ever stayed in. Was there for 2 nights. Feature: Garden, pool & restaurant all great quality. Friendly staff and atmosphere could not do enough for me as a guest

Staff fantastic and helpful all the time. Swimming pool amazing to do lengths. Rooms stunning. Just The Standard's standard. Will return to the hotel in Singapore again. The gym needs to be sorted but it going to be done soon. Weights available to use. Thank you.

I like it as it is new and stylish. Great location as it’s tucked away from busy area yet very near to that. Swimming pool is lovely. However I probably won’t come back. The room is very small and if you choose non pool view it’s a normal view as it’s not in the location for skyline or anything. Again it is a lovely and nice hotel but not for the dollar you spend- highest floor is 8.
