"New filings currently replace the McFadden’s brand with a new project, The Standard Gaming Bar & Tavern, that delivered its initial permit requests last month. Really good food. We tried the VGK burger, a pizza, wings, pretzel bites and the onion rings. The kitchen was kinda slow and we didn't get any of our apps until our mains came out, but every thing was hot and tasty and the bartender did a great job with keeping our drinks full. It's kind of noisy but not bad on smoke.

My friends and I stopped by this place after work on a Friday night, and we had such a great experience! The food was amazing—I tried the pizza and chicken tenders, and both were delicious. Even though it was pretty busy, the service was top-notch. Sierra, our bartender, was absolutely awesome and so attentive the entire night. She never missed a beat, making sure we always had what we needed. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and will be coming back to!

We visited on a Sunday evening, and the place was completely dead—only six people in the entire bar, including us. The service was absolutely terrible. We had to hunt down the bartender every time we wanted another drink. We ordered wings and two sandwiches. The wings arrived, but the sandwiches never did. Turns out, the bartender never even put the order in. To top it off, I’m fairly certain an extra Corona was added to our tab, but since she never provided an itemized bill, I couldn’t confirm it.

Food was tasty, and service was great. Server was very attentive, but then again, we were the only ones in the restaurant this morning. Ordered a Breakfast Burrito that came with no sides, and today's special, the French Dip with fries. Portions were on the smaller side. We also ordered a water and a Diet Coke The bill was a bit pricy at $39.28 plus an $8 tip. The gym across the parking lot takes up ALL the parking spaces, which made it impossible to park anywhere near this place. I would like to see this place when it's busier! It looks like it could be fun! Lots of TVs with all types of sports! Definitely place for LVGK fans!! There were also videos of Jackpots won there ..38K, 20K and 12.5K.

Went to try this place out since the reviews looked good. The vibe is pretty cool in there love the chalk walls. They have cool happy hour specials and decent food specials as well. However, I don’t know if it was just the cook the night or what but the food was all so so salty. We were excited for the fried pickles and all you taste was salty batter. The pickle chips I think were maybe too thin so you didn’t get that dill taste you look for. Then we ordered our meals tried the Mt. Charleston and fried shrimp platter. The shrimps tasted like straight seasoning salt and our fries doused with salt. We asked for more lemons hoping it would cut the salt a bit it did not. After the 2nd shrimp I just couldn’t and just peeled off the breading. The fries were also super salty I just kept dousing them in ketchup, but in the end didn’t even really eat them. The coleslaw also salty and didn’t have that coleslaw taste I don’t know if it was lack of mayo or what it was just not good. Unfortunately, the Mt. Charleston was the same imagine super salty buffalo sauce thats what that was. Fries underneath as well super salty. The whole meal was so salty that we all felt nauseous afterwards. By the time we were checked on we were almost through, and it took a while so we didn’t want anything else at that point. It seems like a really good hang out spot/bar but food wise not so much. Probably won’t be back, but I hope our meals were just a fluke cause was very disappointing that or they are really trying to sell some beers. My husband and father in law had beers with their food and still it was salty so I guess that says a lot.

Let’s start with the good. The place looks great inside and out. Staff is friendly and the beer is cold and wet. So as a bar it’s great. The family went here for dinner and it was a different story. Staff was still friendly but the food was slow. Everything was cooked well but wayyyyyy over seasoned. The best way to explain it is if you switched all the salt with msg. It was honestly hard to eat and killed the meal for everyone. This may not be the norm but everyone’s food had this issue of drastic over seasoning. For the fried pickles I get what other reviews meant about the juice and so on being gone but personally I didn’t mind.

*DON’T LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE UNLOCKED HERE! Excellent little spot that’s open 24 hours, has very attentive and friendly bartenders, and AMAZING cooks! 👨🏻‍🍳 I came in originally for a quick drink and a bite to eat. The bartenders were very friendly and made me an excellent tequila sunrise. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta, and it was PHENOMENAL. It’s so rare that a restaurant actually has chefs who know how to cook chicken properly; plenty of seasoning with crispy edges. I will certainly be back next time I’m in the area! *someone tried to break into my RV while I was parked near by. Watch out!

10 stars! This place was SO good. My drinks were only $8 and they were perfect. We happened to come in on a Tuesday which was buy one get one free burgers. The VGK burger and patty melt (which counted as a burger) were delicious. Fries and onion rings were delicious. Definitely found a new fave local spot. Jade was our server and she was so nice!
