Frankenmuth Is ‘Michigan’s Little Bavaria’—and It's the Best Small Town for Families

"Located just outside the main part of town, this European-style fine dining restaurant offers an award-winning wine list, a patio and rooftop, and a cozy dining room; menu highlights include foie gras, A5 wagyu, a seasonal tasting menu, the yogurt radish soup in spring, and the truffle mushroom risotto—it's pricier but many say it's worth every penny." - Katy Spratte Joyce Katy Spratte Joyce Katy Spratte Joyce is a food, business, and travel writer based in Omaha, Nebraska. Our experience at this restaurant was exceptional from start to finish. The service was flawless—friendly, attentive, and perfectly paced. Special thanks to our server Mike, who was both professional and warm, making us feel right at home. The wine list was a standout. Thoughtfully curated and exciting, with a sommelier who was knowledgeable without being the least bit condescending—a refreshing and enjoyable touch. And the food - absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Every dish was a perfect balance of flavor and artistry. We had a lovely time and can’t wait to return!

Google
Absolutely delicious meal. One of the best we’ve had including international and expensive steak chop houses. Staff were attentive, knowledgeable and service was excellent. I only wished it was closer to my home but it’s well worth the money you’ll spend.

Google
We had the 4 course Valentines meal. Steak was delicious (just very small), the salmon frittata was mediocre, the raviloi tasted like they dumped a packet of ramen noodle flavoring in there and it was disgusting, & the desert (not pictured) was good. The presentation by the chef was beautiful 💝 Our bill was around 175$. They even added a $5 credit card charge and said they would take it off if we paid cash. I'd rather have that 5 go to the waiter. The waiter we had was awesome and wish I remembered his name. 🌟 Would be nice if they had gluten free and dairy free options. As an overall experience in my opinion its just not worth it. Now don't go and say I wasn't there, my name wasn't on the reservation, my friends was.

Google
I had the opportunity to attend a wine tasting private event here and had an amazing time! Everything from the staff to the food and wine was amazing. Everything was prepared with care, and the flavor pairings with wine were fantastic. I will definitely be back for meals in the future!

Google
A Culinary Gem That Exceeds Expectations Having dined at many exceptional restaurants, we can confidently say that Station 100 sits firmly at the top of our list. Admittedly, we were a bit skeptical upon walking in, as the space carries a cozy, homey vibe rather than the sleek, modern aesthetic often associated with fine dining. But any doubts were quickly erased by the impeccable service and food that went beyond all expectations — a true 12/10 experience. We started with espresso martinis that were perfectly crafted, setting the tone for the evening. From there, we indulged in tender, flavorful scallops that left us eagerly anticipating what was next. Opting for the 5-course holiday meal, we were delighted with every single course. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, with flavors that harmonized in a way that only masterful culinary skill can achieve. When it came time to choose a wine, we wanted to try something new. The staff was incredibly helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations that led us to a choice we thoroughly enjoyed. Their knowledge and attentiveness elevated the dining experience even further. If you’re seeking a true fine dining experience where every detail is considered — from the first sip to the final bite — Station 100 is the place to be. It’s a rare combination of warmth, hospitality, and culinary excellence that will leave you already planning your next visit.

Google
Brought my mother in law here for her birthday and we absolutely loved everything from the atmosphere to the service to the absolutely delicious visually appealing food. We had never had lamb before and let me just say it was not disappointing. Will definitely come back

Google
The food tasted as good as it looked. So so good. Brandon was a fantastic waiter, He answered every question that we had and made our experience great. We will return!

Lara M.

Google
Hands down the best, only fine dining in Frankenmuth. Great wine bottle service and gold dusted tomahawk steak was beyond expectations. Came here for an anniversary and was given a nice private table

Mark T.

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent service, relaxing. Would love to try the rooftop seating in the summer.

Evelyn S.

Yelp
We had our anniversary dinner on Sunday evening at your fine establishment. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The thoughtfulness of the menu is above and beyond anything in our area. My husband and I enjoyed everything that we had. Thank you to Brandon for making it a memorable meal for us. We will be back again.

Yelp
A fantastic hidden gem that I am so glad i got to experience. This restaurant would be a 6 month wait list if in Seattle. But it would never be the same if it wasn't here in Frankenmuth. The owner/chef is so passionate about what she does. It's not just a job for her but her passion and love. If you have the opportunity to visit Frankenmuth, MI do not miss this hidden jem!

Yelp
Elegant and Romantic place for dining they have done a wonderful job of upgrading this place. The service was excellent and are waiter was very knowledgeable with the menu they have delicious German food along with other choices too, but it's hard not to order the German food and they have a very good Apple Strudel with the vanilla cream sauce just like your in Germany. I highly recommend this restaurant

Yelp
The atmosphere is a take on European elegance. The Host and waiters are dressed to the nines, in some very stylish suits. The place isn't large, which creates a coziness. They definitely lean into mood lighting. I ordered the Austrian Goulash ($29). A slow cooked Beef, seasoned with Paprika, in an onion stew. Served with spatzle. It was Fantastic! Probably the best European Goulash I've had in a long time. The spatzle was delicate and delicious. I finished with an Apple Strudel ($8). A classic Austria dish done divinely. Every element was perfect. The service was too notch. Very friendly and super efficient. Overall an easy 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely! I was surprised that it wasn't busier on a Memorial Sunday. I also don't understand the negative reviews, unless I just came on a very good day. I recommend!

Yelp
We've been here a few times now over the years. Our fairly large group (2-3 families) stop by on our vacations to Northern Michigan. Previously our experiences were very pleasant. The food was great, the staff was friendly and attentive and we liked the historical, quaint feel of the interior. Unfortunately that was not our last experience. It was like night and day, so I would say the restaurant is under new management. When we walked in we were immediately asked if we had reservations. As I said, we've eaten here in prior years and never been asked that. It was dinner time, but the restaurant was not busy, just a couple of other tables were occupied. We immediately said if that was a problem, we would leave. After much fussing between the host and someone who appeared to be the manager, they said they would make an exception. The manager came over and helped seat us, and kept putting emphasis on the fact that they are an upscale restaurant. (Was he implying we were not the right clientele?!) We were dressed in semi-casual clothes as we had been traveling, but not t-shirts and jeans. The other diners were dressed in regular street clothes. We ordered, and there was a bit of frustration as they would not allow an extra plate for the two small children, so the parents could share a little of their food. They insisted on the purchase of two full meals, even though the children were only 2 & 3. The manager kept moving around the restaurant and micro-managing. The staff seemed rather frustrated or unmotivated, and we had terrible service. We had to ask for refills, the food took forever (at least an hour), the waitress hardly came, and every little bit the disapproving manager would come by, but not apparently to provide or check on the service. I'm going to stop right here and say that we've eaten in high class restaurants around the US, and we've even eaten in places that weren't "upscale" where we felt more welcome and had better service. We first came and continued to come for the delicious German food and the charming atmosphere. This review the three stars is for the food alone--it was delicious. However it is not enough to entice us back for such bad service at that price.

Yelp
Zero stars, zero tip. Waited 1.5 hours in an empty restaurant. My food was cold. Had to go look for my food before it even came out. Refused to take my meal off the bill even though I didn't eat it! Never again.

Yelp
Wonderful ambiance, food and service for my wife's 76 birthday celebration. The steaks are tender and the desserts are varied.

Michael C.

Yelp
Great service and food! Perfect place for an anniversary meal. We loved every bit of our food.

Troy K.

Yelp
First time at this restaurant. I must its nice having a good place to go to. A great wine list, small beer list. Ordered an app if salmon mousse, asparagus mousse, with a piece of toast with a carmelized onion, it was good, 2 pieces of toast would have been great. Wife ordered the filet, I ordered the ribeye. Both came with potatoes 2 ways, some veggies with edible flowers, foam, covered by a demiglaze. All was really good. Ordered 2 desserts to go, raspberry cheese cake, and puff ball covered in a chocolate gnash. both good, the puff ball was off the hook. This is the place in Frankenmuth for a nice dinner, for a special occaison. Service was perfect

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Nothing like this around! Unbelievable food. Highly recommend. Will be back for sure pricey but worth it

Skylar L.

Yelp
Highest class dining. The Station 100 is at the level of what The Bear shows on Hulu. And with $10 burgers at lunch, they cannot be beat. Unbelievable experience.

Yelp
The food, the service, the waiter were all fantastic. An amazing Filet , potato, and vegetable. Loved the bourbon selection!

Yelp
When being sat I overheard the staff talking about us. So I was aggravated from the start. Zero kids options. I asked for bread - I was charged $3 for toast for my daughter so she had something to eat. And they didn't even bring her a plate. She had to eat on a napkin. Then my Butternut soup was barely warm and had way too many toppings. Cream, bacon, nuts, and spices. No. Pick two and don't over complicate it. THEN... my schnitzel barely had any meat in it. A third of it was only breading. No meat even inside. The inside was soo cold and cluttered. I'm very disappointed. Our nice family meal was not worth what we paid. Not recommended. We will not be back.

Nancy B.

Yelp
This resturant is a gem. Had dinner here last night based on a recommendation. Authentic German schnitzel and spaetzel with gravy. The veal was very tender and the spaetzel were like my grandmother made. Highly recommend!

Nahim I.

Yelp
We went here for our anniversary and they didn't disappoint. We had excellent service and delicious food. The Panna Cotta is a must.

Yelp
What a gem. This fine dining restaurant would stand out anywhere, but it is unusual in Frankenmuth. We followed (waiter) Brandon's recommendation for a steak salad and casmir rice. Both dishes were delicious and portioned well so we could split an apple streudel for desert. Brandon recommended returning for dinner where steaks are a specialty. We will do that.

Yelp
Ok, so normally i wait a couple days and forget half of what I witnessed and what i ate, but i will make an exception. I will even throw in a 5 rating, which is rare. This current owner of 9 years has a hidden jem for a restaurant. If you ever wanted to know what it is like to have fine European dining in a very romantic, intimate setting, here is your chance. You never have to ask about food, wine, or what you are experiencing, they provide the all the answers. We went on a Sunday, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. The food was top notch, my fish entree was the best i have ever had. I have had 3 top notch risotto : A friends house in Switzerland The Refectory on bethel road Station 100 These are not in order, but it was amazing! Lastly, the tiramisu was what i would expect from italy, very good quality

Rob B.

Yelp
Our first time having dinner at Station 100 tonight was absolutely wonderful. From the greeting as we entered to the fabulous meal that we enjoyed, and the tasty desserts to finish our meal. It seemed as though the staff was there only for our table. I have not been treated so well in a very very long time. I was utterly impressed beyond words. I can recommend "Station 100" Whole heartedly to anyone who wants a truly fine dining experience.

April F.

Yelp
The restaurant had great ambiance, quiet, quaint. The plate came out beautifully presented. The best plate I have ever eaten. Service was great! Came back a second night.

Yelp
Wow, a great spot in Frankenmuth! Schnitzel here was 10/10! Flavor, presentation, texture -- perfect! The salmon was pretty good too, but honestly regret not ordering two schnitzels (and I say this as someone who never likes to double order). The best thing!!! The chef came out to say hello and was sooo sweet! Definitely the best part of Frankenmuth. Make reservations in advance!!!

Yelp
Had a great time at my birthday dinner at the station 100. I have a newfound egg allergy and the waiter was very accommodating and gave great suggestions on what I could have. Our drinks were great and it was a quiet, romantic, and relaxing atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again!
google avatar

Janey B.

Yelp
After careful consideration and reading many reviews of Station 100. We gave it a try. We weren't thrilled with the beer selection, they had Amstel light. Luckily, I had a Miller Lite in my pocket. We shared the Weinerschnitzle. The present was a bit strange. Never figured out what the black arty thing was on top. It was definitely elevated by the squeeze of lemon. I did ask for salt and pepper. It just needed a bit more flavor. The salad surprised me...It didn't seem to fit the restaurant. The carrots had been put through a food processor and the vinaigrette was kind of odd. Somewhat Asian, somewhat Italian. It was a very romantic setting. Loved the banquette seating. Service was excellent.

Yelp
I was in the mood for a really nice glass of wine, I mean fancy. I had that in mind and a nice steak. Well I feel like God answered my prayer above and beyond with this place. They had a 5 course wine pairing dinner with exquisite, decadent wines and courses pleasing to the eye and to the stomach. Duck was delicious, butternut squash soup with pancetta, creme brulee and decadent wine, Cabernet mix and saturne dessert wine. Wow! The owner also a sommelier came and described the wine and told me all about the history and I tasted the best wine of my life. And when I asked for another glass (3oz pours which are standard for the wine pairing) they gave me a great price. One of if not the best meal of my life. If you're looking for great wine and a memorable fancy meal with friendly service you will not be disappointed. It's been a few weeks but I am still remembering fondly and it was worth it.

Chuck S.

Yelp
This restaurant is beautifully decorated. The ambiance is charming and the service was perfect. Our food and drinks were amazing. If you go to Frankenmuth and want a romantic dinner be sure to check it out!
google avatar

Melanie S.

Yelp
Amazing food, beautiful presentation and the best service. Highly recommend the scallops, any steak on the menu and tiramisu or cheese cake deserts

John L.

Yelp
Wow! If you partake of the Weiner Schnitzel with wild mushroom gravy with Spaetze you will never have a more perfect example of how wonderful this meal can be. I will always make this meal a must have anytime I am in Michigan heading North to fish and I am able to be at Frankenmuth at a time the restaurant is open. I would go so far to say if given the choice this is the place I would choose over all of this hamlet's many wonderful places to dine.

John H.

Yelp
Very disappointed and not worth the price. I ordered the Ribeye. The cut of meat was very stringy and tough, it could hardly be cut with the knife. It was also over seasoned, making it difficult to taste the meat. The vegetables were diced carrots that were over cooked and looked like they came out of a can. My wife had the mushroom risotto which was unremarkable. They also had a non-cash up charge if you paid with credit which was unexpected.

Glenda G.

Yelp
I was treated to dinner at The Station 100 last night. Wonderful small restaurant and they are currently expanding and adding a rooftop bar. Beautiful Food presentation included edible flowers.

Yelp
Our last dinner in town needed to be something great. I found this spot on Yelp and made a reservation. I am so glad we went here because the food was spectacular. It's an upscale place, so we got dressed up, but there was literally a guy in swim trunks and a polo, so I guess don't worry about it? And, in a resort/tourist town I guess you expect that. They have mocktails and the server gave suggestions for the kids as there is no "kid menu" - the khazimir rice was a hit with them and my shrimp was amazing. We had a salad and a tomato soup and my husband had a filet - also done perfectly. He is not a fan of dauphine potatoes, but I snuck a bite and they were delicious. I wish we weren't so tired and would have had a cocktail or wine - they apparently have like 4500 bottles below! Definitely make it a point to eat here when you are in town. Other than a slow pace, it was ideal!

G G.

Yelp
great food , great presentation and great service food is almost to pretty to eat and taste delicious

Curtis N.

Yelp
My niece and my great nephews came here with her boyfriend and his son. They were treated WONDERFULLY and they said the food was Michelin star worthy. I appreciate that they were so wonderful to a young family with young kids and a toddler, although fancy and pricey they were treated with respect non judgement and class. It was a fantastic experience for people that normally don't splurge in this way! Bravo and when I am in the area I will 100% be dining here!

Heather S.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. The facility is unassuming.. I was a few minutes late but there was no issue. The wait staff was very attentive. While they were busy I did not wait long. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Lola I.

Yelp
Three of us ate dinner here last night (Sept 1). Delicious food, nice setting and impeccable service. The restaurant was quiet, so we took our time, never felt rushed. Two of us had the Filet and both were done to our satisfaction, came with dauphinoise potatoes, fresh vegetables, rose' foam and sauces, even an edible flower. The third member had the veal schnitzel, she said it was delicious. We will be back.

Lonney C.

Yelp
I had a reservation for 6 people at 7:00 on 9-18-24. I thought I had posted a review the night of the dinner. The service was terrible. It took 20+ minutes just to get water and another to get our drinks. The dinners arrived approximately an hour or more after we ordered. I felt as though we were ignored the entire evening. You can find much better dining alternatives in town.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Discovered this local gem from a journalists article about best restaurants in the area. The Main St side is very unassuming, as the main entrance is in the back. Quant little bistro with Chef inspired local menu and daily specials. Extensive wine list. Great venue for a casual dinner, plan a couple hours. Friendly and attentive small staff. Would definitely recommend.

Ed S.

Yelp
The place is a hidden gem... no, its not a vegas showplace on the outside, but you walk in, and are greeted by a warm and friendly staff. The service was on par with any fine dinning in a major city, as was the chef's food. I've eaten in Munich.. Cairo.. Vegas... and just about every major city in between, and this place was right up there. We will of course be going back.

Doug R.

Yelp
The food was delicious and unique in its own way. Definitely worthy of being called fine dining. The service was excellent and friendly. The atmosphere was very quiet tonight. But this place looks fun on a busy night.

Heather R.

Yelp
The food was excellent and the service was great. My husband had the Tomahawk steak and I had the mushroom risotto.
google avatar

Todd M.

Yelp
Terribly pretentious restaurant with zero service. It looks so nice and you expect to have a good experience. In town and choose this place from ratings alone. Called ahead. Place is half full at best. Sat back in a corner, completely ignored for 15 minutes. Can't tell you about the food. They did have a nice selection of wine and whisky, but you couldn't get service to try anything if your life depended on it.

Dana R.

Yelp
Everything was perfect, from the service to the wine and food. Prices weren't bad either! Worth the visit. The pork schnitzel dinner was FABULOUS. Exceptional authentic German food! Pay attention to the day of the week as they aren't open all the time. I hope I'm back in this area sometime!
google avatar

Marc P.

Yelp
This place is a gem in an area you might not expect to find a fine dining establishment! The food here was very good but the real star of this place is the service! This is a small family run place and it knows what it's strengths are and they do them well! I would give the service an A+. It's a small operation. 1 hostess, 1 waiter and 1 sommelier! They all are top notch! The wine list is an A+. It is a little pricey on the high end but it is an remarkable wine list! The sommelier knows his stuff inside and out. If wine is your thing then you will love this place. Our waiter had an intimate knowledge of the entire menu and did a wonderful job. The hostess was amazing too! My wife ordered the halibut and I ordered filet and a lobster tail. The food presentation was top notch! My filet was cooked a perfect medium rare and the halibut filet was quite generous. If you find yourself in Frankenmuth and are looking to eat something other than the famous Frankenmuth chicken then this fine dining establishment is the place to go!

Yelp
The service was simply not good. We arrived for our meal at 5:00 and ordered by 5:15. I got a four course meal and my wife simply got an entree. I didn't receive my first course until around 5:45. Second course arrived around 6:15. We waited until around 7pm and the third course still had not arrived. I don't like complaining at restaurants but at this point we were starving and feeling miserable. The appetisers are both very small which is fine but they are not filling. Our waitress hadn't checked on us in nearly an hour so I had to motion for a host that was seating a table to ask him to check on our food. Like magic our entrees instantly arrived. The presentation was beautiful, but I had ordered a medium well steak and received rare. Whoever cooked it cut a slice into the steak to check how cooked it was. The part they cut through wasn't red so I assume they based the temperature off of this. This is extremely amateurish for a place that charges a minimum of 50 dollars for a steak. Once again I don't like complaining so I ate most of the steak, but the very Center was red and nearly uncooked. Whether or not you like rare steak is irrelevant, when a premium is paid for your steak to be cooked a certain way, the individual cooking it should have the knowledge to determine the temperature without cutting into it. The entire time we ate our waitress still had not checked on us. Finally the kind host came and took our plates. We sat for nearly another 30 minutes expecting our fourth course. The waitress finally came and asked if we wanted a dessert menu, I told her I expected the fourth course. She had a look of shock and said it would come right out. Another half hour went by and I finally waved her down, and simply asked for the check. The waitress ran off saying our dessert was being plated. Like magic after complaining the dessert instantly appeared in front of us. We slowly ate our dessert; still with beverages that had remained empty for over an hour. The dessert was fantastic, but it's hard to enjoy things when your mood is so sour and you have been sitting in a restaurant for 3 hours. I always tip 20% wherever I go, and it deeply pained me to do so this day. I don't mind if a server makes mistakes at all, but if you're not communicating at all with your guests you don't deserve a tip. All of the guests around me were complaining as well. I should mention the decor in this restaurant is very underwhelming. We felt very claustrophobic and were crammed into a small hallway with 6 other tables. For a restaurant as expensive as this why do the bathrooms feel like you're in a gas station in 1992. Overall I would avoid this restaurant, there are better options in the area. At least the food looked high end.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for a date night out. We had a great time! The ambiance was intimate, the food and drinks were fantastic. We tried the truffle and mushroom risotto for an appetizer, it was very tasty but kind of a smaller portion if ordering for a dinner entree. The salads were great, the balsamic dressing is wonderful. I had the rack of lamb, medium, it came out perfectly cooked. My husband had a seasonal special, beef stroganoff, it had so much flavor! For dessert we tried the tiramisu, the espresso flavor was spot on. It was good but not great. The wait staff were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We had a great time overall and a great dining experience. We will definitely be coming back again.

Ashleigh B.

Yelp
I love this restaurant, it's easily my favorite! The quality of food is amazing and the food itself tastes incredible, I love the options. Everyone who helps you there is so nice and you can tell they are happy to be there. And the actual vibe in the restaurant and peaceful and charming, I highly recommend if you are ever in Frankenmuth.

Yelp
The best restaurant in Frankenmuth, hands down. Schnitzel, Cazimir Curry (Swiss), Truffle Risotto, all knocked off our socks! We've been coming her for years now and have enjoyed seeing it transition into an elegant restaurant. The service and food are outstanding. Beautiful decor, lovely ambience and just amazing food. We had great wine and the Hugo aperitif was perfect! For dessert, the Black Forest cake and cheese cake were wonderful. The cake layers were so light, and the cherries a little boozy. Cheesecake was one of the best we've had. It was just a wonderful meal all around. Glad we made reservations. Can't wait to go back again.

Meagan M.

Yelp
Tl;dr: This isn't our first bad experience, we won't be back again. Food, service and overall experience were a disappointment. The food is dated and pretentious, and the majority of staff does not seem concerned with guest experience. We dined at Station 100 last evening with another couple, and were incredibly disappointed with both the experience and the food. This was our first visit back in almost a year, after a terrible experience on Valentine's Day last year ($600 beef Wellington for 8-10 people to share came out well done when ordered medium rare. Restaurant didn't even apologize, let alone offer to replace it with one that was cooked properly.) We decided to go back and give it another shot, and it has not improved. It says a lot when a "fine dining" restaurant in a town without many options is less than half full on a Saturday night. When we arrived there were only 3 cars in the parking lot. Being fine dining, we expect the meal to progress at a slower pace, but we waited about 20 minutes for our soup and salad to arrive which feels excessive when we were one of only 5 tables in the restaurant on a Saturday evening. Our server was great, especially considering he was the only one working, but the other members of staff fell short of our expectations. The most noteworthy part for me was that after we had dealt with the food mishaps, the chef proceeded to stand outside of the kitchen door, literally staring us down/glaring while we chatted and wrapped things up with the waiter. She made a point to visit every table there except for ours prior to that as well. Throughout our entire experience, we did not have any member of management stop by to check in or discuss the issues that occurred. Three of the four members of our party, myself included, have worked in the industry extensively, and understand that mistakes happen. It matters so much more how the mistake is handled than what it was in the first place. It would have taken very little for us to walk away from that experience willing to give them another opportunity, but they clearly did not care to make the effort. Food: I will say that everything was plated well, but the parsley & colored tuile on each dish is unnecessary and outdated. The tuna carpaccio and beef steak tartare appetizers were fantastic, the chicken curry was okay. The tomato soup and house salad were great as well. For entrees, my boyfriend had the lamb rack which was delicious, but a very small portion for the price with not a lot of meat on the chops. I ordered the filet, cooked medium, which came out rare initially. They took it back to bring it up to temp, and I let the server know I was okay if it was a little over medium rather than still being under. It came back still quite medium rare, and was tough and had no flavor. I ended up not even eating it, as the sides that come with it were disappointing as well. The vegetables are bland, cold and undercooked, and the potato dauphinoise had far too much nutmeg. The other couple with us had the Austrian goulash, which was okay, and the A5 wagyu medium rare with 3 scallops. The scallops were okay, but the wagyu came out medium well, which isn't something you'd expect at that price point. He informed our server and asked for a replacement, and he was happy to oblige and didn't take the old one. He then came back and said he needed the old one for the kitchen to cook the new one, which is fine, but was odd that he didn't just take it initially. The second one was better as well. For dessert we had a tiramisu, which was just okay, and the Black Forest cake which very clearly was foodservice supplied, not made in-house. Overall, save yourself the $ and disappointment and skip this one, or stick to apps and soup & salad.
