The Station Sports Bar and Grill

We held my daughters gender reveal in the large private bar room area on Nov 20th. We got a great deal on it for the afternoon from the manager. The room was perfect! It was not only decorated for the season but it was so very neat & clean. The new parents to be used the stage area for the big moment & there were plenty chairs/tables for everyone. All employees were accommodating and professional. Times are hard, so we are beyond grateful that they gave us a spectacular deal on use of this space. Family & friends for both mom & dad to be were able to find out at the same time that ITS A BOY!!

Had a blast for the Grand Marshall Spanish Town Party. Brother N Laws Jambalya was awesome as always. We had a blast and the DJ was awesome also. Good Time!

Had a great time last night watching the game. Food was good and it was the perfect amount of busy but not over crowded. They also let me park overnight which was awesome.

Dress code is enforced , was denied access due to a sleeveless shirt in the midst of spooky season by the front door host. No shirts were available for purchase at the bar. This would have been excusable had their website stated a dress code is enforced . Its a shame .

I'm giving The Station Bar and Grill five stars because they do exactly what they are supposed to do. We had an excellent selection of draft beer to choose from including the local favorites. Although no frozen drinks were available, the mixed drinks were correctly made and tasted great. We got there for $6 burgers and free comedy on a Wednesday and were slightly dismayed to find a headliner with a $15 entry... but that ended up being well worth it. The $6 burgers were phenomenal and would be at their regular price too. Can't wait to go back again, but think I'll wait for the next headline show, because that put the whole experience over the top. One last note... they call themselves a bar and grill, but I would clarify that they are more bar than grill. Orders are taken and served at the bar... but don't let that keep you away!

I didn't know what to expect of this place, but it was a lot of fun. My buddy rented out a room for his 40th birthday party and had a karaoke DJ. Bartenders were attentive and the drinks good. Everyone was friendly and I'll likely go back again.

Caroline, Bailey, Kaylyn, & Lilli are the best bartenders I have ever encountered! Their personalities and service are unmatched. Best bar in Baton Rouge! Also very easy on the eyes…

The restaurant was cool even though we didn't necessarily find what we were looking for. It still turned out to be a decent experience. What really made me reconsider the star numbers was the cook/chef. He made a grilled cheese sandwich for me even though it's not on the menu because I don't eat meat. I really loved the flexibility and consideration given to me, the customer.

Awesome bar to hang out with friends. Good drinks, food, and lots of space for everyone. This is my favorite bar in BR because the staff is very welcoming and plenty of TV's to watch your team. They have Mango Cart beer on draft so that is my go to when there. Awesome atmosphere and best decorated bar for the holidays. You can't go wrong going to The Station!

Was up for LSU family weekend staying at a hotel close to this restaurant. Stopped in to get some food and found a very cool place. Burger was good. Beer was cold and place had a really cool vibe about it. Would definitely stop back by.

Good bar with solid potential, but I'm definitely not the only one tired of those sorority-type bartenders with attitudes through the roof. The place itself has a nice setup, decent music, and a good mix of people, but the service kills the vibe.

I'm sure this is an amazing place for 21-30 year olds. Maybe. Service terrible. However- not blaming the gals at the bar. Clearly needs to be more instruction. That's on management. Food terrible. Left a full plate of onion rings on table when we left. The burger had nice flavor. Mushrooms are from a can. No salt & pepper (in whole restaurant)? Weird. I just dipped my burger in my fries. Plenty of salt on those. Plastic forks & knives in packages. (When we asked for cutlery). Paid our bill - including the onion rings. I've never written a bad review and didn't want to. However- can't pull up a website to get an email. Also strange. It's a cool looking place. That can do better.

We were in for open mic night and it was great! We enjoyed the show, the food, and the drinks! Service was friendly and fast! we will definitely go back when we visit!

Management is terrible and inconsiderate. It's a bar...people are drinking. You can't kick people out just for being drunk, it's a bar. Would not recommended. Never coming back.

Been going to this place for more years than I can say. It has evolved with time and the crowds. Beautifully decor and done, great food menu and food. Great staff all around feel safe there and always some kind of entertainment. Bands, comedy shows, games and tvs everywhere. Truly a upscale sports bar and the feel on Nola vibes.

I only went for a beer on a weeknight. Bartender didn't know anything about the draft beers. I had to point to the tap I wanted and it felt like I was bothering her. I'm sure it's fine if your are 21 and looking to tie on a buzz and be loud. Not for me.

A nice spot. Was in Baton Rouge for the night and everything close was closed at 9:00. Looked up the Station on yelp to see what my fellow yelpers had to say and i was all set Place on the inside looks like it will host a fun Halloween or whatever fun you are looking for. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. a nice selection of drinks i ordered their chicken wings because it was a popular choice with yelpers. they were 100% on it i was delighted to see fries. The sauce was delicious. I was there on a Tuesday so i can't say much about the crowd. i highly recommend the place. i felt like i had something on the long taco bell liners because i know Taco bell don't make no wings like that and don't serve beer. lol

My friends and I came here for my birthday and had the BEST time singing karaoke!!! The service and drinks were great. If you are looking for a great karaoke spot, 100% come to The Station!!!

Was looking for just some bar food and cold beer for dinner, so walked a bit behind our hotel a at the Embassy Suites and stopped in here as not to go far. The place was nearly empty, a Monday night without Saints playing ( otherwise they are packed)- so sat at bar with my buddy and got some beers. Ordered some hot wings which were pretty good- not that big but tasty and a pile of hot fries. Also has some spicy fajita friend rolls that were actually quite good. Certainly pre-frozen, but served hot with fries and cold beer and plenty of TVs- thats all I needed for the night. Had a few beers and walked back to the hotel without a big expense. Probably best on weekends but good for us . Will come back for a party night - looks like a cool place.

This is a great place to hang out at. The food is amazing and the drinks are too! The bartenders are very friendly and make it feel like home. The decor is impeccable. A safe place to let loose and have fun.

Then treat yourself to some of their array of libations. Bring your crew and enjoy the ambiance. If you are about bar cleanliness, this was is in tip-top shape. It's spacious, too! I love all the different sections that it has inside. Looking for a place to host a private/special event? They'll definitely set something up for you. Where are they located? They are on Bennington off College Blvd. Check 'em out! You won't be disappointed.

The DJ on Tuesdays is AWESOME!! So much fun karaoke is off da hook seriously, the DJ is so accommodating and just good vibes all around. I travel one hour just to hang out here. Any day of the week! Do this!!! No lie. On the fly! Lol Food is served hot and fresh. They go out their way to be so hospitable. Park where you likey. Plenty of parking. Just do this. You won't regret it. GET YOU SOME!

Ordered spicy tiger tenders. Had no spice whatsoever. Cook says he knows that's the way they come in frozen. pulled bartender I was paying cash do not put it on my credit card. She still put it on my credit card and then got mouthy when I told her to take it off. She should be fired. Also she was training a new employee she took ice off the bar and put it in somebody's glass. FDA should check this bar out

This bar is very spacious they even have an outside seating area which is nice with a tv. They have strong drinks and serve food. They have karaoke on fridays which is fun. Its pack during game days. I love the fact that they serve food. They have pool tables also. Also two bar areas so you wont be waiting for a drink. If you are looking for a bar to have a good time at this is it.

Ordered the "QB Sneak" Bacon Cheeseburger. At first they brought out a "Touchdown" shredded cheddar cheeseburger. When I pointed out the error the took it back and then walked back out with the burger 30 seconds later with two 1" pieces of bacon that covered less than a 1/4 of the patty. Not much for quality control of the food. Burger and Fries were good and you received large portions for the money.

Food was awesome! Great beer selection! Actually enjoyed Friday karaoke! This bar has really cool decor and all around good vibes. Can't wait to come back!

The station, Purple and gold football season kick off party. Five dollar burgers, shot specials and sample crown royal shots. From 5 to 2 AM the event was filled with karaoke dance contests and a live band. Everyone was very friendly and the staff was very helpful and attentive to the customers. They're r are plenty of tables to sit at and much room on the dance floor. They have an outdoor patio and two bars.

We went a few days ago and place had a great crowd with good music! Food and drinks were on point. Bartenders and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about menu. Fun atmosphere. We will be back.

It's my first time coming to this bar. The bartenders are really friendly and pretty. They also have their own personal shots if you ask them about it. The food is average though. It takes a while to come out so if you order something, just know it's gonna be a little while. I would definitely come back since the atmosphere is great and it's a bar so you already know that there's gonna be loud music and dancing. Ooh and they have a karaoke area which is pretty fun if you're into singing.

Packed!!! Basically this is the go to bar for the older crowd in B.R. and around 12 it is extremely packed. There are two rooms one w/ a band and an area to dance the other with a pool table and just bar area. The cover is usually $5 dollars and everyone gets in. Drinks aren't too expensive and depending on the band the music can range from awesome to not-so great.

This place is great if you are in the college area, and don't want to go to tigerland. Great drinks and great food, as well as really cool management. Bartenders are friendly and prices aren't too bad.

Great band and music. Food was great as well. However, they didn't put in our food order until we asked them about the long wait 45 minutes after ordering. They said they'd give us the food for free since they never put in the order the first time. Fine, good with that no issues, still would give 5 stars. Now the reason it didn't get 5 stars.. is that by the end of the night, the bar my credit card was at had two bartenders who completely and blatenely ignored me. Served everyone at the bar and everyone who came up after me. I had to stop and yell at one to get them to stop ignoring me. I was going to order another drink. Would have gone back again too. But not after that.

I'm surprised this place only has three reviews. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because I HATE smelling like smoke when I go out. Every time I've come here I go home smelling like smoke. Yuck. But other than that, I am a fan of this place. The bartenders are friendly - Christy and Holly are great. They have two bars, which is always nice. They offer live music in one area. They also have pool tables! Good place to hangout!

This place should be at least 4 stars but.... I have mixed emotions about this place. I love the drinks, food and all the upgrades that they done since I started going here but they have to do something about the way they do tabs. Jason and Robert (owners) it's time to upgrade your system! I should have a $25 hold, plus a hold on everything I order PLUS pay my actual tab wait four days for them all to clear. My best advice for consumers is... BRING CASH!!!

We used to come here years ago and I recently visited again and it's in even better shape than it used to be. Super clean, safe and the food was amazing!

The best nights are at The Station! From their amazing specials, live performers, great DJs, 10+ flat screens, 2 pool tables, to even giant jinga! The Station Sports Bar and Grill is the place to be any day of the week!

Hi folks, I won a Gift Certificate to the Station Sports Bar last week. As I didn't feel like cooking I decided to go over there, with two friends and see what it was all about. We got there shortly after it opened, had seats at the bar and ordered some drinks. The Bloody Mary had just the right about of spice in it for me and looked as good as it tasted. We ordered onion rings, the Bubba Gump and the Catfish Gump. The food came with fries and hush puppies. The onion rings went fast, the shrimp was well fried, the hush puppies were crispy on the outside and moist in the center and the fries held up to ketchup well. As it was quiet we also had a chance to talk to our server and the manager. They were both really nice and informative. The best part is that I didn't use up all of the gift certificate and I now have a credit. It's good for another drink, so I know I'll go back, and as they say...a good time was had by all.

The staff were a little too friendly & the guy who said he was manager clearly had one drink too many. He was very generous in giving us free shots & when we didn't like the second one (a Jager-concoccion), he took 'em for himself! The background music consisted of Evanescence, Nickleback, Seether, etc & was very loud. Too loud. Inside, the place was fairly clean & orderly. LSU & other sports memorabilia throughout. They do have a full-service kitchen with standard pub-fare. We didn't order anything (not hungry at the time), but their kitchen is open late & probably does really well during game nights. All-in-all, The Station was not really my scene. I've been to many places that play loud jukebox music, which I am not opposed to at all. I just feel that the music was way too loud even by nightclub standards. I am not trying to persuade the Yelp public from checking this place out & if you like hard rock hits & Jagermeister, look no further. Otherwise, there's better places to go in BR.

This place grats your tab after you sign & does not charge what you signed for! I called them out & they are going to adjust what I signed for where I clearly tipped the bartender well & she still added 20% gratuity to my $20 & $40 tabs to get an extra tip. Watch your tabs & I wouldn't use credit cards period in this shit hole!

I was able to reserve the private side of The Station for my graduation party this weekend. The owners and staff were so accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed for my celebration. I can't recommend them more!

This bar is definitely a sports bar on you first impression. It is separated into two bars. The main bar is your traditional long bar that wraps around the corner with two pool tables and golden tee. Upon entrance if you turn right through some double doors is a performance based bar with high quality sound system and has more of a sports lounge feel. On Wednesday nights this space is used as a comedy showcase, while bringing in headliners from coast to coast and everywhere in between. Music follows the show to help you keep the fun going. The most impressive part of this bar is the beer selection. Every beer you could desire and some hard to find brands in this region such as New Belgium Fat Tire and Yuengling

Ok, heads up everyone... if you want to be treated well at this bar there's a prerequisite: You have to be friends with someone who works here. If you're not, you're basically a piece of trash not worthy of their time. You and your friends wanna try something new and different? "Let's go sing karaoke, omg we havent done that in ages!!!!"... no, honey... y'all may be able to sing ONE song... all the other spots are reserved for the friends of the karaoke gods to sing over and over again. Check yourself. You wanna get drinks in a normal timely manner? No B... be prepared to wait a good 10-15 mins because they only staff the bar with one girl on a busy wknd night. Makes sense, right? You wanna be treated with respect and dignity? LMFAO who tf do you think you are?!?! Mr. Station himself?? No but seriously, there's a bouncer (is he a bouncer?? I'm not sure... he's usually just walking around as a patron or singing). ANYWAY... there's a "bouncer" on a major power trip. Im warning you sis, do not look at him the wrong way... he'll kick your a** out real quick (that is, if he's actually at his post and not singing for the 3rd time). Honestly, this is my first yelp review and I'm obviously a disgruntled customer, but I've been to The Station MULTIPLE times... I've given them a lot of my hard earned money and I continue to ask myself "WHY B?!" They don't deserve my money and they don't deserve yours either my girl!!! If you're into BDSM or you're just curious to test your patience to the ultimate max this might be the place for you. Otherwise, stay away... wait til Covid's over (no one's wearing a mask anyway and everyone's spitting into the same karaoke mic). Maybe eventually they'll get off their high horses but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

I must preface this review with the fact that I am definitely not part of the target audience of this bar. I haven't been here many times but every time I have it's been an ordeal. Invariably, at one point you will bump into someone as you navigate the long narrow corridor to go to the restroom or to grab a drink. This bump will most likely result in you being verbally assaulted. This has happens to me every time I have come here, even times when it is their fault I was bumped into. If you are into sports memorabilia they do have this in spades. They also have a pretty decent burger and a huge chicken tender tray. Other than that I can't think of anything else positive to say. Your mileage may vary.

I have never in my life felt compelled to write a bad review, but this experience was so terrible and mind-blowing that I feel it is necessary. Staff was extremely rude and slow. I can understand being backed up and not being able to keep up, but to be outrageously rude whilst doing your JOB is sad. Staff talked over the intercom for 45 of the last 60 minutes the bar was open to yell at all customers over and over and over. They are clearly compensating for a lack of something in their lives. The superiority complex was 10/10 and very sad to watch. Screaming at full-fledged adults to get out (while they are trying to close their tabs!!!! And when the bar doesn't close for 40 more minutes!!!!!!) and threatening to "get the boys in blue to physically remove" my good friend who recently had knee surgery was so extremely unnecessary. The bar was fully decorated for Christmas and the staff destroyed the entire evening. QUIT your jobs if you hate them so much!!!!!!! Go to therapy!!!!

Wow so I went to this bar tonight. Unreal. No one was masked... then when I poked my head inside to tell my friend where I was sitting... someone yelled at ME for not wearing a mask!! I was the only one I saw at the bar all night wearing a mask. I brought over 10 friends with me last week and we were treated like heathens. I'm an attorney and my friends all carry professional jobs!! We were not misbehaving in the slightest. I worked in the service industry for more than 10 years before finishing school. The bar... wow oh wow. I have zero bad things to say about the actual bartenders Bc it was abundantly clear they have NOT been properly trained. There was a man who karaokeed the entire night! I swear he sang every other song: I thought this was an equal opportunity establishment but APPARENTLY NOT!! If zero stars were an options that is I would give. A man literally attacked my little brother!! In his face leaned over and would NOT BACK AWAY DURING A PANDEMIC. And they blamed it on my brother and our 15+ friends. I love Baton Rouge and I really truly do want to support local business, but if you actually care about your money, having a good time, and Baton Rouge, you would NOT support this business. PS, if the owner of this bar comes across the posting for any reason... and I truly hope you do because I know you want your bar to be a success... is the owner TRAVIS?? Bc the person who told me he was in charge (I asked for the owner's name and Travis told me it was him)... prayers for your bar, whoever owns it... idk if you know thenstate of your establishment? But y'all really need some help and I hope and pray it will work itself out.

Oh gosh! I just had the loveliest dinner here. My waiter was a beautiful girl named Alex who was just brilliant. The restaurant is trying to revamp itself and is working on creating new items for the menu. Ask for a speciality food item here. YOU WON'T REGRET IT. Love it.

Looking for refuge after a busy Thanksgiving, Bayou Classic, & Black Pride so I disappeared to my only 2nd visit to Baton Rouge. Excited about all thing this city offers, I began researching for new experiences on the Events page on Face Book for 11/29/17 . There were tons of choices but I chose The Station Sports Bar & Grill because it was offering Wednesday $6 Burger and Fries and A Live Open Mic Comedy Show @ 6 p.m. My friend & I entered this very neatly decorated sports bar that was practically empty but it was early. We sat down and was greeted by Bartender Briesa( appeared to be Latino), I asked her did she have any Specials 2nite. She went to the back and ask some one else then returned saying "no special 2nite. So we ordered drinks while stroll thru my phone to pull up the Events Post that persuaded me to visit. I assume since we were black she thought we would walk out because she said" no specials 2nite" I showed her the FB event post, then she says " oh ok, wud u like that, the drinks you ordered are already included in the special. A minute later a white guy came in and she recited the exact specials I had to asked her about. WoooooW. Then 2 other young lady Bartenders[white] employees came in to work They were super nice, friendly , fun and professional. They suggested beers that they allowed us to sample. After Briesa so the way things young ladies were treating us she began trying to do the same[ too late]. we orded the $6 Burger & Fries Special and 2 more of the drink specials. The Burgers were huge,tasty, very juicy well seasoned. We attended the Open Mic Comedy Show later that night at 8 p.m. The host and the comedians were Very Friendly & Funny. I will definitely will visit the Bar again despite Briesa's actions.

Wings and fries are good. Tuesday nights they have a live DJ. DjPk1 was everything the other nite!

Love this bar! Great selection of draft beers and always filled with personalities! Oh, and it's CLEAN!

Love this place, been coming since '98 and have never stopped!!! Great drink prices and the best value on bar food in town!!!
