Genuinely best steak I’ve ever had and I have enjoyed some of the best steak houses you can find in Texas. The steak was cooked to perfection with a garlic butter baste on top. I unfortunately can’t remember the name of the 3 cheese sauce the chef made but it pairs great with the steak and mashed potatoes. Had to give compliments to the chef before leaving. Great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Don’t let the store front fool you, this place is delicious!

I had the filet mignon with lobster and bernaise sauce. It was absolutely delicious! My husband had the NY strip and loved every bite. The service was wonderful. They had a couple playing music but it was so soft that you could have a dinner conversation and enjoy the music! Excellent experience!

We had an amazing meal!! I had filet medallions with bearnaise sauce topped with butter poached lobster served with garlic mashed and green beans. The filet was so tender and cooked to perfection!! My son had the ribeye ...such a delicious crust on top and so flavorful. I'm so happy we were able to get reservations ❤️

Love, love, love the atmosphere. Our server was also really good. My Moscow Mule was really strong and delicious. I was not too impressed with the steaks. The mash potatoes my husband had were a little funky tasting, like sweet. My roast potatoes were good, could have had more taste to them. Neither one of us were impressed with the steak, especially for the price.

Celebrated our birthdays here with friends, a party of 10. Food was delicious, service was great. A little gem we found locally. Prices are phenomenal for the steaks which includes starch, vegetables, and choice of Caesar or regular salad. Beats other steakhouses that charge higher prices. Their pasta and food portions were amazing. Will definitely return.

Near Tybee island and Savannah- this location is convenient to both areas. The service and decor were okay. The food itself was good, but not great. The ribeye was cooked and seasoned well. The dessert was pretty tasty also. Unfortunately the green beans and ceaser salad were not very good. This location is setup for dates and a bar, so may not be for the kiddos. The live music was a nice touch.

My husband and I went a couple of weeks ago for anniversary/birthday celebration dinner. The service was good, the hostess gracious. The food, unfortunately, was just okay. I got the "steakhouse mac n cheese" as a special side. It didn't look very appetizing on the plate and was very dry. It wasn't horrible; but neither of our plates warranted a "wow" photo for sure. I got chicken and he got steak. Our meals were okay, but not noteworthy. I must say that I was a little disappointed at the difference in the food quality/visual appeal from our last visit (about a year ago). Also, unfortunately we chose an evening with no live music, which we had been looking forward to, as the lady who provides it is quite good. Overall, I would say it's just okay. That same day we had brunch at another local eatery and that experience far surpassed our dinner experience here.

Get the special !! Eye of ribeye . When I tell you that is the best steak I’ve ever had I’m not joking and I’m a foodie . I’ve been everywhere in Savannah , Hilton Head . Everywhere !! I had the filet very good my husband had the special Eye of ribeye . That is a cut I would highly recommend! The grissle is gone and all your left with is flavor and bite of a filet . Only 4$ more so good

If you want a local lively restaurant experience the Steakhouse is great. A funky and eclectic small restaurant that serves great food. Our shrimp appetizer came with four jumbo(2-bites each) shrimp chilled with a lemon wedge and homemade cocktail sauce. We each had a salad, Caesar for me and house with blue cheese dressing. The croutons -a mark of a great salad were a nice delicate seasoned crunch. Not jaw breakers! We ordered two glasses of a red French Bordeaux blend and they were served in large red wine glasses with nice pours. The wine was delicious and perfect with steak. If you want steaks cooked well done, get the seafood! Steaks are cooked in an 1800 degree char oven, so medium is the most it can cook inside. I ordered the NY Strip medium. Oh so good. I love my steak with a good char and ribbon of red in the center. - Perfect! The seafood trio (salmon filet, grilled shrimp, & 1/2 lobster tail) was delicious and a plate full. The sides are standard fare. Potato either creamed or roasted and green beans. We finished this fine meal splitting a generous slice of Tuxedo cake. The chocolate cake was moist, kept that way by the mousse filling. Divine. Our server was polite and explained dishes we will try on the next visit. Hope they have the Bourbon smoked Bacon appetizer next time I'm there. We were not rushed and we loved the 70's music. We were there fairly early and the restaurant filled up fast by the time we finished. For this four course meal with a glass of wine each and tip we spent $200.00. We don't mind paying well for great food and great service. We will definitely be back. Glad we found The Steakhouse on Whitemarsh. Recommend!

We treated ourselves to this place and I am so happy we did! The entire night was perfect! To start we had "great ass bacon" which was amazing! I had the lemon drop martini and my date had an Old Fashioned which both were delicious! For my main dish, I had a surf and turf with two lobster tails and a new York strip everything was absolutely mouthwatering! Chris the owner has done a wonderful job and I can't wait to go back!

This is a classic! Take friends and family here for a great steak,it's that simple. It's not fancy with a traditional menu. Just like the one mom and dad took you to. We had ribeye and a slightly fancier eye of ribeye all cooked to our perfect temperature! All at significantly less $$ than a downtown steakhouse! See you there!

Heard do many nice things about this place. My side salad has 1.5 pieces of Ramain lettuce on a very small plate. Orderd the Salmon topped ofc with lobster. My salmon had a wet red substance that looked like a small mound of caviar. The restaurant has pieces of decorations that looked like nothing but dust catchers. The very old private standing in the corner for example. The floor was constructed in concrete. Nothing nice about this dump. I would have said something about my meal but I was with my husband who was paying. Didn't want to drag him into the drama. What a waste. Zero ambiance.

Arrived at 5:18 and we're only offered bar seats. Fast forward no one was still at the tables we would have loved to be offed when we left. Wasn't really feeling the hospitality initially. We ordered the Bruschetta; tomato's were fresh.. bread not so much. Caesar was ok. Then out came the chargrilled ribeye cooked to a perfect medium rare with mashed potato's and green beans. There was an outstanding char on the steak. It was absolutely worth bar seat's plus our bartender was super nice. We will be back to sample the prime rib for sure. Based on being made to eat at the bar we will defiantly try to call ahead next time to be sat at a proper table to spread out and enjoy dinner. Thank you for having us.

Wonderful staff and the food is sensational. Classic and actually one of the more healthy restaurants we have found on the Islands. Wish they would move to a water view and upscale the place. I miss dining out at upscale beach locations and do not know why there are none on the Islands off of Savannah.

Ambience is not a typical steakhouse one but is calm and warm. The service was impeccable. The food came out just as we requested. The sides were deliciously prepared. And the steak was a 10 out of 10 with flavor, requested doneness and physical appearance. I would say the steak was the best! Great flavor!! Thanks for KISS!!!

Discovered this place by accident and it has become my favorite place! Wonderful food, great drinks, delicious homemade desserts, the staff is all very friendly and welcoming, service has always been excellent and the ambiance is perfect to allow for conversation and enjoyment of an excellent meal with friends or family!

this place was very classless, with horrible management , poor customer service. First i would like to start out with when me and my company walked in we werent greeted we were starred at thankfully we had a reservation. our server wasn't bad but we could tell she was either new or unfamiliar with knowledge of the menu. I order the lobster dip appetizer (that was delicious, while I'm being honest.) It was served hot and the wait wasnt too long. I ordered the penne alla vodka with steak added. The server asked me HOW DID I WANT MY STEAK COOKED? And I ordered it MEDIUM WELL. She never stated when ordering this dish that all meats are served medium RARE!! Neither is it stated on the menu. when I received my dish my meat was undercooked red and pink!! When I specifically asked for MEDIUM WELL which should have been very thin slightly pink center NOT RAW UNDERCOOKED!! I spoke with my waitress informing her I wasn't pleased then she told me , the meats are prepared medium rare in pasta dishes I asked the server to show me where was that stated on the menu because if I knew that I wouldn't have ordered that. And it needs to be put on the menu if that's the case, to for warn customers that they don't have a choice on how their steak will be cooked,it will be served medium rare! The waitress attempted to accommodate me, she asked did I want a different entree, or what would I like done about the situation. I did like the penne alla vodka but I would of liked for my meat to be cooked longer, the waitress proceeded to say when pasta dishes are made at that restaurant the meats are cooked medium rare... well why would the waitress ask me how would I liked my steak cooked if it was going to be served to me how ever the recipe or restaurant calls for,not what the customer requested and has to pay for! I then told her I would like another steak to be cooked well done. The lady manager came to the table with no compassion or remorse for the issue at hand. She advised she would take the meat off my plate and take it back into the kitchen to be cooked more, that is unsanitary. She then told me well you have a Togo box you can take it with you. I will not pay for something that wasnt properly cooked correctly nor was it cooked to my liking as asked when the order was put in. My total came to $67 .and some change I politely deducted the $12.95 for the steak I was charged for and left the other $53 on the table along with the under cooked meat and the pasta penne. I proceed to call the police because the environment became hostile and I was scared for my life. The police never showed and when I called back 911 dispatch told me it would be a second for an officer to come I told them I was leaving because I was afraid and being harassed by the staff and management I called the police for HELP and that's just crazy how law enforcement never showed up to help come to a conclusion or to deescalate the situation. The entire staff followed me out the door unprofessionally while it still was other customers in the restaurant. They were screaming and yelling as If I walked out on my ticket and I didn't! I had already told the manger I wasn't paying for their mistake and would gladly pay for everything else. They proceed to get my tag number and yell and be GHETTO in the parking lot. This place seems to be racist from the start!! I tried to be a great guest but the poor management and lack of customer service skills made my experience horrible. This place was very tasteless and seems like the only way you would get good service and treat properly is if you are Caucasian. That experience was embarrassing and I hope no one else has to experience anything like this

Visiting Savannah for a night with two adult sons. We were looking for a good steak at a locally owned, non-chain establishment. We struck gold with Chris McGary's steak house. Loved the tomahawk ribeye special! Excellent flavor NY Strip with sautéed onion and mushroom toping. Excellent prices with salad and sides included. Chris accommodated our late arrival and we still caught a few tunes from a live performer.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at The Steakhouse tonight. My family and friends went there with high expectations, but the evening was marred by poor food quality and atrocious service. One of our friends ordered the lamb chops, which arrived raw in the center. After sending it back, it returned still uncooked. He then requested a medium-rare filet (pictured below) which was also raw inside upon arrival. Despite multiple attempts to try to get them to thoroughly cook it, each dish came out undercooked. To make matters worse, when we asked for the meal to be removed from the bill, they refused. after stating that we will not be dining there anymore, the owner's wife told us, "we won't miss you." This place clearly has no regard for customer satisfaction or quality control. I would strongly advise against dining here.

I enjoyed the ambiance of The Steakhouse. My friend I split the Ribeye and Salmon! We enjoyed both entrees and the service! The meals were well prepared, hot and tasty! I would definitely return!

This is a The Best kept Secret!!! Charisse owner meets and greets you very welcoming. Steaks are reasonably priced!! Excellent quality!! Master chef Chris, owner cooks them perfectly!! Menu has something for everyone: Steaks, pasta, shrimp and salmon!! Appetizers are always fresh and delicious. The Lobster Bruschetta is an excellent way to start your dinner!! It is excellent. They have an Extensive wine list also reasonably priced!! This is a local place and very low key. the entire staff is wonderful!! Justin mixes the best cocktails and carves the Huge Tomahawk steaks cooked to your liking!!! Sara and Pam always serves you with a huge smile!! Excellent service!! Entertainment on Thursdays nights through the weekend. A fantastic guitarist Annie Altman Acoustic music throughout the night!! Give this place a 5 star review!!!

Terrible experience. We ordered lamb and it came out raw. We sent it back and it again came back raw. We sent it back a third time and opted for the filet. It also came back raw. We complained again. Chris the owner and I assume his wife took a very defensive stance. No compensation on our meal...She had the audacity to say "oh honey we won't miss you if you all never come back". I this Chris and his wife need to take lessons from Chick fil A servers. McDonald's employees have a better attitude. I will never recommend this place to anyone again!

Located between a burger place and a BBQ restaurant, The Steakhouse can be accused of hiding in plain sight in this unassuming strip mall. On the night of my visit, they offered a choice of three steaks (filet, ribeye and sirloin) with all the trimmings (choice of salad and side items) for under thirty dollars. We dined here on a Saturday night and were welcomed with the wonderful live music of guitarist Annie Allman. Service was impeccable, and I ordered the fourteen ounce ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted corn. The steak was cooked perfectly, and seasoning on all of the items was amazing with no need to add any salt or pepper. Without a doubt, this steakhouse ranks in the top two of all I have ever visited. The are closed on Monday and Tuesday, and reservations are highly encouraged. The meal was amazing and I look forward to many return visits in the future.

Oh, my! A reasonably priced and perfectly prepared steak! This place looks like absolutely NOTHING from the outside, but don't be fooled. Ambiance okay, staff knowledgeable and efficient, but aren't "in-your-face" nor do they give you the bum's rush. Food is fantastic. If you're looking for a menu with range, you probably don't want to go here, but assuming you want steak (why else would you be going to a place named "The Steakhouse?"), you should absolutely give it a try.

We came on a Friday night with reservations. The hostess greeted us, but left a lingering of cigarette smoke with her "hello". This was a turnoff. The server was very nice and informative about the menu. Compared to many restaurants in the downtown Savannah tourist area, the prices are very fair, however, in one case, the prime rib came with a very large lump of fat on the top of the meat that should have been removed by the chef before serving. The Caesar salad had crunchy pieces of Parmesan which were interesting, and seemed to replace croutons since there was none in my salad and few in others. Also the dressing tasted more like bottled Caesar dressing. There was a musician who played guitar had a nice selection of recognizable tunes however, at times the levels were too loud. Overall, the evening was great company but not exceptional food. Good luck. Restaurants in the area are closing right and left so we would like to see you stay.

By far the best Ribeye I have ever eaten, charred on the outside and a perfect medium rare on the inside. The service was awesome as well. Would definitely recommend.

Got here at exactly 5pm, when they opened, and within five minutes half the dining room was full, which was stunning, I've never seen such a visible display of local popularity. Once I got my food I fully understood why, too - everything was incredible. I had a ribeye (the remaining half of which is currently in my fridge calling to me), and the curry shrimp appetizer, and my husband had penna a la vodka and steak bruschetta, and then we split a slice of classic cheesecake for dessert. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful, I have no complaints whatsoever. The cocktail menu was practically laser-targeted at me, too - I had a rosemary gin martini with my dinner and a black raspberry chocolate martini with my dessert. I commented to my husband, as I was drinking the latter, that this is in fact the precise thing I'm constantly trying to manufacture at home with various chocolate liquors and fruit wines and dairy products, and which I almost NEVER see at restaurants because everyone seems to prefer fruity cocktails (not that there's anything wrong with that! I love that sort of thing too!) and it beat all my attempts handily. A thousand compliments to the bartender on that one.

The Steakhouse is a well kept Savannah secret - until now. It's hidden by the fact it's in a well worn, unassuming strip shopping center. Last Thursday, we arrived at opening time, and The Steakhouse was already booked for the evening. Upon arrival tonight, at 5:00 pm, only bar seating was available. This unadvertised restaurant opened about a year ago, it's a small restaurant and Covid social distancing is respected. Another highlight of The Steakhouse is the live entertainment. Annie Allman plays here Thursday - Saturday, 6-9, and each Thursday is wine tasting night. Make reservations! I was thrilled to see they had several Manhattan cocktail choices. I said "yes, please" to the Woodford Reserve, Cherry Street Manhattan. Cheers! The three steak entrees here include a choice of salad, potato, and vegetable. My filet was seasoned and cooked perfectly medium as requested, $26.95. The House salad with balsamic was fresh and crisp, and the add on request of crumbled blue cheese - no problem! The mashed potatoes were delicious, and the fresh, vibrant green beans were cooked crisp tender. We will return!

The tomahawk steak we ordered was rare even though we ordered it medium. Jerry our waiter felt it was acceptable to make a sexual joke at our table to my girlfriend. When my gf said the steak was " too small" he looked down and said something about how he just met her. Implying his genitals were too small. They did offer to cook the steak to a medium like we asked originally after it was cut and all the juices drained. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere with professional staff and a cook who knows the difference between raw and medium.

Simple and truthful review. I went way in-depth on google reviews. Absolutely the best steak restaurant in the south east. The place is amazing. The value is unbeatable and the food is amazing. This place will become a food land mark! We went with two other couples and every one was impressed with the quality, service and the experience. This is a hidden gem and you will not be disappointed.

Are you looking for a great meal away from all the bustling of downtown Savannah? Take the drive which is a quick 20 minutes from downtown Savannah and don't be taken aback to discover that the place is located in a small strip mall. Sometimes they have live music and other events such as wine tastings. The service is attentive, the wine prices are unbelievably reasonable, and the food is very good and flavorful. Menu is not a long laundry list of options rather they offer reduced options that they do well especially their steaks. One point to note is that they close early.

The Steakhouse on Whitmarsh is BY FAR our favorite steakhouse we've found in the Savannah area! The staff is very nice and they have live music every Saturday! My favorite thing to order is the Caesar salad with steak and the penne alla vodka. Their Caesar dressing is delicious and creamy, and they top the salad with Parmesan crisps instead of croutons. The penne alla vodka is the perfect consistency creaminess and I like to top it with crushed red pepper to give it a little kick! We tried the desserts for the first time recently and the peanut butter cheesecake was TO DIE FOR! I really appreciate that they actually give you a real slice instead of a small sliver like many restaurants do now a days.

Guys. We came here bc of the reviews. I feel like we've been "botted". The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived(after reading that it's so packed you need reservations) Our apps were not great: curry shrimp and bruschetta. We all ordered steaks- all 6 of us. We ordered medium. They were MUCH less cooked than medium. My brother's steak was purple in the center. My scalloped potatoes were not good. I make those for Christmas Eve dinner and mine are WAY better (Thanks to the Pioneer Woman). We rely on Yelp to find new, yummy places. This is NOT it. I don't think I've ever written a bad review, but here we are. Please do NOT "drive from SAV" to this restaurant. I should give it 0 stars but that's mean.

Avoid the steaks, the 14 ounce ribeye appeared to be about the thickness of a breakfast steak, at best a 10 ounce steak.

Trying to be a good steakhouse at neighborhood prices. Ribeye was so thin it was impossible to make medrare. Waitress agreed and took it back replaced with a filet. II make much better steak at home. Wife's spaghetti dish was awful with flavorless sauce. Service was great. Nice bar with healthy wine pour.

I keep this spot in my regular rotation. The food is fantastic.. from the steaks that are cooked to perfection.. to the assorted pasta dishes. The shrimp in the scampi are always big and fresh. The service is second to none.. every time. I'd highly recommend trying to catch Annie there playing guitar

We enjoyed a special anniversary dinner last night. We discovered the Steakhouse a couple months ago and have enjoyed dinner several times. On weekends, they have a fabulous musician playing familiar tunes softly. Last night, we both wanted something other than steak. I had the salmon and he had a spicy shrimp pasta dish. Both were excellent. The starter was filet mignon bruschetta which was so fresh and delicious. On previous visits, we've enjoyed their steaks--rib eye, New York and Filet, all expertly seared and cooked to perfection. Last night, the chef came by our table to congratulate us for our anniversary, which was a personal touch.

We have been here many times. The food is excellent & the service is great. And the owner is always available & welcoming. I enjoy listening to the woman playing guitar. I also like that their menu is not huge, and every dish on it is well we'll seasoned & never bland. I look forward to going there tonight.

What a wonderful "Island Gem"! The atmosphere, service, music, and food were absolutely WONDERFUL! It was truly a most special dining experience. How glad we are to have such a great choice right out our back door. Annie Allmon's music helps make the evening even more enjoyable!

Each year, my supervisor takes the leadership staff out for dinner during the Christmas Holiday. This is an evening where work is left behind and we could unwind and enjoy a nice evening out . This year, The Steakhouse on Whitmarsh Island was the restaurant of choice. When we arrived, our table was set and ready for us. While we waited for our entrees, we talked and were enjoying ourselves while listening to the live entertainment. When the entrees were served, 5 of the steak orders and 1 chicken order were over cooked. The wife of the owner came to the table and stated that our table was the only table that had an issue with the food that was served. She went on to say that they had lost money with our table, the food was cooked "spot on", and they would not be made over. She proceeded to tell us to leave the restaurant. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant in my life. As I was leaving the restaurant, it dawned on me that the only Black people in the restaurant was at our table. Everyone from the musicians, wait staff, kitchen help and greeter were all White. At that very moment, I realized that the issue was not that we wanted our food to be prepared correctly but, they did not want any Black Patrons in their establishment. In the year 2023 and after having a Black US President, Black people are still considered to be second class citizens and do not deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. It would have been better for them to place a sign in the window, "No Blacks Allowed" as opposed to allowing us to come into their establishment and treat us in such a manner to let us know that we are not wanted.

Reservations are a must, which we had. If you make 5:00 pm reservations, wait in the car if you come early. They don't open the door until 5:00. The steaks were good, nicely seasoned and well priced. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and the corn in the vegetable medley did not taste fresh. The service was pleasant, but slow. We didn't try the desserts. However, cocktails were reasonably priced under $10! A good value for a quality steak meal.

To go steaks usually don't turn out well but this ribeye was an exception. Great job cooking to temperature and they add a little seasoning that you can taste.

Tonight my wife and I along with 2 other couples ate here and the meal and the service was 5 Stars. There was not one issue with anything. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. The live music provided by Anne Allman was outstanding. My wife and I will be back.

I've been coming to The Steakhouse for years, especially for special occasions, not only for the food but to hear Annie Allman perform her magic jazz guitar sets. My visit came to a screeching halt the other night. As usual, the restaurant was serving just one choice of "vegetable" that night, which was snow peas, technically not a vegetable but a legume. I am allergic to nuts and legumes. Because mushrooms were listed as a steak topping choice on the menu, I asked if I could substitute the mushrooms for the vegetable. The waitress said, "No, we don't do that." "Even though it's on the menu?" I asked. "I've never heard of anyone being allergic to vegetables," she replied, escalating my allergy to a broad category, a common technique when one is debating and trying to make the opposing side look ridiculous. I didn't realize I was in a debate: I just came to celebrate my 70th birthday and be grateful that I could while I am undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. "Actually, snow peas are not a vegetable, but a legume," I replied, ignoring her efforts to be oppositional. "I'm allergic to nuts and legumes." "We can't accommodate people just because they don't like the vegetable," she said. "We can give you extra potatoes. We like to keep things simple." " Simple for you, but not for the customer. It's not that I don't like it: I'm allergic," I said. Understand that my dining partner was perfectly willing to pay extra for the substitution, but making an exception to the rule seemed to be the issue for the server. My friend then said, "May I speak to the owner or manager?" The server said, "I AM the owner!" raising her voice. I didn't believe her, but said nothing. I later thought she might have been telling the truth because if she WAS a server and not the owner, she probably would have been fired long before. When my friend and I hesitated for just a few seconds, the server then said, "So, are you staying, or are you leaving?" We left, but not before giving Miss Alman a generous tip and explaining why we were leaving on the way out. We shall NEVER return. As any good customer service instructor (I am one) will tell you, satisfied customers tend to say nothing, but dissatisfied customers tell at least 100 people. I think I can exceed that average. Sneaky little out of the way "locals" joint. Owner goes table to table to check on things. Very respectable gentleman. Its in a strip mall, but don't let that scare you. Nice vibe; from the moment you walk in, you know its gonna be good. Reasonably priced.

Excellent food and service! The steakhouse is a great place for a nice dining experience. We started with a glass of delicious wine, which we chose from a wide selection of offerings. My husband ordered the ribeye, which was cooked perfectly and was extremely tender and flavorful. My salmon bernaise was delicious, also. The salad was fresh with excellent dressings. We are looking forward to returning on Friday or Saturday nights when they have live dinner music. Nice neighborhood feel!

We looked up a great rated steakhouse and discovered this gem! The service was attentive. The steaks were some of the best all in my group could remember. I have eaten at all the big name steak houses, they do not compare the my experience here. I will be back!!

Save your money and go elsewhere. Hostess (Co-Owner?) was rude and food was underwhelming. Staff was trying to support the guests the best they could - perhaps understaffed.

This place was wonderful. I am a real steak critic and I was very impressed. The steak was cooked perfect and the price was very reasonable. One of the best steaks I have ever had!!

FYI. Had a reservation. Arrived 12 min late. Hostess informed us she gave the table away in accordance with their rules. She stated they hold the table for 15 min. She showed us the time on her iPad which was clearly before 15 min. We stated we were in the 15 min window she kept insisting the rule is all over their website but we were there before 15 min timeout. Not good especially since they don't take walk ins anymore so who did she give the table away to???? Unfortunately not worth hassling with her. We won't be back & we're locals.

A solid inexpensive place to go for a tasty steak. Pros: Steaks are great, good size, cooked properly (Prime Rib was awesome) Service was fast, server was attentive and nice Appetizers were good as well Cocktail I had was good and strong, and nicely priced Sides and salad come with your steak, not separately priced! PRICE! Less than half what you would pay at a good steakhouse in town! Cons (why one star taken off) Very limited selection of sides- the night we went they had a mushy steamed broccoli and 2 possible potato sides. Meh, they need to step up their game a bit here Not much ambience, it is a box space in a strip mall, so there is where you are saving. Don't expect to impress a date with the decor or view Desserts also just ok All that being said, you get a nice steak plus salad and sides for a price that would be hard to beat buying it all at the store and cooking it yourself. Can't beat that these days!

Awful. We went with a party of five for my husbands birthday and we're so sorry! Spent $200 for three of us and it was a waste of money. Husband got the ribeye, ordered medium, and it was charred to a crisp. My dad ordered end cut prime rib and granted prime rib is redder but this was literally raw. The center was cold. He took it home to recook himself. I am not a steak person so I got the "homemade vodka sauce" pasta. The dish was cold and the sauce was basically strong tasting tomato paste dumped on pasta. Lumpy and congealed. Our friends intensely disliked their meals as well. The wine was watery and clearly not what I had ordered. The staff was incredibly slow, it took forever for us to be able to order. Thankfully we had a reservation so were sEated quickly. Others who came stood around for a good 20 minutes with not so much as a nod of recognition that they were waiting. So, so disappointed! We won't be back and definitely will never recommend.

Wow what a gem of a place. We were tired of all the hustle and bustle of downtown Savannah and decided to try this place. We had a great meal and met the owner Chris. His background in high end steak restaurants was apparent by his steaks wine and service. It's worth the drive out of the city to dine at this place. It's not fancy but very good meal for the money. Best of luck to Chris and his team.

Stopped in for dinner and had a great meal. Our waitress Sarah was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The dishes were delicious as were the cocktail recommendations.
