"This ode to the hot dog features the pushcart variety with onions in tomato sauce, sauerkraut, and spicy house mustard; the Windy City with tomato, dill pickle, diced onions, sport peppers, neon relish, celery salt and yellow mustard; and the Nor’wester in cream cheese, griddled onions, scallions, fresh jalapeño peppers, and Sriracha. Even two vegan varieties make the menu. Everything here rings in under $8." - Janna Karel

Google
This is a friendly place. Hot dogs are their main thing and there's plenty of varieties. Choose the Maxwell Street $6.95 before tax, the Polish sausage was good with the grilled onions and sport peppers. The bun was not warm.

Google
We were craving hot dogs and found the Steamie Weenie from a Google search. The pictures looked wonderful. While the food was good, it wasn't anything great or spectacular. The hot dogs are big and had good flavor, but the toppings were lackluster. The overall idea and menu items seemed great, I just don't feel they all came together. The walls of the restaurant were dirty and the music was loud and obnoxious.

Delish. Had Windy City ,Mac & Cheese dog with loaded Tater Tots. Amazing...Highly recommend

Google
This is my second day in a row coming here and I love it. The service and food are both amazing. They have a variety of hot dogs, sides, and drink to choose from. It’s also fairly inexpensive. It you haven’t been yet, give them a try.

Google
What a great find. If you like a quality dog. Then look no further. I got a Windy City, aka Chicago Dog. It was fantastic, made to order and served with a smile. Only one employee, but he was helpful, courteous and friendly. Everything about the place was nice from the cartoonist decor to the outstanding dogs. The only complaint I have is the yuppy names and buns out of the bag. It takes reading descriptions to figure out traditional dog names. The buns are neither steamed or toasted on a grill. A little disappointing for a top notch dog joint. Don't let that keep you from trying the place out though. Oh, they have a great selection of old school sodas.

Google
My wife and I went on a hot date!! We wanted to try something new. The name set the mood for the entire night😉. We found the Steamie Weenie!! I got the brisket hot dog. My wife got the elote hot dog. I loved my option until I tried my wife's. Her weiner was better than mine😞. We shared the weenies and enjoyed it.😳 we will be back. Well done!!

Google
We loved everything we ordered! The house Steamie sauce was excellent. We ordered the Salchipapas, a Jalapeno Popper, the Mac & Cheese and Cheese, fried pickles (because always order the fried pickles), and a bacon wrapped dog with bbq sauce, cheese and crunchy onions. We also grabbed two of their specialty sodas which we enjoyed also. The menu is a lot of fun and we look forward to trying several more items.

Yelp
Love this place! We go to The Steamie Weenie about 2-3 times per month. They have a great menu, and their monthly specials are crazy good. Last week, it was SuperBowl time... my husband had the Kansas City (complete with pulled pork & BBQ sauce) and I had the Philly (with grilled peppers and onions, steak and including cheese whiz and beer cheese sauce, all well balanced and oh so delicious! Sometimes... you just gotta have a dog. You can't go wrong with The Steamie Weenie... a cute place run by wonderful people.

Chris V.

Yelp
You wouldn't believe how many people are eating dogs here. The Steamie Weenie is a longtime neighbor of a bunch of chains at the corner of Green Valley and Pebble. I was able to try them out way back when at a Yelp Party event but never got around to visiting their actual store until today. Their menu does let you customize your own hot dog, with 6 meat and 2 vegan protein options. If you're a little lazy like me though, you may prefer trying out one of 15+ preset recipes, ranging from the traditional to the borderline weird. I figured that I should revisit the PBB & JJ ($6.95) which I tasted before and actually liked. It's much better than it sounds, although the effect is kinda like you're eating a sweet sandwich with a juicy savory dog. The peanut butter (PB) comes as a small ribbon but can be tasted in every bite. The bacon (B) wasn't that memorable here, to be frank. The jalapeño jelly (JJ) is like a sweet pickle relish, but not as sour. I also tried the limited-time Elote Dog ($7.95). The bacon was crisper on this second dog for some reason, and the dog was pretty hot when I bit into it. The fire-roasted corn bits were fun, and I happen to enjoy corn a lot. My only issue is that the cheese may have been it a tad bit salty, which a squeeze of the included lime wedge did help with somewhat. Service was friendly and the food was prepped quickly, so this is a good fast lunch option. Music is pretty quiet so the overall volume never got too high even when a group came in. The Steamie Weenie is a fun Henderson spot that can easily fulfill your hot dog cravings on a short lunch break. Check them out if you're in the area!

Yelp
We were over at this shopping center because my husband's cousin wanted to go check out some stuff and my husband noticed the steamie weenie and he's like I'm in the mood for a hotdog. Let's go see what this place is about. so we walked over there and was pleasantly surprised. It's a cute little shop With various offerings of hotdogs, bacon wrapped and with all different kinds of toppings he got the Chicago style dog and I got the Elote dog with elote on top of a bacon wrapped hotdog. It was delicious. I'm sure we'll be back again. Whenever we're in the mood for a hotdog, it's close and it's probably the best hotdog place in Henderson in my opinion. It's really cute inside with a lot of cute decor, easy to read menu and the service was great. The Guy was so nice and answered all my questions and we had a nice conversation. We'll definitely be back. My husband really enjoyed thought it was fantastic.

Yelp
I'm starting my cleanse tomorrow. For my "last meal", I chose Steamie Weenie, of course! I ordered the Maxwell St (my usual) and it was exploding with flavor! If looking at the pic doesn't make you drool, you probably aren't hungry! I love to support family owned business and this place never disappoints!

Jocelyn C.

Yelp
Very nice place. What got me to come here, is that they do a lot of promoting on Instagram . Those are the type of things I like, and would definitely stop by for. It was National Hot Dog day when I saw them promote, and I chose them to try out! Very nice decorations outside to tell people what they were promoting & came in with friendly staff. They helped me & husband with menu, because it was hard to choose! Everything looked amazing. They had a deal for NHD & we got chili cheese dogs & fries. Yum! The buns alone looked very good quality, so eating the chili cheese dogs weren't as messy! The flavor was there & is very satisfied with what we chose. We definitely will come back again soon & try other stuff!!

Derek B.

Yelp
This was my first time trying The Steamie Weenie. Overall, the restaurant is pretty cool looking inside although a little small. The majority of the seating is 2 table top seats but there is a table or 2 that can hold 4 people. My favorite dish was the buffalo fries. It is crinkle cut fires with buffalo sauce, blue cheese crumbles, onions and ranch dressings. Very delicious but be sure to enjoy them with a fork! As for the hotdogs, they were good and pretty creative. The savage was the dog that enjoyed with grilled onions, bleu cheese, bacon and ranch dressings. It was good. The only complaint was how slow the services was and honestly, the price seems a little high for hot dog and French fries. I would recommend The Steamie Weenie but maybe temper your expectations.

Yelp
Small hole in the wall. Clean. Bright decor, with no frills. High quality dogs with extremely creative toppings for all ages. Delicious, appropriately priced. Fun retro soda bottles. Something for all ages. Quick cheap high quality well thought out dogs and snacks. Been consistent every visit. Polite, straight forward service.

Yelp
I was expecting something like Pink's Hot Dogs but it's nowhere close. I'm also a fan of Vienna Franks but this place serves Ocala Meyer which I'm not a fan of. It's not bad if you need a fancy dog but nothing.near.

Yelp
A little closer to the South Side of Vegas, we did a surprise wheel on Yelp and landed on this hot diggity dog place. The ambiance is very chill and quiet. I originally thought it was closed because both the "open" and the hotdog neon sign were off. It was fairly empty as well. But it was open. I notified the person at the register...but he didn't do much. The service was okay. I wouldn't say it was anything special (but I always tip; no matter what) I get it was a Sunday afternoon and it was empty. The menu is nice and large as soon as you walk in. At the register they have their weekly special. Here is what we got: 1. Elote Dog: I love the bacon wrapped dog with a squeeze of lime. The lime and corn were delish. The dog had a good snap, but a part was slightly not warm. 2. Beef Brisket Dog: the dog was a nice snap. The grilled onions were flavorless. The cheddar cheese wasn't really melted so it just fell off to the side. 3. Loaded Potato Tots: The tots had a great crunch. However I disliked the beer cheese; it tasted kind of artificial and it wasn't my favorite With tax and tip for 3 items it was $30 and unfortunately was just a bit of a miss for us due to price point. I would definitely come back for the Elote dog but that's about it. Overall rating 2.5/5.0 stars!

Mark B.

Yelp
Went with the family for lunch. Small operation with a limited hot dog and potatoes menu. Everything is done well!! The bacon-wrapped hot dogs are juicy, the toppings are fresh, the loaded tater tots were awesome! Will be back next time we visit Vegas!

Vegas C.

Yelp
Very high quality hotdogs! Gourmet tasting and fresh ingredients, definitely yummy! Didn't have to wait long, came out fast! Got the Windy City and wife got the mac n cheese dog! Great ambiance!

Joyce T.

Yelp
The fifth star is for the friendly lady that welcomed us in and created our hot-dog selections. And, she was able to make me an off-the-menu cup of chili. Topped with chopped onions and cheese, too! The murals go well with the happy theme of a hot dog joint with the name weenie in it! Also, they have a great condiment selection. I took my order and walked to Lovelady and ate it there. Hot dogs and craft beer go good together!

Michelle A.

Yelp
I think that Steamie Weenie is ok. They're hot dogs are bit too chewy for my liking, I know these ones have skin got dogs but still it was hard for me to get through the dog itself. I personally like Great Links better so many great options and they have skinless dogs of that's what you prefer. Seating here is not ideal especially if you have a large family or someone that is handicapped because basically all of their tables available are high tops. The guys at the front were nice, but I recommend Great Links if you want a great hot dog, sausage, cheesesteak, Reuben, and abundance of different fries. But I will come here when I have to because I don't wanna drive across town that's my only issue. Otherwise, I definitely would drive to Great links because they are the best dogs I've tried in town Oh and also they charge extra of you use a credit card, so bring cash.

Lloyd C.

Yelp
This is a cool little place with many different types of options I would suggest lovers of hot dogs to come and try this place at least once The staff is very awesome and very courteous The restaurant is also very clean .

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
Here's the scoop. It's tough to rate a hot dog place when you know what you can already get for $1.50 at Costco. That being said this is a fun place to eat even if you're not into hot dogs and a must try for the hot dog connoisseur. We got 4 different dogs. They were all excellent but if you build your own they can approach $10 each if you elect for a couple toppings like cheese/bacon/spam. They were good size but not gigantic. So if you're a pretty good size guy and/or extremely hungry, one dog probably isn't going to cut it so now you're looking at $14+ for a couple dogs. No sides (like fries) included so a meal here can get pricey quickly especially considering you're eating hot dogs, not Angus burgers. But I can see how a hot dog fanatic may largely disregard the price here. Tip: The polish was skinnier than the regular dogs and therefore less filling. Tip: It's cheaper if you find a specialty dog that has your primary extras than building from scratch. I can't see making this a regular lunch stop due to the mediocre value but maybe a treat once in a while for hot dog fans. Also, if you order online for pickup just in case there is a line (there wasn't at lunchtime on a Tuesday) and plan to eat there anyway, you'll need to buy beverages separately when you get there.

Yelp
My boyfriend was craving a chili dog and we came across this highly rated restaurant. So glad we did!! Fast and friendly service. So much to choose from. And it was all so yummy!! They had a cool hip station playing and the lobby area was clean and had everything you could possible need available. Highly recommend.

Charles G.

Yelp
This is my new place for hot dogs!!!! Service was kind and genuine! Had 2 dogs, a Windy City and a custom one. Both were filled with toppings, dogs were freshly grilled. Prices are VERY reasonable. I'll be back!

Terry M.

Yelp
I have been back here many times since the original 2018 review and I am going there in a couple of hours! I am an Ovo Vegetarian so that means no meat/no dairy and I have had the Beyond dogs several times from them and always loved how you can make just about any dog Vegan. The PB and JJ is amazing--Jalapeno Relish and PB, it comes wrapped in Bacon so I of course 86 that. The Windy City, The Maxwell St, The Tucson are all amazing and delicious. The Tater tots are good and they have Sprechers Soda! If you haven't had it, try the orange cream, it's amazing!! but made with Honey, so if you are vegan and reading this, nevermind. :D I am going tonight and will leave another review based on what happens, I am trying the field roast dog for the first time, kind of excited, kind of nervous.... Taking a friend with me who will try whatever. Also have ordered from them through Grub Hub and a few times during lockdown as well and never had an issue. This will have to count as 7 or so visits!

Brian S.

Yelp
Had the jalapeño popper dog, I've had some good hot dogs and this place gives Chicago a run for their money on making really good hot dogs. If you like spicy/hot then the jalapeño popper is super delicious and for you. The menu has many hot dogs and some I wouldn't imagine doing to a dog but all looked delicious on the menu. The service is friendly and fast. And had a pleasant experience. Restaurant is clean inside and when we drove by, the name of the restaurant caught our eye so we had to try it. Highly recommend

Lauren V.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place simply because the name makes me giggle. I'd also been craving a hot dog...weird I know. We ordered the Pb+jj hotdog and a traditional chili cheese as well as the baked potato tots. Everything came out quickly and piping hot. My dad loved the pj hotdog. My tots could have Ben slathered in a little more cheese and chili but I like things saucy! I'm so excited to come back. Next on my list is the max and cheese dog. Also love that you have recycling!!

Bryant F.

Yelp
Great food and service when all you want is a quality uncomplicated hot dog and a cold drink. Grab a real sugar soft drink from the cooler (Dr Pepper for me), wait for your order, and enjoy at your leisure. Casual and awesome.

Kayla A.

Yelp
I've been coming here for ages now, and it's one of my favorite lunch spots. The inside is nice, clean and just a very chill spot. The couple who own the place are so sweet and always recognize me and even let me know when there's a new special they think I'd like! Food is great and always consistent. My favorites and go-tos are the trailerpark or cheese chili cheese (on hotlinks) and the pbb&jj, which has surprise, peanut butter on it. But before you judge it, give it a try, it hits all the flavor points for me and I definitely crave it at times.

Nicoke K.

Yelp
Food was good. I feel like it's a little over priced but the area might be playing a part in that. The people that work here are nice and very accommodating. Cherry soda was the best I have ever had. I

Scrunch D.

Yelp
The lady working at the tll was very sweet & explained the menu well. I got sides, a drink & a hotdog with buffalo fries The total was 28$ Which was honestly way too expensive for the quality of food. The Mac & cheese was cold. Looked nothing like it did on the menu. Tastes like it was from a can with small sprinkles of cheese on top. For 8$ that's insane for a 4oz portion. The hotdog was good. Same with the buffalo fries. Taste was there. I did like the variety of drinks you can choose from at the front & it was very clean & neat inside. The price is what knocked it down a star & the quality of the main side. Really disappointed with how it's advertised vs how it looks & tastes.

Christopher B.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to try this place while visiting Las Vegas. We were craving hotdogs and this place is a few miles from our family's house, so we decided what the heck. Ambiance is pretty cool inside. The customer service was good. The prices were a little steep, but not terrible. Overall the dogs were really good. Lots of flavor and very colorful with their ingredients.

Tina B.

Yelp
GREAT dog options!! We tried the Windy City, Das Wurst, Elote Dog, and Loaded Baked Potato Tots, and everything was REALLY good!! It's definitely worth a try! Service was good, but staff could step it up a bit. Really nice choices for bottles of soda. Some old-fashioned choices we hadn't seen in a while.

Stuart B.

Yelp
Best Hotdogs in town. Came in on National Hot Dog Day. $1.50 regular dogs and $2.50 Chili Dogs. very tasty. Family owned and operated. Check them out.

George A.

Yelp
Looking for a hotdog to celebrate July 4 lunch and found this place! The staff was attentive. Service was quick food was good. You're getting gourmet hotdogs without the over priced cost Add the ninth by wind and the coney chili cheese along with onion rings and chili cheese fries Everything was made fresh sides were crispy, not soggy, and their hotdog offerings are quite diverse Check them out !

Faron R.

Yelp
We were enticed by the name of this place and wanted to try it out! It is so cutely designed and they have cute little wiener dogs everywhere and cool art on the walls. Their menu consists of all kinds hot dogs. They even have vegetarian and vegan options. We tried the 9th island dog which has pineapple, spam, and peppers on it and we tried a weekly special which is a bacon wrapped hot dog on a pretzel bun, beer cheese, mustard and grilled onions. We ordered the fried pickles as a side. Everything was fresh and delicious. This is a great place for a quick and yummy bite. The owner runs the place and is a very cool guy! We enjoyed the food and the aesthetic of the place, and would definitely return.

Steven W.

Yelp
Knowing I love hot-dogs, a close friend recommended this place to us & we stopped in today for the first time. But, it won't be our last. We both ordered the bacon wrapped dog (Nathan's Famous) & the Mrs got her's with a pickle. And we shared an order of their loaded baked potato tots. Just downright yummy! While we enjoyed our meal in their clean dining area, we looked over the large menu. We'll be back. I want to try the "9th Island" & the "Trailer Park." The "Savage" sounds tasty too. Decisions, decisions. We also saw they have a "Happy Hour" for ice cream floats. Definitely wanna try that. I do wish they offered fountain drinks, but I must say they offer a large selection of sodas & water in their cooler box up front. Service was great & we look forward to returning soon.

Jen M.

Yelp
Service was great. The loaded tots were a little too well done and not enough toppings. The elote dog was my favorite for sure.

Jim H.

Yelp
We went here twice on our last trip to Vegas. I got the PB&JJ the 1st time & the dog of the month on our 2nd visit. Both dogs were good, but the PB&JJ is next level. I had a bite of the boy's corndog & it cuts the mustard. I got Dad jokes for days! Tots were hot & crispy. Fries were good too, but those tots are where it's at. Bottled soda was fun. Guy at the counter was cool. Kitchen crew actually seemed like they wanted to be there. Pro tip: You will have an overwhelming desire to mess with the ingredients on the dogs. Hold up! Don't add or subtract, until you try them OG. They're basically perfect as is. SW has been added to our list of must do's, when in Vegas. Well done!

Kacy K.

Yelp
This was our first time going and it did NOT disappoint. Great choice of dogs and I only have one word- delicious!! so happy we ate there- will be back- for sure

Doug M.

Yelp
Great service, the guy working was very nice. The menu has a bit if everything you can think of in terms of dog creations. The only things I didn't like was the lack of tables as it's kind of a small store and the prices are kind of steep.

NorthCoast Las Vegas t.

Yelp
I order here often and thought it was time for a review since their dogs consistently come out perfect. There's no comparison, these hot dogs are the best around. The fresh ingredients are always crisp and the cooked toppings always fresh and made to order. The workers seem friendly each time and the food comes out fairly quickly. The ambiance: it's mellow, and very clean inside. There is an outdoor space to eat which is nice because I like to pick up a Jamba Juice next door and eat outside. 5/5 will keep returning

Mary S.

Yelp
Great little hotdog place. They have large menu and options. We enjoyed the Windy City dog and loaded tots. The hot dog was the closest thing I've had to a Chicago style dog and the tots were absolutely delicious. The service was great and the guy was super friendly. We will for sure come back for lunch.

Anh V.

Yelp
Love the place! The service is superfood and dogs are well prepared and served. Gourmet hot dogs that won't disappoint you. It is further all the way down in Henderson so to bad we can't grab them instantly as we are north west of Vegas.

Mat O.

Yelp
Ian and Dontae are great! Food was quick and delicious. Definitely coming back for another Tucson dog or Elote dog! Thanks for the quick change up in the regular dinner options.

Roger L.

Yelp
If you are looking for a Hot Dog joint in the valley this is the place. Great hot dog combos with a few surprise combinations. Quick service with a great hot dog stand feel. Check out the menu and you won't be disappointed.

Steff A.

Yelp
I've finally stopped by after being curious about these place for years...good times. #supportlocal This Starbucks sized hot dog house is actually a neighbor to a Starbucks. The dining area was clean, casually decorated with a massive hot dog spray painted mural. You order with the friendly staff and you pick up your dogs when they're ready. Jalapeno Popper: Beer Cheese, Cream Cheese and Jalapenos. 2x cheeses and Jalapenos? Sign me up please. The cheeses help offset the jalapeno heat. More importantly, the cheeses and the jalapenos complemented each other to make for a tasty hot and cheesey dog for me. PBB & JJ - Bacon Wrapped Dog with Peanut Butter and Jalapeno Jelly. This was fantastic. The bacon brings saltiness and the peanut butter and jalapeno jelly bring sweetness and a tiny bit of heat. Very well done here. This is a creative hot dog that might sound a little over the edge on the menu but is definitely a tasty dog. The menu is extensive with your classic dogs, the over top foodie/social media friendly dogs and everything in between. The buns were fresh and the hot dogs were juicy when they get to you. I look forward to exploring the savage and the mac n cheese dog in the near future. Enjoy!

Jacqui C.

Yelp
Spontaneous hot dog spot in Henderson! I've lived here long enough to remember that way before the Steamie Weenie rolled around, this space was occupied by a Cold Stone Creamery and later a Josie's, a frozen yogurt spot, after Cold Stone closed down. The Steamie Weenie is wedged next to Pizza Hut/Wingstop and China Tango on Green Valley and Pebble not far from the 215 freeway. Easy find! Having had this place bookmarked on Yelp for quite some time, I finally made it here. There was nobody there besides us, which was unusual for a Friday night. They have a wide variety of hot dog and side selections. I ordered the Windy City and the chili cheese fries and my boyfriend ordered the Mac and cheese and cheese and tater tots. The Windy City dog had jalapeños, tomatoes, a pickle, and chopped onions. I had to skip out on the jalapeños though because they were a bit too spicy for my taste, but my boyfriend was happy to them off my hands. The Mac and cheese and cheese dog had, well, you know, mac and cheese on it, along with cheddar sprinkled on top. I really liked the aesthetic feel of this place. There were toy hot dogs, books on hot dogs, and a giant hot dog painting covering one wall. Just hot dog everything. Totally recommend for the hot dog lover in anyone.

Albert J.

Yelp
The dogs are okay, but they are expensive. $4.95 for a regular dog and if you want a chili and cheese dog, be prepared to add $3.00 more to that for a $7.95 dog. Expensive, seeing how you DO NOT get any fries with that. Fries are another $4.95! Come on.....at least add some fries to that $7.95 dog!!! After 3 dogs, 1 order of fries and 2 cans of soda (really, you don't have a soda fountain dispenser??) I paid almost $29.00!!! As I said before, the dogs are okay, but be prepared to pay a hefty price!

Amanda M.

Yelp
If you're seeking basic, bland, and unappetizing fare, look no further. The hotdog I ordered was not only tough and overcooked but also lacked freshness. Despite paying over $7.00, the bacon-wrapped hotdog had barely any bacon on it. Disappointingly, despite its positive reviews, my experience fell far short of expectations. I won't be returning or recommending this place after this experience.

Debbie G.

Yelp
The hot dogs are a really quality meat and I like the crispy tater tots too. They have special sodas and glass recycling as well. I like stopping in when I have a few moments to sit down because their dining room and restrooms are clean and I can always relax and enjoy my meal.

Matt K.

Yelp
Excellent East Coast style hot dogs and fries. We tried a plain beef dog with yellow mustard, a Coney (Chili, diced onions and yellow mustard), a Pushcart (Sabrett's red onions, sauerkraut and brown mustard) and Buffalo fries (Crinkle-cut fries, celery salt, buffalo sauce, bleu cheese crumbles, green onions and buttermilk ranch). Although not a fan of blue cheese (I do like ranch dressing with my fries) with their Buffalo fries the blue cheese crumbles were light and didn't overpower. The hot dogs were spicy and flavorful and the accompaniments nicely done. Fast friendly service.

Yelp
These are the real deal. My first time here and I'll for sure keep coming back. I had the regular frank. It was epic. In fact, I might just go there right now. Also, the service is fantastic. Super friendly.

Yelp
1/26/21 - Too ashamed to check-in a 2nd day in a row so I silently picked up my Windy City dog (minus the onion) and tots with the side of steamie sauce and back home I went. As you can see, my tots made it home this time for their photo op. Okay, now this Windy Dog is better than the Tailgater and just what I needed. I'm OBSESSED!! This won't be the last you'll see of me Steamie Weenie. I promise you that! There are a few more doggies I need to try!

Yelp
Love the dogs! Chicago Dog is on point! We love this place! Hidden jem for those who like hot dogs like the rest of our Midwesterner's.
