Quick & easy buying process. I had been looking to buy a Matcha tea for a friend after loads of video reviews, & research. I had looked at other online sources, but felt like their sites were a little confusing to navigate. I felt like the steeping room was the most straight forward and I was able to purchase the exact tea that I desired. I received my order quickly and with care. With even a hand written thank you, on the order receipt. I appreciated the personal touch. Also included Matcha care instructions, again demonstrating care. Overall good experience as a first time buyer.

I tried the chocolate crunch black tea at a cute cafe in Austin and fell in LOVE! I asked our server for the source and they let me here. I ordered a whole pound because I am legit obsessed 😍😍🤤!! Definitely the best tea I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to try more flavors. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and it’s woman owned 👏🏽👏🏽

Excellent tea and excellent service. I found The Steeping Room via r/tea on reddit and I could not be happier with the discovery. The Genmaicha Extra Green is truly something special <3 The prices are fair and the variety of tea offerings is pretty impressive. I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to Emily, who was SUCH a big help regarding an order issue I recently had. Emily had the issue resolved almost instantly and I cannot thank them enough!

The Steeping Room is the best tea shop in Austin, or anywhere really. They are true experts on tea, have a large and varied selection, and keep things fresh with new arrivals all the time. I am a member of their monthly tea club and the newsletter alone is addictive, filled with education about different regions and tea making processes. And of course the tea that comes in the club is delicious, as well as everything they offer. Highly recommend!

A totally painless process. I found the website with 1 search where it appeared at the top of the results. I typed the tea I was looking for and found it right away on the site. I ordered it in 3 steps. I got the email that it was ready. I went there, knocked on the door. A smiling lady appeared immediately and asked for my name. She came back in less than 30 seconds with my order and I came back home with it. It doesn't get any easier. And the tea ia delicious.
