The 26 Best Boise Restaurants to Try Right Now - Eater

"An acronym for Sweetest Things in Life, the name of this popular ice cream shop accurately represents its role as one of the sweetest places in Boise. During scorching high-desert summers (or any season really), a custom ice cream flavor like churro, raspberry, goat cheese, or walnut hits the spot at any of the mini-chain’s locations. Dairy-free and vegan options are available, as well as booze-infused flavors, all of which can be enjoyed either on their own or as part of a custom ice cream sandwich, an affogato, or a beer or wine float. Feeling indecisive? There are ice cream flights that can be paired with a beer or wine flight as well." - Scott Ki, Scott Wink

What a great place to stop for a huge treat! Flights of icecream is the best invention ever! Share 8 sampling of their homemade icecream with friends. Wonderful treat! Beer and icecream flights are also pretty great idea!

So glad I discovered this little gem. I loved the homemade flavors that offered a great variety of new things to try. I took the clerks recommendation and split my single scoop into two halves. The ice cream was smooth and the flavors were subtle. I'll be back for sure!

STIL was delicious! To have vegan and gluten free options as a majority was a nice change up from the normal. We ordered “Cookies with Grandma” (gf and vegan) which was delicious coconut with cookie pieces and “Nightcap on Eckert” which was a for those 21+ as it’s an espresso ice cream featuring cake and heath bar pieces, and is infused with kahlua. We will be back!

The STIL is hands down the best ice cream shop ever! They make all their ice cream in-house and offer an incredible variety of flavors. While they have a lineup of staple flavors that are always available, their rotating seasonal flavors keep things exciting. Right now, my absolute favorite is Monkey Business—a dreamy mix of bananas, peanut butter, pretzels, and Nutella. And if you can’t choose just one, no worries! A double-sized bowl lets you pick up to four different flavors. One thing I really appreciate about The STIL is that they have something for everyone. Whether you're dairy-free or gluten-free, you won’t miss out—their non-dairy options are just as rich and creamy as their classic ice creams. They even have booze-infused flavors for an extra fun twist! I do my best to stick to a healthy diet, but this place? It’s my ultimate guilty pleasure—and totally worth it.

Great ice cream and awesome service. Hours are nice too. Open late so you can even stop in after a evening movie next door. Worth a try. Lots of options for many different tastes and dietary restrictions. Dairy free, nut free, and gluten free, etc.

I was brought some of the huckleberry. I had two small bites and couldn't eat anymore. It overwhelmingly had the flavor of beer and it overpowered the taste of huckleberry. Growing up here picking huckleberries, making my own huckleberry ice cream, this was disgusting. I threw it away. I won't ever get anything from there ever again.

My husband and I stopped by today after seeing great reviews. I had the "Night Cap on Eckert" (booze-infused) in a waffle cone. The ice cream was delicious, but the cone tasted like a cheap store-bought one — possibly stale. Seating inside is limited, though there's plenty outside if the weather's nice. The bathroom could be cleaner. Also, try samples before ordering — my husband got the vegan chocolate and was disappointed with the flavor. Worth visiting, just keep expectations in check.
