The Stoop Coffee Shop & Cafe

My friends and I are in the area for the Army/Navy game and came to this wonderful coffee shop. The customer service was amazing. The girl taking our order was full of smiles and tolerated our very outgoing energy. She was so kind and had lots of patience as we had a large coffee and pastry order. On top of the service, the coffee was delicious and hit the spot on a very cold morning. Pastries were delicious as well. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area.

Cute and cozy with really amazing signature summer drinks! I had the Smoked Clouds and Salmon Quiche which were both incredible. Friendly and fast staff, couldn't ask for a better breakfast!

The Stoop is hands down one of the best coffee spots in Baltimore! From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by warm, inviting vibes and an energy that feels like home. The employees are friendly and genuinely seem to love what they do, which makes the whole experience even better. The owners are often around, chatting with customers and bringing a personal touch to the place that makes it feel like a true community hub. Their coffee is amazing--there's a familiar but exceptional flavor to it, like the best version of a classic brew. It's rich, flavorful, and expertly made, and pairs perfectly with their impressive selection of pastries and treats, which are always fresh and delicious. Another unique perk of The Stoop is their point system, which lets you earn rewards and discounts for future purchases. It's such a nice way to feel appreciated as a regular, and it definitely keeps me coming back. The ambiance is really something special here, too. The walls are adorned with a stunning hand-painted mural that brings so much character to the space. It's vibrant and artistic, adding to the overall cozy aesthetic. This apple danish was toasted and it tastes amazing warmed up. The coffee is quality also. I get sick of giving all my money to Starbucks. It’s nice to support local business and still get good coffee. My only complaint is it is a little small and never anywhere to sit. If you order ahead you can run in and not have to pay for parking but if you plan to stay there is paid parking in the street

Decided on this spot to meet a friend for some planning and catchup. Greeted with warm vibes (think family you like x Cheers) and excellent service. My drinks and pastry were on point! I asked for a drink on the seasonal menu that wasn’t the most popular (who doesn’t like an awesome caramel apple cider????) and the barista made sure I had it exactly the way I like it. This place is definitely a must visit and I can’t wait to go back. Menu looked and smelled good and they had a ton of options for coffee and tea drinkers - you won’t be disappointed!

I had the salmon & quiche with an iced latte with spiced apple butter syrup—the quiche was really good, very umami and cheesy. The coffee is good too, a bit bitter, but very tasty-not too sweet. My friend and I came in at a busy time though, it took a bit (almost 45 minutes of waiting) to get our food considering how small the kitchen and only three people are working. And there was ZERO standing room when it was busy, I had to press up against the merch wall and only sat down when a table opened up. So…bringing a bunch of people probably isn’t the best idea! I would come here again, but probably not around their busy hours—they have good music and the staff are really sweet (but so stressed, I felt so bad)! The coffee flavors seem super interesting and would absolutely come here again to try it!

Perfection in a cup be it coffee or cappuccino. Consistently great drinks. I love this place. Super friendly staff, cozy inside, great music & the baked goods are delicious.

$25 for two coffees and a small quiche is nuts. The quiche was delicious though. Coffee was very average. I’ve tried so many places in Baltimore, just get a Moka pot and make your own espresso if you want good coffee. Reduces single waste plastic and saves so much money. Not to mention tastes 1000x better than anything you can buy at a cafe.

The service, drinks and food are made from the heart and it shows! Lovely little neighborhood cafe. The breakfast sandwiches on their biscuits, croissants and English muffin bread will leave you wanting to have one everyday. The great pastries are made by a local bakery. Short walk to the stadiums and downtown. Come here!

My friend and I met up here to try a new business within our community. We shared a Danish and I also got a drink. It honestly was not my favorite but I will say customer service was nice, restaurant was clean, and I like that we could sit by the window and e hiy ourselves. I would try again

I had a lovely experience at The Stoop. Whenever I visit my bestie in Bmore I always find myself wishing there was a coffee shop within walking distance to her place. I was really happy when I saw this new coffee shop opened up in Pigtown right next to her! After reading great reviews, I decided to walk over to grab myself my morning coffee. My bestie doesn't drink coffee, so I decided to grab her a hot chocolate. I went on a Saturday morning and it was packed. There was a line to the door, which I think was amazing. There were some seats inside, and nice natural lighting near them. It looked like there were quite a few food options which is always great at a cafe. It is a bit of a smaller space, but maybe this was emphasized because of all the people. I was just there for drinks and this review is based only on the drinks I got. I'd be interested to return and try food as well as more beverages. I had ordered their special salted caramel mocha, however, it felt seemed more like just a plain mocha. My friend really liked her hot chocolate. It was too sweet for me, but she enjoyed it. I'm excited to come back and try other things when I'm in town.

A lovely little neighborhood cafe. There are about six 2-top tables inside, with lots of natural light and bay window seating. On warmer days, they also have bigger 4-top tables outside as well. Free WiFi as expected for a cafe. They have a variety of pastries, many different customizable drink options with a plethora of syrups. The coffee itself is good, but nothing special to write home about in terms of quality. I do wish they had some more vegan options for food. They do have oat milk available for 50 cents extra which feels very reasonable. Overall I think it's a nice place to drop it for a treat or to do work for a bit. A welcome addition to Pigtown, especially since some other businesses have closed down.

The Stoop is a hole in the wall café located in Pigtown. They have both indoor and outdoor seating (very limited). There's also free Wi-Fi so you can do some work. I like how their syrups are categorized based on their flavors (fruity, nutty, floral, seasonal to name a few). The service was pretty fast given that it was not busy. There's limited street parking available.

I popped into The Stoop this morning after seeing a social media post about it. I was perhaps aware the previous iteration of this coffee shop had closed, but didn't know a new one had already opened. My intrigue made me visit. As often as I've walked by this location, I've never been in. It's really cute and quaint inside, with brick walls in the front and about 6 tables and chairs. The rest of the space is narrow, but is mostly just for ordering and coffee/food prep for staff. I happily chatted away with the cashier as I ordered a cafe con leche. I sat in the cute space, drinking my very good coffee and talking with the cashier and one of the owners. It was lovely and I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Great location and so exciting to have a good coffee spot in this area! Small, cozy, and homey are the vibes here. Coffee, tea, fresh squeezed lemonade, baked goodies, and more- you can't go wrong here. Seating inside and small seating outside. Work , relax on a weekend, or come in for breakfast! Owners are so friendly and welcoming! You'll love it here!
