The Story of Ramen

Great bonding experience with yummy ramen and appetizers. Street parking is very limited so arrive early. Make note of the parking area number, so you can refill the meter online without running to the car. The co-owner who ran the 2-hour event has an impressive resume; years and years of studying abroad in various cuisines. He guided us with detailed instructions and explained the reasoning behind each ingredient. The Founder/CEO set up all the next steps diligently with the utmost efficiency. It made the whole experience go by seamlessly. There is even a phone stand at each station for those who wish to record. Ultimately, it's your creation! You choose the saltiness and spiciness of the broth. You choose how much and which toppings to assemble. You choose how charred the meat should be. I had a great time - if they ever cook another menu item I would definitely come back.

Got me and my partner tickets for Saturday at 11:00am. Make sure you arrive 15 minutes beforehand so you can enjoy your gyozas at the table. The place filled up really quick as it was a full booking. We washed our hands and stood at our station by the kitchen aid. Jeff was leading the class, he explains the history, ingredients, why we use this ingredient and what happens if there’s too much of it. I love how everything was explained and we weren’t just told to mix ingredients. They had phone stands for people who wanted to make tik toks as well. After following step by step, I was amazed how great me and my partners noodles came out— I was worried at first since it was too dry. We cooked our noodles, put everything together and we had AMAZING ramen. The broth was perfect to my liking, it was spicy and savory, with the right amount of salt. My partners noodles were better and thinner than mine. Overall the experience was unique, fun, took 2 hours to finish, and we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Most importantly, I didn’t feel rushed. It was a very great class!!!!

Too stingy. We had an event with a group of people and people who were even a few minutes late weren’t able to make ramen or eat. They didn’t set aside a bowl even for them to have the broth with the toppings. Our event included “sake tasting” for which they handed out small bottles of prepackaged mediocre sake ordered from a party website and mochi ice cream which they counted and made sure each person could eat only 1. Disappointed and won’t be returning here. It seemed like a fun event but the attitude of the staff ruined it.

Just came here to celebrate my birthday with my family, and we had a great time!! It was a very well organized event, with simple instructions, not super intensive or too difficult for the shorter class. I would definitely come back to do another class, the shorter class focused on making the noodles. The longer class I believe covers how to make the soup base- which I’m definitely inclined to checking out at some point in the future! They sent us the recipes immediately after the class, and even though we didn’t cover how to make the chasu, or the soup base they send those recipes along as well. I would highly recommend trying it out. You also have the option of having more chasu, as well as getting gyoza and mochi. If you tend to not get full off a ramen bowl I’d definitely recommend adding those when you book the class- otherwise I would have still been hungry.

Super fun experience! Jeff & Manville have started a creative and fun way of making ramen. I loved that we were given “fun facts” and history behind ramen and it’s culture. I wish there were more topping options like in other review pictures.

This was seriously one of the best cooking experiences I have ever had! I got to make amazing memories and spend quality time doing something hands on with my son. He’s 8yr old and LOVED every moment of making ramen. Everyone must give this a try. Kid friendly BUT keep in mind, it’s not a playhouse so you would need to make sure your child pays attention and doesn’t run around bc it is indeed a cooking class and does have things that could be dangerous to a child such as hot stove tops. This is amazing for every event you would need it for like bday parties. Bridal parties. Date nights. Time with your child or spouse. Family time to bond! Seriously this is a must try. The two gentlemen who run this amazing cooking class are awesome!! Please support this small business and keep it open forever! ❤️ My 8yr old son told me it was the best time he had and would love to do it again so that’s a huge win win! So I won’t post pictures of the class itself bc I want whoever you are to feel and experience it for yourself. I wouldn’t want to spoil the fun for you. Try it ❤️

I came to a class here with my sister a few weeks ago for her birthday. It was a wonderful experience. We had such a great time and the ramen was outstanding. They do such a great job preparing everything and making it a fun, efficient, and delicious experience. The broth was soooo good and the mochi ice cream they make in house for dessert was amazing

Such a fun experience! Instructor knows a lot about ramens and explains a lot about it as you make! Ramen was very good!
