Family-Friendly Pub Opens as Popular Korean Food Stall Shutters - Eater Atlanta

"Family-friendly pub The Stratford is set to open its doors on Wednesday, January 3 in the former Pallookaville space in Avondale Estates. Pallookaville closed last November. This, after being purchased from previous owner Jim Stacy by James Maggard and Jason Hylton in 2016 who also own Local No. 7 in Tucker. The pub’s menu should be similar to that of the duo’s Tucker restaurant and will serve both lunch and dinner starting Wednesday." - Beth McKibben

I stumbled upon this pub as I was on my way to the farmers market nearby. I saw the reviews, which sounded great. I ordered the house Bloody Mary, which was one of the better ones I have had. It was the perfect amount of spice, and very flavorful. For my entree, I chose the fish and chips. The plate came with 2 massive pieces of cod, fries, cole slaw, and some nice, tangy tartar sauce. The fish was awesome. The fish-to-breading ratio was perfect. The breading was light and crispy with a satisfying crunch. Almost that of a tempura. The fries were lightly seasoned and, of course incredible after I added the malt vinegar. The Fish and Chips, I highly recommend. Lastly, I just wanted to say our server Aurelia was so welcoming and fun to talk to. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much for a great meal and service!

Google
Went here for dinner and it was great pub food! We started with chips and salsa and the pretzel bites. Really yummy! I split the fish and chips and spinach and mushroom quesadillas. Both were really tasty. Nice service. Parking behind the building.

Google
The food was ok and the service was decent. The place is a pub so clean and good smelling it wasn’t but it’s a cool spot with nice decor

Google
Parking is really tight and limited, however however, staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food comes out fast and hot. However, the wings left a little more to be desired. Overall was good. It’s a nice spot if you want to meet up with friends have a good drink and a quick bite to eat.

Google
A great place to unwind after a day wandering the local shops. Seating is comfortable and prices surprisingly reasonable. The pretzel bites and BBQ sandwich are some particular standouts for me. Also shout out to our server Wyatt who was super cool and patient.

Our server Jack was great- very attentive and kind. The food was good, we got 2 chili dogs with chili cheese fries (custom order). Shared the shepards pie too. Spent $34 before tip.

Long overdue review(s)! Why? I have no good reason, but it is essential to emphasize that my first experience was the catalyst that brought me back. The vibe is that of a laid-back neighborhood joint. Come as you are, whether that’s dressed up or down. Everyone is welcome. On both occasions, the individuals that we had the pleasure of interacting with made sure to make us feel that way and provide a wonderful experience, going above and beyond to provide an excellent service. On our first visit, we requested a Bob Marley, which is not on the menu. 98% of places will always turn this request down due to a myriad of reasons, such as not having the ingredients or they don't feel like it, and you are going to get what they have and what they feel like making, or they don't know how to make it. On that visit, the stars aligned. I don’t know if they had all the ingredients or if the bartender knew how to make the drink, but he eagerly and without hesitation took on that challenge and executed it beautifully. It has been some time, so I unfortunately cannot remember our bartender's name from that initial visit. But he did an excellent job, and everyone we encountered on that initial visit was terrific, and that experience left an indelible mark. We used to live in Avondale Estates and now live in South Fulton. We were in the area waiting to pick up my daughter from an event and trying to think of places to eat. We remembered the Reuben egg rolls and the amazing service, chill environment, and great time at the Stratford on our first visit and decided to fall through. On this second visit, from the beginning, the individual that seated us (unsure of his name) was excellent and offered to turn off one of the fans on the patio as it was getting chilly. They must have a large event space upstairs as a class reunion was being held that evening for Tucker High School. Our server, Jamie, was terrific, just so lovely, and provided us with exceptional top-notch service and provided excellent menu recommendations. Even with an event going on, the quality and service did not waiver. Special shout-out to Carter (I hope that is correct), the wonderful bartender whom we did not have the pleasure of meeting; however, she made the best Dark & Stormy I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. They also have a great beer selection. On both occasions that we have come here, everyone that we encountered was phenomenal. They are doing something right at The Stratford Pub, and they have managed to do it consistently for both of my visits, which is a spectacular feat. Try the Reuben egg rolls, the onion soup, and an off-the-menu item recommended by Jamie during our second visit, which is teriyaki fried cauliflower (see pic below-one piece of cauliflower was consumed prior to the pic😅 and accounts for the empty space on the bottom left)! Chef’s kiss 🤌🏽

Google
I stopped by a couple weeks ago and enjoyed their Salmon BLT and fries out on their patio. The food was great, I couldn’t stop eating the fries, and it’s always nice having a beer outside on a sunny day. They also have their own parking lot which makes it really easy to stop by and enjoy some food and beer!

Yelp
Go to The Stratford. Ask for Denzel. At least, I think his name was Denzel. He took good care of us, making good suggestions and checking in throughout. I love it that I can get a Snakebite without having to explain what it is. My wife and I both had the fish & chips. The fish was fresh and hot right out of the fryer. The batter was crispy and the fish itself was perfect. Put that on top of a pile of chips and we were both very happy. Next time I'll try some of the other traditional pub fare. The burgers look really good. Do not sit outside unless you like flies. Inside is way more comfortable and generally devoid of flies. Outside is probably better in the fall and winter, when you can sit next to a fire. (There is a fireplace outside.)

Yelp
This place is really cool! The outside, the decor, the people who work there are all great! It's a GREAT place to have a drink and hangout with friends! They have trivia on Wednesdays at 7 PM. The food is meh. It's not terrible but it's not great. However, everything else really makes up for it.

Yelp
So I went here for the first time on 7/19/2025. I've passed this place a lot of times and never visited. I went to another restaurant who grand opening was today was not open so I was in the area and I said that I'm going to check it out. I got 6 PC lemon pepper wings with blue cheese and tots fries was the other choice. The combo is $10.00:tots $2.00; beverage $7.00 with tax 20.52. delicious wings even though they are not whole wings. The beverage I got was great also. My phone opened up on this place the other day in my pocket btw. Fans and a TV also on the patio.

Yelp
We gave The Stratford another try this Summer on trivia night. The service, over two visits, was excellent. Trivia night is well attended and fun. Food is solid. Happy to revise a negative review to a positive one.

Yelp
Had dinner with my daughter at the Stratford this week. It is convenient y to where she lives and we had eaten here before. I am not English but in my mind this is very traditional English Pub. Definitely a bar feel, but also family atmosphere and good food. They have a number of classic English dishes you don't always see here in America. We both went with fish dishes tonight. I had the fish and chips and my daughter the fish tacos. Both were excellent. Generous portion size and nice breading. On earlier trips we have tried the burgers and the shepard's pie. The shepard's pie may be too authentic for me. Heavy on the lamb and more stew like than the usual American versions. Overall a nice spot.

Yelp
The food was good, the service was amazing, and the ambiance was good. The restaurant was very nice and had a great location. I had the buffalo burger, it was ok.

Yelp
Thankfully they have reserved parking in back. The lights are dim so hard to know it was open and we called to confirm. But it was and we got a booth. Now to be up front- this is a pub. Not necessarily a dive but it's a a family friendly dog included establish sure but the energy and vibe is kinda get in where you fit in. No one is hand holding but will answer as you ask. The waitress Tia was phenomenal as she was still extra sweet. Attentive and gave great suggestions. I personally love all of that. But what keeps the lights on has to be the food and beer. I was in love with my steak and frites. Just what I was thinking I wanted and made so well. Nothing but a good time and good food. Leave the pretentiousness at home. Also got chips and queso which was also extra good but ate too fast for photos. Defiantly on my will return list.

Yelp
Love this place, can't believe it took me so long to try it out. So far I know the following food items are great: salmon blt, wings, fries, tots. Great genuinely pub vibe, they play the ATL United matches (or at least were playing when I was there), the staff is friendly, as are the patrons it seems (just good vibes flowing).
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped here for an early lunch on a whim. "The Old Man" was our server and gave us a friendly greeting as soon as we walked it. He gave us great service and the food came out quickly. The place has a cool pub atmosphere and relaxing classic R&B background music. We had the fish and chips, the fish tacos, the French dip and the shepherd's pie. Everything was fresh and delicious. The hand cut fries and the tots were on point. We tried the strawberry cheesecake and the beignets for dessert and left very happy and satisfied. We'll definitely be back when we're on this side of town.

Yelp
I'm trying to spread the gospel about this place. First, impeccable customer service. I've never gone and not had great customer service. During one of my recent trips, I text my friends how sweet my server was. If you love a smash burger then this place is for you. It's so delicious. I like to have the pretzels and cheese as an app. Food is priced fairly. Parking is easy as they have a small lot behind the building.

Yelp
Great burgers, great tots, everything I've had here has been super good. Solid pub food & also a great patio!

Yelp
Based on the reviews online for the Stratford Pub in Avondale Estates, I was looking forward to this place. After going to it, now I find it fishy to read "we're known for - excellent service AND food" from the owner - it seems arguable. We were in the area, and it wasn't busy, plus the "NEW Menu" had a nice variety of foods, reasonable prices, and good portions. Told to seat ourselves, and the bartenders and waiters seemed nice while doing their thing at a distance. We started by ordering 6 Pieces of Boneless Wings. They came out quick, and they were fresh and delicious. We ordered food then. Not sure what happened, but the rest of the meal missed everything. - THE TROLLEY, a Burger topped with Red chili, pimento cheese - Surprise; it's black bean chili on top of a burger--Rating Dry skinny burger - mediocre flavors. - Fries (skinny style) and tater tots were terrible; they seemed to have been fried OR overcooked in old oil. From my dive bar/pub experience moment, it was a miss - not impressed.
google avatar

Tara B.

Yelp
Popped in on a Tuesday around 3PM. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Looking for vegan options and he was able to walk us through the menu. He made the experience quite pleasant. Sautéed spinach - these were surprisingly tasty! Nothing too fancy but seasoned just right. Tater tots - pretty standard but good. Sweet potato fries - these were pretty good, also standard. I like to dip in regular mustard to balance the sweetness. I like that they did not come with sugar dnd cinnamon. Black beans - pretty tasty. *all food is cooking in the same oil. They also have black bean and Impossible burgers as options.

Yelp
Somehow, this place has stayed under my radar. We've lived in EAV for over 10 years but I'd never heard anyone mention the Stratford. I know it's in Avondale, but it's only 15 minutes from home so I was surprised to stumble upon this place. So Edward was our server. He was very prompt, courteous and had a great sense of humor! The drinks were great! I had the fish sandwich which was outstanding! The hubby had shepherd's pie and while it tasted great, there was quite a bit of oil floating on top. No biggie though. Overall, still had to give 5 stars. Oh, and they also had one of the cleanest ladies room I've ever seen in a "pub" atmosphere. Definitely will come back to try some other great looking menu choices!
google avatar

Lili J.

Yelp
This is a fun spot. They have such a nice spacious patio. I've gotten takeout recently but I have also enjoyed the service. They have a lot of options so there is something for everyone. The fish and chips are a classic and pretty good. It is a huge portion of fish and chips and you'll probably have leftovers if you don't share. I think that fish has a nice flavor and I really love the fries. It is all so nice and crispy and I definitely suggest trying this place out. The only thing I don't love is the parking situation but Avondale is very walkable so there is sure to be parking somewhere and you can walk there pretty easily.

Yelp
Great service. A little slow during lunch but the server was doing his best. The food was great. Everything met my expectations; good fish and chips. I like the TouchTunes in the bar. The song selection isn't the best, but it's alright. I got the impression this was frequented by older crowds; 45+. This is based on the people in the restaurant at the time I went and the song selections.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
Best customer service around! They really care about their patrons. All of the food is great. I don't think we've ever been disappointed. Their new brunch menu is especially good. It's also our favorite place to watch sports, especially soccer (the Atlanta United watch parties are tons of fun).

Yelp
We mistakenly went on trivia night which was So loud and politically slanted trivia... really people? Lets alienate half our clientele? We finally ordered after a very long wait for service. My friend was really wanting to try their burger but they wouldnt let him specify a temperature on it. This was perplexing and frustrating. He did not like the well done burnt ish burger. I had fish n chips which were ok. The fries were barely warm but were nice enough to bring a fresh batch. The sodas are not free refils so beware of that. I dont think we will be back.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were looking for dog friendly places near us and found that The Stratford allows pups on their patio! The outdoor patio area is super cozy and the service was awesome. Our server loved giving Miss Mira some pets! We enjoyed the Pretzel Bite Basket along with a Reuben sammy. Delicious! We'll definitely be back in the future so we can enjoy some yummy pub grub & bring our furry friend.

Yelp
Had a late afternoon lunch this past Sunday. The server was very lax in his inattentiveness. The food was very so-so many items were missing from the listed menu. Although I will say the fish from the fish and chips was very good but it was the only thing. The hamburger was a waste of time and money

Marjorie A.

Yelp
Always a good experience. We love to meet our friends here. Very family friendly. This is our go to in Avondale estates. Food is good and service is great.

Yelp
Great food--really delicious. Our sandwiches were of top quality ingredients--the salmon, the marinade, the tomato, and even the lettuce. Excellent bread. Service, however, was terrible. Waiter was surly. Had to flag him down for such as refills. Never checked on us, not even once. When he asked what side was wanted--that came with it--we asked what the sides were--not telling us that he was including sides that cost extra. We were also charged more for an item than the menu stated, and he replied, "Oh...that was an old menu!" When we questioned the bill, he was petulant. Maybe he was having a bad day. Or maybe he assumed because we were two old ladies we would not tip well? The "maitre de" who seated us was the only pleasant interaction. Because the food was good, I may try Stratford again and hope I don't get the same waiter. If it is he, I will leave.

Yelp
The Stratford has great good and service. I noticed the restaurant while passing through Avondale Estates and really enjoyed the pub vibe. We were sat immediately, the waiter was quick and polite. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the spinach salad. The fish and chips were well seasoned. The bathrooms had a puddle near them.. was a little afraid someone might slip. Otherwise, it was great. Nice alternative music playing in the background

Brooklynn F.

Yelp
Ok y'all. Jamie is an absolute gem of a server in a sea of Atlanta sub par service. To be honest all the servers we saw tonight were working hard but she was LOVELY. Drinks were DELISH, great food/drink recommendations, good GOOD food. A gem of a place. So cute and totally had the neighborhood vibe we were looking for when out exploring new places. (Bathroom could use a bump but it was clean and that's what really is important)

Yelp
Went here with friends after a trip to DeKalb Market. Friendly, accommodating and good food

Yelp
I found this joint nestled in the heart of Avondale Estates. As indicated by the name, the establishment has an old English themed feel. However, to cut to the meat literally, one on the featured items on the menu is the smoked wings. They were seasoned wonderfully and robust in flavor. If you visit, start with that item and then ask your waiter/waitress what to go for next, as they are helpful in that manner. I definitely plan to revisit this eatery to let some of my friends try out The Stratford.

Yelp
In Avondale Estates there aren't a lot of food choices. The Stratford is a local pub with food, in that order. We have now been a few times, food always changes a bit depending on the cooks. Service is spotty, last time pretty good, two times before bad. Hubby decided to change from the normal steak and fries and opted for a grilled chicken salad. Basic, not great not bad. I opted for the Philly with mushroom and tots with a side of hot sauce (note sauces are additional) WHY? It's a pet peeve, I can see if I asked for 5 of them but sometimes their food needs a kick. Last time I ordered the mushroom Philly add steak. I thought they would basically be the same but the first option has the premade can cheese (gross). The other option had a nice white cheddar slice. Tots come out in a good portion but are just bag tots in a fryer. Pretty basic. No additional seating etc. could be elevated by giving some sauce options. Previously, we have tried almost all the apps. Again, basic and we now know to skip them. We will probably go back just for the convenience. Probably a good place for a local drink and to watch a game. Remember pub first, then food. I hope they look at the potential and think outside the box a bit more. The owners have the experience to make it better. Let's hope!

Yelp
Really enjoying the The Stratford! We just moved to the area and have been here 5/6 times now. It has a great atmosphere to it. The staff is always friendly. Their menu has plenty of food and drink options. They have great pricing on their drinks as well! So far I have tried the burger and Buffalo chicken wrap. Both were delicious!

Yelp
When I tell you this restaurant is a true neighborhood pub. That is an understatement. I've been living in Avondale Estates since March 2020. That was at the beginning of covid and the first place I went to when I moved to this area was Stratford. I have always felt so warm and welcome when I enter the building. The numerous greetings, the themed nights, the food that has never faulted and truthfully gotten better over the years. The management is always on top of continuing to better the restaurant and always seeking new ways to improve even at the top of their game. The staff itself is a testament to how great the place is. Especially my latest server: Nicholas, who not only was extremely professional but had a vast knowledge of service experience and tableside conversation. He was excellent and I hope every staff member is just as diligent. The Stratford pub deserves 5 stars and anything less is such a picky thing to feel. Grow up and understand that the industry has taken a hit recently, these hard working people are trying to create an experience that is still wonderful as it always has been. Shoutout to this place forever!

Auriel W.

Yelp
I came in for lunch and the place was empty... was told to seat myself... I came just for the burger... I got a double stack with cheese... the burger just tasted real greasy... kinda like if you eat to many shake shack burgers... my fries were over seasoned and crispy to a tee... my waiter was very pleasant and he did come and check on me and how was the food... I really didn't feel like complaining that day, so I just agreed that everything was fine... but honestly I was disappointed with the fries, maybe they doubled cooked it because I just don't understand how they can be so crispy with only 3 ppl in the restaurant... this place is definitely a solid 3.... Very clean establishment

Yelp
The Stratford took Pallookaville and gave it a huge face-lift; whether that's a good or a bad thing depends on if you prefer establishments with a history in the community (that may or may not have a certain patina), or if you like the shiny and new with fresh pair of shoes. The food is your standard fried foods, with various sandwiches and other pub grub. Personally I don't agree with the pricing structure, when the appetizers cost nearly the same as a meal, and the cost of draft beers aren't too far behind that. The service was attentive and friendly, and the establishment's cleanliness certainly wasn't an issue. There's space to park behind the restaurant if you can't find a spot along the strip in Avondale. Not a place I'd go out of my way to visit, but I wouldn't avoid it either.

Yelp
Small local pub. No happy hour though and menu was passé. Service was good but got charged for tartar sauce for fish tacos. Mind you there was no sauce that came on them just slaw, pickled onions and one fish tender. No bang for your buck here. Pints of PBR are 4.5$, Pabst Blue Ribbon! Place has potential but a missed opportunity here. Disappointing.

Yelp
I love a great cheese burger and fries at a fair price and this place hits the spot! It also helps that they're 5min away.

Yelp
Been trying to give this place a chance bc it's close and they have a parking lot. Past few times things have been off. Salmon over cooked. Steak raw. Ok so fine let talk about their Irish food they should be able to do that. Ordered shepherds pie tonight it was literally chili with beans beneath the potatoes. I've actually had shepherds pie here before and it was amazing! I told the server and presumably manager. They apologized about whoever is in the kitchen and they redid the meal and brought it back. It seemed to be properly made but not properly cooked. The lamb was red/raw. I'm hoping I don't get sick in the next few hours. One more place OFF the list. A shame.

Yelp
I was in the area so I gave this business a try. I placed my order online for pickup (buffalo wings with sweet potato fries and blue cheese dressing). The wings were horrible and the blue cheese dressing was runny. After eating one I tossed the order in the trash. $30 down the drain. I gave them 2 stars because the gentleman was nice.

Yelp
Good service, good food and drinks! Easy parking and nice location! Burgers, fish n chips, shepherds pie, all good.

Yelp
I've visited the Stratford a couple of times, once with a friend and another time on a first date. I like what they've done with the space - lots of dark wood and the vibe is definitely different from the restaurant that was in this location before. Everything I've eaten here has been fried and fried well - not greasy and flavorful. The fish and chips are a reasonable portion and super tasty. The fried jalapenos and pickles are crispy and delicious. This place is a fried food fattie's (i.e. ME) dream. My date had the Impossible Burger and he liked it. I forget what my friend had, but she really liked the fried pickles. Drinks here are hit or miss. No mixologists on tap so I say keep it simple with liquor and 1 other item like a vodka cranberry Service has been decent on both visits. These guys are not professionals but they get the job done. They have a small parking lot that will hold about 12 cars, but some parking is better than none! The night of my date was a trivia night (Wednesdays!), and my date and I won. It was general information and the categories were really random. We had a good time, so I would recommend supporting that event. You get a gift card for the bar to use on your next visit. The Stratford is a solid choice if you're wanting a meal in Avondale.

Yelp
Great service. Great cheeseburger. Great patio! Excellent little neighborhood bar and grill. We frequent often and sit with our pup on the porch.

Yelp
We ordered The Stratford via DoorDash for dinner tonight and were disappointed with the meal. To start, we didn't receive the correct order. We ordered Fish Tacos and Fish & Chips, but got a double order of Fish & Chips. The receipt from DoorDash clearly showed the correct order but the restaurant receipt attached to the bag was incorrect. I chalked this up to some sort of error with their food listing on the DoorDash app, got my credit for the wrong food and proceeded to eat the soggy meal. The fish was so soggy, the breading was falling off and I wound up trashing most of it. My husband then bit down on a bite of his meal and found a piece of hard plastic in his mouth. Not appetizing at all. That said, the Buffalo Cauliflower was yummy and my daughter enjoyed her chicken fingers.
google avatar

Yelp
Very pedestrian. A lot of the food is very very greasy. It kind of doesn't know what it wants to be. A big boy bar, or a family dining place. And so it makes sacrifices to ensure that it will be neither.

Yelp
I love this new addition to Avondale Estates. It was Palookaville, the corndog place. It is now a European like Pub that is a post for soccer/football. Highlights: - Great food. My faves are French onion soup, fish and chips, rare roast bees sammy, and a good old burger. - Awesome adult beverage selection, esp you like beer and liquor. - Great customer service. Edward and Jordan are kick ass. - Free parking. -Cool people to talk to at the bar like me!! I must stress the FOS is one of the bests around town. I have not tried Local 7's the Sister company, as of yet. On my list!!!!

Yelp
The Stratford is the local hot spot. GREAT food, good drink selections, casual vibe and they even have trivia on Wednesdays! Always look forward to coming here.

Yelp
Pretty hip place. The hostess stand is a standing craftsman toolbox. There's a semi 3 D phone booth and two arcade games. Atlanta United is plastered everywhere. Seems like a place you can come watch some sports with friends or come with your kids. One of the things I like about this place is the ability to see a television from just about anywhere you sit in the restaurant. And windows, plenty of glass to see outside onto the main street. In terms of food, we really enjoyed the smoked wings. They were a good size with great flavor. It came with 2 different sauces and celery, and we got 6 wings for $9. The chicken tenders were okay, seems a bit fried too hard. French fries and tater tots were good. I tried the Angus burger and it comes with two 4 oz patties which made the burger really really thick. I ordered medium well, but it was more so well done and drier than I liked. Not that much flavor, but good old ketchup does the trick. I got the onion rings which were also okay. In terms of service, the kitchen was pretty slow. Our server was very kind and apologetic because they were not expecting huge crowds walking in from some kind of art festival in Avondale. I think this also made the bathrooms pretty nasty, and I'm sure they were caught off guard. Parking is available in the back, but limited, given they are located in downtown Avondale. Overall, would like to revisit to watch some games. Groupon alert! $15 off $30 or more, gratuity added though. You're welcome!

Yelp
A+ - my favorite local place. The food is very good, and my experience with service (mostly the bar but also outside) has been great. My favorite is the chicken Caesar wrap - with BACON - sometimes sub salmon. I really enjoy going there at least once a week. The fries are good and the veg of the day is frequently my top pick for a side. Faith, Stacy Marie and Jordan will always take good care of you. Kid friendly but you might not want to bring your kiddos after 830 on an otherwise quiet Tuesday and get super-po'd at the server for not getting your food for a table of 8 out in 30 minutes. The server was calm and tried to make it right. Don't worry, I tipped them for you.

Yelp
First time trying and we will be back - because we want to see this place succeed. There were pros and cons so here they are: Pros: lots of great TVs, a diverse menu, friendly staff, good beer selection Cons: food was only okay - we had smoked wings and buffalo tenders. The buffalo sauce is not my fav. I don't know how they did their wings but those were not smoked. Smoked wings are tender and the meat falls off the bones. These wings...the skin was like a plastic covering I could break off. Not good. The tenders were okay and seem fresh - i.e. don't seem like a simple Sysco drop and fry. But they weren't crispy. But lots of more things to try so we will be back. But as of now vibe is great and the food is average.

Yelp
Didn't know what to expect. We have been here when space was Palookaville. The food was excellent and fresh. I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and the bun was fresh the meat was tender, and the flavors were outstanding. The fries are really good, not mushy inside and not over cooked with just the right amount of crunch on the soutside. Welcome to the neighborhood, we will be back to try more items in the future.

Yelp
New to the area and I love pubs and especially pub food. What I ordered: Cup of French onion soup. Stop calling it French onion soup if you're melting cheap low quality Swiss cheese! Spend a few cents more and top it with real Gruyère cheese! The crouton should be firm still. Learn how to toast stale dry bread so it holds its texture on the soup. Not a soggy piece of rye bread! The onions were absolute mush! Way overcooked! The broth had zero flavor. Main: Bangers & Garlic Mash with a side of beans. Ice cold! Sent it back. The same food was brought to me. Only the surface of the food was warm. The center was still very cold. Sent it back again and told my server I was done! How very disappointing!!!
