The Stratus - Rooftop Bar Boston

Very cute Christmas decorations. Drinks are also cute but over priced. It's a small space with a few high top tables. Nice to go at least once for the experience. I didn't get any food so no insight on that.

If I can save anyone the price of the ticket, this will be my final societal contribution for 2025. Boston's Highest Holiday Rooftop Bar... the view at night was stunning, especially when you can detect the vivid Holiday exhibits against the city's lights. It is downhill from this....we were directed to walk in and" turn right". After we denoted WHICH RIGHT was correct, there was a series of blank spaces, elevators--essentially a maze that had me strategizing how I was going to negotiate an escape from potential traffickers! Once we finally arrived at the right place, there was a line. Why? You are attending a restaurant/bar and you expect to wait for drinks once you ARE AT THE BAR, but no. After the Escape Room intro, you are rewarded with waiting in line to get to the bar. My pal and I stood for 30 minutes as the resurrection of CV policies reared its unattractive head. 1 in, 1 out......You should expect to remain standing once you are allowed in, by the way. There is an actual bar and tables but both allow for approximately 20-25 seats COLLECTIVELY. After the way this experience began, I expected elves with cookies, photo booth opportunities or props, interactive nostalgia...I walked into the Dollar Tree [or $1.25 Tree ] and also saw decor...neither this nor the Stratus should be charging for holiday decorations I could have pulled up on Chat GPT. We could not even retrieve our photo from the one interactive element present and it seemed that the people after us were equally confused....this should be renamed The Confusion. Of ALL of the Holiday pop-ups in Boston, this was a total waste of admission and time. We were certainly high above the city, but this was hardly an elevated experience.

I was really disappointed with this holiday experience, especially considering the price. Paying $55 per person, I expected something well-organized, enjoyable, and worth the cost. Unfortunately, it didn’t come close to meeting those expectations. This was supposed to be something special, but instead it felt like a waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend this to others unless significant improvements are made or the price is lowered to match what’s actually offered. We had a 6 pm reservation and waited in a long line for 30 minutes. While the ticket said seating was first come, first serve, we understood this at seating at the bar not entering when given an entry and exit time. To top off waiting in this long line, when asked how many was in our group we said 3. We were then told only 2 could enter or they would skip us and move on to the next group. This could of been stated nicely, but it was said with unnecessary rudeness. Again wasn’t necessary. Two of us ended up entering while one stayed back. Once inside we noticed while seating was limited (and that was fine) there was no organization. How to get a drink. No space to order. And only 10 bar stools. The cost of this experience was truly not worth what was given. I hope in the future they can be more clear with how/what you should expect in this experience . All in all, they should not advertise reservation timing if they cannot allot for the reserved time.

Worth it for the views! Cocktails are little on the sweeter side. First-come first-serve seating. Recommend visiting during the sunset 🫡

Wonderful, we just had drinks and they were fantastic.

We had an exceptional experience. The bar is sophisticated and employs real mixologists and skilled professionals. This is all to say before mentioning the views. I am surprised to see reviews that say this place isn't amazing, it's a must go when traveling in Boston in my opinion

Casy was unbelievable; the hospitality and service here are unreal. What an experience. I have been waiting quite sometime for this spot to open. A must for anyone visiting or even if you are from the Boston area!!! The cocktail selection is one of the best in Boston!!!!!!!! Get here!

The bar was great, I hope there will be more non-alcoholic options too. Otherwise the atmosphere and whole experience was amazing. Thank you

Service was amazing! They had a menu of food options but we just grabbed a glass of wine to enjoy as we took in the views. It's cute space. The open-air terrace is amazing and love that you can grab a drink and enjoy the lounge several areas on the terrace, or even grab a bite if hungry. Just talking about the business, the service here is what stood out!

It's really great they have a bar in View Boston. I went with my mom before going to the exhibit part and it was a great call. Sadly it was really windy so we weren't able to go outside. The drinks were all around $18 and they were strong! They also have some snacks and dessert options here but I can only speak for the cocktails. The service was great and quick. It also has great views of the city! It does get busy, but we went around 2 pm on Saturday which was great because we got a seat and didn't wait long for our cocktails! Great space and looking forward to going back.

Food and drinks at Stratus was great. We had the crème brûlée which was amazing and I think that was the best crème brûlée that I have ever had. The Stratus is located at the top of the Prudential in Boston, where you are seeing views of Boston 360 views I should say because you can walk around and see all of Boston from the top so at the bar area you're able to sit down and have drinks have appetizers And enjoy the view. This was a great experience since this was my first time in Boston and I was also with my husband and so we had a great romantic evening, taking in the beautiful view of Boston. Our bartender was very friendly, shared the menu and took very good care of us.. If you are in the Boston area visiting, please make sure you check out the view. It's definitely a great experience to add to your trip while you're there.

Super nice view and ambiance with the seasonal decor for the winter season. $16 for a glass of wine is STEEP though but you just have to acknowledge where you are lmao. Busy but they control the amount of people so its never overwhelming

This bar capitalizes on the view... which it rightfully should. $25 for the privilege to take it all on during the winter months is a little steep, but when it's combined with a craft drink for $38, it somehow is more palatable. The drinks truly are delicious, especially when paired with their sweet and tangy wings. The service was ok, although the choice to have a singular bartender on a holiday for a tourist attraction was a curious choice. She was lovely, and doing her best, though it was obvious she was stretched. We had a lovely experience nonetheless. I can't wait to visit in the warmer months.

Came for the winter oasis and may be the worst service from a Bartender I've seen and my husband and I are both bartenders ourselves. Weren't even acknowledged for 15 minutes while she was making drinks for others around us it was literally like we werent even there. she didn't even look at us. she actually made drinks for the people standing behind the bar seats that came up 5 minutes after we sat down before us. When we asked if we could order some drinks she went 'Yup' definitely will never be back after that experience. We're in the business of hospitality I've ever seen anything like this. Extremely disappointed. Drinks were also not even good. I didn't catch her name but she needs an attitude adjustment

Unfortunately they were out of the ingredients to make the Candy Cane Forest drink. However, the Snow Miser and Blanco Bear were wicked tasty. We also ordered the Prosciutto Wrapped Scallops and the Baked Brie - all the appetizers were so good! I absolutely loved the Brie. The restaurant was so festive and beautiful. It was hard to decide if it was more beautiful inside or outside on the deck looking over all of Boston. Our server didn't seem extremely happy to be at work, but it didn't really take away from our experience.

Obviously a very cool spot for the view.... Kind of have to if you're traveling- the bar is alright, it aims for fancy and prices that way... I wanted a drink to soak in the view but the bar wasn't my favorite part

I had a great time at stratus a couple weeks ago! I only got one drink but it came garnished with a little rubber ducky which I thought was adorable. I took my drink out to the 360 patio and sipped while I took in views. There are little couches set up in the outdoor section which worked out great. I hope they put up heaters so this can be enjoyed in the colder weather to come!

Even though it drizzling when we arrived, we had a very pleasant time sitting at the bar where Jay, the bartender, was serving us and others. He offered creativity when anything in the menu didn't work for us. Very pleasant to talk to and great service! We got the Dirty Water Margarita rimmed with Tajin and I'm glad we can taste the tequila since I enjoy its flavor. The cayenne imparted a nice heat that rounded out the drink. Since Old Fashioned wasn't present in the menu, we asked if he could make it and he offered to smoke it! Not just once, but twice! He mentioned since the large ice cube will absorb smoke, he infused it during the finish and it was very pleasing. We didn't feel as though there were too much smoke overtones but rather was nicely balanced, although leaning towards more smokiness that we liked. Will have to come back when the weather is sunnier to take in the overall experience!

Lounge at the top of View Boston. Great bartender, delicious drinks and obviously the views are amazing. I thought they were very reasonable price wise for where you are!

Very new bar on top of Prudential building. We bought the package including the View and one drink. Service at the bar was excellent. Drinks were decent. View was breathtaking. Definitely worth a visit

Stratus, and the rest of View Boston offer amazing 360 degree views of Boston. It really can't be beat. With that said, you are paying for that view in the food/bar menu. $24 for an Old Fashioned is a little steep, but considering the view from atop the Prudential Center, I would still say it's well worth the $. Service was friendly and there was a decent amount of seating. We had no trouble finding a couch outside to take in the Boston skyline.

WOW! I visited Stratus on Thursday July 13th on my birthday and all I can say is wow. Visited around 5/6pm and was not crowded at all. Felt like I was literally in heaven with the views and aesthetic, it was also a gorgeous day, sun was shining, nice breeze. I literally felt like I was on vacation far away. We lounged on the couches if we were at a resort. Super chill everyone was relaxing. The bar staff was awesome. This is the place to be all around amazing. As we were getting ready to leave it started to get busier, but definitely a must if you can sneak in earlier before the crowd. Will definitely be retuning.
