The Sub Marina

First off, let me tell you the bread was fantastic. They make it in house daily. Game changer. Secondly, it is like a glorified Subway with better ingredients. Like a typical sub shop, you tell them what sandwich you want and then add the veggies and other stuff you want on them. I asked for them to surprise me with my sandwich and she did a great job! I thought mine was great. My wife got a sandwich with I believe ham but her only complaint was that the bottom part of her sandwich got soggy because of the oil and vinegar seeping through. We will definitely return again and try different things. Overall, I would give it 4.6 out of 5.

I always like to start with positives and then go from there. Positives, the size of the sub and the amount of meat and toppings that come on said sub, so much so if you get a large to adults, can share one large by splitting . the workers were very efficient and pleasant to talk to. They were very friendly. Finally, the menu is set up pretty simple and easy to understand and with only having a regular and a large size sub it just makes the ordering process pretty simple straightforward. Negatives, the large subs start out at $15 and I think they hover around that price, I bought three subs and only the subs no chips or drinks and it cost $50 basically so you have to be prepared for the cost. I hate to say this, but even with their sub sauce the sandwiches were kind of bland in the bread and meat just didn’t get much flavor. Recap on the whole place, will I eat there again yes, it is good enough and with the amount of food that you do get, I’ll give it another shot .

Very cool interior with a unique design style compared to the rest of the area. My wife and I ate here prior to going to the Republic pool that is relatively new. We were looking for a good sandwich to eat, and this place delivered! We both got the submarina sandwich and it was very tasty, they definitely stay busy, when we were in there it took about 10 to 15 minutes just to get up to order. Other than that the food and experience was great!

I judge on three factors. 1) cleanliness 2) reception 3) overall food evaluation This place hit on all three! 100% recommend! I had two sammiches to make sure I got to taste it all! The bread is amazing! Totally need to get one in Springfield

10/10 would recommend. I got the Captain sub, my boyfriend got The Dive sub, and we got a side of chips and queso. I forgot to take a picture because we were busy eating. But it was amazing 👏. They have 3 separate seating areas which helps with the noise and not being in the way of the line. Plenty of seating, and the decor is super cute! There was a long line, but there are menus to look at and the line moved pretty fast.

We go to the Sub-Marina in Shell Knob and were excited to see they are in Republic. Love the sandwiches! high quality, great taste, way more more meat than the competition... so good! Went to the Republic location for the first time, the young lady working was as friendly as could be. I was so impressed with how nice she was, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! The place is super clean and very well decorated. I will go again for sure. I highly recommend The Sub-Marina!

Such a good sandwich. The bread was super soft and delicious. The staff was super friendly. Service was quick too. If you want a good sandwich this is the place. I will be coming back to try the different stuff they offer. Great value for the kids sandwich meal as well.

Great sub shop! The large was filling and a good price for a non-chain sandwich shop. Would definitely eat here again. Service was prompt and friendly 😄
