Came here with friends for the omakase. They've been bragging about this place for months. $78 gives you 7 dishes. Everything ranging from uni, monk fish, toro, oyster, yellowtail, fatty tuna, scallops, ikura, flying fish, carpaccio. All the fish is super fresh imported from Japan daily. We had to book in advance to reserve our table and the omakase. Chef Peter and his staff were brilliant. Sushi here is very different and he described each intricate dish. His philosophy is to make each fish have a memorable taste that is unique and can only be found here. You can tell that the chefs here put in extra creativity when it comes to making each dish. Even basic miso soup was seasoned differently and had mussels. His staff was very friendly, efficient and entertaining. I'll def be back throughout the year when he orders special fish only available 1-2 weeks out of the year. If your a sushi lover try the omakase. The 2 hour dining experience is something you won't regret and you'll leave wanting more. If you want the fun rolls they're reasonably priced here. Restaurant is small I wouldn't recommend for large parties. We came her on a Friday night and the wait was not long.

Fabulous Sushi...the fish is very fresh and the presentation is really good. Update: Came back for my birthday in early January 2020 and still impressed with the food. The staff is very friendly as well. Thanks!

Sushi was alright, didn't really have a taste to them. The fatty tuna or the salmon didn't have the buttery taste to them. The other sashimi was ok, nothing to write home about. Presentation was nice though (sashimi deluxe 14pcs). Definitely would prefer another place for late night sushi. We also ordered the jasmine green tea old fashioned, didn't taste anything like tea or had tea flavor. Other then that, the baked mussels with scallops were really good (comes with 4 mussels)!

Shoot! They do have an amazing happy hour, but the sushi was really rough. The rolls were a little Safeway-esq. First the fish didn't seem to be of the best quality. The rolls themselves were a tad tossed together, and you could actually watch them make it which reinforced the thought. I really wanted to like the rolls. The service was great. The options for beverages was also wide and nice. The environment was solid, except for the intermittent wafting of BBQ.

Best sushi we've had in the DC area! Their Happy hour is from 5-7pm with $3 Kirin Ichiban and $4 classic sushi rolls. Seriously good sushi. Perfect date night spot since all customers have to be 18+. Jake the bartender/server is the best and I've never had better customer service. DEFINITELY going to be a frequent customer.

First off, no kids allowed. 18 and up only may dine here. Wonderful. The sushi is fresh and creative, it's just not my style. Nothing is wrong with it. Everything was on point. I like simpler rolls and this place goes for the fancy. Go here, you'll probably like it.

Very nice sushi and very friendly staff, giving it an almost homely atmosphere. We will definitely come back!
