Top ranked sushi! Great selection and the flavors were amazing. The Monkey brain app was killer! The absolute best app I’ve had at a sushi restaurant. Small dining area but cozy. This is a don’t miss.

This sushi place has the most amazing fried rice! When you mix it with the spicy mayo and eel sauce its just heavenly. The sushi it self its great the taste the way its post together and they are big rolls. The ginger salad was really good and so was the miso soup, service is fast and very well priced, we were very pleased.

Hands down the best sushi spot in the area (and in the surrounding areas). I wasn't expecting it to be so great, but the reviews are spot-on. We tried a couple different items - California Roll, Wonder Salmon Roll, Alaskan Roll (not pictured, I ordered it to-go), and Love Roll. Everything was amazing and fresh. Of the four we tried, I highly recommend the Wonder Salmon Roll; it was delicious. I want to try a lot more things, so I plan on making the trip (about 40 minutes) several more times in the near future. It's absolutely worth the drive. The place is small, but clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I honestly can't say enough great things about this place and I absolutely highly recommend it. It has a large enough menu that everyone will find something they like. Also, a neighboring table ordered the Love Boat and it looked so pretty that I asked if I could take a photo... so, we did not order it nor try anything off it it; the photo was purely for its beauty and my Google review. For what it's worth, the couple who ordered it really seemed to enjoy it and ate about 95% of it.

The BEST sushi in Detroit! The omakase was out of this world! Kudos to the chef - every course was a delight to the palate, and we couldn't stop being amazed by every little dish that came out. Also, our server was very nice and so pleasant to talk to. The house was packed but we noticed that she attended to every person like they were the only ones there. Thank you so much for the wonderful dinner experience! We will definitely come back :)

I took my boys (12&4) here for dinner tonight. Our waitress, Maria, was absolutely amazing!! It was my boys’ first time trying sushi and they loved it! They had the kids bento boxes and also tried the Lobster Cigar and Salmon on the Beach. The food, service, and food presentation were great! Overall we had an excellent experience and will be back!

The vegan omakase here was absolutely incredible—fresh, delicious, beautiful, and affordable. A charming atmosphere with friendly & accommodating waitstaff completes what is easily my new favorite sushi destination. Can't wait to go back!

A friend and I opted to dine together on an early Saturday evening, trying this establishment for the first time. We must have beat the dinner crowd, because it was fairly quiet, calm, and peaceful. The restaurant is smaller, cozy, and clean. The server was extremely friendly, conversational, and bright. She validated our orders, insisting we selected delicious options, and checked on us throughout our time. The food was fresh, colorful, and perfectly portioned! The presentation is stunning, with vibrant plates, decorative flowers, and designed placement. From the pleasant dining space, to the tasty options, and the caring staff, I would highly recommend The Sushi Bar!

I've ordered through DoorDash a few times and my husband and I decided to dine in Tonight. The food was 10/10! The lobster cigars were so good! The plating was impressive and everything was clean and neat. And the service was great! Day was very attentive. She brought us refills well before our drinks were empty, she waited until we had cleared our appetizers before bringing our rolls and she was all around friendly. Highly recommend dining in!
