The 25 Food and Drink Trends Taking Over Restaurants in 2018 | Bon Appétit

"In the past, if a restaurant had great branding, I might buy a T-shirt. These days I find myself standing outside after a meal, holding a sticker, a hat, a magnet, and a tote bag, asking myself, “Should I run back in to grab another matchbook?” I’m not sure when restaurant design got so compelling, but I do know that most of my favorite swag comes from one place:Office of Brothers, the Atlanta design agency founded by Alvin Diec and Travis Ekmark (get to know them here). Their quirky illustrations and scripted typefaces have a casual elegance as satisfying as the food served by their clients, which include Asheville’sBuxton Hall Barbecue(aBAHot 10 alum), Atlanta’sGolden Eagle, andRose Foodsof Portland, Maine.—Alex Delany, associate editorRead the full story here." - ByThe Bon Appétit Staff

Stopped in to get cleaned up before visiting family for Thanksgiving. Howard got me right into a chair and did a cut and beard trim. Happy to support this business!

AMAZING experience! Definitely make an appointment and pick up some merch while there!

Visiting from Toronto and had to make my way here. The barbers made me feel real welcome, even though I was fan-girling hard on their boss 😊 Definitely a spot to check out, especially if you're a Killer Mike/Run the Jewels fan.

I was impressed with the shop and the environment. I asked for a drop fade and put that in my notes when I booked online. The barber cut the top of my head perfectly, beard on point! Showed me the mirror but had my chair turned sideways so I just looked at the front and the beard and was impressed as we carried a conversation. Got home and looked again and he cut the back completely off and gave me a regular fade but the top looks like the beginning of the drop fade. I tipped $25 bucks because I care about people who provide service to the community. He could have spoken up so that I could have gotten something else since he mistakenly cut off my hair. It’s my fault for trusting who I thought was a professional but wow I expected more. I had planned on coming back but can’t trust it.

Very disappointed, drove an hour to come here because I'm a fan of Mike, and he speaks about the unique experience. Unfortunately this is just a regular hood shop. Signed up for cut and hot towel experience, Harold the barber wasn't interested so i only got a cut, which was good. Harold also over charged me. Online and the board on the wall said $25 adults, $15 kids. Harold said those prices are old and wanted to debate what was advertised. Charged me $35 and $25 for my 2 kids each. The barbers in the shop were very rude to customers, played explicit music with bad language with kids in the shop and barbers spoke with profanity as well. Parking is difficult at this location as well.

I won’t be going back here again. This was my first and last time. The cut was okay. The price was too much for what I got out of it. The barber was very impersonal and rushed my haircut. He didn’t put any type of spray on it after the haircut. He didn’t even put alcohol/antiseptic on all of the areas he cut. Ended up paying $36, including tip. I feel ripped off. I didn’t even get the hot towel treatment as described on their website. He also kept my back to the mirror for the entire time and didn’t follow instructions.

First time at the swag shop, visiting Atlanta to see Run the Jewels so I definitely had to stop by. Rob was my barber, and he did a fantastic job. The man working the register/merch who chatted with me while I waited was great, too. I'll be back next time I'm in the ATL! Thanks Rob!
