The Sweet Spot brings favorites from Asia, Europe, and Latin America | Eater Vegas

"An upgraded take on the familiar boba-dessert-shop formula on Spring Mountain Road, this Chinatown Plaza ground-floor outlet offers globally inspired, highly customizable sweet and savory items for dine-in or to-go. Crepes and Belgian and Hong Kong waffles are listed at $5.98 each (fillings like orange marmalade, gelato, kiwi, banana peppers, ham, turkey, chicken, or sausage cost extra), and gelato features unusual flavors such as black sesame, avocado, taro, and pandan leaf with young coconut. The menu also includes Vietnamese and traditional-style sandwiches alongside larger dessert creations like S’mores, dulce de leche, and the $7.98 “La Classique” prepared with Nutella, strawberries, and bananas. A variety of snacky sides—cheese curds, jalapeño poppers, deep-fried tofu, popcorn chicken—and a $5.95 “elotes en vaso” round out the offerings. Hours are early mornings through late nights on weekdays (opens 5:00 a.m., closes 10:30 p.m.; 12:30 a.m. closing on Friday) and later weekend starts (opens 7:00 a.m., closes 12:30 a.m. Saturday and 10:30 p.m. Sunday)." - Bradley Martin

The Sweet Spot is a dessert shop in Chinatown Plaza on Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas. It opened in 2019 and is owned by Tiffany T., who combined her love of sweets and handmade accessories to create a space that’s part café, part boutique.

Wow. Ok guys. Here is the real review. All the reviews and pics looked awesome, came in and there was 4 flavors of gelato almost all empty, so went for the crepes. They were just bland and ok, got a side of icecream wasn’t anymore then 2 spoon fulls and the water cup was a gulp. There is seatings for 3, and lots of jewelry for sale… after a $20 taxi ride here and $30 for 2 crepes ….. you do the math

There were no gelato flavors, and the ice cream I ordered tasted weird and grainy. I threw away most of it as it was gross. The spoon was a sample spoon, tiny. The shop is cluttered with stuff to buy like knock off name-brand jewelry and keychains. I don’t understand the high reviews. Maybe the have more selections if it was a weekend? Won’t be coming back.

Visiting Vegas & this place was on my to go list for some dessert. The restaurant is very small with only 4 seats for customers but the interior design was absolutely beautiful. The lady that took my order was very sweet. My crepes were beautiful and delicious. I got the strawberry banana chocolate crepe and it was amazing. They were made fresh, the wait wasn't long. Definitely recommend the crepes. The ice cream that came with the crepes was good, I just wish I chose the vanilla one instead.

We stopped into The Sweet Spot for some desserts and wow were our expectations exceeded. The restaurant is very small with only 4 seats for customers, 3 of which were taken when our party of 5 arrived. The wait was worth it, our crepes were beautiful and delicious. I got the strawberry banana Nutella crepe and it was delightful. The two who got the lemon crepes raved about it as well. They were all made fresh, so it took a bit to get our orders with the drinks for our party and two other parties behind us coming out long before our crepes, but the wait wasn't overwhelming. Definitely recommend the crepes. The ice cream that came with the crepes was okay but not the star of the show by far.

Small desserts shop next to 99 ranch… good Boba tea options, and they even serve crêpes…

I went with my mom with the thought the look of the place is like the pictures. You step into a glass case right in front on the counter when you step in. All ice cream containers are empty like there was no supply stock. We were advised to just order from the wall menu. I still tried it out. We got the Rose milk tea and Lavender milk tea with almond milk. Mine with boba. I am a boba enthusiast. Sorry, but I did not like my drink taste and drinks are in a standard plain clear plastic to-go cup with lid and straw. No logo, nothing special at all. We were very unimpressed and disappointed. Both regular sized drinks total $14.95. We will not be coming back here.

WOW! I was not expecting to find the best gelato I've ever had in this sweet little spot in Chinatown. Tiffany and her staff are wonderful, and talked us through samples of every flavor of gelato. They make it all from scratch, and are not kidding when they say they use top-quality ingredients. The gelato is insanely creamy and smooth, has just the right amount of sweetness, and will have you desperate for more. You really can't go wrong with any of the amazing varieties. Don't miss the toasted black sesame flavor (gorgeous gray color), the jasmine tea flavor, and the pistachio flavor made with real, imported pistachio and no almonds as filler! As delicious as the gelati were, I think our favorite part was Tiffany's excitement and pride in her product. She dedicated her time and love to telling us all about her shop, her products, and her process. Our experience was nothing short of spectacular and delightful. We will definitely be back very SOON!
