15 Best Brunch Restaurants in San Jose and the South Bay Area | Eater SF

"At a quaint location in Willow Glen, the Table serves farm-to-table food made with seasonal ingredients. Inspired by the Gramercy Tavern in New York City, the designers behind the restaurant aimed to cultivate a modern but intimate aura, complete with ample patio dining. Along with classics like a breakfast plate and eggs Benedicts in various renditions, the restaurant is known for its creative cocktails and progressive wines. The corned beef and hash is the chef’s signature dish, a savory medley of Yukon gold potato, poblano peppers onion, egg, and hollandaise sauce." - Dianne de Guzman

It was not an easy decision for me to leave a negative review, but I would be more than happy to revisit it if I receive a thoughtful response from the restaurant. My intention is simply to share my honest experience in the hope of helping this restaurant improve, and nothing more. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, and I would like to feel safe and welcome when I bring my friends here, no matter what skin colors they are. Everyone deserves to be treated with the same respect and attention. I’ve lived in the U.S. for over a decade, and I honestly never expected that dining out would one day come with the worry of being treated differently. Unfortunately, our experience with the service left us feeling uncomfortable. To start, the front desk initially didn’t want to seat us outdoors, despite plenty of available tables. Right after she seated the group ahead of us (a white couple), I pointed out, “there are plenty of tables outside,” which made her feel awkward and eventually led her to seat us outdoors. Secondly, our waitress did not greet us at all throughout the entire meal. She only appeared to take our order, without any greeting or eye contact. She didn’t bother to refill our water or check in on us, while she spent time small-talking and joking with other tables. I didn’t even have a chance to tell her that my husband’s dish was cold. At the end, we tried to get her attention several times to ask for the check—my husband spoke to her directly, and I made eye contact twice—but we were consistently overlooked as she attended to other tables. Eventually, I decided to speak with the manager. The manager was generous—she comped our bill and offered us dessert, which we truly appreciated. I could tell she wanted to make things right, and I’m grateful for her efforts. However, the interaction felt rushed, and she didn’t seem to speak with our server at all about our feedback. When she came to our table, she didn’t ask my husband for his feedback, which only added to our lingering feeling of being unintentionally dismissed. I’m not sharing this to complain or seek anything more—we’ve already received compensation. I’m leaving this review in the hope that the restaurant will reflect on how it treats all guests, and especially how moments of discomfort can leave a lasting impression. As I mentioned earlier, I would like to feel safe and welcome when I bring my friends here in the future, no matter what skin colors they are. I look forward to hearing a response from the restaurant.

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance and the friendly staff set the tone for a good experience. The tostada had a crunchy texture with a variety of flavors, and the fried chicken burger with the toasted buns tasted great! The chocolate cake could have been a little less dry. Each dish was beautifully presented. The service was very attentive, and the overall vibe was relaxed.

Google
Great location and atmosphere. Pretty cool patio. The service was great - our server, Erica, was awesome. We had the special strawberry salad, the special black cod and John’s Bolognese. The strawberry salad was nice and refreshing. Unfortunately, the black cod and the bolognese were both under seasoned, which was a bummer.

Celebrating an anniversary at the Table Restaurant, the scallops and lamb specialties were satisfying, and the lemon curd sweetbreads were particularly good. Cocktails were good, the pomegranate hibiscus was tart and the almond cream pudding was delicious. The beignets were not authentic, but the crêpes with lemon curd were still good. Overall a good experience and worth a return visit.

This place is flipping amazing and you need to come immediately! This little town is super cute! It’s called Willow Glen and is like 8 minutes from the San Jose airport and where we were spending our last night of a long weekend trip. The little down is adorable. The food, vibe, service were fabulous! We were promptly seated, were given water and an option for bread at the table or not. Our server was excellent and we enjoyed a great glass of Zinfandel while looking over the dinner menu. There is something for everyone on this menu. We opted for Half a roast chicken and the Cioppino. Both were excellent but the Cioppino was the Star! Excellent portion, fresh variety of seafood and the crunchy toasted baguette with garlic was heaven. We finished with a cappuccino and the flourless almond cake, with pineapple and gelato. I hope you go and enjoy this lovely place and great food.

We had a lovely dining experience at The Table, marked by thoughtful service and a menu that offered a variety of well-executed dishes. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which stood out with its crispy exterior and a subtle but satisfying heat from the Sriracha honey glaze. The chicken itself was tender, though a bit on the fattier side than I prefer. I did find myself wishing for more of that sweet and spicy sauce—it tied the sandwich together beautifully and could’ve taken it to the next level with a more generous portion. Service was also a strong point. The staff were polite, attentive, and efficient. We were greeted and seated quickly, and dishes came out in a timely manner without feeling rushed. Overall, The Table delivered on flavor, hospitality, and atmosphere. A solid spot for a thoughtful, well-prepared meal—I'll definitely be returning to try more of the menu.

We had a nice meal here but nothing stood out to us unfortunately. Maybe my expectations were too high? The melon and prosciutto was a miss since the melon was cut way too big and wasn’t ripe enough. Roasted carrots and scallops were good. Lamb meatballs were fine. I enjoyed the cocktails and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

Came here on a recommendation from local AirBnB. Was not disappointed! It was Sr Patrick’s day during Nvidia GtC so the place was bumping from bot locals and folks like myself in town for the conference. They ran out of the non-Guinness stout sadly as what they had on tap was delicious! I marked the food a 4 instead of five for two reasons. The ceviche was extreamly bland, which was odd given they mentioned explicitly it had peanut in it. I tasted no peanut. It was basically generic white fish in citrus and mild(?) salsa mix. Pretty underwhelming. The bread they brought out made up for it… instead of butter, it came with olive oil and ricotta cheese much was de-lich-ous! The second reason I mention 4 stars instead of 5 was the steak… which was awesome but was NOT medium rare. Was close to medium. I bet it would have been even better with some red left. Over all Greta place to eat and wild definitely recommend. Thanks to my AirBnB folks for the recommendation!

Yelp
Me and my family came and the food was so good it took some time to arrive but once it did everything was worth the wait and the customer service was great as well!!

Yelp
I have literally been coming to this restaurant for years and probably have been here over ten times. This place is excellent and casually elegant. The last time I visited for my birthday our servers Patty and Mara were so kind. All of the food was excellent, trendy, and fresh. I got to try my first Pavolva which was a beautiful experience and every time I go I need to also get a Frose cocktail. Keep up the amazing work!

Yelp
Absolutely love the table! One of my favorite go-to spots. While I always to take a picture of their burger, I have to share that it's a must try. The best pairings for the burger would have to be their French fries - I don't know how they make the outside so crunchy but the inside so soft - but I'm glad they do. Can't go wrong with a nice thick cut. I'm not the biggest fan of kale, but the kale Caesar salad is amazing here. I've had it with chicken before and I've had it with fish as well. You really cannot go wrong. The kale really gives the classic Caesar salad a nice twist, a touch of bitterness that I didn't realize I'd like but find my self comparing to other places. Their ceviche is also really great, made with rock cod. I have found that whenever I order fish here it's always really good however nothing compares to their Chilean Seabass. I'm honestly also a really big fan of their tomato soup with the twist to the grilled cheese that comes with it. Service care can be both fast and slow, so make sure you plan ahead to make reservations. They do take walk-ins but this place is so popular. It's just nice to call ahead or come in earlier, put your name on the list and take a walk down the street. This place is super casual. You can sit inside or outside. Either way it's gonna be a good time.

Yelp
The Table is conveniently located with plenty of parking available. The restaurant has an open layout with a few tables inside. When we walked in for a weekday brunch, we were immediately seated. Our server was very nice and attentive. Here's what we ordered: - **Lemon Ricotta Pancakes**: 4/5These come as two pieces with raspberry on top and lemon sauce drizzled on it. The pancakes are soft but heavy and fluffy at the same time. The lemon curd is sweet and tangy. They are truly perfect. - **Salmon Benedict**: 5/5This dish also came with hashbrowns, which were crispy and delicious. The salmon on top of the eggs was just right, and we even asked for extra salmon. - **Avocado Toast**: 5/5Another favorite. The avocado was fresh, the bread was perfect, and the arugula on top made for a healthy yet tasty breakfast. I also tried their Ube oat milk. 3/5. It was okay, though a bit too sweet for my taste. I had to ask for extra oat milk because I couldn't really taste the ube. Despite this, it was still enjoyable. Overall, I would say this restaurant is great. The service is good, the location is perfect, and the food is excellent. Portions are well-sized, and while it might be a bit on the pricey side, I will definitely come back when I am in the area.

Yelp
Came here because Forthright Campbell shut down permanently... TERRIBLE NEWS. I had the pleasure meeting the person who managed forthright and now at the table. Brought smiles and warmth to our table. Thank you! This place is bringing some of the dishes from forthright to the table. Just like the bolognese!! The amazing squiggly pasta in tomato/carrot based creamy sauce. YUM! Service was immaculate. *10/10* Food was *chefs kiss*

Yelp
The Table is my favorite restaurant for brunch. I love their food, service and overall vibe. I've been here numerous times. I had their eggs Benedict (classic & salmon), traditional breakfast, beignets and their bottomless mimosas. Not sure why I never wrote a review before. Better late than never. This review is based on my most recent visit. I ordered the chicken fried steak (country gravy, hash browns and my choice of poached eggs). For drinks, I had their coffee and my best friend wanted to buy me a drink, so I got the pink ranger. The chicken was moist, but a little too fried for my liking. I was surprised at the size of it. Gravy was not thick, but more on the thin consistency side. The pink ranger was delicious. It had a citrus and sweet taste. They did went overboard on the ice. Staff were efficient, helpful and attentive. Place is spacious with indoor and outdoor dining. There is also a bar. Overall, this visit was a solid 4 out of 5. Not every visit is going to be a 5 in my opinion. I love the place enough to keep coming back.

Yelp
I went out with my friends for brunch on a Sunday right when it opened up. Parking is limited in the back, so come early to snag a spot! It was not busy at first but later filled up once brunch time hit. The inside was nice and lively, I loved the decor. As for food, we got a yogurt parfait, pancakes, smoked salmon, classic eggs benedict, and chilaquiles. The food was delicious and great! Super filling in the end too.

Yelp
Great food and cocktail, great service (thanks Erica!) and prime location (Downtown Willow Glen.) There is indoor and patio seating (although at some point the sun was poking through but it would be nice if they could provide a little better sun shade or at least outdoor ceiling fans to improve comfort) and a nice comfortable, modern feel to the place.

Yelp
Came here for the first time on 7/10 after work. Located on Lincoln Street in the Willow Glen area. There's limited parking directly behind The Table but you can find street parking in the neighborhood or in the parking garage across the way. There is either indoor seating or outdoor seating. Very cool inside considering there was a heatwave in the area. Came here during happy hour which ends at 5:30pm during the week. I got the potato wedges, tangy popcorn chicken, and the burger. The happy hour food came out pretty fast after ordering. At first, we didn't get the free bread but noticed everyone else getting it, so we just asked and received it. The difference between the happy hour burger and the dinner burger is that the dinner burger comes with wedges but the happy hour doesn't. Food was good nonetheless. The wedges and dip were okay. Wished the wedges were a bit more crispy on the outside. The tangy chicken was not at all spicy, which I like. I don't do spicy but this was manageable. To end it, I got the beignets. Warm lemon curd and warm beignets. They were good. Note: Starting August 1, 2024, The Table will start charging an additional 3% if you pay with credit card. No additional charge if you pay with a debit card.

Yelp
Came to The Table the other night for a dinner with coworkers. The service was fantastic! 5 stars ++ The food that we ordered "and there was a lot of it all came out in a timely fashion even the drinks and we must've ordered a good 30 drinks came out super fast! We ordered at least 4 appetizers.... Some kind of mild peppers, grilled tuna, meat balls and potatoes "all were excellent " 5 stars" I ordered the 9 oz steak with cubed potatoes and I believe it was Mexican ham. The steak itself I don't think was a quality cut of beef as it was chewy "at med rare" and had some big fat pieces on it as well, the flavor was excellent however "3 stars" I tried wifeys halibut, I thought it was good however there was an overpowering taste of Dijon imo 2 stars as well. I ordered a Moscow mule, they gave me a lime wedge with it on the side if the glass... um... it's supposed to be muddled at the bottom of the clash before you pour the ingredients in 2.5 stars for the Moscow Mule. I also ordered a Bailey's coffee with homemade whipping cream ""this one hit the mark" the whipping cream was outstanding and so was the drink 5 stars. Overall "imo" the service is outstanding, the appetizers are outstanding, the main dishes and drinks however are a hit and miss. 3.5 overall rating.

Yelp
Had a great night out. Service was great. Surprisingly the food was just okay. The flavors seemed muted, not sure if they're catering to a crowd the doesn't enjoy their food to pop. Would visit again someday.

Yelp
I went to this popular brunch place on a Saturday with a friend, and we were seated within 5 minutes. We chose to sit outside and had a great time. The staff was helpful and attentive, and the food was delicious, although nothing extraordinary. They had a great deal on bottomless mimosas, allowing us to chat for over half an hour without feeling rushed to eat, pay, and leave. The prices were a bit higher than average, but considering the location and popularity of the place, it was to be expected. If you can afford it, it's a great option to hang out with friends and have a good time. There aren't many vegetarian options, but the egg white frittata (seasonal vegetables, arugula salad, lemon vinaigrette, and feta) is really good and filling.

Yelp
Came here for brunch on a Friday afternoon with 2 other friends. The inside is decorated quite nicely and the ambiance is very cute for brunch. Our waiter was friendly and helpful and checked up on us alot. We ordered this non alcoholic drink with guava and ginger beer (can't remember the name) but we added vodka to it haha. It was delicious. I ordered the avocado crab toast. To be honest I don't think it's worth it for how much you get. The crab was definitely lacking, it was super light but and was still hungry after. It was nice to try but don't think I would get it again. My friend got the chilaquiles and my other friend got the lemon ricotta pancakes. Both were delicious and the pancakes were so fluffy. I may come back with friends for brunch but would opt to try to eggs Benedict or something.

Yelp
Came by for dinner the other night was a tasty and delightful experience. The Table is located in downtown Willow Glen with plenty of street parking around the restaurant. Dining is available indoors, or on the heated patio. Made a reservation for dinner and our table was ready upon arrival. Some of the staff wore a disposable glove and others were quite talented. Some even wore lingual braces. Staff were all super helpful and cordial. Our waitress started off by going over the changes to the menu as well as going over the daily specials. Started off with the Acme bread and it was tasty, especially with the side of olive oil, cheese, and salt dip. The tuna tataki appetizer was seared to perfection and the flavors were quite unique. Moved on to the lean cod over mushroom and asparagus risotto and it was a tasty entree. The highlight of the meal would have been the squid ink pasta with seafood, which featured huge assortment of seafood along with some pasta cooked al dente.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in downtown Willow Glen, a scenic and lively area. I like that there is indoor seating and outdoor seating available. (For dog owners: Yes, I've seen dogs out on their patio). I arrived here during happy hour last weekend and I was surprised to find no wait! I've heard this place can be busy on the weekends, so maybe I got lucky. My partner and I were seated immediately and our server was friendly. This was my first visit, so I had no idea what to expect. I ordered the fried crispy chicken sandwich with no ranch or pickles. It was smaller than I expected, similar to the size of a slider but the size of the fried chicken was bigger than the bun. I really enjoyed the sriracha honey it came with, it paired well with the fried chicken! I also ordered the potato wedges, which came out hot and tasty! I tried the wedges with its dip, but the dip wasn't for me. However, I would order both of these items again! I asked our server for a recommendation that was on the "sweeter" side from their "featured cocktails" section and they recommended "sun's out bun's out". It was a good recommendation. I enjoyed it, it was a fruity pineapple drink. Overall, this place had a nice vibe and I'm open to returning if the opportunity arises!
google avatar

Irene L.

Yelp
It gets pretty busy on the weekends so be ready to wait! I don't believe they take reservations but they do have waitlist in person. It's nice that this is located downtown Willow Glen so you can walk around while waiting to get seated. I haven't been back to this location in like a decade so it's nice to see that business is still booming. They have a great menu full of variety. Recommend checking out their bottomless mimosas! Highly recommend considering the server's recommendations because we went with most of the items and we really enjoyed it! Service is attentive and fast. The ambiance and vibes are really good for groups.
google avatar

Alyson E.

Yelp
came here on a friday night with reservations and i highly recommend making them. this place fills up fast! i did notice it was a tight squeeze between tables so no strollers here. also didn't see kids at this time. tables are somewhat on the small side and i needed to place my bag in my lab and leave my phone off the table. lots of people in here and it gets loud pretty fast. plenty of large groups and dates happening. i could hear all their conversations! food was pretty and served quickly. serving size was average and cost was a bit pricey but the ingredients justify the hike. if you want a date night or a special event dinner i recommend this place for the atmosphere. the food didn't wow me but the end price did

Yelp
When my girlfriend and I went here, it was so incredibly underwhelming. The hostess was near terrible. She did not seem all that inviting and just rushed us to our table. Once she placed down the menus at our table, she walked away without looking at us. She didn't say "here's your table" or "hope you enjoy" or anything at all. There wasn't anyone behind us at all either! The place wasn't busy at all. A good amount of empty tables around. The place is so crowded. All the tables are so close to each other that you could hear everyone's conversations. The food was pretty forgettable. The chicken fried steak was really dry and the gravy on top hardly saved it. Flavor wise it was okay. The hashbrowns looked soggy and was okay tasting. The Mary's roasted chicken was the worst one. Really under flavored and not a good choice at all. It is bland and only so little portions. I would say the saving grace would be our incredible server (I'm so sorry I forgot his name but I think he had a beard and maybe Latino) . He was very nice and helped the best he could. The sardine toast was also very good. It had a good balance of sweet and savory. It was not fishy tasting at all. The pancake was really good too. Really it's more of the lemon syrup they have that's really addicting. Overall do not get the hype of this place.
google avatar

Andrea G.

Yelp
We came on Friday for a 5 pm reservation. We arrived early so we waited at the bar and ordered amazing cocktails. We were promptly seated at 5 for our reservation. We ordered the charcuterie, ceviche and crab salad for our apps and then our main entrees. The 3 stars is for the food and the 4th star is because the cocktails were tasty. The service at the bar and for dinner was lack luster. The restaurant inside was cute however the tables are too many and way too close to one another for my liking.
google avatar

Cuong N.

Yelp
Great bar in my neighborhood! I go there to hang and have a few drinks with my buddies sometime. Never disappointed about the cocktails! The bartenders are super friendly!
google avatar

Rosey Y.

Yelp
I always drive by this location when I go to my partner's salon Kayla Nails in Willow Glen. It's always busy and buzzing here! Decided to meet a new girlfriend here for some brunch and mimosas. The vibes here were lovely. Buzzing with joy and good vibes on a Saturday noon. The waiter was nice. We got bottomless mimosas. I ordered their salmon Benedict and she got their avocado crab toast. I enjoyed the bottomless mimosas. It was a good balance of bubbles and orange juice. I drank an adequate amount to where I felt tipsy so that was good. It's worth the buck. As for the smoked salmon Benedict, unfortunately I was highly disappointed. I don't know how to quite describe it but it was disappointing and depressing. It was also extremely salty. The flavor was kind of lacking and so were the potatoes for the side.
google avatar

Shelly S.

Yelp
Came back after a few years when I was visiting my parents (I moved away) and this place is still amazing! Was really busy on a Sunday morning but they still did a great job with the service.
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
The food was good. Not great, but solid. The chicken fried steak was a little dry, needed more gravy and maybe a little bit of moisture added to the meat to keep it from being dry. The best thing on the plate were the hash browns! We also got the Chicken Liver Pate and it was amazing! My partner got the shrimp and grits, and it was decent, but the grits could have been cooked just a hair more. Overall, I'd go back to see if something else blows me away! The service was good, everyone was friendly and happy with the food and experience.

Yelp
Good good ! Great Service ! A nice place to have your weekend brunch !!! Shared Chilaquiles and All American breakfast. Very filling - two people could not finish two dishes
google avatar

Julie W.

Yelp
We came for brunch. There's street parking and the restaurant is on the corner. The back lot was full. Go thru the doors to the hostess. We were looking for a new place with a different menu, not just pancakes or food that doesn't fill you. Service was nice. Waiter and server were helpful with suggestions and polite. Great ambiance but sit with the window to your back so you don't get the sun in your eyes. The special birria omelette was good. Birria sauce inside and across the top. It had a good flavor. The avocado toast needed the trout roe for flavor. I normally don't add hot sauce to my eggs but this dish needed a touch more. I ate half of it and brought the other half home to my kid who makes and loves avocado toast, took a bite and passed. It does look awesome. Coffee was good.

Yelp
Always listen to their specials -very good. Dishes: (both w/hash browns) -homemade biscuit & gravy with fried chicken -Crab Benedict Logistics: -accepts cc -plentiful tables (indoor and outdoor)

Yelp
The food was outstanding & the service was great. I have the braise beef dish cooked to perfection. My wife has dietary issues with butter, spices & cream. The restaurant knew just what to do so that her dinning experience would great. It will be hard first meeting to stay away from this restaurant.

Yelp
One of my favorite if not most favorite restaurant in South Bay. - Make a reservation. - park a block or two away on Willow St towards the residential area. Much easier to park than on Lincoln Ave. - Go for dinner when the lighting and ambiance is ideal (except the two large televisions in the bar area). - outdoor seating looks cozy as they have overhead heaters - The drinks are worth trying. - The food is top notch. Went yesterday and since crab is in season I had crap soup and crab cakes. - our server was friendly and she's been our server before.

Yelp
Decided to try out the Table for my best friend's birthday brunch and it did not disappoint! For parking, there's a parking lot by the restaurant on the side with a short walk to the restaurant. We booked a reservation and didn't have to wait to long for our table to be clear and ready. We got the bottom mimosas to celebrate and I was surprised at how cheap it was- only $15 dollars! Other places would have been more expensive so, that's a plus. We ended up ordering the Smoked Salmon Benedict, Duck Liver Mousse, and the Chicken Fried Pork Steak. Smoked Salmon Benedict (4/5)- Tasted rich, savory. The eggs were perfectly poached and the sauce was to die for. I really liked how the hash browns were super crispy. Loved my dish! Chicken Fried Pork Steak (4/5)- Chicken was tender and the gravy complimented the dish so well. Portions were huge and hash browns were crispy too. Duck liver Mousse (4/5)- I wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price. It had tons of flavor and I liked how dried fruits came with it. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at the table. The servers were friendly and attentive especially when we wanted refills on our mimosas. The food was amazing. I can see why the Table is always busy with people dining in for brunch- def would come back!
google avatar

Ratna J.

Yelp
The place is really nice, tons of seating indoors and outdoors. For a party of 2, we were able to get seating right away (mind you it was on a super-bowl Sunday), but you should generally make reservations ahead of time. We ordered there bottomless mimosas which were good. And the waitress constantly checked in on us and topped off our drinks (which we love). I asked for caramelized onions on my hash-browns (it seems like they only put a pinch of caramelized onions, I wish they put more). The chicken fried steak with the gravy is absolutely delicious. Will be coming back for that.

Yelp
Came here for brunch with a friend and we got a table right away at 10 AM on a Saturday! Everything was so delicious, and honestly not crazy priced for the quality. We both agreed that the food quality to price ratio was chefs kiss emoji We got the avocado crab toast and eggs benedict to share, as well as the beignets and I got an ube oat latte. The latte was only $5 and it was delicious!!! Definitely tasted more honey and milk than ube, but that's ok- still yummy. I think the star was really the beignets tho- sooooo fluffy, perfectly sugared, amazing with the lemon curd dip. I'm still thinking about those beignets honestly... The avocado crab toast didn't have a whole ton of crab, but definitely had like a whole avocado in it LOL sliced of course, but so much avocado. The roe on top was also delicious and fresh. Eggs benedict were nice n savory, the green onion bread surprisingly stood out among the egg and sauce and ham, a great touch. Friendly service, the only thing was my ube latte came out pretty late but our waiter apologized for the delay and said they were whipping the cream in the back LOL Parking can be a little tricky, but not impossible! Quite a few smaller parking lots behind the surrounding stores and buildings.

Yelp
My friends and I had dinner here recently and really enjoyed it. We had a high boy table in the bar area. Not my favorite but it was ok. Our waitress was attentive and came by often. It was a bit busy at first so it did take a minute or two for her to take drink orders. I ordered some sort of vodka drink. Can't remember the name but it was tasty. For my entree, I had The Only Burger That Belongs on The Table: cheddar | mayo | onion-tomato jam | lettuce | house pickle. This was a really good burger. Nice flavor. Loved the toppings. Enjoyed the side potato wedges that came with it. For dessert, we shared the Sugar-Dusted Ricotta Beignets. These were more like donuts than beignets but they were tasty. Freshly fried. Overall a nice dinner on a nice evening out with friends.

Yelp
We visit The Table yesterday for lunch. My coworker got "The only burger that belongs on the table" and I got Ceviche. The burger was like a 6 out of 9 in my opinion. It comes with nothing on the side, is just a burger so make sure you ask to add fries or salad. The ceviche is a very super small portion and is fish with like 6 pieces of chips. We ask for some cocktails and I clearly say light on the ice, they got mine in a smaller glass cup which I don't mind but they still add more than enough ice on it and my teeth is very sensitive. I didn't wanted to complain but I just let it be. One more place to experience. I'm sure it won't happen to me next time I visit, I will be more detailed when I ask for my drinks.

Yelp
Wow. Felt very fortunate to be introduced to The Table by friends and locals. Located in the Willow Glen neighborhood. What a great meal - I got the bolognese, which was very hearty. Tasted the squid ink pasta as well, and it tasted wonderful. Tried the Secret Garden cocktail (cucumber flavors) and it was delicious. Attentive service. We walked the neighborhood afterwards - parking in back.

Yelp
This is a go-to brunch spot for me and my friends! The vibe is great! The patio is dog friendly. Most servers are quick and on top of things. They have bottomless mimosas which is always fun. They also have delicious specials. Fun spot for dinner as well! With great cocktails!

Yelp
The Table is a mainstay of Willow Glen with its bougie brunch menu, impeccable vibes, and extensive seating options. I remember this place being all the rage when it first opened (it was truly the first of its kind in this neighborhood), and happy to report that it still is after all these years. My friend and I ordered the crab benedict, sugar-dusted ricotta beignets, and corned beef hash. This place is known for offering "63 degree eggs," in which the egg yolks and whites are both runny. Not for me, but worth trying if you're curious. SMOKED SALMON BENEDICT (4/5): Very rich and savory; a solid eggs benedict SUGAR-DUSTED RICOTTA BEIGNETS (2/5): The lemon curd is delicious, but you're really not missing out on the beignets. These are basically donuts trying to pass off as beignets; do not be fooled lol. CORNED BEEF HASH (4/5): Great for meat lovers; super hearty but wish the potatoes were crispier :( There are 3 separate seating areas -- the main dining room; bar area, and outdoor deck (which comes with heat lamps). Service was a bit slow during my visit, but the servers were quite friendly and personable. I've actually only been here for brunch, but the dinner menu also looks delightful. Definitely recommend for a classy dining experience in Willow Glen!

Yelp
Food was 6.5/10 and service was 7/10! I came here to have a nice little brunch date with my boyfriend, but we were a little disappointed with our experience. We came when it was getting busy so we didn't expect to be seated right away, but surprisingly we did! The place has a lot of tables, but they're a little too close to each other. I feel like I don't really have much privacy when having a conversation. We could hear the guests next to us and their whole conversation! My boyfriend and I got the Ortiz Sardines And Saffron Aioli Tartine, Chicken Fried Steak, and Roasted Mary's Chicken! I've had the chilaquiles here before and I thought it was pretty good so I thought, "Why not try out their other dishes?" I didn't know what a tartine was but it's basically an open toast. It was quite delicious! I thought the sardine was gonna be really salty, but it wasn't and everything is well incorporated! I liked that they sliced the toast because it's easier to share and consume. I thought the vegetables were pickled, but it seems like it wasn't so that's good because I felt like it would've overpowered the dish. I tried a little bit of the chicken fried steak. The chicken and gravy were pretty good, but nothing much stands out. The roasted chicken was very underwhelming. The chicken and gnocchi were really dry even though it was covered in sauce. The only thing that I felt like it had flavor was the artichoke heart, and I think it's either collard greens or kale. The service was great except for the host. The host that sat us down didn't seem friendly at all. We didn't really feel welcomed and she left right as we sat. I didn't want to think too much about it because I wanted to think she had other things to do, but then our server came and that changed my mind. Our server greeted us and was really nice. They had a welcoming presence and were attentive to our table! Overall, it's a nice place to come to but it's hard to find parking on a busy day!

Yelp
I cannot rave enough about this salmon dish. I still think about it sometimes and crave it every once in a while. It tasted absolutely amazing and the beef tartare was perfectly seasoned! Service was very fast and the staff were very kind. I love the relaxing casual environment. It's perfect for a brunch date.

Yelp
We came on a rainy Saturday around 11:30AM and got seated by 12PM. The service was not really quick as this restaurant gets packed but overall my group had a great time eating here. It is a great spot for group gatherings, family outings or dates. The food we got was pretty good! I got the Chilaquiles Rojos with braised pork and I had to agree with another comment that the chips get hearty. This dish will fill you up quick and could be a good option if you want a heavy breakfast. I did find it a little too heavy for me as I could only eat half. Even though I added braised pork, I don't think there were that many pork.

Yelp
Traci and I just said goodbye to our closet friend earlier in the day. I know this is a sad way to start this review, but we wanted to go out to eat, and she suggested The Table. I remembered meeting up with Drea my first time here, so it did seem fitting that we came here to eat and honor our friendship with her. I wanted to celebrate her life, so I ordered a bottle of the Louis Roederer champagne. A great way to start the evening. We then shared the burrata, and this was soooooo good! and paired nicely with the champagne. For dinner, we decided to share either the pot roast or the seafood tagliatini. We left the decision up to our server, and he picked the seafood because it would probably go better with our champagne, and it did. I loved how they split everything for us! The fresh baked bread was delicious too! For dessert, we ordered the special, grilled pound cake with raspberry coulis and chocolate sauce, and the triple layer chocolate cake. Both so good and paired nicely with the rest of the champagne. It was a very enjoyable meal, even though at one point we were crying over memories. Our server was kind, friendly, and funny! We didn't hear his name, and I'm not sure if Lindsey was his name, which was on the receipt. We sat out on the patio, and it was the perfect temp with the heat lamps. We had a wonderful and comforting evening and we knew Drea was there with us.

Yelp
The cocktails are pretty darn good, & the customer service is really good. Shout out to Erika, our wonderful waitress! I wish they had more options before 5pm but I'll say they do have a pretty impressive happy hour menu. I recommend the Last Monk or the White Lotus, thanks again to Erika's recommendations!

Yelp
Good quality restaurant! It's always busy here I finally got to try them. Had the cheese board appetizer and the chicken schnitzel. It came with sliced green apples and was a variation on the schnitzel. Also tried the scallops with ravioli a lot of flavor. Very nice service and plenty of seating inside and outside. Great place to hang out for a meal or a drink. My only criticism is that the portions are small so plan on getting some appetizer or side dishes.

Yelp
I went here to have some brunch with my family and it was great. I ordered Avocado Crab Toast and service was good and the person taking my order was very kind and understanding that im not from USA and im still getting used to the quisine here, but nonetheless I really enjoyed my time here, the inside was very clean and pleasing. No issues with this place

Yelp
I liked this place . So here we go. You can sit inside or outside. It was cute. Nicely decorated and comfortable outside . I went today and there was a car show. Let's just say no to the car show. They made the experience unpleasant outside with their loud mufflers so be aware of the surroundings. That not the Tables fault. They were great. Just. Be aware . I got the corned beef hash which I really liked. I try to get this dish all over the bay and theirs was pretty good . Mmm. Hot tea was superb with a refill. Happy about getting the pot on the table. Our server was good and she was fast and very pleasant. She mentioned all the specials and made good suggestions. I will be back . I'll check the surrounding area. Parking is small on the back of the building but there is parking available on the street and it's a few minute walk down. Not a problem. Come by. You will be happy you did. Explore the menu. It was impressive.

Yelp
Meh... it was so-so. The cocktails were good. The food left much to be desired. The wedge is pretty good. The Shishito peppers are okay, but be warned that they are served with bonito flakes that move creepily because of the heat the entire time they're with you. Service was good. Cocktails are excellent.

Yelp
This was a great place to meet up with old friends and shoot the breeze. Nice atmosphere, friend staff and good food. Sad to say that it's uncommon to see real hollandaise sauce but it was good, but overpowered by the rest of the dish. Good crispy hash browns and slightly spicy Bloody Mary. Everything made for a nice light lunch and terrific time all around.

Yelp
Lovely brunch spot! Food was amazing, ambience and service were top tier I particularly liked the sardine tartine! The ceviche was great as well but a little more "fishy" than the ones I've had before The yogurt parfait was top quality! Everything's homemade and the yogurt has a slightly sour note with I loved

Yelp
I used the love the Landry service that was here before. The manager now. Not great. And the people who I believe own this need to actually show up because I was not happy with octopus at all nor the burger. Someone said the manager was the owners wife so I get why she gets away with this. Service was great so I don't blame them for the food. But for what I have to pay for I'd like a fully cooked meal. I blame the higher ups, since they should dictate everything.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday brunch, and we had an amazing time. Great atmosphere with friendly service as they kept our mimosas flowing. Food was delicious from appetizers to the entrees. Beignets were tasty with the right amount of sugar. Everything was cooked really well overall, and my favorite was the Chicken Fried Pork Steak. Chicken was tender and went perfectly well with the gravy.
