The Taco Stand - Review - South Beach - Miami - The Infatuation

"The Taco Stand on Lincoln Road marks the restaurant’s third location in Miami. The other two are in Wynwood and Calle Ocho. And if they're anything like the Wynwood location, you can expect solid carne asada tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Mariana Trabanino

This is definitely my favorite place to eat in Miami. Loaded fries had a lot of meat and cheese was also tasty and didn’t taste cheap. I also had pork and fish tacos that were juicy and flavorful. This place is not expensive compare to other restaurants in Wynwood. Must try.

I absolutely love the food here, I could honestly eat it every day! I’ve tried both the tacos and burritos, and while both were great, I personally prefer the burritos. What I really appreciate is that they don’t just fill them with rice and beans they use a great variety of fresh ingredients, plus there’s a salsa bar, which is a huge bonus. The place is often crowded, and once you try the food, you’ll understand why. It’s not a fancy spot, more of a casual bistro with really good food. I can’t wait to come back!

This spot is better suited for takeout or a quick bite since the interior isn’t very welcoming, with only a handful of tables and plenty of foot traffic. That said, the food stands out—it’s closer to authentic Mexican tacos, making it a great addition to South Beach at fair prices. Expect to pay around $10 for a burrito and $3–$4 for tacos. With prices this reasonable, places like Bodega may start losing customers unless they rethink their high pricing strategy

They get really busy but its worth the wait. Not stingy on the tacos, flavorful, juicy with lots of condiment bar selections. Hope they add a chicken tortilla soup for fall

Highly recommend this place. These tacos are delicious! They do not skimp on the amount served in each taco. Their salsa bar is amazing. They offer bottled and fountain drinks. Service was fast.

The Taco Stand – Lincoln Road, South Beach ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m always satisfied every time I come to The Taco Stand. It’s one of my favorite spots in South Beach, right on Lincoln Road. I don’t even need to look at the menu anymore—the California Burrito is my go-to, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and affordable, which is rare in this area. I usually come at night, and that’s honestly when I enjoy it the most. The vibe is great, and the team working during the evening is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. You can tell they really care about taking care of their customers. Huge thanks to the nighttime crew—you all deserve five stars. Keep up the amazing work!

Google
The Taco Stamp in South Beach is easily one of my favorite spots in Miami. If you’re looking for real Mexican food in Miami Beach, this place delivers 100%. The tortillas are authentic and made from corn, and the flavor is just unbeatable. I especially recommend the carne asada burrito, the carne asada tacos, and the birria tacos — they’re all incredible. The street corn (elotes) is also a must-try; it comes with cheese, mayo, tajín, mustard, and other toppings, and it’s honestly excellent. I’ve been here more than 10 or even 20 times, so I can say it’s a place I truly frequent and recommend. The only item I wouldn’t really suggest is the fish taco — not my favorite compared to everything else on the menu. Another detail I love is that they have Mexican salsas available, and you can grab as much as you like to suit your taste. As for atmosphere, I’d rate it around 80/100. It’s not a calm or quiet place since it’s always busy, but it has a warm and lively vibe that makes it fun. Service is also around 80/100 — the staff is good, but since it’s always crowded, sometimes orders can get mixed up, so I’d recommend repeating your order clearly at the counter just to be sure. The outdoor seating facing the street isn’t the most beautiful compared to other spots, but the food absolutely makes up for it. Overall, The Taco Stamp is a true gem in South Beach, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for authentic Mexican flavors.

Google
Went in late night to try it out and it was worth it! I got the california burrito which has melted cheese, angus steak, fries, lettuce, guac, and sour cream and let me tell you best burrito on sobe hands down 🤤🤤 its big portion filled with flavor! honestly delicious. Angela at the front counter is super nice and welcoming! She even gave me extra fries that didn’t fit in the burrito! 10/10

Yelp
Super yummy & fresh taco/burrito joint! Coming from California we were happy to find good casual Mexican :)

Yelp
I am a fan of Taco Stand in Wynwood but today we tried the Miami Beach location. It was disappointing. Michelada was served in small plastic cup (impossible to mix properly with tamarind stick and ice). Beers were not ice cold and only 1 Pacifico beer was available during lunch time. The mar Y Terra with fries had under cooked fries and the shrimp were tasteless. The taco pescado had also no flavors and missing spices and salt. Very unlike what I'm used to from Wynwood location. I will stick with Wynwood and avoid Miami Beach. But hope Taco Stand can match the quality in this MB location in future.

Yelp
The downfall that The Taco Stand opening on my street will be to my wallet and diet is concerning. It is so good, well-priced and worth waiting in the line that there almost always is! Truly, no matter what time of day, there is a crowd which is a good sign. They have limited seating both indoor and outdoor, so often times I just take it to go and eat at home or at the end of Lincoln a few blocks away where there are some benches on the Bay (also half a block in the other direction there is public seating on the pedestrian area of Lincoln road along the fountains!). So far, the secret menu tostones proved to be a little too messy to eat, but everything else has been so good. I am NOT a burrito person (I feel like you get mostly rice and beans), but not here! No rice and beans to be seen, so you're truly getting all burrito. The California is my favorite (don't be deterred by the fries...they had a nice crispy crunch on the inside) and I'm a big fan of acting like I've never tried any of the sauces they have available every time I go. They don't yet have their liquor license (as of April 5), but I heard a rumor they're working on it and will eventually sell margaritas. As of right now they sell beer and sodas. They have bottled sodas and fountain drinks. My one main complaint is the flow of the spot. They need to invest in some double doors lol because right now it's people shuffling past each other to wait in line or get in or out and it definitely can create some chaos. Otherwise this spot is definitely worth stopping by!

Yelp
The Taco Stand has very quickly become one of my favorite spots! I've been to the Wynwood location but it's been a great addition to have them in Miami Beach now. The staff is friendly, the prices are great, the food is fresh and the sauces are on point. It can get quite busy so it can sometimes take a while to get the food and the freshness/quality does vary at times but still a great taco spot! My favorite is the pescado taco - which is a grilled Mahi Mahi taco. Comes with avocado, cabbage, onions and chipotle sauce. I recently tried their bean burrito and wow. That was generous portion and very tasty. The vibe inside is fun and so is the decor. Definitely a great spot in South Beach!

Yelp
A perfect spot for tacos and burritos! Everything is so freaking good, and the burritos are massive. The staff is great too and from what I hear, they're open late for any after hours cravings. There are lots of sauces to choose from. Just a truly fun spot. I would definitely go back!

Yelp
If you're in Miami and craving authentic, flavorful Mexican food without breaking the bank, The Taco Stand is a must-visit. It's a small space, but it offers handmade corn tortillas, fresh and perfectly seasoned grilled meats, and a variety of delicious salsas. The Al Pastor, chicken and the grilled shrimp tacos were the best, and the elote on a stick was some of the best corn I've tasted. You may have to wait a bit during peak hours, but it's worth the wait!

Yelp
Best in SouthBeach. Delicious and authentic. Bodega used to rule the area but has fallen off a bit and are higher priced but shows no changes that would put it above this place. Great for a quick lunch and I'd even say a romantic walk at night to grab a taco. The area has great vibes, she or he will have a good and lasting memory.

Yelp
The newly opened branch of The Taco Stand in Miami Beach is located in Lincoln Road. This Taqueria offers authentic taco experience with handmade corn tortillas for their varieties of mexican tacos. They serve tacos, burritos, churros, and also popsicles. I had the Carne Asada Taco which have grilled angus beef, guacamole, onions and salsa. Its was good! I have to try the other tacos in my next visit. Good service and a fast casual ambiance. Check it out!

Yelp
The best tacos I have ever eaten . The meat and the shell were very fresh , the chips and guaque were also amazing .

Yelp
Just came here and got the carne asada taco and the shrimp taco. Both were great but the shrimp was soooo good. I would have never ordered it but I asked the guy who rang me up what was good and he said, shrimp taco was his favorite. Next time I think I'll just do shrimp it was that good. Yes, they are pricy tacos but they are pretty filling and definitely loaded compared to a regular street taco

Yelp
been here countless times and for good reason. the Mexican food is authentically delicious for a great value! the staff are extremely friendly and approachable. Tony's customer service was exceptional! typically come here 2-3 a week. they open late which is convenient for the area.

Yelp
During vacation I had better Mexican food. It may have just been what I ordered but I was just disappointed. I did pick up the food to go and the salsa was like a little ounce cup. I ordered and payed for chips and salsa. I originally thought it was to go to the slightly dry burrito. Crazy enough but my husband and I were sharing and we didn't finish our food which we is shocking for us. The corn on the cob was good but the rest of it was blah.

Yelp
Was looking for good food but casual and saw this across the street from my hotel. Reminded me of Tacos No 1 in NYC which I love and this did not disappoint. Had the Pollo, Al Pastor and Pescado. All delicious and a good size. Favorite was the Pollo surprisingly - thought it would be most basic but large pieces of grilled chicken slightly charred, chimichurri or something in there as well. Great quick meal
