"After getting delayed a couple years, the floating restaurant first announced in March 2019 finally opens today, June 30, on the East Boston waterfront (not in Charlestown as originally planned). It comes courtesy of the Navy Yard Hospitality Group, which is also behind waterfront spots Pier 6, Reelhouse, and more. The new restaurant, which is on a tall ship, is called the Tall Ship. The restaurant group describes it as a floating oyster bar, and it’ll play host to live music and other events. Along the pier, refurbished shipping containers will be home to various vendors, and food trucks will be able to park onsite as well." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

A very clean, organized, beautiful space. The view absolutely gorgeous! I had oysters on the tall ship. They were quite good and the staff is amazingly pleasant. Almost all young adults. I'm sure this place is packed in the summer. I didn't have any but the pizza looked fantastic.

I’ve had many people tell me to check this place out so I took my friend here when he visited me this summer. It’s definitely a cool venue and being able to go on the tall ship was worth it alone. The views of Boston are great since you’re in Eastie. There are multiple food truck options, all of which are decent to good. We came right around the 4th of July so it was pretty dead, I think it would be much more fun if there were more people or with a large group. We still enjoyed it though and it’s a great spot to bring people from out of town.

Food: It’s pretty expensive as the tacos is $19 for 2 small ones, and they taste decent but I rather get food elsewhere. The pizza is a little better for a decent at $25 for a pie size. The chicken sandwich was okay rather dry and the fries are really skinny/dry. It’s all food truck style which is alright overall but it’s better than nothing if you’re there drinking all day. Service: Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we need like drinks, water and table space even after we all had to go inside the tent from the rain. Ambiance: We got a lounge for our party which was nice to sit and chill. The view is a huge wide space of the pier and there's boats going along the water. You can go on the boat next to it and grab drinks and hang as well. It's rather family friendly but it can be an all adults thing too. Unfortunately we didn't get to stay at the lounge for too long as it started to rain and we stayed under the tent which can be crowded. I'm not sure what's the policy is on lounge usage because you do have to pay $50-100 deposit (does not go towards your bill) for a reservation lounge. We got to use it for less than an hr so I wish that would've been compt considering we also had to spend a minimum of $250 for the lounge reservation. It’s great for large gatherings to hang out and enjoy the environment. Music could be have better choices but there’s a large projector showing the games plus TVs Location accommodation: The parking is valet for $25-50 depending on the day you go, we went on Sunday afternoon and it was $25 or you can also try find side street parking.

An absolute gem hidden across the harbour. The views are stunning especially at sunset. I went there my last night before I went home and boy was I treated to spectacular views of the sun going down over Boston’s skyline!

Ben Park

Google
The view here is indisputably some of the best you can experience in Boston. The night view of the skyline is especially spectacular. There are plenty of seats and different activities you can do so it’s a location where you can easily spend a few hours relaxing. There are also quite a few vendors for food options and you are not allowed to bring outside food. Note that the prices are obviously overpriced and quality may vary. The alcohol options are also pricey but the drinks can be potent. For example, the gin and tonic we got was half gin and half tonic. I think they know exactly what their customers want. Definitely recommend.

Google
I actually came to This Place early in the morning while on a walk, curious as to what it was. I’m a photographer who lives in Utah and had never been here before. I thought the views were spectacular, and decided to bring my son here later the same day. We came at 1 o’clock, and there were just a few people there, all of whom were Adults, and most of whom were drinking alcohol. Essentially this is a phenomenal place to drink alcohol with the spectacular view. It is not a family place.

Google
It is absolutely gorgeous at the Tall Ship! Such a fun place to hangout with friends and enjoy the sun in Boston. That being said… drink prices were a bit out of hand but what isn’t these days. We had really great onion rings and chicken tenders at one of the many stalls. It is a really unique atmosphere and definitely worth checking out.

Gwen X.

Google
The view was so so pretty! Street parking was relatively early- we got there around 7 on a Friday, which I guess was pre bar crowd. The food was mediocre at best, pricy nonetheless. I got a crispy chicken and rice. The chicken tastes like frozen ones.

Yelp
so we were in Boston for a couple days and a friend of the cutest of chicks said we needed to be here so here we were... and I've been pondering this for a couple months and unless I'm missing something I really don't understand what we'd been missing; someone made a bar out of a fairly large vaguely historical three-masted ship and anchored it on the other side of the harbor... on the plus side it isn't sailing away anytime soon and there's no cover charge to drink on the boat. the pier is a whole different sort of let down entirely: stand around for a while and watch people stand in line at the food trucks and play corn hole or maybe corn hole or a different other cornhole or watch some big TVs out of doors on uncomfortable seating. heard some talk that them was supposed to maybe put in a skating rink for the winter but I'm not sure what the draw would be. getting frost bite AND a radial fracture? best part of this whole adventure was the boat ride across the harbor. hanging out in the breeze looking out across the water was totally worth the fares both forth and back.

Yelp
One of my absolute favorite places to be in the summer time. Whether daytime or at night, Tall Ship is always a good time. Stay on the outdoor grounds, or climb onboard the 245' vessel floating on the pier for some drink La and oysters. With gorgeous views, a wide selection of foods & delicious drinks, Tall Ship is a great outdoor lounge to visit for a lovey waterfront experience featuring live entertainment, food vendors, food trucks, the occasional pop ups & more.

Jennie S.

Yelp
This place was so cute and relaxed for an outdoor drink and some food. They have cornhole they have other outdoor games that you can play. They have tons of outdoor seating and outlooks the harbor in Boston and it's gorgeous. We got there a little bit earlier today during a little bit and there was no line. It was easy to come into a lot of seats get taken up a lot of the board games get taken up because it is a popular busy place. But wait for the drinks and the food was very minimal so that was good. When we left, which was around 4 PM, there was a very long line to get in so I would definitely recommend trying to get there a little bit earlier to avoid waiting in the line. I would totally come back here just because the ambience was so nice nautical and coastal. It's like no other. It was beautiful.

Yelp
What a nice incredible view of Boston from the tall ship! I found that this floating bar is very creative my exceptional ! Very fortunate to come on Monday night, where no one was there so it was a perfect night not too windy clear temperature just perfect and the skyline view was incredible! Nice to have drinks. this is perfect for a party or on a nice quiet evening a date! There's an oyster bar on board too.

Allie G.

Yelp
I'd been wanting to check out The Tall Ship since it opened and finally got to go! We were worried there would be a wait, but we walked right in on a Friday around 4:30. The bar was pretty well stocked and I got an Aperol Spritz while my friend chose a Truly. Service was quick, but the drinks were on the pricy side. The novelty of being on a floating vessel really made the experience worthwhile. We walked around the Navy Yard (right next to the ship), which had food vendors and lawn games. We ended up getting a half dozen oysters from the raw bar on the ship, which were fresh and delicious (although again, pricy). Overall, we had a fun time and enjoyed the good vibes and beautiful views. Would love to return for a sunset!

Melanie H.

Yelp
This is one of the first bars I went to in Boston and it truly encompasses living in the city. It's a place I love to take friends that visit because it's such a fun and unique concept of a bar on a docked ship with a little grass area next to it where people can mingle, see views of the city, and play cornhole! My biggest advice: don't get drinks on the ship because it takes longer. Instead, go towards the left back where they have frozen drinks that are so much more fun than the regular. I love a good pina colada and was sad when I got one of the drinks at the front and realized that they had it here all along and in a less than nothing line! Enjoy and own that ship!

Maeve M.

Yelp
Such a fun find! We had other plans that totally failed and fell through and this place totally made up for it. No cover, music, drinks, cornhole and other games, food, and stunning views are all part of the amazing vibes this place has. The drinks were STRONG and delicious. Good variety of food options too! I would definitely come back!

Yelp
Came here for a corporate team outing and we had a really nice time! We had two side-by-side seating areas next to each other to ourselves and although we came on quite a hot, sunny day, by the time the sun had set it was such wonderful, perfect weather. This spot has a ton of seating and food for the masses as well as really nice bathroom, surprisingly. They have activities such as corn hole and large jenga which was pretty fun as well. Service was decent and our dedicated server never left us alone for too long which was nice. The food options they had were really expensive, but quality wasn't too bad. The seafood shack we chose forgot my entree, but they hand delivered it to me when it was done and it was super filling as well as just overall very solid so I'm glad I chose it. The ice cream sandwich they offer as well at one of the other shops was great - free toppings as well so I couldn't miss out on the m&ms. Overall, great spot to hang out with friends by the water. The views are stunning, the food and drinks are decent, and I would gladly come back. Thanks, Tall Ship!

Yelp
In my opinion, Tall Ship lives up to the hype. I hardly ever go to East Boston, but apparently that's the place to be. The views from Tall Ship are simply unmatched. Even though there was a line, there wasn't any cover, and it was worthwhile for the fun vibes. There were more vendors than I expected. You can find all the drinks you'd expect, as well as lots of food stalls. Most of the stuff is overpriced, but that's what I imagined. If you're heading back to Boston, take the ferry back for some more views!

Carson E.

Yelp
I don't know what to say - This place has SERIOUSLY ruined my family's third annual Boston family trip. My son (13 years old, illiterate) accidentally entered the lower section of the ship in search of a place to urinate. In response, the manager told us to kick rocks! Completely outrageous behavior! I will never be purchasing another non-alcoholic beer at this establishment again.

Katie E.

Yelp
Great place to spend a summer afternoon, and the perfect spot to show off Boston to out of town visitors! I don't make it over to Eastie often, but if I do, this is almost always the reason. Before we get any further here, I want to mention that my 5 star rating is in regards to the overall experience. You can definitely get better food, cocktails, and prices at plenty of other places, but Tall Ship is one of a kind thanks to the atmosphere and the venue itself. The star of this place (other than the stunning water and city skyline views) is the ship itself, it's a massive sail boat with a couple of bars and a raw bar on it, plus lots of standing room to enjoy the view or catch a game on one of the TVs hanging above. The pier next to it features tons of seating, lawn games, a huge projector screen for games, and lots of food and drink stalls to choose from. This visit, I sampled oysters, fried clams, and fried calamari from a few different vendors. Again, you can find better food all around Boston, but it was all tasty and there's something about eating seafood on the water with a tropical cocktail in hand that just hits different. This place is only open seasonally, and it's really popular (especially with the younger crows), so it can get pretty packed. You can reserve private roped off lounge areas, but it's a bit pricey, so I'd just keep the line in mind when you're choosing when to visit. Overall - a great way to spend a day in East Boston. I'll see you next Summer for sure, Tall Ship :)

Yelp
Interesting concept and a great beer garden energy. The view of the city is awesome. It's spacious, lots of seating, there are plenty of cornhole and jenga games, but some of our cornhole bean bags were missing? Also feels a bit weirdly removed and in a quiet area if you walk there from the T stop. The drinks are pricey (~$20, with tax and tip). I indulged in the spiked slushies, which are definitely worth it. The mudslide is SO good, it's basically kahlua in slushy form. The banana flavor is surprisingly yummy too, especially when mixed with the mudslide. They offer samples of the slushies as well! I'd suggest to go here with a group and during the day! Also seems more of a summer spot, it gets very chilly with the wind!

Daniel C.

Yelp
Spectacular and immense space for lounging, vibing and catching what is probably the best view of Boston imaginable. Some poorer reviews quibble with the quality/price of drinks but you can order great IPAs (eg., true north, castle Island) for $10, as well as all the High Noons you can desire--and the rest is a paradise of free games, big outdoor screens, uncrowded seating, live music, and views, views, views.

Barbara K.

Yelp
This place is definitely a fun place with good vibe and music. A great place to watch sunsets and sports game on their massive T.V. I didn't like my mix drinks but definitely come back to hangout and order wine instead next time. The view is great on a good night. I would love for it to have more food trucks and better drinks .

Kiran V.

Yelp
Great place to go with a group of friends for a casual night out. The yard games were fun but there was a wait for them/people would be waiting for you to finish. We went during the Copa America games so they were playing those on the projectors around the place. There is an oyster bar attached but we stayed in the grassy area. View of the city is great but it's out of the way and drinks are on the pricier side.

Jackie S.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere and great place to take kids that are under 21 but still want to go out. There might be street parking but there is also valet for maybe $25. Which is significantly easier. Food and drink trucks are there. Some are better than other. All are expensive, and I feel as though you're paying a premium for the locations. There are Porta potties for the bathrooms and also the nicer version, too. Recently found put that if your on the ship section and leave to go to the bathroom you don't have to wait in line. Just make sure to ask for a ticket for something. The place has really great views of the city. However, the staff is very hit or miss. I've had some rude staff members there and I've been multiple times

Chad H.

Yelp
The 'crispy' chicken sandwich was cold and soggy. They served it to me within 10 seconds of ordering it. So, clearly it was just sitting in a container waiting to be given out. Space is nice, so I'll give a star for that

Colleen E.

Yelp
Visited for the first time last night with a small group. The views of the city are amazing and there is plenty of space for everyone. I think it's cool one of the bars is on the actual ship. They had 2 large screens set up showing sports. They also had several lawn games including cornhole. Would stay away from cocktails as the Aperol Spritz I got was very watered down even though it cost $18. Better to eat beforehand too as the food options are mediocre and overpriced. Seems to be kid friendly as well as we saw many there with their families.

Emily B.

Yelp
Tall Ship is great for large groups, offering stunning water and city skyline views along with numerous food options and group activities. My sister and I stopped by on a random Wednesday. We initially came here craving something sweet, but were disappointed to find the dessert cart closed. So, we opted for a pizza instead, and it turned out to be delicious! Tall Ship is the ideal Boston summer hangout destination, and I'm looking forward to coming back when the weather gets warmer.

Theresa M.

Yelp
This location is gorgeous, and it's a great spot to catch up with friends, see a beautiful sunset over the harbor, or even catch a workout class surprisingly. However food options are limited, and drinks are both expensive and not great quality. I still love the concept, but come with the low expectations on the beverages!

Anisha A.

Yelp
Tall ship is so fun. Drinks are super overpriced so giving it a 4 for that reason. Food is also overpriced and not super good so wouldn't recommend eating here. Just go for the drinks and atmosphere because it's beautiful and always a lot of fun. Both times I have been have been on a weekend evening so it's been crowded. Highly recommend , just a little out of the way in east Boston so if you're in downtown Boston and trying to decide between Ciscos and tall ship- I'd say Ciscos.

Alyana S.

Yelp
I was hesitant coming here after reading the reviews and I'm glad I came! I had a wonderful time! There wasn't a cover charge when we visited on a Friday night. Recommend taking an Uber/lyft since they only have street parking in this busy area otherwise you'll have to pay for valet parking. When you first enter there are 2-3 food trucks. I wish there were more options! My fiancé and friend got food from the chicken and rice food truck and they said it was filling! I got food from the taco/burrito side and it was delicious! I got the chicken tinga burrito bowl! It was warm and fresh! A little pricey but it was the best bang for my buck considering this was the price for everything else. My other friends got food from the deli side such as a chicken Caesar wrap and she was disappointed as it was cold and pretty much premade. As for drinks they're ranging around $15 for the mixed drinks. I recommend getting the slushie mixed drinks and it's $17 and an extra shot is an extra $3 so it's $20.33 after tax. I recommend getting an extra shot since it'll make it into two drinks pretty much! They are strong and so delicious! Robin was an amazing bartender and let us taste test since there's so many flavors! Recommend visiting Tall Ship when you're in Boston!

Lori W.

Yelp
Great venue with amazing views of Boston! The drinks, bartenders & food were all top notch.

Brandi K.

Yelp
Stopped here based on a recommendation and oh my goodness what a cool summer spot! We walked up, got our wristbands, then headed to the ship for a cocktail and the views. Then we had to grab an ice cream waffle before, of course. There are lots of places to sit, and if you have a large group, you can secure a table for a small fee. There is shade, lots of food options, cocktail trucks all over, and merch for purchase. Lovely views, great music and good vibes

Marilyn B.

Yelp
Such a beautiful view, enjoyed my visit but please improve the food It was beautiful watching the sailboats and the city skyline

Gail L.

Yelp
The trip down the Potomic was marred by the airplanes contatnly taking off. If you are looking for a peaceful cruise, you might consider something else. Not a lot of seating on the trip we did. Four of us shared two seats.

Marni M.

Yelp
My friends and I had a pleasant experience coming for a drink on a Friday night. A lock of cover fee was greatly appreciated as we had taken an Uber to get here knowing that parking was going to be tough. Plenty of seats available with lots of space to spread out. There are a few games like corn hole, a mini trampoline, and other minute options that can occupy your time while you're enjoying the scenic view. A couple of bars are located around the tables and on the boat with cocktails, beers, and hard seltzer's. Unfortunately for us we only were able to enjoy it for a couple of hours as they closed at 11 pm. Would recommend others to check them out!

Reyna R.

Yelp
Here from out of town. On their Instagram they posted they'd be closed until 8pm for a private event but come after. Came at 10pm. Website says close at 11pm, walked up and they said they were closed for a private event. We mentioned that the Instagram said after 8pm was open and he said sorry no. Upsetting because this was our last night and celebrating a birthday.

Brooke C.

Yelp
I loved it here. The ambience is incredible. I just got canned beverages to drink but I also ordered pizza and was pleasantly surprised by the value and taste of it. I think it's worth waiting in the line for - I would go back

Meg C.

Yelp
Huge multi-use bar space with tons of options for drinks, food, games and seating. Very pricey and wouldn't recommend the food. Liked the novelty of the bar on the ship and the views alone are amazing. Came on a Wed eve around 7:30 and was lucky to find a parking spot a few blocks away and had no problem getting in. Ordered some freshly shucked oysters that were nice and briny at $4/each. My friend was bummed about the sushi they got, as it's grocery store quality and it was $16 for a roll. They were still hungry afterward and paid another $20 for 2 street tacos that were okay, so they basically paid $36 for a subpar dinner. Beer is $10, cocktails $18-22. The prices overall are steep, you're paying for the experience. Would recommend eating elsewhere first, pregame and then come here for drinks, games and views.

RA J.

Yelp
Great drinks and plenty of socializing with games like corn hole. I like that it's outdoors and they have a ship right next to the activity area that also has a bar with less foot traffic. Also they have wonderful views of Boston during happy hour or after the sun has set.

Jenna W.

Yelp
A really cool place to grab drinks with friends! While the line to get in on the weekends is long, taking 25mins, once you get in it's worth it. Not only do they have the large ship that had multiple bars, playing music all night, and a beautiful view of the city; but there's also a huge open area with tables and lawn games. There's plenty of food trucks too if you're hungry. Be ready to pay more for drinks and food, you're definitely paying extra for the atmosphere. Highly recommend taking the subway instead if driving because parking is packed and you'll end up paying for valet. Go check it out and have a fun experience and energetic atmosphere!

Connie K.

Yelp
We came on here on July 2 for drinks, snacks and fireworks. We had a great time. We did have pizza and it was a little greasy, but we expected that. Drinks were good. Great atmosphere.

Wendy B.

Yelp
If you don't go for anything else one has to check out the views! Outstanding and by the water! What else can one ask for? Plenty of vendors, from savory to sweets and ton of drink options. Seating and game options are endless. I'm sure this place is packed on summer days. Parking can be tricky. My sister and I decided to drop by on a random Wednesday night, for a reggae event we had seen publicize online. When we got there not much going on, but we decided to stay grab some pizza and vibe out.

Beau V.

Yelp
Awfully run. Bouncers don't know what they're doing. Sat in line for two hours no reason

Kathy N.

Yelp
Went here yesterday on a Saturday evening, arriving around 7:30pm. All of the parking around the residential highrisers were occupied which forces you into their "valet" parking lot. Conceptually, I understand that you can greatly upcharge when there's no where else to park nearby but it's literally a scam to pay $25 for valet when it was basically a self-park empty parking lot. The guy who I guess worked valet didn't park my car or take my keys or give me a ticket or receipt for parking. He came by to take my money and just told me I was all set. After heading into the area, I was surprised at just how empty it was. It was a pretty chilly night as fall temps in Boston quickly drop, especially by the waterfront where winds can get you pretty easily, however I kind of expected a bit more traffic for a Saturday night. The space is just wayyy to large that it just felt dead even with some other people there. Got a cocktail drink on the ship which was overpriced for the fact that it was so small and tasted purely like juice with some lime. Didn't go back for another because it was not worth it. This venue is just confusing for an evening out. I could see it being better in the summer or if they hosted concerts but for a random evening in the fall, I would definitely not recommend.

Carlotta C.

Yelp
A very fun place to spend a couple of hours on the weekend. The views of boston are beautiful, and there is music, you can play cornhole, and you have a variety of options for drinks and food. 4 stars because the food is definitely overpriced, but would still recommend checking this place out before it closes for the season!

Carlton V.

Yelp
I had a very unfortunate experience at Tall Ship. I don't know how to vent my frustrations so I figured I'd journal it here. On 8/20/22 around 6pm, I was at Tall Ship in East Boston celebrating a friends birthday. I was having a great time until one of my buddies notified me that one of the Staff members took my vape. I went to ask the man, why he had taken my vape. He said there was weed in it. I corrected the guy and told him it was nicotine vape. I apologized and let him know I didn't realize it wasn't allowed in his establishment (the entire place is outdoors). The guy gave me three options. 1) He takes the vape and I go on with my day. 2) I get my vape back but I have to leave 3) I get my vape back and I get to stay IF I GIVE HIM $20! I chose option 2 and made a snarky remark about his extortion method. I think I said you "you are grown man stealing vapes for $20, grow up". That when the staff member put me in a chokehold and escorted me out. While I was being violently choked and dragged out of Tall Ship the guy kept smacking my arm to get my wrist band off. I asked him to please stop and I just want to leave, he was screaming that I tried to swing at him. The man was twice the size of me and at no point did I try to conduct any form of violence. I'm not going to lie it was pretty embarrassing being escorted out in a chokehold in front of a ton of people and being accused of a violent act. Especially over $20. Be careful at this place and don't get separated from your friends if one of the corrupt staff members tries bully you into handing him $20. Anyhow, 1 star because I did get my vape back.

Jack F.

Yelp
So i read all the negative reviews and turns out i had the opposite experience as all of them did. First off i had an awesome time. It was perfect great views great drinks. The food did suck but everything else was fun. They had the baseball game on the big screen the lights were awesome. Paul the GM was such a friendky guy great person talked with us for awhile. He took the time to help us out. Paul is outstanding. Anyone in the boston area go check this out.

Yelp
Was a little hesitant to come to Tall Ship just because it looked a little basic/gimmicky/very millennial and loud. But honestly glad that I gave it a try! It is all of those things, but I had a great time (maybe says more about me than the place lol). Came on a Thursday at 8PM and there was no line, a good amount of people but not overtly crowded. Drinks were of course overpriced ($17 for a slushy cocktail that I did enjoy), but this was to be expected. Loved that they had different games that you can play. It gives me millennial Seaport vibes but I don't hate it! I can definitely see this place being super crowded on a weekend. Would recommend coming on a weekday!

Yelp
I think it's pretty telling that opening day went off without a hitch despite the crazy thunderstorms and heat. Approach the scene and you are greeted by staff checking your ID and handing you a wristband so that you have access to food, the bar, and games - not to mention a tall beautiful ship and sweeping views of the city. On the ship you can find a huge bar with beer, wine, and cocktails. Music was playing and live music was coming later. Off the ship is a patio with two full bars, a wine bar, a frozen rum drink stand, and delicious food. The day I went featured Bon Me and The Sausage Guy, but opening soon are booths from Mija and Pier 6. There were plenty of tables and lawn games to play. The staff was incredibly nice, from the security team to the servers.

Yelp
Highly recommend checking out this new spot in East Boston! Food trucks and drinks were great (no shortage of a strong drink)! Food trucks are rotating but always have great options and they post them on their Instagram handle at the beginning of the day/night. Plenty of tables to stand around. They also have "cabanas" you can rent for larger groups of people. Only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because the night we left, the inside was very empty/dead and as we were walking out here were probably 200 people waiting in line. I would have been very upset if I stood in that line and inside was empty. Bathrooms were also very, very disgusting.

Yelp
I would not recommend this place. My group rented a lounge, but it was not worth it. Upon arrival, you will be searched. There is a very long list of contraband. No vapes allowed, no cake, no balloons- basically don't bring anything here. The bouncers are very rude. We were also told we could get back in the venue anytime with our wrist bands, but the bouncers put up a flight about us getting back in. The second half of our party showed up and they were denied because they didn't "check in" at 7, despite the fact that we reserved the whole longe until close. The manager got involved, about 20 minutes out going back and forth he finally let us in. Then we told we didn't meet the "drink minimum" by 8pm- despite the fact that we prepaid for $1000 of alcohol for the night. This place just felt like a big scam.

Yelp
The Tall Ship in East Boston is a lot of fun! There's food, food trucks, drinks, corn hole, a ship bar to hangout on, great music, and a little gift shop. Drinks and food are fairly priced compared to other Boston establishments. Now if you aren't used to city prices, then you will probably think things here are overpriced. There's lots of space to walk around, lots of picnics tables to sit at, and some tall tables to stand at. Tall Ship also does fun collabs with various groups, I've done a barre groove workout class here. Pros: All employees are extremely friendly, helpful, and nice. They'll offer to take photos for you, throw away your trash, and they will let you know how long the line is anticipated to be. Bottom Line: This destination is a very unique experience for many different reasons. This destination is somewhat weather dependent and they tend to close last minute when there is a forecast of heavy rain/ inclement weather. Recommendation: The lounge reservations are over priced and your group can have just as much fun with it. But, if you do have a lounge reservation, your group gets to cut the entry line which can sometimes be long. Pro Tip: Save yourself the hassle of trying to find parking and arrive by water taxi, Uber, t, or pay to valet park ($15 during the week, $25 on the weekends). Sometimes on the weekend there is a long line to get ID'ed/ be given a wristband for entry. Go early and get a wristband, you can re-enter again that same day without waiting in the line again as long as you still have your wristband on. Cons: The bathrooms are porta potties.

Yelp
One of the security guys working on 7/31 (I couldn't catch his name but I pointed him out to a female bartender) needs some retraining and an attitude adjustment.. Long story is short..My husband and I just got here and walked to the bar and first thing we heard from some "security guy"before even getting a bartender's attention was "move closer to the bar..I mean right now"..and he pushed my husband towards the bar..just because some employee was carrying some ice bucket.. My husband was like- easy man. I don't need anyone touching, pushing or talking to us like that when we just got there to get a drink..There is a definitely a language could be used without that aggression we had experienced. Shame!

Yelp
I repeat do not come here for food or drinks DO NOT SPEND UR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE. Drinks are over priced and nothing crazy I don't even think they have a cocktail menu just ask the bartender for a drink and hopefully she'll make it right Bartenders are nice though Food is terrible Just come here for the view then leave I honestly love this place the view and the atmosphere but security is very aggressive which kind of kills the vibe I recommend going to taco Mexico if your in the mood for the best Mexican food in east Boston or go to Rinos for Italian food they have the biggest chicken Parm in Boston

Yelp
Such a fun place to go for the day and a great addition to Eastie. As an Eastie local I am happy that more places are taking advantage of the amazing water views. If you're there grab a couple of mudslides from the Rum booth to the left and a picnic table to enjoy awesome skyline views. So happy they finally opened for the season. (If you value your life do not order the sushi they sell on the actual boat that sushi should be a criminal offense... the oysters were fine though!)
