The Tanjore Tiffin Room, Goa

Loved it – green, clean, and delicious! Visited Tanjore Tiffin Room, Goa and had such a great experience. The place is very green, clean, and beautifully maintained, with a really calming vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Jackfruit Kebab and honestly, the taste was amazing — super flavourful and perfectly cooked. One of the best parts was their 16 small bowl taster option, where you can mix and match curries, rice, and chutneys of your choice. It’s a fun way to try multiple flavours in one meal. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re in Goa and want authentic South Indian food with a great ambience!

Oh. My. Goodness. One of the best dining experiences ever. From the cocktails to the starters to the main course - wow. The service is exceptional and the owners - Karen and Karthik - so welcoming and hospitable. The blackened pork belly was exceptional, as was the filleted fish. The piece de resistance was the 'gravy tasting' for you to decide your main course. A rare if not a unique experience. Stunning experience and one I will never forget.

Amazing South Indian food in a very chilled and relaxed vibe. Loved the concept of main course curry tasting before ordering as it really gives a very good idea about the various curries they offer. Will happily come back again.

Hey this place had a good vibe, we ate just one dish coz we were a lil full, but it was so yummy, so as u enter they give u two tiny cups of warm rassam, which has a pepper punch to it was yummy and hot! U can order starters if not they get u this platter of curries to taste, based on which u can order accordingly I'm a coconut seet gravy kinda girl so i was eyeing the stew, but the Madras railway curry blew my mind😍we had it with appam Coz I like my mutton tendor and prefer it to melt in my mouth, the barist said it wouldn't exactly be like that so we chose chicken, and the chicken was super soft and yummm The portions were good enough for two, value for money,must visit They don't serve hot beverages here

Ambience is very good, family and kid friendly. Kanika helped us with gravy tasting experience for ordering main course. She was very sweet and explained everything very well. There were many vegetarian options too. We went a day after Christmas, they gave us a complimentary home made plum cake which was very tasty. Our overall experience was superb and we will definitely visit again. ♥️

This was truly a wonderful experience. I feel this place is quite underrated and definitely deserves more recognition. A special mention to their main course tasting session—it’s an absolutely brilliant and convenient concept. The staff was very dedicated, and the unique atmosphere they’ve created really stands out. The food was amazing as well. Highly recommended!

Today I visited The place with very excitement but everything all was faded up with Food received on my table. Being a South Indian restaurant and I am also from Chennai but You can't change the Authenticity of the Dish is taste pathetic. Just bolied chicken on Rosted Masala gravy, even I asked the server to make it little less gravy, That also not accepted as the gravy taste like Masala Panner Kofta 😡🤬 while in so call South Indian Restaurant. The Portion size is another also even not justified the price. Server is not at all attentive need to ask lime, Onion,Water etc. Just Giving 1 start because there no option to given below this. Not at all worth of going back there or neither recommend to go for Authentic food lover.

I love Tanjore in Mumbai and the food was as good as it is there! The atmosphere is brilliant and so green absolutely loved it. The Nethili fry is my favourite to munch with cocktails (in picture) you just can’t stop munching on these tangy spicy fried fish. And before you order your food they give you a ginger platter of multiple sauces/curry bases, explain each and let you try so you can decide what meat you would want in what kind of curry/sauce Had a great meal Recommended :)
