What the heck happened here????? Generally, we go to Lake Mead 4-5 times per year, and The Tap is in our dinner rotation. Eight of us went in for dinner on Sunday night, Memorial Day weekend at 7:45. This was a 180 degree turn from my prior experiences here. Service was awful. It appeared there was only one server/bartender/busser for the restaurant. I never saw another employee, just the one girl. She was aloof, probably overwhelmed. Our food took forever, and came out in stages (two people didn't get their meals until the other six of us had finished ours- yes, they urged us to eat, we were trying to wait until all eight meals came, but it became apparent that wasn't gonna happen). The food, well, not great. Not really good either. Not sure what happened there- we had a cheesesteak sandwich, burgers, burritos and all of them were below average. Personally, I only had chips and guac, and that was actually excellent. Condiments, the table had none, and since the waitress never came back around, I went searching for salt, pepper, ranch, mustard, ketchup, etc. I found a waitress station off of the bar and had to fend for myself. Drinks, well, we received one round, but were never offered a second round. Overall, very disappointing considering the level of service and food only a while back. Four more lake trips planned this summer, so we'll see if The Tap remains in the rotation.
