Grab a drink as you enter the market and enjoy it while you walk around the other shops and dining options. Such a good selection of beers too!

Google
This place is great!  Many craft beer options located right in Ponce City Market.  The staff behind the bar were very knowledgeable and friendly, helping us to lock down our choices.

Found this place thanks to Untappd and became and instant favorite for me in Atlanta! The variety of local and from interstate beers is awesome! They also got imports in case you are hunting them. Definitely a must for beer lovers in Atlanta, not to be missed!

Google
Love walking over here for solid selections of non-alcoholic & THC bevvies. Dozens of beer selections on draft or solid range of canned craft. There’s a lot of range of wines bottled or draft, but I don’t really drink that frequently. Sake selection is also solid. Can’t sample here since it looks like it’s a package store, but seasoned bartenders usually give solid recs and can help point you in the right direction. They have giveaways frequently on IG and haven’t won one yet but trying (pls pick me)!!! Super chill spot.

Google
Great cider and beer options. Able to walk around Ponce City Market with our drinks from here.

Google
Decent collection of bottles, sorry I mean beer and wine. You buy the bottle not the booze, booze comes with the container. They've multiple sizes of containers to choose from. Hoppy, fruity, non-hoppy and many other options available.

Google
It's okay. Very expensive for what it is but I guess that's for all places in Ponce. I regret not going to Kroger across the Beltline to grab something there for like 1/6 the price so probably won't return.

Great beer selection and very knowledgeable staff to guide you through your choices

Yelp
DRINK BEER HERE! After lunch this place caught my eye as their beer and alcohol selection on tap looked expansive (56 to be exact--44 beers and 14 wines), especially for a location in the food hall. Aside from what's on tap they carry a selection of bottled and canned beers and wines too. From their website their initial vision was to be a growler shop, and they've been able to do that here at this location since it opened in 2016. This means offering refillable containers of varying sizes making it possible to offer independent brewers that may not have their own bottling/canning capabilities. Their staff is very knowledgeable and willing to offer recommendations based on your preferences. I tried a few things: - New Realm Oaxaca Chocolate (Mexican chocolate stout) $8.99 for 16.9oz thermos: I loved this dark beer with a deep malty chocolate note that leaves a hint of chili spice on your tongue. - Meridian Hive Apple Pie Mead $7.99 for a 8oz pour. On the sweeter side for a mead though not overly so. I liked the honey flavor lingering in the background. - Atlanta Hard Cider Co Cranberry craft cider $6.95 this local seasonal cider hails from Marietta, I enjoyed the balance of sweet and tart, not a flavor you usually see for ciders and I appreciate the creativity! Seating for The Tap is plentiful in the area directly across from the counter, both high tables with stools and regular lower tables with chairs.

Yelp
Beer is beer. This place is clean and the bar has lots of elbow room. Bartenders are quick and the vibe here is chill. Three beers for less than $30 in Midtown, you can't go wrong. Ne back soon.

Yelp
My family and I visited the Ponce City Market this past summer while we were on a road trip. We made it there by way of the Atlanta Beltline, which is conveniently connected to the market. The plan was to stop there for lunch, but there were so many choices that we had trouble deciding what kind of cuisine that we wanted. After grabbing some food at a couple of different places, we stopped at The Tap On Ponce: a craft beer bar that features 56 taps on draught beer, cider, and even wine! I enjoyed a pour of Superstition Meadery's "Blueberry Spaceship Box" (Blueberry Cider) while my wife enjoyed a pour of Red Hare Brewing's "Root Beer". We were both very happy with our choices.

Yelp
My partner n I had a mango cart and the #50 wine (I think). The wine was STRONG! Worth it. The mango cart was to die for per usual. Service was good, even though we got there late. The ambiance was cool, plenty of beers and wines to choose from. I'd definitely come back.

Yelp
The Tap is technically a bottle shop and therefore, they are not allowed to provide samples and you are not allowed to drink the beer on site. But they're just a small shop in the much larger Ponce City Market so once you've made your selection and it is appropriately packaged to go, you can sit at any of the tables or benches in the market and consume! I got a tin of their kolsch and my friend got a unique white wine that she's not seen before. Her wine came in a "sippy cup" sort of container that looked like a juice box. And technically, it was a juice box! Lots of choices and the prices seemed fair! [Review 18920 overall - 558 in Georgia - 2443 of 2022.]

Yelp
The staff is so amazing!! Very informative and helpful with what I was looking to try! Shout out to Jon who helped me out! Nothing but good vibes here! Many options to choose from. Definitely need to head out there and try it if you're in the area!!

Madeline D.

Yelp
12/10 would recommend!! Everyone at Tap is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The beer is always great and I always love to support a thriving small business-- Especially one as good as this!

Michael M.

Yelp
Bunch of d*ckheads work here. Zero patience, dismissive and rude. You would think fellow beer nerds would like to answer questions but nah. Manager is an ass hat too. Never patronizing again.
google avatar

Michelle Y.

Yelp
Love the tap! They have a menu that's always changing based on what's in season which I love. People are also super nice, and I like to ask them what's good + let them know what I'm feeling and they'll give great recommendations. The place isn't sit-down, but obviously there's lots of places to hang out at Ponce City Market.
google avatar

Yelp
Solid selection. Best part was talking to Derek, he did a great job helping us with our choice and just being a nice guy.

Yelp
This is not one of those pretentious craft beer joints- really friendly staff that answer all of your questions graciously. ... also... REALLY good beer If you see my feed, you see my beers. This place nails it. I had the 8oz bottle of Pilsner from the menu board. Very simple order process spelled out for you... you pick the container you want, pick the beer, and check out. I picked the plastic bottle and took a to-go plastic cup to sit and drink in the common area of PCM. The beer was crisp, full bodied and very reasonably priced. Wish I lived in walking distance, this is such a good spot to swing by for an afterwork beer. 5 stars for beer taste, price for the size of beer, covid cleanliness, and all staff being helpful & friendly

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. There was a great selection of beers and ciders and the staff were incredibly friendly. I'm a huge fan of sours and will definitely be back to try more! Highly recommend if you're looking to grab a drink with a friend and catch up with a chill vibe.

Yelp
Love popping in here when I want to have a drink to take instead of sitting somewhere at ponce. They always have some great wines on tap, and also have a bunch of wine and beer for sale in the back. Good selection, great choice if you're in the neighborhood as a walk in bottle shop. I believe they're owned by Greenes across the street so you know it's run well. Service is awesome. I usually walk in when Tim is working. Everyone is always very knowledgeable and are always happy to give an honest opinion to help you pick what you'd love. Quick cute little place with a surprisingly good selection.

Yelp
Great selection of beers, cider & wine. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. The line can get long, so be patient :)

Yelp
The Tap on Ponce has a variety of beers and a small and okay wine list. My husband and I had two wines here -- a pinot noir and a Rioja -- that were served to us in 8 oz plastic bottles. Despite the hipster setting of Ponce City Market, I would have preferred not drinking wine out of a plastic bottle. I would suggest Tap on Ponce getting some wine glasses, or plastic cups. Happy Hour specials would be nice too.
google avatar

Ang K.

Yelp
Cool concept on to go drinks in different sizes. I think I got a red blend and it was pretty good, poured into this cute little 8oz bottle. Convenient while walking around the market.
google avatar

Yelp
Perfect place for grabbing a drink at PCM. Very wide selection and friendly staff. My only complaint is the prices, very high markup.
google avatar

Jones H.

Yelp
First time here! One of the biggest beer shops I've ever been to. You stand in line, pick the beer you want to drink. The staff was very nice. The Tap is located inside Ponce City Market.
google avatar

Jurel H.

Yelp
A large variety of beers and wine on tap. You have many different sizes you can have your alcohol in (8oz to 64oz) I was impressed with the good selection of imports, especially the Belgian wheats. I also found a drink my son wanted called Bang (energy drink).I guess it's a rare drink that isn't offered in Buffalo, NY. This place is well worth the visit for the beers and wine.

Chanler H.

Yelp
We loved it! Our first time at Ponce City market, but we had 4 different kinds of the beers from The Tap and each were great! Fun environment would highly recommend!
google avatar

Tabitha H.

Yelp
Beer to go? Yes please. Didn't expect to see craft beers in the South. They're a staple in the West Coast. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of beers on tap. I wish there were more local beers available. They do have quite a bit of IPA so if you're not in the mood your selection might be less. I had the Mexican Empire Lager. It was crisp and refreshing. Clever how it was poured into a can for that hipster feel. Not sure if there was a tasting option but would've loved to create my own flight of local brews.
google avatar

Jordan M.

Yelp
Wonderful beer selection! Lots of options for beer and wine on tap which is great! I noticed a lot of the beers were local Georgia beers. Not sure if the wines were local though but I thought it was cool that you can get wine on tap as well so almost everyone in your group can leave with something they're looking forward to enjoying. They also have a pretty decent canned beer selection in the refrigerated cases. I noticed the prices for the canned beer of the same style and quantity was about half of the on-tap beers. So if you just want a regular beer with your meal, this actually is a good option at half the price than the on tap beer price. Beer nerd alert! I actually bought a beer from the refrigerated case that was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. It was a spring seasonal Sierra Nevada Hop Bullet Double IPA stove pipe which is a 19.2oz can at 8% ABV for only $3.99 as compared to the $4.99 and up for the 16oz option of the on tap beers. This particular beer has a ("ballistic burst of aggressive hop character") Sierra Nevada created specifically for this beer using a "double-barreled slug of Magnum hops and lupulin dust" that is added right into the fermenter. End beer nerd alert! You can drink your alcoholic beverages anywhere inside of Ponce City market, which is actually a great option.

Yelp
Always my favorite spot for grabbing a lager while looking for my next meal in the Ponce Market. They have a variety of beers on tap. They also carry a variety of local beers in the can or bottle. You can also get some large size growlers to take your beer home. This is a great spot to hangout at & enjoy some good brews. The staff is usually friendly & very knowledgeable.
google avatar

Raven T.

Yelp
Love the selection! Took me forever to make a decision but the staff was knowledgeable and attentive while also being swift to accommodate the line wrapping around its small space. Ended up with 3 sours that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was the highlight of my evening since im an introvert masquerading as an extrovert and there were WAY too many f'in people in there! Not sure how often they rotate the options but can't wait to go back to try more.
google avatar

Russell A.

Yelp
With 20+ beers on tap, it's a nice place to grab an 8oz. Bottle or if you're really thirsty you can get a growler. An added bonus is that This place is in ponce city market and you can open carry and drink all through ponce as well! Makes window shopping more fun! Just be sure you're sober by the time you drive. Cheers!!
google avatar

Amanda T.

Yelp
For here or to go? The Tap on Ponce, a beverage store in Ponce City Market, features 44 beer taps and 12 wine taps. At Ponce City Market, drinks are allowed in the Food Hall and other common areas. Most stores even allow you to drink while you shop!
google avatar

Daniel C.

Yelp
Such a great concept and execution. Choose from a plethora of beers and sizes....with NO restrictions when it comes to the amount of beer to ABV. And by that I mean...Usually if a beer has an ABV of 8% or higher, you're limited to MAYBE 10oz. but here.....you can get a muhfrackin 64oz. growler of 12% stout NO PROBLEM. GAME CHANGER.  Needless to say, we got turnt up.  The service is phenomenal and it's cool watching them pour and can your beverage in front of you. Oh, the only thing is, you can't take any beverages up to the roof, so just keep that in mind when you decide to get a growler to start the night off.
google avatar

Gabrielle D.

Yelp
A superb craft beer shop in the food court section of a lovely market. They have more taps than I've seen in one place before. They fill crowlers and growlers of all sizes. I saw people walking away with the growler and plastic cups so I assume your free to drink the beer in the food court. How awesome is that?! I purchased local cans and bottles to bring in my suitcase home and didn't get a fill. I also didn't get a solid look at the tap list, but it looked to be dank.
google avatar

Colin W.

Yelp
This bar is amazing, the tap selection they have is just out of this world. They have all different sizes of beer you can get, highly recommend!!!!!
google avatar

Lauren D.

Yelp
Got the pint to go of fun pants beer. The place is very clean and following the proper sanitation protocols. The beer I got, fun pants, is a pineapple and mango hints and you can only smell the mango but the taste was lacking. My boyfriend also didn't love his beer (forgot the name). Might give this place one more shot before I fully turn my nose up at it.
google avatar

Ayatt A.

Yelp
This place is so fucking cool! So many beers on tap and they'll put in a can or jug of your choice and seal the top! So creative. If you're into white wine try the #47. If you're into stout beers try the chocolate & sea salt one. So good!!
google avatar

Jason H.

Yelp
Great spot with a lot of draft choices with some cool containers . Lite to strong beer with all different sizes. Employees are real helpful
google avatar

Kyle T.

Yelp
Inside Ponce Street market, The Tap has a variety of beers and wines! You can pick the size you want and walk around and enjoy your day. Affordable and the staff are very accommodating to help you choose what fits your taste best.
google avatar

Magaly P.

Yelp
They have a large selection of beers but do not offer flights or tastings. So rather than a $10 flight of several beers so that you can choose one you like, you have to spend $5-$7 on one pint and hope you like it or you've wasted your money. We also asked the employees if they could compare the beers to popular, well known beers to give us an idea of the taste. They were not able to do so. Not worth the trip.
google avatar

Veeral S.

Yelp
Great concept! You can choose to over 20 different beers and wine. Then pick a place to eat, shop, or just walk around the area. SERVICE: They are extremely friendly and recommend their favorite beers. ATMOSPHERE: A great vintage and modern look. PARKING: This place is inside Ponce City Market. Download ParkMobile and find a spot.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
The variety offered at The Tap is so versatile! There is always something for everyone! While I am willing to try just about everything, I'm more of a light, craft beer kinda girl - always finding the Berliner Weiss or Gosé. I love love loved the Creature Comfort Tritonia, which is a pineapple lemon gosé. I love the ease of the plastic pint bottles and the recyclability of them as well! It's a safe way to walk around Ponce with a drink and not feel like you're gonna drop a glass and break it! My friend got the Creature Comforts Classic City, which she also really enjoyed. Parking is easy, with the Ponce deck and using the ParkMobile app makes it even easier!!
google avatar

Abha S.

Yelp
Love this place. They have a huge variety of wine and beer and all reasonably priced. Convenient if you need to pick up a bottle for a friend or family gathering!
google avatar

Ashlee B.

Yelp
Finally stopped here to grab a drink while waiting for some takeout. I can only have cider or gluten free beers, so I wasn't super impressed with the tap selection (the only cider was Bold Rock). There also didn't seem to be much variety in terms of the "regular beer"--mostly stouts and porters. I was about to walk away when the woman behind the counter let us know we could help ourselves to any of the cans/bottles in the coolers as well. Game changer. I snagged a Glutenberg gluten free blonde ale (in a tall can!) and was happy as can be. So, extra star for customer service and bottled selection. The taps themselves weren't too impressive.
google avatar

Tara T.

Yelp
This place is seriously great! Lots of beers (so many) and a good number of cider and wine options as well. Lots of size options too. I especially love the little cans they give you your draught beer in. Easy to carry around! Beers will run $6-8 for 12-16 ounces. Really great time!
google avatar

William R.

Yelp
Cool spot at Ponce City Market. They had a wide variety of beers and wines on tap. Thought they had a good thing going with all of those restaurants in there.
google avatar

Cheyenne M.

Yelp
Every staff member here is so down to earth, and I can tell, genuinely appreciate the products they are selling. It is also a very convenient stop-by for a group that has a variety of drinking preferences!
google avatar

Devin K.

Yelp
Great concept; horrible service. I practically live at ponce. My girlfriend and I are here 3-4 days a week! When we arrived, there was no setup or directions to tell you where the line began. With 2 different entrances, obviously this can be a little confusing. We stood in line for a few minutes, only to get to the counter and be told that you had to go to the other need to order. Annoying, and by now a line of 15-20 people had grown that was not there when we arrived. There are no signs to separate the order line and pay line. And people just move along cutting in front of others. We head to the back of the "order" line and attempt to wait our turn. When the guy in front of us finally ordered and walked down to the pay side, we stepped up literally right in front of the counter. There was an employee standing directly in front of us and he walks to the right (his left) and asks the guys BEHIND US were they ready to order. UM.... EXCUSE ME! I AM STANDING DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF YOU! My girlfriend and I both look at him like you've got to be kidding, and she proceeds to say, "I am standing right here!" Rude, disrespectful, and completely disturbing. I could understand if there were multiple people standing at the counter at the time, but you completely ignored us to ask the men BEHIND US if they were ready to order. My girlfriend is an avid beer drinker. Always trying something new, visiting breweries, etc. I am a wine connoisseur myself. So, The Tap having both beer and wine on tap was a huge YES for us. I really wanted to love this place like we love everything else in Ponce City Market, but first impressions are everything... The Tap made a terrible one! We decided next time we come, we'll give it a second try. Hopefully, things will improve. My advice: get some organization, some manners, and create visible lines and directions. Come on Tap, we are rooting for you!
google avatar

Fang Ting K.

Yelp
A wide selection of draft beer that you don't see a lot else where. They bottled the beer for you so it's perfect to take it to go. Since they don't provide samplers, you can tell them what kind of beer you like for their suggestion, it went well for me most of the time.
google avatar

Sara M.

Yelp
I try not to spend too much time in here because if I did, I'd need a shopping cart for all of the delicious beer I'd end up leaving with. So I usually just stop in when there's something in particular I want or if I'm at Ponce City Market for something else. For draft beer, the crowler is my go-to option. Mostly because it's a cool, giant can. I don't usually eat at PCM but I love that you can get a 16 oz bottle of a draft beer to go along with delicious food from one of the many food stalls. Oh, and they have wine, in bottles and on draft. But I don't really care about that.
google avatar

Jennette P.

Yelp
Cool place with lots of beers on tap and craft beer packs to take home as well. We ordered our draft beers and they were served in plastic bottles. Really cool idea because you get to talk around the whole market place win your beer and you can recap it. This concept also helps prevent beer spilling when in crowded areas! Overall good beer selection and to go options.
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
Finally! Ponce City Market has a beer shop! I adore Hop City at Krog Street Market and was very much hoping that something similar would open up at PCM. The Tap is a bit different, but still pretty cool. Let me explain: This is not a bar. This is not really a package store (though they do sell some bottles). This is a growler-only store. Normally I wouldn't get that excited about a growler filling spot. BUT, you can buy 16oz, 32oz, or 64oz containers. Which means that basically, you can buy a beer or 2 at a time and either take it to go or stroll around PCM. Because of some bunk liquor law, they're not allowed to just pour you a cup of beer. But they'll pour you a bottle or can of beer and give you a cup :-) [Sidebar: it should be said that this is not a sustainable way to drink beer. Paying for beer in a non-reusable plastic bottle with the intention of pouring it into a plastic cup isn't what we should aim for.] And they have great beer! Check out their site for a current list of what they're pouring: http://www.atthetap.com/on-tap. I'm sure it changes a lot. The best value is definitely the 32oz can. If you're splitting it with someone, you each get a beer for ~$4! Not bad, PCM!!
google avatar

Phi P.

Yelp
Beer and wine selection is great, but the staff member on 2/28/2018 at 2:30 was terrible. I came in asking for recommendations and gave him my preference. He was undermining and uninterested. I'd say rude in tone. Mind you, we were the only ones there at the time. If you want a good selection but bad service, the Tap on Prince is the place to go. According to other reviews, they have great staff, but this particular time, it was at best unpleasant.
google avatar

Wendy D.

Yelp
The Tap on Ponce is a beer and wine vendor of sorts inside Ponce City Market-- they have bottled/canned beer and bottles of wine available for purchase, as well as a huge array of (mostly) local taps they bottle or can themselves. You can buy any size of a local beer or wine straight from the tap, from a 16 oz. plastic bottle to a 20 oz. aluminum can to a standard growler. My husband and I have biked to PCM several times and stopped at The Tap on Ponce to grab a beer. You just walk up to the counter, pick your poison, and they bottle or seal it right it front of you with this nifty machine. Because all of PCM is open-container (but NOT the beltline!), we usually get cups with our drinks and either sit outside downstairs or upstairs on the benches. The prices aren't cheap, since it's nearly all craft beer or nicer wines- around $7 for a 16 oz. pour-, but you can usually find brews you can't find elsewhere (I'm looking at you, tropicalia!). On the whole, it's an awesome addition to Ponce City, and I definitely see them being successful here. My only complaint with Tap is its inability to pour straight into a cup. We all know draft beer tastes better than bottled, so to see if being poured from a tap into a bottle, only to pour it into a cup 2 minutes later feels silly. I'm sure it has something to do with their liability or their designation as a store and not a bar, but it would be a great touch to be able to have a true draft beer inside Ponce (much like Hop City inside Krog Street).
