The last time I was here it was the West Pitcher show. It has gone through many changes since then , not all good, so I am glad to see it returning to the historic theater it once was. I was there for a Yelp event and the owner talked to us about the history, the movie screen is original from 1941, doesn't go up or down and the the Tarlton is the only real cinema left in Green Bay. I love the dinner and a movie concept and the Tarlton does so much more; Saturday cartoons with brunch, drag shows, karaoke, live music, charity events, weddings, and more. For our movie night we had the captain crunch chicken tenders and lobster mac-n-cheese, I am not a fan of captain crunch or chicken tenders so I thought they were just okay but kids would love them. I love Mac-n-cheese and am pretty picky about it, believe it or not this was the best lobster Mac I've ever had, perfect amount of lobster, creamy cheese sauce, so good I would go here just for that! My friend ordered the Caesar salad and they weren't able to make it because they didn't have any lettuce. The reason was because the Farmer's market had been cancelled the day before, I love the fact they source produce from local farmers so that is another plus. I can't wait to go here again and attend some of the different events, the owner is a nice guy and a musician himself, the staff is friendly and efficient and while they make sure you have food and drinks during the movie, they do it in such a way to not disturb your experience. I will definitely go back and recommend taking advantage of this unique gem.
