I love this place! Food is always delicious and perfectly seasoned. The cocktails are also delicious if that is your kind of thing <3. Staff is always nice and friendly and has good recommendations if you wanna try something knew. The place is always clean and relaxing especially when there is live music.

First time here and we ate outside. Very nice. Service quick and friendly. Food did not come out together but was not a game changer. Would return and highly recommend . No picture but the daily appetizer was fantastic- fried green beans

A bit expensive for burgers a la carte, but they were delicious. Poutine was non traditional but still quite good, especially the gravy. Beer and tap selection is exceptional. I liked the build-your-own-burger selections, but I wish they had a signature burger recommendation.

The wings here are amazing, best I’ve had. They’re crispy and crunchy, and the garlic parm and buffalo is so so yummy. We also go the elk burger which was so tasty and well worth it. We didn’t leave feeling super heavy and full, it was perfect!!! The service was amazing, our waitress was super sweet and helpful with the beers too. Must try!

This restaurant/bar serves the best burgers we’ve ever had, made with locally sourced meat and fresh ingredients from nearby farms. My husband gets the wagyu burger on a locally made milk bun, and I love the gluten-free option — both are unbelievable! The fries, wings, and cocktails are just as amazing, and everything they serve is packed with flavor. The staff is warm, welcoming, and we look forward to coming back every year. Truly a must-visit spot!

Ordered a veggie burger and cheese burger. The veggie burger was delicious! It was very flavorful and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their hibiscus jam sauce was so unique and delicious. Highly recommend it. They also have a pumpkin and peanut butter snack for your puppers

We came here after dropping our kids off at camp, and we found the atmosphere and service to be quite good. I ordered a bison burger with poutine fries, while my wife had a Wagyu burger. My burger was tasty, and the poutine fries were amazing, but I can't say the same about my wife's burger, which had a strange taste. It seemed like a frozen patty that had been quickly defrosted taste. We also ordered some cocktails, but they were somewhat watered down, so we both switched to beer. Overall, it was a good experience, and we will definitely come back.

We were driving through the area and decided to stop here for lunch. What a great decision!!! The menu was not very big, so it was easy to make a decision. The atmosphere was cozy and they had a great selection of NY craft beers. Also, their ingredients are sourced from local business. I had the Wagyu burger and my wife had the venison burger and both were cooked to perfection! Probably one of the best burgers ive ever had. The fries were outstanding as well. If I could give this place 6 stars I would.

The Tasting Lab was an unexpected gem! I ordered the cheesesteak, and having spent half my life in Philly, I'm definitely picky about them. This version wasn't the usual shaved ribeye. it was thinly sliced, incredibly tender, and seasoned to perfection. The cheese sauce was rich and flavorful. My only critique is the roll, it was super soft, so the juicy meat and cheese made it a little soggy. Still, the flavor more than made up for it, easily a 4 out of 5 on the sandwich alone. The rest of the experience? Absolute 10. They know how to season their food, and the variety of sauces they offer takes things to the next level. My husband tried the beer flight and loved it. We sat outside, and the whole place had such a fun, laid-back energy. We're not from the area, but if we were, this would be a weekly go-to. Highly recommend for foodies, beer lovers, and anyone who appreciates bold flavors and a good time. Service was great and I have nothing it good things to say.

Absolutely love the vibe an and all of the food, the mutt specials are so unique and amazing. Very good and long beer and drink menu, don't forget to try the bison burger, as well as the mutt specials and the amazing craft beers there. Always have a great time with staff and food is always fresh, quick, and delicious

We love this place! The burgers are always perfectly done, the poutine is a family favorite and the mutt burgers are always amazing as well. We love getting to try the local brews on tap and have discovered a lot of new favorites. Live music is always a bonus.

Finally a restaurant both my husband and I agree on. The food is so good, we went two weekends in a row. The first visit I tried the wings and side salad. The wings were so fresh they came out steaming hot. So good. The salad hit the spot too. My husband really liked their regular burger so much last time that this time he tried a double wagyu burger, it was huge and he loved it. I think it's his favorite restaurant burger. And I tried the Mac and cheese and fries. Hit the spot. And it's so cute inside and the patio looks great. And everyone has been so friendly and the food comes out quickly. We will keep coming back.

I can't say enough good things about the Tasting Lab. The food is spectacular. SPECTACULAR. This place is about burgers and beers. Lots of burger choices (pick your protein, pick your cheese, pick your toppings... you get the idea) and over 30 microbrews on tap. There are other good things on the menu but really all you need is a burger and a beer. The burgers are simply the best I ever had, and I have had a burger at Peter Lugers in NYC (secret lunch menu item... try it). I have been there ten times in the last three months or so and every burger is wonderful. The fries are fresh and the wings are very very special. And then the beer... The selection changes almost daily so they keep the beer menu on line. They have the best micro brew selection I have ever seen. Ok there are two things I don't like in the menu, but they seem to be others favorites. (poutine and jalapeño poppers). But that really doesn't matter because you come for the burgers. All locally sourced beef, veal, elk, chicken, etc. The servers are locals, so expect good people doing their best. The food may take a bit because they are making awesome, awesome, fresh food. On word of caution, their burgers are really really addicting... writing this review has made me decide to go right now...

What does it say about a restaurant when they use plastic take out containers in 2024. Lack of respect to their customers. Lets take our steaming food and seal it in plastic... Enjoy! Lack of respect to their own product. It will always taste soggy and sad. Lack of respect to the local environment. Plastic covered in food oils can be very difficult to recycle. You can't be a local business, appear to care, but drop the ball on what your business is putting out into the world. You're part of the problem, you're slowly giving our community cancer. Shame on you. Do you want to be like every other dinosaur? Also, honestly the staff clearly just doesn't care. I stopped in the other day to pick up a take out order and the kitchen staff all turned to see who was picking up the order, in a suspicious kind of way... When I got home, the chicken sandwich I ordered was so bad... Chicken burnt so much it lost all flavor besides oils, and so dry you couldn't take a bite. Poutine fries could be great, but bland. Fancy meats for burgers, but they're all the same type of bland. Average fries yet always an additional cost. Great beer selection usually. As a local, you want a business like this to succeed. I've put off this review for years. I've been dealing with sad service from this place for years and just kinda done now. I don't want to harm the business, I just want them to get better. Change/limit your menu. Source better ingredients, if you are already, then why doesn't it ever taste like it. Actually serve your community.

Awesome stuff good beer. Food was alright but not great. Was pricy so not a weekly stop but still good overall.

This place is hit or miss . We loved the wings but were not consistent each time we ordered them . Loved the burgers but again , not consistent with taste. The wine was terrible so order beer which is what they specialize in anyway .

This is an awesome restaurant. Definitely would love to go back. We had the best elk and venison burgers. Great service and ambiance. A real gem.

My family suggested this place while I was in the area visiting. The interior has high ceilings and nice woodwork with a beautiful bar setup all along one wall. They specialize in burgers and I went with a bunless option that was fantastic. I think that was the best burger patty I've ever had! I must say the food exceeded my expectations and our server was super helpful and friendly with the small children we had with us. I will be delighted to go back again when in the area.

Best veggie burger I ever had! Amazingly delicious tiny vanilla cupcake. Just right! Great love music too. Tarik Shah trio was fire! I'm biased mind you since I sat in and sang two tunes. Came in from Albany. Worth the trip! Veggie Burger

What a find in Greenville on the way home from Olana! Great food, friendly service, so many beers on tap, and nice music outside on a spring afternoon! Burgers, chicken sandwich, wings, and jalapeño poppers all fantastic!

I came to order take-out and there was a twenty five minute wait. My waitress was very nice and helpful. I ordered a drink and I asked if I could have a glass for the can. She showed me the couch and a chair while I waited. They made you feel welcome

Beautifully designed space, an incredibly friendly staff and delicious food. What more can a local guy ask for? We had the pretzel appetizer, the beer cheese dip is out of this world. Same for both the beef and veggie burger my wife and I had. Really look forward to our next visit

Great food and great service. Large rotating menu of beer and cider on draft plus a selection of cans. Definitely the largest selection of craft beer in the area with nearly 30 options on tap! The build your own burgers are always great and the fries are crispy and homemade. The beautiful new patio is dog friendly and offers live music on weekends.

Had a great lunch at the Tasting Lab- nicely following safety protocol- especially that they are indoor only. Great design of the space. We enjoyed a beef burger and a venison burger with some yummy fries. Nice beer selection and having a flight made it a fun tasting! Great place for a party! Needs better signage! There isn't much food worth writing home about in Greenville. In fact, it's pretty sad. Until now. The tasting lab is the first legit, professional place I've seen around here in a long time. They have a lot of burger options! Elk, bison, beef, veg. Its just so good. I cant wait to try them all. Even a Mediterranean salad side. Run dont walk!

Little to no training in front of house. First time called for pick up, they said "not ready yet, have a seat over there and someone will get you when ready"...27 minutes later I realized nobody was aware of me and by then my order was cold and soggy, but food was ok, though under seasoned. Next time I ate in but again I felt totally ignored, like none of the staff was going to make eye contact as they hurried around in an almost empty restaurant. I had to say loudly"excuse me, can I please have..." another beer, or ketchup, or my fries...but food was better, so went back with my girlfriend, I feel bad for this visit because our waitress was totally overwhelmed and unequipped to interact in a half full restaurant. They were out of my choice but had similar alternative, so I asked for a bun on the side, and she refused to even ask the kitchen, so I asked the kitchen and no problem, so why was she so afraid to ask for a bun? And because I went around her she totally messed up the rest of the order and I had to ask her for everything missing several times. Just horrible service 3 times in a row. Whose minding the store?

Love having a place so close to home!! Great ambiance and cute dog decor. Limited menu, but everything on it is good. The daily Mutt Burger changes up all the time and that is a fun feature. The servers are friendly and easy going.

Don't skip this place! Excellent flights, excellent food, friendly and prompt service, cool environment!

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and we were all completely blown away. Best burgers and chicken sandwiches we've ever had. The maple bourbon sauce is to die for. The dirt chicken sauce is equally as good. Hand cut fries. Tomato cucumber feta salad......need I say more. A Hidden little Gem! Fair pricing! The cola is the best! Service was on point. Clean and comfortable. Cannot wait to go again!

I was thrilled when this place opened, even paid up for their "membership" thing ($75). And it was good for a while. I don't know what happened but three times in a row I've been there now and basically walked out. First, they no longer have anywhere where you can see a list of beers, other than reading a QR code, which does not seem to work on my phone (a new Samsung). This last time, two different employees tried to get it to work and couldn't. So basically you're just shit-outa-luck, they just shrug and that's that. So all those beers and I have no idea what they are. When I suggested that it wouldn't be that difficult to print out a list, they got pissy, obnoxious. "Actually it *is* difficult, they have to be updated and it's easier to do it this way." Hm. OK. So the bartender generously offers her phone to me this last time (which was an improvement, of sorts). And I scan it and pick a beer. And she then ignores me for an inordinately long time, waiting on people who came in after me. Finally she returns, and I tell her my choice, and she says ok and walks off. And 15 minutes later I still don't have a beer. While people who came in *after I ordered* are already drinking theirs. I try to catch her eye and she clearly sees me, but just continues to ignore me. Another thing - when you do their membership thing, you get a huge beer for a regular price, like 24 oz. But I don't like having a glass of beer that big, it gets warm and flat by the end. So in the early days, I would politely ask for a regular glass, and "if you could just add a little to it at halfway or so that would be great." Sure, no problem. When I asked the last two times, it was a flat "No." Not even any explanation, just "No." So, yeah, the burgers are good (the fries suck), the physical place is nice, but the service sucks and the whole QR code thing is ridiculous. There's other places in the general area to get a burger and a beer - Cask-n-Rasher has a list on the wall, and Freehold Pub, while a bit eccentric, has friendly service and good fries. So, I'm throwing away my Tasting Lab "membership card," you can keep this place.

This place is great foe a small town but they need to change the ala cart part. And charge a burger with fries as a meal. It can become costly as a family eating here. It's cool that they have different wines it would be great if they had a karaoke night. Also they should have daily specials like taco Tuesday or something to change up the menu.

My brother, sister and I attended the Tasting Lab for the first time. Food was excellent! We had the freshest pretzel as an appetizer. So good! Just the right amount of butter & salt on it. The main meal was great. I had a burger w/ venison. The bread was milk bun & felt like it was baked this morning! They have a large assortment of beverages. The entertainment was great tonight too! Our waitress was great and made us feel welcome.

The burger was fine, but this review is addressing the blonde female bartender there today. I walked up to the bar to modify my order and she completely ignored me twice. I made eye contact with her and she moved to the other side of the bar and then she looked at me again without addressing me and made her way to the kitchen. The line cook then noticed me and immediately came towards me to ask what I needed since he's actually competent, unlike the blonde. That bartender needs to learn common sense, manners, and how to do her job. No one stands at the bar for their health. Do your job.

Got the pretzels and burger (wagyu beef), both very good and the burger was cooked perfectly..the fries were ok..and beer selection was decent. They had ran out of a few of the beers I had my eye on, but the server was very nice and gave us some extra samplers of other beers to try instead. Very nice indoor decor as well.

Cute spot. Food is pretty good and the drinks are phenomenal! Staff and owners are great.

We each had a different kind of burger and they were terrific. I've paid more at a "bistro" for a burger that wasn't as good as these. The menu isn't huge so what they offer is very well done. Thank you!! The drink menu is extensive, service was great and the space is inviting. Can't wait for the outside dining to open, but we'll be back regardless.

Great beer selections and good sandwiches/burgers. Great service. Really good spinach artichoke dip to start with, and a fried chicken sandwich and a plant based burger. Both good. Good, clean, new interior.
