For such a small taste they definitely have a lot of taste coming out of here. The macaroni salad is full of fresh flavors, the burger is juicy and perfectly cooked. To pear it all together a decent selection of draft.

Cold beer, cheapest in town and the bar owner is fantastic. Great place to chill and have a beer or game of pool. Great selection of beer on tap, amazing atmosphere.

Been coming to this place for pool for at least a year, now they have food and it’s AMAZING, I’ve had the burger and today tried the pulled pork sandwich, not only do they have the cheapest beers in town, and their food is phenomenal

The Tavern is a bar in Atascadero that is a popular hangout for pool playing and watching you favorite sports events. The brews on tap are great they offer great food. It is not your typical Smoky dive bar. It is clean and well run. We enjoyed hanging out here!

Friendly, local spot, good place for getting some billiards action. Bartender is great with just the right amount of sass. Food was on point. Music was the right choice for the crowd.

I don't know that it was the best burger I've ever had, just can't think where I've had one better, damn good. Nice selection of craft beers. 3 pool tables, and a crowd looking for a good game.

I haven't been inside the Tavern, but the garish lights newly installed on the outside are NOT Atascadero. The too bright and not professional installed and end up being an eyesore. My opinion.

Great food / cold beer

Stopped in after work after hearing about it, and am happy I did. Their beer selection includes several locally brewed beers and ciders. Each of the beverages I ordered was at the tight temp and tasted fresh. They have bottled beverages as well. Although the menu is only one page, there are options for everyone in your party. I had the double burger that included grilled onions and my choice of cheese. Along with the burger was a delicious homemade macaroni salad. The owner shared that all their side salads are madd in house. I also ordered the chicken wings. The wings were cooked then tossed in an aromatic combination of herbs, and came with traditional Buffalo sauce and Ranch. Along with the food there are plenty of tvs for the games, a digital jukebox, and 3 pool tables. I will definitely be back to try their other offerings.

Food is great, employees are wonderful, and ambiance is great. Love it for sports, and draft beer!

OK burgers and dogs! ground beef taco are tasty. Service is good. And they e got pool tables and a fun arched bar.

We were walking by to go next door but saw this place and decided to come in. It's just been open for a little over a month. Glad we did. It's a quaint little bar with a pool table. He has beers on tap, along with cans of ciders, and glasses of wine. The beers are not ice cold unfortunately but if you drink the beers fast it won't be a problem.

Cool new spot in town to have a beer and watch the game! Super open and nice inside with a horseshoe shaped bar. He is a one man show right now, but he is delivering some friendly service and a nice selection of beer, cider and wine. If you like craft beer he has that on tap. If you are like me, and prefer to stay on the domestic side of things he has Coors Light and Bud Light as well. He has a digital juke box, pool table and a Star Wars pinball machine. He has two TVs to watch games on. I do wish the taps were a bit colder and that he was open Sundays to be able to catch a football game on. I also recognize this is someone local who is trying to add to the entertainment sector of Atascadero so I'm 100% on board to support while he gets the kinks out.

If you're into billiards this is the place to be. If you're looking for a fun bar, make a different choice.

Best beer in town. Ice cold, and best people. I've never been in a better bar. The whole block are regulars. John knows what's good. Go here or be a loser.

Super friendly crowd and bartender. I tripped over a pool cue and fell on my face(super hard) and everyone was helpful!! And I didn't even know them.

Colony Tavern has an excellent selection of beers. They serve beer and wine. The service is exceptional. There are cool events like concerts and comedy nights. There is a modern jukebox. There are always good snacks, but it's okay to order food to be brought in too. This is what Atascadero needed. There is a pool table and plenty of entertainment.

Fun new spot opened up a couple of months ago. The owner John is really down to earth and always a great host. Good beer variety and a nice low-key location. Little gem waiting to be discovered! They have live music every now and then, and are looking to add more fun social events. No food though, but you can order takeout and eat there.

Saved my life! Found this place off yelp coming right out of the urgent care. A beer was just what I needed and the friendly crowd made my day.

This place is the most homey, welcoming and friendly place! Owner is super sweet and the patrons are amazing as well! Go out of their way to make you feel special and like you're the only patron there! Definitely worth more than 5 stars
