During our week-long trip to the stunning Isle of Skye, we had the pleasure of dining at The Three Chimneys to celebrate my partner’s 40th birthday, and it truly exceeded all expectations.
The food was nothing short of exceptional. Although we don’t typically indulge in full-course meals, we found ourselves unable to resist the temptation to keep ordering. The highlight was undoubtedly the haggis, neeps, and tatties, which was prepared to perfection and presented beautifully. The cranachan was a delightful finish, balancing sweetness and texture wonderfully. My partner raved about the lamb, declaring it the best he had ever tasted, while the sticky toffee pudding was equally memorable—rich, moist, and utterly indulgent.
The atmosphere added to the experience, with the restaurant situated next to the water and the charming sight of sheep wandering nearby. It created a relaxed and picturesque setting that complemented the meal perfectly.
Moreover, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit.
I wholeheartedly recommend The Three Chimneys at Talisker to anyone visiting the Isle of Skye. It’s an experience that will linger in our memories long after the trip is over.
