One of the best parts of my trip to Detroit was randomly looking for a bar in Greektown to watch the FIFA Club World Cup final and finding this gem. Food, service, and bar was great. Best of the few spots I visited while in Detroit. As of July, 2025 there’s major construction on Monroe St as part of a major transformation project of Greektown but all the bars and business are open.

We liked the atmosphere of this place. We stopped in for lunch on a non game day, so Greektown was very quiet. The bartender was friendly and provided good service. We started out with traditional saginacki, which was tasty. My wife had the gyro, which didn't have much flavor to it. The meat seemed undercooked, and the sauce was bland. The fries were okay. I'm not impressed with the food. Might be a good stop for another occasion.

I love that we were able to eat outside today - great people watching and views of the policemen on horseback. Service was great - very prompt. The food was good and affordable. Not necessarily great, but definitely good enough to return. The burger patty itself could have been seasoned a bit more, but the bun was nice and soft, there was plenty of creamy feta, and the veggies were fresh. Cooked perfectly medium well as I asked; no complaints. My friend had the French dip, and it looked decent, served with a nice side of au jus - I'd guess probably not homemade, but tasty. Fresh bread, melty cheese. The salads were fresh with decent veggies, good olives and nice feta. Excellent dressing. We weren't drinking today, but they have a very nice beer list. Sports on TV, good vibes, overall a very decent place to grab a quick lunch. In and out in an hour, and they had a lot of good sounding things on the menu - sandwiches, salads, apps, burgers, entrees, soup. Will definitely return to try more. Venture into Greektown and give them a try.

Went on a beautiful sunny day with my wife and kid. The kid enjoyed a calamari appetizer while I indulged in the ribs and fries. Our orders came up pretty quick and our waitress was very attentive. They didnt have cocktail sauce (as it was my sons request) but the waitress was kind enough to make some from scratch for him. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would return.

With my experience here after the tigers game, I won’t be going back. The food was great the thing that will keep me from going back, was the fact the gratuity was forced onto my bill for 2 people I thought that was only for parties of 6 or more, but on top of that we were up charged on bloody Mary’s, we ordered 3 and were told they were $10 each but ended up pay $42- $12 more than what we were told, on top of the the waitress even though she provided good services, made a mistake and brought us out 2 apps we didn’t order because of miscommunication, and those were each $10 now both of those were on the bill, I just feel like that extra $12 on the BM and the forced $14 gratuity equaled out to $26 that’s enough to cover the 2 extra orders of apps and still give herself a $6 tip. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it in the restaurant, because I’m not going to be belittled about arguing about my bill, and a forced tip.

This was an extremely unique restaurant. The food was delicious! Good service and not much of a wait, even though the restaurant was busy.

Google
Come here quite often and the last time was for my early 2000s bar crawl and the bartender was amazing . She even played early 2000s music. While I do have to take it down to. A 4 due to overpriced drinks and gratuities. However the lady bartender was in well deservance of her tip. Will always return .

Had a nice time here with my sister and friends for her birthday. The bartender was very sweet and accommodating. Drinks are a little high priced but overall it’s a nice bar.

Yelp
this is a cute place. I would say it's more of a restaurant than a bar. The service was good. I had a margarita which I really enjoyed and the taco and chips and queso were good as well.

Yelp
We stopped for some drinks in this empty bar. We sat at the bar and the bartender was kinda rude when we asked for a drink menu. She said "I thought all alcohol was just the same" so we shouldn't have needed a menu I guess? I think she didn't want to make a drink. I got the Dubai chocolate martini which was okay. There was a could hard pieces from the Dubai chocolate...maybe pistachio shells? It was small pieces. My boyfriend had the espresso martini which was also just okay. Service just wasn't good but when you get the bill gratuity is already included so no wonder why. Wish restaurants would stop letting their servers be horrible guaranteeing them a great tip no matter the service.

Yelp
To begin with nice looking establishment, staff greeted us soon as we walked thru the door. Food was fresh, hot, and tasteful. Drink was nice I went with the Irish Manhattan and food spicy chicken sandwich and fries. Restaurant is on my list for another visit .

Yelp
Excellent selection of favorites. Service was amazing- great explanations, fast, and cheery. Would return to- it's tucked on a side street- lots of construction right now- but def don't walk by.

Yelp
I'm leaving this review because I felt personally triggered from a so-called owner of this restaurant ... we were sitting on a patio table looking out at beautiful Greek town having a good time.... When this so called owner that's was smoking a cigarette told my one friend that had a bonnet on his head that if he was not eating or drinking he has to stand out side of the inclosed restaurant space?!?!! ..... this personally Offended me as I was not eating or drinking either and we were all in the same area together and group I felt like he was more picking on my friend that did not want nothing but to have a good time .. so let's get down to it the server was absolutely terrible (owner) server was alright .... The food after paying 105$ for spinach dip / one salmon dinner / 3 bbq chicken wings, some how everything one of the dishes were the most bland things that could have came out of a kitchen both hot meals super cold .... I honestly and genuinely will never go back to this place after seeing them profile a person and I can guarantee you that is what it is, and I will stand by that..

Yelp
My friend and I stumbled onto this place by accident. After the Tigers game we were walking to our car in Greektown saw the Three Legged Goat. It was hopping on a Monday night and looked liked like fun. Since it's a sports bar they had TV's showing all the games and great music playing. Most of the other restaurants were already closed but they keep the kitchen open until midnight here. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. She recommended the calamari which was excellent. Lightly breaded with peppers, onions, and tomatoes on top. I liked the creamy Sriracha sauce that came on the side. Being we were in Greektown I went with the lamb Gyro and my friend had a BLT. Both were great. The BLT is huge and served on Texas toast. The bacon is wrapped in asiago cheese which was a nice touch. Both sandwiches come with fries. Portions were large and the prices reasonable especially for downtown. It's worth noting that there is an automatic 20% gratuity added to every bill. Our bartender told us that when she brought us the check. I appreciated the honesty. The Three Legged Goat is a nice addition to Greektown and a fun place to eat and drink before or after a game.

Yelp
I wanted some good food and I wanted it now. It's funny how you plan to go somewhere for a nice outing or a trip and then somethings don't happen the way you planned and you still get to have a great time and enjoy the city and all it has to offer. I have an enormous amount of respect for anyone in customers service and I also know that we can do better in taking care of them because it just says a lot about us when we don't, we rolled up into Michigan to watch Lions vs Raiders ‍ and the workers were on strike and I tell you the City still welcomed us in with arms wide open. We had lunch at the Three Legged Goat because we were staying at the Hollywood and it was right down the street and it was October and bitter cold wind was already blowing so we trotted into the warm restaurant/bar and had some absolutely fresh and delicious food. Thank you to our staff we felt taken care of and we enjoyed our visit. So happy for your City and all the good things coming your way way. Stay warm. ~@fashionatstake~

Yelp
This place was pretty cool - it was one of the few places that were open on Memorial Day. It was pretty crowded when we went, but the staff were still friendly and got us our seats pretty quickly. Our food also come out pretty fast. We got the House Gyro and it was alright - the gyro meat texture and cut sort of reminded me of breakfast sausages. I wish it came with some greens - even some lettuce would be nice. I think this is the first gyro I've had that didn't have a hint of greens. Fries were really good though. I saw some people get other dishes which looked and smelled really good. So if I were to go back, I wouldn't get the gyro again. But it was still filling! Cool vibe and you have the choice to eat indoor or outdoor.

Yelp
Okay so this spot has its ups and downs. First of all know that this is a downtown spot so the parking obviously is horrible. There are also police up and down the area harassing anyone that even stops for a moment to drop someone off at the door. So that's the set backs. Also if you look at the picture the saganaki portion was pretty small compared to other restaurants. I was actually on my way to the Greek for saganaki and decided I hadn't tried this spot and it was right there so why not. Ok now for the rest of the food, everything was delicious! The waitress we had was knowledgeable and friendly. I didn't car for their mixed drink, it was downright awful in taste. But again the food was great. I like that they have an outside patio to sit at. So all in all I wouldn't go out of my way to return but I wouldn't pass it up if my friends wanted to try it out.

Yelp
Yesterday I had a great experience. Sadly idk the young lady name who served us. She was polite, seemed happy and she made us feel appreciated. The kitchen over cooked the med steak bites appetizer && i was too hungry to send them back. They were well done, no pink at all. I told the server and she understood. Even apologized... It wasn't her fault. I just enjoy that she seemed to care. See photos of the food. Everything tasted great. The Moscow mule definitely could've been stronger... It was like there wasn't ginger beer in it at all actually (no fizz or carbonation) lol. The waitress kept checking on us so it was definitely better than lasttime i came here.

Yelp
Fun sports bar with a Greek twist. Went on a Saturday evening around 7p and they had football playing on all the TVs which lent to a fun atmosphere. Unfortunately the music was turned up pretty loud so everyone was yelling and it did take away from the whole experience. The servers were very friendly and helpful but you could tell they were a little short-staffed and it took over 20 minutes to receive our food (fine if you're there to watch a football game, less ideal when you're trying to have a quick dinner). The food was pretty good. I ordered the chicken kabob which was very flavorful, albeit, a little dry. The real star was the charred green beans, I could have eaten a whole plate of those alone.

Evan T.

Yelp
Ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and it was disappointing. Instead of creamy Alfredo sauce, the pasta was covered in cheese. It tasted okay, just not what I want when ordering Alfredo. The entrees took about 45 minutes to arrive. There was loud music which made it hard to hear. Overall a less than average experience.

Yelp
Been in town 3 days and finally, a decent meal. My bourbon bacon cheddar burger was a 1/2lb of drippy goodness. Awesome burger with amazing service from the ladies behind the bar. Guinness to boot!! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
The food was alright- got a gyro wrap and the only filling inside besides the gyro meat was white onion and tomatoes- no lettuce and very little sauce. It had very little character. The fries were ok but mostly limp. The prices were okay but when I asked if I could have a side salad instead of fries they said there would be an up charge so I declined. To me it shouldn't be a problem to make a switch like that because some salad mix and chopped veggies would be less expensive than fries, but I digress. The women's bathroom was not very well stocked and was not clean, also the paper towel dispenser was not working. They also had the music up so loud that my friend and I could barely hear each other and when we asked them to turn the music down they looked at us like we were crazy.

Yelp
I ordered a salmon burger which was solid. Sizable salmon fillet with basic seasoning. The table was dirty. The ketchup bottle was filthy and the service wasn't great. They also added a 21% gratuity to my bill. I dined solo and they didn't notify my that was a policy. Ultimately, the food was fine but I will not be returning.

Yelp
Stopped in before a Tigers game. Nice place to go in for a beer and a bite. We sat outside it was such a great day. Our server was fantastic I wish I could remember her name. Ordered an Atwater Dirty Blonde very cold very refreshing so much so I had a second. I ordered the Asiago BLT. It was really good. He bacon was wrapped in the Asiago with very nice tomatoes and crisp lettuce. Bread perfectly toasted. The sandwich came with house cut fries. The fries were really good. Nice surprise on the walk to Comerica.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was wonderful. The girls behind the bar were awesome and fun. Our food lacked flavor and our steak bites were hard to eat. Won't return.

Yelp
During a recent trip to Detroit, I ended up in Greek Town around (early) dinner time with friends. There were several restaurants to choose from and my group selected this. It was more bar food than Greek food, but what I got had excellent flavor. It is definitely not the place to pick though if you want a Greek experience. I ordered Saganaki Opa - cheese that is set in fire and served with pita. It is fun. It is sort-of Greek - to share with the table of 3. Needed more pita and would not share with more than 3 people total. Because we got there at an odd time, I wasn't starving so I got another appetizer - the steak bites - as my main dish. It was so much steak, I couldn't even eat it all. Strong pepper flavor, but I liked that. Served with more pita. I would order this again. It is also good to share.
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
I didn't get much while I was here, but it was all delicious! The saganaki was good as it is every where. The crispy ribs though!! They are tender and crispy, and had the most delicious bbq sauce. It was called Sriracha sauce, but it tasted more like a sweet bbq chili. I would definitely get the ribs again. We were able to eat on the cusp of outside, which was nice. We got the breeze of the fresh air/patio, but the coolness of the a/c inside.

Laura E.

Yelp
Great food, great service in a cute area of Detroit We had gyros (with real lamb meat!), salads and sandwiches - highly recommend!

Yelp
THE BEST SALMON BURGER. seriously. I have had salmon burgers all over the country and hands down this one is #1!
google avatar

Scott T.

Yelp
The service - even though absolutely packed - was fantastic. And they had a great, well-rounded menu. We love hanging out here during Lions weekends!

Phillip H.

Yelp
Really nice bar tender , food was great. I'll be coming back without a doubt The steak bites were amazing

Yelp
Such an amazing place. We was in Detroit for 4 days and 3 nights, we visited here all 3 nights. Owner is great as well as the staff. Shout out to Pippi :) Btw, the calamari is top notch

Alyxx B.

Yelp
Ok. I was wandering looking for food, in town for a conference. The casinos are on strike, so o asked a picketer where was good that wasn't breaking the line. She pointed across the street, so I walked in here. Baseball on 4 TVs, and OMG. Fried ribs and a strong drink! My belly and mouth are happy!!!!
google avatar

Ron J.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and service, came down to watch the Lions playoff game and we would spend time there in between. Had a great experience every visit and would highly recommend the place. I especially liked the pretzel sticks!
google avatar

Aubrianna H.

Yelp
Let's just say we could yell the goat was missing a leg. Great looking restaurant and bar - we got a good look because we waited forever for our food and even just to order. Once we got the food we were so disappointed. Looked like we were sharing an order of fries the portions were so small. The burgers and chicken were so small and dry it was barely eatable. Onion rings were good - hard to order something in order to just fill up a little. Tip was included on the bill and we wish it wasn't because we saw the waitress maybe twice the whole time. Disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
Always my go-to when in the motor city.... Always feel comfortable here, staff crazy nice and food yum!!!!

Yelp
Rebranded restaurant in Greektown. This review is strictly for the ice cold beer and overall experience. We stopped in after a Lions event! Love the layout and vibe of this spot. We grabbed a few beers before heading to our next stop. Friendly staff and great music. If you're playing Michael Jackson, I'm a fan!!! Lol. Love the outside patio and the food looks yummy. I'll have to try it out next time.
google avatar

Darryl B.

Yelp
Great calamari, not chewy or over cooked. Loved the upbeat atmosphere with lots of friendly staff. I sat a the bar and had an awesome bartender. Didn't get her name but I will next time I'm in town.

Marta K.

Yelp
the food was fresh and delicious, I loved the spot and the outside sitting. a place to come back to
google avatar

Julian J.

Yelp
My bartender stoli, overcharged me for $100 worth of drinks and blamed it on the owner. Phuck her and the owner. I know how to count drinks. She also told me a story of how a black man came in, felt he was being racially profiled, left and the police said he was right. That story alone shows the how this restaurant/bar feels about black people.
google avatar

Abigail O.

Yelp
What a cute place to have lunch or a drink! Me and three of my co-workers went there at lunch before heading back to work. Three of us got the steak sub and one got the gyro. We were all pretty happy with it. The only thing that was off was the Mountain Dew, my coworker said the ratio for it was off. The server was really nice & the food service was good. It didn't take long before we got our food. The restaurant was clean and had a warm, cozy feeling to it. If I lived in the area, I may have made this my local watering hole.
google avatar

Kristen B.

Yelp
Get the Saganaki. Only enough for two though so order appropriately. Service was good.
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
Fantastic meal and service Alexis.. Will be coming back.. Great Philly cheese steak and burgers...

Michelle M.

Yelp
service was amazing!!! the food was delivered quickly and was delicious! loved the outdoor seating and the owner is a wonderful man and a we enjoyed talking with him!

Yelp
Not sure why this place has 4 stars. It's ok. Food is about 3 stars, but time to get the food is about 1.5 stars. Sat for an hour to get my order for one person. I understand that the kitchen can be short staffed at times, but let the patrons know that while ordering so they can decide to wait or not.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
decent food for a late night snack. we called and ordered to go 10 mins before kitchen closing so happy that they were able to take our order. we got the crispy chicken salad and quesadilla. tbh felt like I could've made everything at home pretty easily myself (except the crispy chicken) the crispy chicken was good and complimented the rest of the salad. the quesadilla was super mid, although i thought it could've used more cheese. i feel like the quesadilla at taco bell is better even.

Chace W.

Yelp
Been coming to the Goat since it was Pappys and the bar was on the other side of the place for all Lions home games. Great owner who is friendly as could be and works hard alongside his employees on game days. Speaking of the employees, you won't find better bartenders in Detroit. Knowledgeable enough to make some crazy trendy drinks yet approachable enough that you can simply order a Strohs and a round of Jamison shots. Great atmosphere for a game day. Don't sleep on the food either. I think this place might have the best food in all of Greektown. Not kidding. Cheers to the Goat and go Lions.

Mark N.

Yelp
Foods good, service was good as well. Decent spot in Monroe street. A warning if it matters to you. They add gratuity to your bill.

W P.

Yelp
Excellent food, service was second to none! The bar had a great ambiance. Plan on going again soon.

Kim K.

Yelp
The ladies bathrooms are gross! toilets are awful the door to the bathroom doesn't close and they don't know how to make a Greek Salad. Don't waste you money here.
google avatar

Dennis L.

Yelp
Found this place on yelp and it sounded good. Had the gyro and fries and they were very good. Sat on the little patio and watched people and the drink carts go buy. Waitress was overworked and had too many tables but did a good job. Would definitely go back.

Robert L.

Yelp
Food left a lot to be desired. Low budget bar food. Waitresses were the best part of the meal. Extremely polite.
google avatar

Melanie M.

Yelp
Great location. Food ok. Empty when we arrived. Wait staff was attentive but off - very weird vibe. Beware tip is included.... In every tab.... Even a two top. Waitstaff seemed upset that we figured it out and were not interested in us AT ALL after we did not add additional tip to the 20% already included in the bill. Weird.
google avatar

Vickey A.

Yelp
Such great food! We loved the chicken BBQ pizza! The atmosphere was so friendly, inviting and fun! We were there on a college football Saturday and had a wonderful time! Elena is the Best, most patient waitress ever! Loved being here!

Zoie N.

Yelp
Typical dry bar food. The service was exactly what you would expect for a country themed bar. The atmosphere is very much like a club. Would be better if I was drunk.
