Hotel Tide Phuket

The hotel looked good online. In reality, the pool was very pleasant, the bar was nice, and the service was generally good. However, it would be great if the reception staff spoke better English to make communication easier. We only stayed one night and unfortunately got food poisoning from the breakfast. Horrible experience. The bed was very comfortable. The room itself was okay, standard, but a bit worn, dark, and not suitable for a longer stay. The air conditioning was so loud that it couldn’t be used at night, which made us wake up sweaty. Sadly we wouldnt stay for a second time

My partner, brother and I stayed here for 6 nights in the new year. We were expecting a lovely hotel in nice surroundings but we were disappointed at where this hotel was located. Definitely next to a beach with a view, although you can't swim in the sea there as not safe but absolutely nothing to do in the evenings. Very isolated but if that is what you like, then it is ideal. Not for us unfortunately...||When we arrived, they asked for 2,000 THB deposit per room which I was shocked at, and they took it straight out of my account, instead of holding it and when I challenged them about it, they said that it would be back in my account but I am still waiting.||Rooms very nice, although you had no where to hang stuff, 5 hangers between the 2 of us!! or place your belongings in drawers as there weren't any. The shower cubicles were very tight to get into. We had a lovely bath tub in the room but the laminate flooring had very jagged edges, not great when you have bare feet. You need your Prime, Neflix or U tube passwords to access the TV's.||Swimming pools were nice, although there weren't all cleaned so that was a disappointment. No shade with brollies to speak of either so if you want to stay in the sun, you will love it and burn.||Cafe does 2 for 1 coffee from 7.00 to 9.00. Lots of attentive staff although some still needed training in customer services||So if you are looking for a hotel that is near entertainment, don't book here as you will be disappointed. But if you looking for a chilled hotel and want to do nothing then this would be for you. Definitely not a 5 star hotel, I would rate it around a 3 star.

One of my favorite places to truly relax and unwind. The atmosphere is peaceful and harmonious, perfect for recharging. The rooms are beautifully designed, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and it’s wonderfully quiet ideal for a good night’s rest. We were lucky to have beautiful weather during our stay, and there’s a fantastic restaurant just next door with amazing food. The hotel has a well-equipped gym, plenty of sun loungers for everyone, and the pool is warm and inviting even in the winter months. Everything is spotlessly clean, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the staff are genuinely kind and helpful. I’d happily come back again it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease.

We stayed in a pool access room, but unfortunately the stay did not meet our expectations. The room itself was clean and spacious, and the pools and view were nice, but that was about it. The soundproofing was very poor. We could hear road noise, dogs barking at each other throughout the night, and noise from other guests. Some guests were even playing loud music late at night on their veranda. I had to call the staff, and they did tell those guests to quiet down after I reported it. There was also a strong smell of cannabis coming into our room. The staff said they could talk to the guests who were smoking, but since we couldn’t identify which room it came from, nothing really happened. I asked if it was possible to change rooms, but I was told the hotel was fully booked, even though I saw rooms available on Booking.com. I didn’t bring it up again because the staff already felt unhelpful. The breakfast was disappointing as well. There were very few European options, and they didn’t even have butter. The location was not ideal for us, and overall the stay did not feel worth the money.

I didn’t think the hotel had much atmosphere and it seemed a bit sparse around the pool area with no parasols either. The Buffett breakfast was very basic and I didn’t like how the other guests were fingering the food and not using tongs. Room was clean but basic and dated with no areas to relax. It had a great view. I left early to find somewhere more inviting as holidays are precious! It was a reasonable price so I still think it’s worth it if you just want a basic hotel.

One of the best hospitals I’ve ever stayed at. On a serious note, the location was quite stunning in terms of beachfront. The room and amenities were satisfactory. Staff all seemed friendly. The issue was lack of wrangling in their guests. I had to ask two young guys to stop smoking and playing YouTube videos outside of my room twice between 2-4am. Some of the behaviour at the breakfast buffet was offputting, in that some grown adults were haphazardly fondling the solid foods in their display. My dad and sister and I contracted food poisoning, which although I cannot speak for their timelines, I was very cautious not to use tap water and only ate the hotel with was my first stop in Thailand. 5 star definitely misleading. Would avoid the food until some process is put in place to ensure hygiene, or at least ensure any food is kitchen to table.

I would not recommend eating the buffet breakfast, as it led to horrible food poisoning. Still recovering from this even after IVs. While the staff were very friendly, the massages were excellent, and the hotel overall had a nice view, the pool music was loud and made it impossible to sleep most days, which given the severe food poisoning was not ideal. I would not recommend booking this hotel, as from reviews it appears food poisoning has been a repeat issue over the last several months and they have not taken sufficient action to rectify, despite their responses to prior reviews. But if you do stay here because you already have a booking, please get a massage! The massage team were so so talented!

Food poisoning alert!! Don’t eat at the restaurant. An otherwise pleasant stay was overshadowed by my mother getting food poisoning after eating dinner at the hotel. The pool is great and the rooms are nice. Pillows could be better. Quite loud music until 22:30. our room was right next to the pool bar. Most of the people who work there don’t speak English very well and when I told them about the food poisoning, there was no acknowledgement or apology.
