The drinks here a so good! The staff is incredibly nice and the chill easygoing atmosphere is a fantastic! Whenever we come to Asheville we always make sure to stop by.

What a fun place to find in downtown Asheville! It’s a magical hidden gem tucked away inside Hi-Wire Brewing. We loved it so much we went twice during our four night trip! Good strong tiki drinks made by super nice staff. I hope you get to experience an indoor “thunderstorm” when you go!! IYKYK!

This place is a great little spot to stop, grab a drink, hang out with your friends, bring your dog, and ultimately have a chill time. The lights are open when I was there all the patrons were wearing Halloween costume costumes. Couldn’t have asked for a better vibe. Be sure and stop in the next time. You’re in Asheville, North Carolina, and have a drink at the spot. 🍹

I have a pretty carefully curated handful of favorite places in AVL. This is now highly in the ranks of them after my first visit. To say this is a hidden gem is kind of an understatement. It's a hidden treasure chest full of island vibes & tasty tiki drinks that go down smooth & then slap you hard. Make sure to see my favorite bartender, Shanda, who couldn't give bad service or make a bad mixed drink if they tried.

Blown away by the attention to detail in both the atmosphere and drinks. They have some really amazing rare finds here and truly understand the chemistry behind making good cocktails and the flavor pairing. Nothing was too sweet and everything was well balanced. Joel was incredibly knowledgeable and his enthusiasm for the craft was electric. I will absolutely go back!

I did a Google search for Asheville tiki bars before I arrived in town. This place was at the top of the list. I'm from L.A. and a regular at the Tiki-Ti, so I brought an open mind to enjoy this unique experience. I arrived late on a Monday, so the place was empty. It gave me the opportunity to talk with the bartenders, two women that were on point. I wanted a signature drink, and something that I've had before. An Asheville Vacation, and a Singapore Sling. Both cocktails were wonderful. Depth of flavor and very refreshing. I've never had a bad conversation in a tiki bar since the vibe is so inclusive and relaxed, so I hope to return when there are more patrons. I was asked if I have ever been to a bar with the indoor storm, and I had to reply Trader Sam's at Disneyland which isn't bad company. I recommend this place. Atmosphere 4 out of 5 stars only because the place was empty. I regret not taking photos.

Fun atmosphere. Tucked away behind hi wire brewing. The mugs they serve your drinks in are fun and available for purchase. Menu sorts cocktails out by strength of alcohol. Group cocktails are available. “Storms” come through which has a cool effect. Prices are a little high, but you’re paying for the atmosphere.

Always one of my favorite spots to beat the winter blues, but also just an incredible place for all seasons! While the drinks are a little on the pricey side ($15-20 per drink), they make up for it with the great service and warm atmosphere, including the indoor storms!

If you don't know - now you know. Such a sweet hidden Gem, love the vibe and the drinks are delicious. You love tiki drinks and island vibes it's the spot. Ian the bartender rolls out the Island hospitality. Fun times had by all! Highly recommend.

I love this place. Love it. We stumbled on to this place after vaguely hearing about a cool tiki bar in the area from someone who couldn't remember where it was to point us there. But holy wow, what a delight! We liked it so much, we came 3 times in the long weekend we were in town! The bar is located in the back of Hi-Wire and it a huge space! Like...more customer space than the Hi-Wire area in front. It is dark and atmospheric, kitsch-ily decorated (very appropriately for the theme of the bar), and every so often there is a mock storm that blows through with flickering lights, thunder sounds, and blowing wind (I would say about 2x per hour...) It is an overall experience, truly. And not only that...the drinks are DELICIOUS. You order at the bar and, if it isn't busy, you may wait there for your drink. But if you are ordering several or it is a bit busier, they will give you a table number to bring back to where you are sitting and your drinks will be delivered to you. These are absolutely crafted cocktails, no batching and each made individually. The menu is surprisingly large for a specialty cocktail bar, but of the many varied different drinks I ordered or got to try (because sharing is caring) all were fantastic! The menu includes a boozy-ness/ABV strength rating for each drink, with some having an order per person limit or indications that it must be shared. Fishbowls and multi-person drinks can be made for different numbers of people drinking from the offering (reflected in the bowl size and the cost). And some handcrafted, gorgeous tiki cups and mugs are on site for certain fancy drinks. If you get one of those, you may be required to leave your ID with the bartender as a sort of deposit to keep you from stealing the glass. Though they have some for sale! I loved this place. So much. We returned several times over several days and I can only hope they are still open on our next visit to Asheville because we will do the same. Highly recommend and can't wait til next time!

I do not enjoy craft beer. I like crap beer. Asheville is a town of many microbreweries. This was a cool bar that does traditional tiki drinks and does them well. I came in here with my mom and we enjoyed it very much! I will never forget it!

We tried the piña colada, bushwhacker, and espresso martini and would not recommend them unfortunately. The old fashions are pretty good and the room and ambiance is great the drinks were just disappointing.

If you are looking for a fun tiki bar with awesome drinks and a cool vibe- head here! It is hidden in the back of Hi-Wire Brewery so it is easy to miss. Really fun place to visit.

Wow! If there was ever a speakeasy in Asheville this would be it! Attending a Yelp elite event as I enter the building, which is Highwire brewery you would never ever know the speakeasy, which is quite large if I might say so myself is located way in the back. Taking several turns before you get to the door, which is hidden deep inside a little nook , you open the door into an expansive space that harks back to the 1930s 40s and 50s tiki bars in America. Throw in a periodic burst of wind and fake lightning and it's as if you're in the tropics. The drinks are amazing and I highly recommend you ask one of the bartenders for recommendation as they were spot on for what I was looking for drink wise. The one thing I would be aware of is while I realize my hometown is a tourist destination $18 cocktails is a bit high for my budget , so don't be surprised if there's a little sticker shock in the process, but well worth it. This is a hidden gem that is worth your time and money.

This spot is perfect! It's literally a hidden gem with the coolest atmosphere. The drinks are amazing and so is the service! Two of the three of us are not big drinkers so we asked the bartenders for suggestions. I got the Puka Punch, which was cool and very tasty. They limit this drink to two per person because they are strong. My friend got something served in a unicorn.

This tiki bar/speak easy (get it? Tiki Easy.so clever) is tucked away behind the original Hi-wire brewing. Follow the neon lights & walk through the doors to be transported to a cool & kitschy bar with a laid back vibe. The decor is on point with fun lights & wallpaper. Every once in a while (twice while we were there), all the lights turned blue, thunder sounded over the speakers & an ocean wind blew in while lightning cracked. Then, the storm blew over & everything was calm & colorful again. The storm was a unique detail. Our drinks were smooth & refreshing & the garnish on my Puka punch was top notch with an orchid & umbrella. It was like being transported. Bartender was helpful & friendly, booths were comfy. We will definitely return on our next trip to Asheville.

This place is SO FUN!! The drinks were wonderful and the vibe was amazing. You feel like you have stepped into a secret tiki bar that only the cool kids know about lol It's a little bit of a weird walk to the bar through high wire brewery but once you see the sign and the jungle bird sounds... you know you made it!

After going to Hi-Wire brewing in the South Slope on nearly every trip to the area, finding the Tiki Easy Bar in the back was awesome. The spot is amazing and the drinks equally as good. Compared to some other tiki bars we've visited, the prices are very reasonable as well! Don't miss this spot!

Drinks were really good, but expect to pay like $12-17 for a drink. The drinks were strong, but they give you a chart that shows you the strength of what you ordered. The ambiance is spectacular! The vibe is great. The bartenders were super knowledgeable and friendly.

The neon glow of the Tiki Easy Bar is irresistible Meander to the back of Hi-Wire Brewing, and that's where you'll find this beverage oasis. Their colorful cocktail menu features layered concoctions, such as the Banana Farmer, Singapore Sling, and Berried Alive. Fishbowl drinks are alive and well - perfect for sharing! If you want to take it easy, delicious mocktails are also available. The semicircle banquette seating is cozy, and tables for larger parties are also available. If you're lucky, you just might experience a simulated thunderstorm inside (downpour not included!)

Awesome!! A must when in Asheville. Enter in Hi-Wire Brewery and follow the bird sounds to a cute torch-lit hallway to the hidden Tiki Easy bar. The space is amazing. Lots of booths & tables to sip on your strong finely concocted drink. The whole vibe brings you to the South Pacific. The bartender was super helpful picking out some favorites out of the many colorful cocktails available. Every hour there is a monsoon that blows through the tiki bar. Be sure to check this place out!! I can really see some amazing events coming from this hidden gem!

We brought my sister-in-law in for her birthday today and she absolutely loved it! We've come in before and always have a great experience. However, this time, Ian made it extra special! Ian made amazing drinks, and was super personable and kind. I recommend this unique place with fun bartenders and a great atmosphere to everyone!

Okayyyy.... There is a totally legit tiki bar inside hi-wire brewing. Go in hi-wire follow the neon lights and little signs all the way to the back. The drink menu was fantastic the decor was on point. True to a tiki bar, once an hour it feels like a 'storm' is blowing through. Storm noise, lightning lights, wind, etc. After a day of brewery hopping this was such a welcome change!! I mean look at this Freddy Cruger tiki glass my drink came in. What could be more perfect??

When you first walk in it's a combination of spacious, dark and moody with tropical touches. You order your drink at the bar and will need to leave an ID if you get a tiki mug with your drink. The drinks are super pricey very full of ice but also strong and tasty. Which is fine it seems to be the theme at tiki bars but here's your warning so you don't get sticker shock when you check out. I treated the table of four to one round of drinks it was $80. The reason why this place is amazing and I'll definitely be back with friends is that the drinks are tasty it's spacious and at some point the lights will flicker and a storm setting goes off with gusts of wind rocking the decor on the ceiling, the sound of thunder rolls across the room and flashes of lighting. The experience is confusing at first but continuously novel and fun when it happens again. Definitely recommend this spot if you're a tiki lover.

We were in town for a wedding and were told that the Tiki Easy Bar was a reputable establishment. Upon arrival we were forced to wait in line for drinks in a line that can only be described as senior citizen cafeteria esque...AT BEST. Our party had MULTIPLE supporters of equal rights but did not receive equal treatment during our stay. The worst part of our experience was when one member of our party ordered "Marshmallow Man" cocktail and was given only two marshmallows in his drink, hardly a "Marshmallow Man" drink. Upon tipping $20 for said drink and having a mutual understanding that the remaining marshmallows were the property of the tipping party, the marshmallow jar which contained said remaining marshmallows was RUDELY ripped away from one our our party's members with limited explanation. The understanding of property law by this establishment was unacceptable based upon review of MULTIPLE attorneys within the attending party. I would not go out of my way to visit this bar if they continue their policy regarding marshmallow and or the classic 1984 movies Ghostbusters.

Ian's service is absolutely excellent and his upbeat attitude made our entire experience so fun! He helped us pick all the right drinks.

My wife and I went earlier this week and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The bar itself is decorated appropriately without going over the top. The drinks are in our opinion top-notch tiki creations, as good as some of the other well-known tiki bars we have been to. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were there on a quiet day so we could chat.

Amazing bar in Asheville. Our bartender Ian blew our expectations and made great drinks for us the entire time. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and it was great. The atmosphere was really awesome. They also have great cocktail selections on the menu to accommodate everyone. The other bartenders were great and top notch also. We will be back to see Ian and the rest of the staff.

This place just opened and I am in love. Now, I've never been to a tiki bar before so I can't compare with other such establishments, but I love the atmosphere! What place can you get a great drink and experience a storm at the same time. The drinks are great and the mood is so fun. Will be back.

Speakeasy tiki bar?! Absolutely! Ian is a great mixologist that can concoct or direct you to a perfect cocktail.

If you were to walk into Hi-Wire's south slope tap room you'd never really know about Tiki Easy except for a little sign out front. If you walk all the way to the back past the tanks you will find two doors with some neon. Walk in and you are transported to a darkly lit tiki-themed bar. You need to go to the bar to place your order. The menu has about 20 selections but the main feature is each is listed with 1-3 skull and crossbones icons. This is an important detail since it is shorthand for how much alcohol is in the drink. Three Skulls is the most potent drink and is limited to two of that cocktail. Trust me, this is accurate! The drinks are served in various tiki-style mugs or glasses making it even more festive. These are real drinks, not some overly sweet tiki drinks so you will taste some alcohol. There is no food served but you are welcome to bring your own or better yet be sure to eat first because you don't want to drink these without something in your stomach. The place is also dog-friendly so bring Fido. They have a fun "storm" that occasionally rolls through the room with fans and light to simulate the tropical storm. The floors are concrete which makes for a loud environment. Wood plank floors or better yet, sand on the floors would make this an epic bar but I am nitpicking. This is a great place for large groups since it is spacious.

Low key. Not pretentious. Very fun. Lots of cool people. Themed for Christmas now. Lots of specialty drinks (think Mai tais and rum runner type drinks). Fun vibe. Not for those with button up collars and fancy pants shoes. Great place to hang out.

So much fun! We visited for the EMO night event, and truly had the best time. The staff are incredibly hospitable and the vibe was welcoming and fun.

The drinks were strong and the ambiance was so fun! My husband and I had a great time and our bartenders were great. Definitely recommend!
