"West End staple Tin Angel hosts its final dinner service on Saturday, March 23. The restaurant has been a part of Nashville's dining scene for thirty-two years. It was opened with the intent of serving as an 'elevated meat-and-three'. The restaurant got its name from a departed restaurant in Greenwich Village, which appeared in a Joni Mitchell song." - Delia Jo Ramsey

The Tin Angel was absolutely delicious. One warning! If you want bread for your table... order it as soon as you sit at the table. I do believe they bake it to order as it took a bit after we ordered it to get to the table. Oh, it was TO DIE FOR! One loaf is good for 1 medium piece for 4-5 people. So, if you like bread or have more people than that, order accordingly. The restaurant has a dark, luxurious ambiance. The food is stunning and plated as such. Everyone in my family had a stunning plate. Desserts were amazing as well. There is nothing but YUM that I can say. I wished I lived closer so I could go back. Definitely a high recommend in my book!

Excellent, polished table service and very good food. We shared the goat cheese salad and our entrees were beef and fish dishes. Both were well prepared. We did not have dessert. We enjoyed our dinner.

Our first time with Tin Angel was the middle of February 2016 on a Wednesday evening. It was absolutely fabulous!! The wine was great, the food was great, and so was the service. We aren't from here, but if we are ever back, we will definitely return to the Tin Angel!! I do recommend reservations if you eat much past 7:00 pm, because even though it was a Wednesday, it was busy. Thank you Tin Angel!!

Very good food, friendly people.... YUM. Just amazing. Went again last night. Nailed it again. Bacon wrapped figs with goat cheese, heirloom tomatoes with arugala and balsamic, I had the Peruvian bouillabaisse(shrimp, scallops, cod, deliciousness), and the Mrs. had the baked salmon. Everything was great as usual.

I was visiting my daughter in Nashville and stayed just down the road from the Tin Angel. We went for brunch and had the best fried green tomatoes and cheese grits I've ever had in my life. I introduced them to my sister who was traveling with me. She had never had them in her life and is now sold on fried green tomatoes and cheese grits. I highly recommend this place. We also had the sweet potato biscuits. Not at all what we were expecting. Instead of the biscuits being made with the sweet potatoes, they made a sweet potato jam to spread between the biscuit pieces. Yummy. I love many places in Nashville, but will be back here my next visit.

We stayed a the Holiday Inn and found the Tin Angel was nearby with decent ratings so we gave it a shot. We had to sit by the door bc it was only table available, so there was a constant draft, but I wouldn’t have traded it. The fireplace and ambiance (and Tennessee Whiskey) kept us warm. Food and service were both great. Delicious comfort food ( amazing pork chop with Mac and cheese) or Scrumptious vegetarian (crazy good meatless meatballs with spaghetti squash.) We has a great meal!
