15 Excellent Margaritas to Try in San Diego | Eater

"The Tipsy Crow occupies one of San Diego’s most historic buildings, the Spencer-Ogden, dating back to 1874. Each of the three floors has its own vibe — the main bar has been slinging cocktails since before Prohibition; the lounge, aka “The Nest” was once a gentlemen’s club, but is now sports luxe with leather seating, polished hardwood and a pool table; and the underground features DJs and dancing. Grab a Celestial Margarita (Astral Blanco, lime, agave, orange liqueur, and a Tajín rim), and explore each before you settle in for nibbles like meatball sliders, loaded lobster dip, flatbreads, bread bowls filled with chowder and mac and cheese, and robust sandwiches." - Mary Beth Abate

The Tipsy Crow always stands out — this place is built different. Nick Barns, the manager, sets the tone from the door. He’s a solid leader, longtime friend, and has that MMA background (Bellator status!) that shows up in how he runs the spot — with precision, respect, and presence. Gina the bartender was on point from start to finish. Great energy, fast service, and she makes you feel like a VIP with every pour. Live music by BJ Jezebera sealed the whole vibe — raw talent, smooth flow, and the kind of sound that brings the place to life. This isn’t just a bar — it’s part of the San Diego fabric. Whether you’re a regular or just passing through, The Tipsy Crow hits all the marks. Also would like to mention Charles the security guard . Very professional and on point.

Two floor club with good vibes! DJ played a lot of fun 2010 hits that we absolutely loved. Place was quite hot and stuffy and it closed by 1:30am. 5$ cover charge. We were there on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too crowded- definitely will want to come again!

Google
The Tipsy Crow in San Diego’s Gaslamp has a fun vibe overall, but the experience was a bit mixed. The bartenders were fantastic — super friendly, fast, and made great drinks. Food and beverages were decent; nothing extraordinary, but definitely hit the spot for a night out. However, the security staff left a bad impression. They were rude when clearing out chairs from the bar area, making people who were already seated feel unwelcome. It definitely put a damper on the atmosphere. All in all, it’s a decent spot if you're looking for good service at the bar, but don’t expect the same friendliness from the security team.

Google
The food was pretty good but on the pricier side. It was a little surprising that they had security at the front door on a Sunday afternoon but that speaks more about the San Diego & California government than them. When asking to see ids, security only wants driver's licenses. My global entry card which is issued by the US government via US customs & border protection, which has my photo and birth date, was not accepted.

We didn’t have dinner there because it was late when we arrived. But it’s a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. The staff was really friendly, and we ended up sitting by the bar and chatting with some other customers. The drinks are really good, and it’s not too expensive.

Great vibes. Went for pre wedding shots. Our waitress Maddie was very attentive. Kept the shots coming. Didn’t eat but had the bread bloom to help absorb some of the liquor lol. Music & ambience was dope.

Google
Not sure which "Famous Salty Dog" this is the home of, but it's not home to an actual salty dog cocktail. Was optimistic this salty dog I ordered was going to be fresh AF based on the manual juicer on the counter. I received the green drink pictured. Asked what was in it, and was told "grapefruit juice, vodka.......lime juice, simple syrup, a little soda, a little sprite". 🤔 Food not even worth writing about.

Google
We had lots of fun here. The line to get in can be long but it moves fast. There’s a $5 cover on the weekend, but it felt very reasonable. Good vibes overall- there’s a small dance floor upstairs and the music was dope. Also our server was very pleasant and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back

Yelp
Stopped in when I heard some live music. Two guys playing groovy music acoustic. Ordered a couple beers then the lobster rolls. I'll be honest. I regretted ordering them the minute I did. It didn't feel like a lobster roll place. While waiting, I ordered my first Moscow Mule, which was not to my liking. I let the bartender know I'd prefer kettle rocks and I'd pay for the mule, but she was kind enough to not charge me for it. The lobster rolls held their own. You have to upsize to two and take the meat and stuff it on to one bun for max effect. But for $24c this passed the taste test!!! Overall, good music, good food, great atmosphere and great service. I will come back.

Yelp
One of the many places that you can find the most historical mens bar that durring the early years there were baras for men only. In the gaslamp there were many places that you could gp have dinner and there were places that were only for the high ckass busiiness men. The Tipsy Crow is one place that takes you back to the early years of the 1900s the times when you had speak easys and the hidden bars of San Diegp.. wgen you come to the tipsy you have the feel of the bar and the old wood work that gives the feel the way the bars serve and the old fashioned drinks thwy have with the food they serve. The ambiance of the Tipsy Crow the interior of the club bar you xan have the best in weztern and the best in classic cocktails the club and the cocktails gave the feel of the days of 1905 to the days of the 1940s. For obe of the oldest bar restaurants they have menues at the front door you can choose from the many dishes they can bribg your food to your table and the drinks they make. Customer servoce theu hacevis the best grets you at the front door checkibg your ID. The Tipsy Crow they are cery on top to make sure that a are of age they do ask for your driverz lisence or your ID to make sure that all are of ocer 21. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer the Tipsy Crow is obe of the oldest you xan relive the early years with the great food with such great Iralian flavors. A great place you can have some of the weztern and classix cocktails with friends and coworkers.

Yelp
I came here on a Sunday night around 11 PM, and I love that they stay open late. The bottom floor was pretty packed, but upstairs had a pool table, high tops, another bar, and even a DJ. I'm not sure how often they have a DJ, but it definitely added to the vibe. The playlist was fun, though I wish they played longer clips of the songs instead of switching so quickly. Still, everyone was dancing and having a good time. The bartender was awesome. She made me a pear martini that was delicious. All the staff were super friendly, and the crowd was fun, definitely on the younger side though.
google avatar

Yelp
Okay so I don't have many photos, but I like this spot a lot. The basement is very club-dance energy which was a blast and the DJ was awesome. The mid level is much more chill, sit and talk, but good music and good service. The upstairs has another DJ & the bartenders give great service, and we enjoyed the pool table.

Yelp
Coming inside was cute. I was disappointed because online it says you can explore all 3 floors that are decked out in Grinch. We were only allowed on the first floor so that was disappointing. The decorations were cute from the first floor and had lots of little details pertaining their bar which was cute. Our serve was nice she took our order fast and gave us our drinks fast. The drinks were good, but price was crazy! They don't have their prices on the menu. When I got the bill it was over $35 for just 2 drinks. It was good but not sure if I'd come back because of how expensive it was.

Yelp
Randomly at downtown gaslamp on a Tuesday and spotted an advertised deal on a sidewalk for $20 lobster rolls with clam chowder or ceasar salad, chips aaand either a martini , cosmopolitan or old fashioned. Its for real and it was good. All day Tuesday

Yelp
The ambiance is definitely the highlight of the bar for me and the group i went with. We were helped by a lady on the second floor which was a godsend since she managed to keep up with all of the tables while maneuvering around crowded bar areas. The food was not tested as we already ate, but the drinks were as expected and not too too life changing. The decoration and vibe of the place was cool, but I think that I would have liked seeing the lower level but it was closed off. There weren't many games or activities to do and the dance floor was pretty small / less desired than expected. Might be fun with the right group, but I would recommend this place when they have decorations up.

Yelp
We decided to come here after dinner because the pictures made it look unique and we liked that it had a pool table. The first floor had a bar and different seating areas. The second floor also had a bar and had a cool room for the pool table that had bookshelves and big chairs. It had a great window space with a street view of gaslamp. The ceiling just outside that room was painted and had pink and purple lights on it. It was a bit speak easy feeling and had great decor throughout. The tables had big connect 4 on the tables as well. The music was mostly 80s music and the rooms were brighter until 9pm. At 9pm it turned into more club like music and the lights were dimmed. A server came to our table and took our drink orders. The bar was close to our table and it took quite some time to get our 3 drinks. The vodka triple sec drink was watery and not very good. The blackberry mojito had great flavor and chunks of blackberries that were tasty. The Paloma was good as well with fresh grapefruit juice. The service was slow and she didn't do much for us. Overall, it's a great vibe in there and I'm glad we stopped in.

Yelp
Not the best place but a good place to step into for a beverage. Staff caters to the locals and it did not have that welcoming feel for out of towners. More for locals which is unfortunate considering the location. Nice place, good drinks and food but if you are from out of town there are many other places around here that feel more welcoming.

Yelp
Looking for a joint for grub before a ball game, and this place was right around the corner. Started out with a caesar salad with chicken and finished with the meatballs. Both were good and arrived quickly. Ambiance is goth nightclub, service was prompt and friendly, and prices are in line with the area.

Yelp
Love this place! Friendly service, strong drinks, great beer selection all in a comfortable atmosphere. I definitely got tipsy at the crow!

Yelp
This is a nice bar. The ambiance is great. The bar is well maintained. I would say I'm not crazy about how to drinks are served. The service normally overall is great. It's definitely in a busy area so parking can be a pain. They have 3 floors here. I am not quite sure how often the first floor is open or when, I've only ever been on the main floor and the second floor. Their is a pool table upstairs, which you have to put money in it or a card in order to use it. It's $2.00 a game. Overall entire staff is very polite and helpful. I am not sure of the days but they also have a DJ here in the later hours. Definitely a place to be it's a vibe.

Yelp
Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon and BJ Jezbera was playing. He's good and funny. Nice ambience. Friendly attentive bar tender.
google avatar

Yelp
I haven't eaten here but the bar scene is decent. I'd say this is a staple in the gaslamp night life. I've met up plenty a friend here while also showing new friends to the place. There's 3 levels to this bar - upstairs with a dance floor, bar, high top tables, and a pool table in a living area with a fire place. Down below in hell we have another dance floor where they have a few tables for parties. They don't have Apple Pay so make sure you have your physical card or cash
google avatar

Samantha P.

Yelp
This was my second time in Tipsy Crow and hands down this is my favorite spot in Gaslamp. The concept of having a three floor bar where each level has its own vibe is amazing and I wish more places did that. My group mostly stayed in the bottom club level and had a great time! 100% recommend this place if you're in the area
google avatar

Hailey S.

Yelp
a bit small and could get crowded. go upstairs to dance the night away! the dance floor is a bit small but seating around it made it alright. drinks were easy to order and they were nice about giving waters. the music was bumpin and the friends had a great time here
google avatar

Yelp
After being a San Diegan for 20+ years, I *FINALLY* made it to Tipsy Crow and I don't know why I waited so long!! The atmosphere upstairs is laid back and less noisy than downstairs. We played a few rounds of pool and enjoyed our food and drinks while people watching the streets below. The downstairs bar also had live music and I def see us making our way back!
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
Delicious hot pretzel and meatballs, good service. Live music was fun! We would go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Who came up with stocks alike pricing for booze???? This is absolutely genius!!!! I love this wild interactive process and makes your drinking spree more....financially intellectual by trying to gamble on pricing
google avatar

Yelp
Cute bar in the Gaslamp district in San Diego! Good beers, great cocktails! Live music and very friendly servers. I stopped by as I liked the interior and then liked the menu and so on. Very much worth a try. Cocktail to try is whiskey Merengue...delicious. Only downside is that the Tipsy Crow can get loud due to live music

Yelp
Upon my arrival, as me and my friend got to the door. I was informed of their no hat dress code. (Which is fine/whatever) However, once inside the bar it was only enforced to people of color. I'm not trying to be political or anything. Yet it was very apparent that you HAD to adhere to the dress code based off your skin tone. I had pointed out multiple people who were not following said dress code and nothing was done about it. The only people who were corrected were people of color.

Yelp
We were looking for a late night drink last Tuesday night. One of the people I was with found this place. For a Tuesday it was little busy. My main complaint is that there was only one bartender and it took forever to get one drink which is why we decided to leave the bar after we were done with our first round. There was a lot of wait time, first for the bartender to get our order and then the order of drinks to be given. The drinks were very aesthetic and really good. The bar looks pretty cool and there's even games. I am not sure if I would come back because of the bad service.

Iliana G.

Yelp
I came into tipsy crow after the game to have a drink with my girlfriend and it was really good energy I met the owner nick who was a VERY friendly, down to earth guy. I'll be coming back soon! Good drinks and great music, definitely brought me back to my younger days I was vibing haha thanks nick!!! - iliana

Yelp
reminds me of like those cool funky bars in seattle x bungalow in socal ! it goes upstairs and had eclectic and neon decor hehe not much dancing but music is loud and people are out and about chillen

Yelp
I had a great time last after dinner at the tipsy crow. They had a ska/punk/jazz kind of band playing some cover in their underground floor. The space was perfect for the amount of people so it didnt feel too crowded. I got a dirty martini with Tito's vodka. It was good, I enjoyed the time here

Yelp
I was here this past Friday night around 9:45 p.m. Unfortunately I had a really bad experience with a bartender, Amir. I rarely ever write reviews below three stars, so this one star review really highlights how terrible my experience was. The bartender finally made his way to serve us, there was a group of seven of us girls and he asked what we want to drink. Myself and one of my friends ordered and he asked everyone else. My third friend asked if they had any Christmas specialty cocktails, Amir was very aggressively with loud hand gestures waving his hand in her face said no, no no we don't do that anymore...within seconds of us witnessing the female bartender to his right making a pink peppermint martini with whipped cream and Christmas sprinkles... Besides the fact that he didn't want to make a Christmas cocktail, which I have no problem with, it's the abrasive and hostile tone attitude and comments he made to me and my friends. To follow Amir asked me and my friend to get everyone's drink orders and to give it to him all at one time. That's literally the bartender's job not my job. I'm not paying for everyone's drink, it's not going on one bill, so why would I be placing everyone's drink order? For the record, I didn't say any of this to him, i stayed quiet as did my frkends. He was so insanely rude. Honestly I was ordering my second drink for the night, my friends and I were completely sober, polite, and essentially silent in our engagement with him. I'm guessing Amir had a bad day before ever approaching us. But it's not fair to take it out on customers. I've never had such a terrible experience. I work in human resources for a service company. I highly recommend this employee to go revisit their code of conduct and professional behavior to clients policiss. I would hate to feel that anyone else had a similar experience to me and is never going to this bar again just because of this one bartender's unacceptable and rude behavior.

Yelp
This is a great gaslamp venue on 5th avenue with 3 different levels of entertainment. Security is top notch, Isaac and the crew will greet you by name after checking ID. Bar staff including Angela are friendly and always having fun. Dj Ms. MO has an awesome setup on the third floor with camera where the crowd is projected onto the screen which makes for a lot of smiling faces taking photos of themselves. Dj furious gets the basement popping but be careful it gets hot down there.

Yelp
*review good to knows* lunchtime, dine in, sat in restaurant main lounge, live music, Sunday 1pm, visited during the October Beetlejuice pop up event I loved the fun Beetlejuice pop up they had here for spooky season. All three floors of the bar had themed decor and there were spooky themed cocktails as well. All of the servers and bartender were very nice and attentive. The food and drink menu aside from the new themed cocktails were the same as usual. We tried 4 items: Lobster Roll - 8/10: I enjoyed the flavor and texture of this roll, though the roll was small (to be expected with a lobster roll). It came with a bag of chips and a "shot" of clam chowder. I would have loved the option to opt for a larger portion of chowder instead of chips, but to each their own. French Dip Sliders - 6.5/10: 3 sliders come in an order with the French dipping sauce. I would say the sauce is needed as the meat we had required it to make the meat less dry. The sauce was really good. Clam chowder - 9/10: I'm biased because I love clam chowder. This was served to us piping hot with oyster crackers. The perfect pairing. Chocolate cake - 5/10: the best part of this was the strawberries and the chocolate sauce. The cake was dry. Overall, the food was good for snacking on bar food and the ambiance was really fun here! When the top and underground are open at night the bar is even more fun. I would come here again for a night out, not for lunch.

Yelp
I loved the Beetlejuice decorations for Halloween! This was the main reason I was taken to this spot, as my guy knows I love all things Beetlejuice, and specifically wanted to explore it while I was in town. We waited at a mostly empty bar for beverages on the second floor, but when we didn't get any service after a while we opted for a table that emptied out behind us. I really wanted to try one of their themed drinks, and asked about mocktail options. Our server said she didn't really know as far as suggestions for mocktails, and suggested soda water or tonic, and then offered a mojito mocktail (which was eh, but I don't have super high expectations for alcohol-free sips so that was totally fine). My date got the Sandworm, and was convinced his was alcohol free too, but they assured him it wasn't. The decor was super cool, and the seating was comfy, but I wasn't able to totally relax because there was a HUGE roach crawling about the floor. I thought maybe it was a part of the decor or something, but nope...totally real and thoroughly creeped me out. Worth popping in to check out the decor for Halloween, probably would skip if you are alcohol free or not into a dive-y vibe.

Yelp
Gaslamp quarter in DT San Diego is one of my favorite areas to be in to have a good night out! There are so many options to have fun at! The tipsy Crow is one of my favorite ones! It is three floors! The main floor is mostly a bar and lounges where you can listen to great music and talk with your friends and have a great drink! Upstairs they have a whole different vibe theme usually it's very pop and commercial style music With a great DJ playing music! The underground, which is the basement or third floor is my favorite! Here it feels more like a nightclub! And the party is always very high and energy, the staff is great, very accommodating and hopeful, and always make the best drinks as well as the finger foods that they have here are also amazing! They hit the right spot! Overall, I love going to the spot. I always have a great time and time flies by because I'm having such a good time!
google avatar

Yelp
The drinks are standard, but it's a cool place to go party when it has three different floors that each have their own vibe.

Yelp
Thank you Tipsy Crow for the invite to experience your vibing bar with a pub feel! I loved how it is nestled at the corner away from the craziness of the Gaslamp. The atmosphere was perfect for an exciting night. During my visit, The first floor had a large bar area for seating, tvs, live music and the second floor area offered ample seating, DJ and a pool table. The wood finishes & eccentric decor mixed an old school feel with witty touches. Sean was highlighting the bar's features while mixing delicious drinks like the Signature Crow Fashioned made with Tipsy Crow Private Select Maker's Mark, Brooke was kindly passing out mouthwatering bites to DJ Pete's on point spinning variety. While I stuffed myself with Brooke's fantastic recommendation, the Buffalo Chicken Dip, the dance floor was just getting started. Im not much of a dancer so I managed to find myself playing pool in the library area. I met some really cool people while having fun! I will be back and highly recommend!

Yelp
Second time coming here and have had two totally different but amazing experiences! Here tonight for a low key live music gig and sat at the bar and ordered some drinks and food! The bar food was absolutely amazing! We had the blooming bread and the pretzel and I was very impressed! The first time I came here on a Monday night, me and my group of friends had a great time on the upstairs dance floor! The DJ was amazing and we spent a few hours here as the only group! The bar staff is attentive and polite! The DJ was fun and energetic even with us being the only ones out there! The photo is not how the pretzel was served but how I arranged it when I realized I was happy enough to write a yelp review lol

Yelp
One of the pretty decent bars in Gaslamp. They have 3 levels, we were on the main floor. It gives you an Old- Style Saloon vibe when you walk in. There is no cover charge. There was live music and he was taking requests that he would sing and play the guitar A group of 30+ came, it was my cousin's birthday, the bartenders were excellent. They were fast, made excellent drinks, and made sure we were taken care of. Tipsy Crow has a great selection of liquor that is displayed behind the bar. This was one of the spots on our bar crawl before dinner plans. It was busy but not overly crowded on a Friday evening. It was located less than 10 mins from our hotel.
google avatar

Maria S.

Yelp
Good drinks This was a nice spot for drinks. When we arrived there was a lot of people and one bartender holding it down. She managed to have drinks out quickly and they were good. The pretzel was warm and everything you would expect from one. The cheese sauce tasted like a standard pre made cheese sauce but it wasn't bad. It also came with a honey mustard that was very delicious. Overall a good time
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
Highly recommend this spot for a night out. Get there early as the line usually wraps around the corner and has significant wait times. Two story spot, can't really offer much insight on what the first floor holds beside a bar that you can see as you head up the stairs. Upstairs holds a dance floor, bar, pool table and standing and sitting areas. I've been here several time and enjoyed myself each time.

Yelp
Tl;dr be wary of the Tipsy Crow and ask for an itemized receipt My friends and I went to to the Tipsy Crow over Labor Day weekend on Saturday night. We had a fine enough time but were WAY overcharged for drinks. I ordered two tequila sodas. I did not call my liquor, I mention that to make it clear it's not like I asked for top shelf tequila, and yet somehow the two drinks, with tip, ended up being over $50. To be fair to the bar, in the moment, I remember being surprised but I signed and tipped without thinking too hard about it. But when I looked at my credit card statement a couple days later, I had questions. I called the bar and asked if they could help me understand how two drinks could end up being that much, if they could send me an itemized receipt, etc. I gave them my name, last four digits of my credit card, and time of transaction. The guy I spoke with said he'd look into it but couldn't guarantee he could find my receipt. It's a little weird that in this day and age someone can't guarantee they can find a receipt given all the information I provided. Still, I'm hoping this gets resolved and if it does, I'll update my review.

Yelp
Always a favorite spot while bar hopping in the gaslamp. There's a different vibe on every floor. Always has good music and good service and good drinks! Plus there's games, live music and a Photo Booth. Your bar hopping experience isn't complete until you've visited the tipsy crow
google avatar

Yelp
I thought the Tipsy Crow was a pretty great place to enjoy the nightlife in San Diego! My group was just visiting for a quick stop - we stayed mostly on the second level and it was paaacked. On the second floor: they were playing classic songs from the 2010s. There's a smaller dance floor, a full bar, and a pool table. There's a few places to sit too. PS: No cover charge and the line moved quickly for a Saturday! Tacos El Gordo is right across the street so def grab a meal before or after your visit =)
google avatar

Yelp
One of the better places to enjoy night life in Gaslamp. Always a good time every time. I like the addition of the pool table upstairs and def still enjoy the downstairs dancin room. I have yet to ever try the food, must give it a go soon enough. Staff is cool and friendly. Btw - after 9 you cannot wear a hat, they walk around and have you remove them, kinda odd but its cool.
google avatar

Fiona Y.

Yelp
Luckily there was no long line or an entrance fee which was great around 10PM. My friends and I stayed on the 2nd floor where they had a full bar, fireplace, pool table, and dance floor with a live DJ. When I went, I only went up to the 2nd story, I believe the 3rd story was blocked off. Either way, we enjoyed staying on the 2nd floor. The dance floor gets busier as night falls, the groups of people coming in varied from their late 20s and 30+. Close to the DJ, there are 2-3 tucked away tables if you wanted to a spot to sit while you enjoy the music or take a break from dancing. The DJ was very kind and open to taking song requests. The drinks were okay, the AMF was sweeter but their hospitality was nice. Staff would come by frequently to clean and maintain table tops.

Alison B.

Yelp
Sat down at the bar on a weekday night, so it wasn't busy at all. So I was annoyed when it took the 2 bartenders 20+ minutes to even acknowledge us. No "I'll be with you inna sec" or "heres a menu". And when she finally came to take our order, the bartender was rude & had an attitude. The drinks were yummy though. Just rude bartenders. Live music was a good vibe. Also the Grinch pop up bar is lowkey non-existent because they are getting sued for it.
google avatar

Irene M.

Yelp
This place is fun! Drinks are reasonably priced, the dance floor is lit! Bartenders are nice and quick! Def a fun place for a Friday evening, night out with the girls!

Yelp
Good club! Cover charge on st. Patty's but normally doesn't have one. 3 levels, the bottom is dance floor and the other two are hang out bar areas. Cool decorations. Mix of ages. Expensive drinks of course, but it's San Diego. The DJ kinda sucked on the night we went.

Yelp
Such a fun bar with a great vibe! The music was on point, the drinks were strong and creative, and the crowd was lively without being overwhelming. The bartenders were friendly and quick, even when it got busy. Perfect spot for a night out with friends or just to kick back and enjoy the energy. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Went with a large group for drinks. A few friends trickled in late and they let in everyone except our African American friend. The bouncers tried to shut the door in her face and told us to go to a different bar. Can't believe we still have to deal with racists like this is 2024

Yelp
This place gets PACKED! Came here on a Friday night and upstairs was lit! There are 3 floors with different genres of music on each level. There was a line starting to form to get upstairs. I enjoyed all floors, but mostly the bottom floor because it was darker and artists such as Drake, Lil Wayne, Kendrick, Akon, etc. played down there. The drinks are good (bartenders downstairs made drinks stronger than upstairs the night I went) & priced average. I recommend stopping by if you're in Gaslamp. Tacos El Gordo (bomb tacos) is next door across the street to visit after!!

Yelp
I stopped in for the first time yesterday after walking by many times on my way back to our downtown apartment. What a wonderful idea! I was greeted by a friendly personable bartender by the name of Adrian (sp?)who has laid back, very cool and knowledgeable! He served me up a splendid Bloody Mary that helped me celebrate a mid day successful eye appointment and we chatted for some time about life, sports and mutual upbringing on the EAST coast! The atmosphere of this bar/restaurant is cozy, warm and chill. His service was amazing and I found my new neighborhood hang out! Thank you Adrian! Next time I'll try your Cadillac Margarita & evening munchies menu! Great find in our Gaslamp Quarter!
