I came here with my buddies. It was pretty good, the drive wasn't bad at all. Our waitress was nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I got the 2-egg breakfast. My eggs were over easy and were cooked great. The bacon was a little undercooked. I like my bacon crispy and it was more flimsy. Plus it was pretty white. The skillet potatoes had great flavor and had a nice crispness to them. The apple juice was great. It wasn't too sweet and wasn't too tart.

I love, not just like, love the tower grill. Every meal I have ever had from there has been delicious. Their staff is always friendly, the kids love watching the planes take off, and the cherry on top, its veteran owned.

Google
Terrific food. Kind, attentive service. Even if you're not into aviation, it's worth visiting. Best queso with homemade chips. Potstickers are better than PF Chang. (The picture is minus one because we snatched it up immediately.) Alfredo sauce, creamy and seasoned perfectly (got the meat on the side). My husband's ribeye was thick and cooked perfectly with delicious crispy baked potato and asparagus. Breakfast anytime, even during their yummy Friday evening dinner. Definitely go!

This place was great, service was a bit slow which seemed off considering there were several employees just standing around talking, but otherwise the food and location is amazing. I would recommend people to go here. Portions are decent and flavor was on point. They are kid friendly and staff was nice.

Google
What a delightful little spot! It’s vintage inside and right along a run way so you can watch the planes take off and land! I wish I got our servers name, but she was a doll. It seems everyone who works here is really sweet. My husband and I both had the grilled chicken sandwich, his was “CA style” (bacon & avocado) - they were SO good!! This place is a gem and I’m so glad we went and checked it out! Already planning to come back with my parents!

Google
This is our new favorite place! We have gone 5 times in the last 2 weeks haha! The staff is incredible. Everyone is so happy and kind! Extremely attentive and just all around great. Food is fantastic, both breakfast and lunch has been great! The chicken fried steak is awesome (could use more gravy) the tacos for lunch are delicious. My family has really enjoyed going and being able to see the planes taking off and landing is a fun treat! Keep it up, the owners have done an amazing job! Keep it up and we’ll see yall soon!

Google
Absolutely loved this place! Food was amazing and large portions. It was fun watching the planes take off and land. We will be back for sure! Bonus is it has the family business atmosphere which I love supporting.

Google
It might’ve been the best burger I’ve ever had, but it was for sure the best fries I’ve ever had. The planes landing were really fun to watch and the staff were awesome. The grilled chicken sandwich was a 7/10 and the coleslaw was very bland. The P-38 burger was a 10/10!

Yelp
We had a very nice lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We had a wheel chair bound person with us so we sat downstairs. It was very quiet and the service was still very attentive. The food was excellent, the "Shawn" was exactly what I needed and my 93 year old father really enjoyed his grilled cheese sandwich. We hope to get back soon.

Yelp
What a gem of a restaurant! Food: 4/5. The breakfast food was pretty good. We started with the Idaho Sunrise mimosas. I felt it could've used more huckleberry flavor, but was good for a mimosa. The breakfast tacos were absolutely phenomenal and definitely something I would recommend. The biscuits and gravy, and the avocado toast were both good. We didn't order the burrito, but saw someone else get it. It was HUGE and looked amazing! Service: 5/5. The service was top-notch and everyone was great! We got seated right away and our food came quickly. Atmosphere: 5/5. This was a bit of a drive for us but absolutely worth it! We sat outside and watch the planes takeoff and land. It was so much fun and the kids loved it! Kid friendly: 5/5. They have highchairs and a kids menu. The kids also loved watching the planes. This place is a must! Such a fun atmosphere and delicious food!

Yelp
Our family absolutely loves The Tower Grill! The food is amazing and the location is charming!! Our kids love watching the planes fly in. Always a great experience. P. S. The fish tacos are INCREDIBLE

Yelp
What a fun and unique experience to enjoy a meal in a tower overlooking a small airfield. I could see pilots gassing up their plane and saw a student pilot come in as well. The space is small inside but there's also an outdoor patio. They give a discount for military. The food was pretty good. I got biscuits and gravy and my partner got the chicken fried steak. For me, the portion was just perfect and I had no leftovers. Servers were all young but super professional and friendly. I would come back for breakfast if I were in the area again.

Yelp
Honestly had no idea this place existed until two weeks ago. Brought my work truck in for a repair and decided to find a breakfast spot to kill some time waiting. When looking at Yelp, this came up and caught my eye. So off we went to try a new to us place. Took me a minute to realize this was upstairs in the terminal building, but what a unique and cool place to sit outside on a rather pleasant day and enjoy watching all the small aircraft taking off and landing. Our order included the Chorizo Omelette for myself and Lara ordered the Avacado Toast. Orange juice and Coffee as well. The Avacado toast was two large portion slices of bread, and Lara took one piece home for round two. The Omelette, in my fashion, was a hearty portion but only a one time deal. Everything had exceptional taste and well prepared by the team in the kitchen. The orange juice was very fresh tasting and the coffee topped everything off for me. As a hobbyist photographer, I look forward to coming back to eat again and hopefully get a close table to the runway to practice capturing the planes as they pass by.

Yelp
We needed a place our dog could be with us, The Tower Grill was perfect. We sat out on the terrace where it was fun to listen to the air radio traffic and listen yo the planes coming and going. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. This is a great little cafe!

Mike H.

Yelp
First time going to the Tower.. as we wanted to see the newest Exhibit to the Warhawk Museum land... A-10 Warthog First off the people who work there were friendly along with the service. The food was very good. We will be coming back here as its nice to seat on the outdoor patio watching the planes. We did feel rushed as we were just finishing when the plane was flying over.

Yelp
Visited for the first time. Had brunch on a Tuesday and the place was hopping! Very cheerful staff and the view was perfect for observing the planes coming and going. Our party had biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak and french toast. All were top notch! We will definitely return soon!

Yelp
Staff here is amazing. Best chicken fried steak I've ever had... A little hard to find, but worth it

Yelp
Best breakfast in Nampa with a beautiful view of small airplanes taking off. Nothing beats their breakfast tacos. Food is always fresh no matter what you order. Service is always quick and prices are very reasonable for what you get.

Yelp
Wait time was pretty well expected with seating availability. Food was awesome! Started with the cinnamon roll and ordered the chorizo omelet with a biscuit. Flavor was great on all items. The ambiance is great too with flights taking off. The patio seating was kept cool with overhead awnings. Great place.

Yelp
We came on a Friday about 1:15 pm for lunch. I chose Tower Grill based on the reviews. I thought it would be fun to sit and watch the planes take off and land. I didn't know where exactly the restaurant was located but we were headed from Star to Nampa for errands so I thought, let's give it a try. It is located within the grounds of the Nampa Municipal Airport, almost next to the Warhawk Air Museum. It is a small building and the restaurant is upstairs. I don't know what I was expecting but it is a very small and plain indoor dining area with outdoor seating as well. On a warm day the outdoor seating would be very cool. We grabbed a window table. One plane, most likely a student, was practicing take offs and landings. From our table we only saw the take offs. We saw a few other planes taxiing, otherwise the airport was pretty quiet. The servers were nice young women. One got us our drinks and took our food order. Another delivered the food. After the food was delivered, no one came back to check on us. My wife had the fish and chips and I had the grilled chicken sandwich. I had the fries and my wife the sweet potato fries. We liked the fries but my sandwich and the fish were just OK. I'm glad we tried the Tower Grill but I don't think we'll be back.

Yelp
Great service. Good food, I had the avocado toast. Different than I have had before, it was flavorful and very good. Fresh! My daughter in law had the French toast and it looked amazing. She said it tasted amazing as well. We didn't have a long wait and waited on quickly.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about our first tower grill experience!!!! We have a toddler and it was literally like a toddler hangout while we waited for our table. Watching the planes was awesome. Their food and bloodys were great! Also, I asked a gentleman if they had toddler shirts and he gave our daughter one for free because it was a little big. Definitely will be back!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful service and good food. My daughter lives for the giant cinnamon rolls and I like most everything. Great, basic food served up hot and fast. Always packed because it's so good

Yelp
We stopped at this tiny airport restaurant on New Year's Day. While the waitstaff seemed a bit short and inattentive--likely due to the holiday rush--I don't fault them for it. Hopefully, on our next visit, the service will be more welcoming. That said, the food was absolutely delicious, and it's worth giving this place another shot for the flavors alone!
google avatar

Yelp
Really good biscuits and gravy. Lovely staff. And the airplanes up and down the runway made for a wonderful visit on the balcony.

Yelp
We had breakfast at the Tower Grill at the request of our family that lives in Nampa. This is one of their favorite breakfast places in Nampa. The food was very good and service was good as well. It was fun to watch the planes take off and land and they had very good coffee. I will return as it was fun and tasty!

Yelp
A very cool place! Suggestion is to get there early or make reservations. Service was very attentive and food was generous and tasty.
google avatar

Yelp
I was surprised that this place was at the airport. The food was amazing. I had the biscuits and gravy and the cinnamon roll were down right amazing. Holy smokes , I'm From out of town and I definitely will be eating there again. Service was good and we ate outside. Saw the planes take off and land . It was an added bonus for sure . You gotta come check this place out

Yelp
Way exceeded our expectations! We were seated immediately upon arrival and opted to sit outside so our little one could watch the planes taking off and landing. He loved it, and so did we! Food aside, it is a unique experience to "plane watch" so many unique little planes! We must have seen about 20-30 taking off/landing! As for the food, we loved everything we tried! We started with the Huckleberry Lemonade which was very fresh-tasting and not at all syrupy. My husband got the A-10 Warthog Burrito which was SO good. We both agreed it was one of the best breakfast burritos we've had. I got the Huckleberry Crunch French Toast which was also very good. Their sausage was some of the best I've had, and their ham is so tender and full of flavor! Everything was well-balanced in flavor, not overly salty or greasy like a lot of other breakfast places. Great breakfast & experience. We can't wait to go back! I have to note that the staff were all so kind and genuine. They all make you feel like close friends, and the service was impressive and quick. Please go! You'll love it!

Nicole W.

Yelp
Food is always good and I love sitting on the patio watching the planes come in and out!

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! The food is fantastic and the staff is great. My kids love watching the planes while we get breakfast. 6 months ago we started coming here every other Wednesday and it's been our favorite new tradition! You won't be disappointed! Breakfast tacos & tri motor omelet are my 2 favs! Coffee is always hot and delicious too, lord knows I never get hot coffee at home with the kids
google avatar

Kris N.

Yelp
First time here. Loved it! Went for breakfast. Service was very good. Food was good ... we just got simple one egg and two egg breakfasts and we both enjoyed their home fries a lot. Sat outside and watched planes take off and land. Super fun. Decor is cute. Try it out for something different.

Yelp
Stopped by The Tower Grill last night for an amazing meal! The cioppino special did not disappoint! Tower Grill is always consistent with delicious food whether its breakfast, lunch or Friday night dinner!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a real gem. The food was all so good from the fresh homemade cinnamon roll to the chicken fried steak. The employees were very friendly and we got our food extremely fast. There is a fine outside option where you can watch planes takeoff, I can't say I know of any other place where that option is available. Sitting outside on a beautiful day enjoying some great food with the view of planes and the sounds of the landings and takeoffs. It's really a one of a kind place, if you haven't been yet you must go!
google avatar

Yelp
We've visited The Tower Grill twice in the past week after several people recommended it! We went for breakfast one day and lunch today. Everything was delicious!! Service is excellent and the overall environment is super cute and inviting. You can tell it's a small local restaurant with lots of regulars. You can see the small airstrip from the restaurant which is kind of fun to watch these cute airplanes takeoff. I read some other reviews and the complaints I read had to do with the young staff. In my opinion, we all need to start somewhere, maybe appreciate that we've got young adults learning a service job and consider that they've been on their feet all day and are expected to be on it at all times. Things happen, give them grace and ask kindly if you need something. Both visits we had very sweet young servers who looked like they were working hard to keep up with the demand. Well done guys! We will be back and we will spread the word!!
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Nice place and unique location. You might catch watching a plane come or go. Food is pretty good for the type of place, prices are decent. I think I heard it can get crowded, but when I went that was not the issue. I was there on a weekday though and earlier in the morning. But was there 2 or 3 hours for a meeting and it was no problem with noise level.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! What a cool little place. Located upstairs right beside the airstrip for the Nampa Municipal Airport, Tower Grill is a hidden gem. The staff was super helpful and accommodating, they brought the kids Mickey Mouse pancakes first and the kids were happy to be served quickly. Kids meals are $5 and come with a side and drink. We got the warthog burrito which had eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage and hashbrowns. Topped with gravy and skewered with a knife. We got the breakfast potatoes on the side and they were crispy and fresh. Everything was great! The burrito would have been even better with the crispy potatoes inside in place of the hashbrowns, but it was still very good. Great little place and very family friendly. I imagine they fill up their small seating area quickly, so come early for a good seat near the window to watch the planes take off.
google avatar

Summer T.

Yelp
SUPER CUTE! it was quite busy when we went but that didn't stop the great service! The staff kind of tag teams tables which is nice to see all their staff! The food was yummy! I got the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon & avocado...they don't short you on the avocado!! It was messy but I didn't mind! My mom got their fish and chips, fish was a little too crunchy but the fries were the best! I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
We came here yesterday after going to the farmers market in Nampa...we had very high hopes for this place based on all the great Yelp! reviews. I am going to break this down from my perspective. Ambiance and location 5 star for unique locations and views. This is blessed at the Nampa municipal airport and it was very cool watching planes take off and land while enjoying the great outdoor area. Service- 3 star and only giving a 3 star because most of the wait staff was seriously hustling but from bay I could see this whole place was being ran by young adults and teenagers. Either way not very attentive and never asked how our food was, do you want a refill etc... Food 4 star my burrito was really good but needed some sort of sauce because it was somewhat dry. My wife had the avocado toast and was very underwhelmed and lack of seasoning and flavors. My SIL loved his chorizo breakfast tacos, but here was the rib for me...food while better than decent took absolutely forever to the point that one of the inattentive severs asked if we wanted our check. This is basic food that unfortunately took way to long ti get out. It took almost an 1hr 45 mins for the total experience. Not once did anyone apologize or check on us after we order till we got our food. In addition the timing for food was off. Not only for us but for the table next door as well...you shouldn't make people feel wait for food for over an hour and then make others wait to get there own food. My food thankfully stayed hot while I waited the extra 5+ mins for my daughters food. Would love to give this place another try based on all the great reviews but for now I am going to give it some time.
google avatar

Christine C.

Yelp
What a great little place for lunch. The ambiance is fun with all of the airplane pictures and paraphernalia. The service is always good with a nice and friendly staff. They take the time to chat and always seem to be happy to work here. We brought our out of state relatives here and they couldn't say enough about the food and place. My husband and I split a pastrami Reuben with sweet potato fries. My husband also got a side of tater tots that could have been a meal of its own! They don't take reservations but we only had to wait for about 10 minutes for our table. We will come for breakfast next time!

Yelp
Having a hefty appetite and looking for a Saturday brunch, we pulled up to see what options were available and came across a restaurant we had never heard of. Nestled at the back of a small road that leads to the municipal airport, the restaurant is located in the top of the tower that is adjacent to the runway. Fortunately there was no wait when we arrived, but we were also told that there was no outdoor seating. Placed in the center of their seating area, I felt incredibly claustrophobic with how tightly packed the tables were and how popular they were on a Saturday afternoon. The servers were all incredibly friendly, and once we put our orders in, one of them came by to let us know that a seat outside had opened up and asked us if we wanted to move. It was incredibly proactive and left a great impression. Sitting outside is definitely what this restaurant is about. Being able to watch aircraft take off and land while enjoying some classic brunch staples. My wife ordered the French toast, and I went with the A-10 Warthog Burrito. The serving sizes were massive! I loved the few bites of French toast I stole, and my burrito gave me more than enough food to fuel me for the day. I was a little disappointed to see that the skillet potatoes had no seasoning on them, and my country gravy was a little thin and on the lighter side of the ladle. Past those two observations, the food was great. I have to acknowledge one thing, and it's not really a positive or a negative, just a reality. Sitting indoors may have felt claustrophobic, but sitting outdoors had a tendency to smell like jet fuel. It's not a negative, just something to be aware of. Food - 4/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 3.5/5 Overall, this is a unique experience that's worth trying, and I hope to come back soon for one of their Friday night dinners. If you have kids, it's an absolute must!
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
Fast and great service! Food really hit the spot! I've never had a burrito before with gravy on it, this gravy was delicious and not too much of it. Really cool atmosphere, sitting outside we could watch the planes taking off.

Yelp
A fun choice with a view of the planes landing and taking off. Perfect for breakfast or lunch. I'm always surprised when breakfast places have weak coffee, or coffee that's made in such large quantities that it turns bitter. Not expecting Starbuck's but do like a full-bodied blend. The Tower Grill coffee is very good and frequently refilled. Not done automatically, the server asked each time if it was ok to top off, a nice touch. Lots of other tempting beverage choices too. My wife either has the "F-111" one egg breakfast with one piece of toast, two slices of bacon instead of ham steak or one sausage. If experimenting, she has the avocado toast with tomato, scrambled eggs and bacon bits. It usually has Everything Seasoning. The server also suggested having it on the side, a nice option. A good size portion, so I got a taste too. Loved that the bread was crisp so not soggy, chunks of avocado in the spread and meaty bits of bacon. There's Huckleberry Crunch French toast with granola, topped with whipped ream or just order traditional, but you are missing out. I change it up each time, may indulge in the biscuit and gravy dish with two eggs over easy and added a side of bacon. Good balanced flavor of the sausage gravy which doesn't have a floury aftertaste like some places do, creamy with some sausage bits but topped with chunks of bacon. The biscuit was not overly dense, the combination had a nice balance. Really hungry? Order a half pound chicken fried steak with sausage gravy, eggs, skillet potatoes (with peppers) or an ample amount of hash browns. Save room to share a cinnamon roll, top it with lots of frosting. For lunch, my favorite burger is the P-38. Under the top bun is a big onion ring, bacon, pickles, lettuce, thick slices of tomato and onion, plus BBQ sauce. The fish tacos are cod, paired with cabbage, chipotle, queso fresco and fresh-made Pico De Gallo. The Pastrami Reuben is served on buttered marble rye; the Grilled Cheese has a Parmesan-crusted sourdough.. Open 8 am till 3 pm and right now the owner/chef is showing off his inventive side with dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings. See the menu on the website www.thetowergrill.com There is a unique ordering sequence. Take a seat, the wait staff brings you a menu, have a drink or water, when ready go up to the cash register, order and pay and get a number to take back to the table. If paying by cc and you want to wait to tip an amount, I'd suggest bringing cash. The décor reflects the chef/owner Nate's long time family love of airplanes and has fun vintage style signage. I've always had good meals here, service is friendly and energized, looking forward to trying more of the menu again, highly recommend.

Yelp
We have eaten here several times and every time either off the lunch menu or off the special dinner menu it's been excellent! The quality and variety of food is always prepared with tasty spices and done to perfection! Highly recommend this restaurant

Yelp
Amazing!!! I am so excited we are able to check this place out. Getting to this café was unexpected as it was kind of "hidden" right behind the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa. You can enter from either side of the building and the café is on the top floor. As you enter, it has a nice relaxing ambiance. The place is quaint and not very big. You order up on the counter and they will deliver out your food to the table. The staff there are very friendly and very much attentive to our needs. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs plate. It was very tasty! Perfectly cooked hash browns where it is crunchy outside and cooked in the inside. The breaded steak has flavor and it isn't bland. Gravy is tasty and eggs cooked to my liking. I ordered it with sourdough toast and a perfect way to be dipping the egg yolk with my toast. Hubby ordered the the P-38 burger (I think?) It had an onion ring inside. Looks yummy! I wasn't able to try the burger but hubby devoured it! I was able to try the fries and I love it! Perfectly crispy and looks like their fries has some sort of coating to their French fries. Food was delicious! This definitely is a spot we will be coming back to. A hidden gem! This is a keeper!

Yelp
Unique place! The restaurant is up on the 2nd floor overlooking the runway. It's small but you can eat outside also. We just got an egg, hash brown and bacon meal. Simple but good. It got pretty busy after we got there so we were glad we got there early.

Yelp
A hidden gem! I'm so thankful I stumbled across this place when I needed breakfast. The Tower Grill overlooks a small airstrip. The place is small and humble, but the staff knows how to hustle. I tried the breakfast tacos - the eggs were so light and fluffy, the chorizo was delicious and the tacos had the perfect amount of heat. They were the best breakfast tacos I've ever eaten! Their coffee is good too. They even have Mimosas and Bloody Marys. This place was off the beaten path for me, but now they are on my radar and I'll be back. Also, consider the option to tip the kitchen $5 - they definitely earn the tips!!!
google avatar

Doug R.

Yelp
Great restaurant, with a patio that overlooks the runway! Hint: it is hidden on the second story of the terminal building. The Trimotor omelette was excellent. The potatoes were cooked perfectly. The decaf was hot and our service kept the cup full.

Yelp
Amazing food and a great way to start the New Year! Thank you guys I pray 2024 brings you all everything you need and more!!

Yelp
Nice little place, super friendly people. I wasn't too hungry so I got the small 1 egg breakfast. Egg was cooked perfectly. Sausage was the nice big thick ones and everything was just perfect for me. I will be back to try the chicken fried steak as that looked wonderful from what Insaw go by me. lol

Yelp
Great food! Pleasantly surprising biscuits are the best I've ever had! Service was fast and very pleasant.

Yelp
Love it. Great breakfast and burgers. Watch the planes take off! Service is good. Busy on the weekends!

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try as I was driving through Boise. It's a very cool spot overlooking a runway. The food (chicken fried steak) and coffee was great, but the service was even better. Looking around you can't help but notice that all the employees are busting their butts to provide the best service possible. I'm not sure who is in charge, but that person is definitely doing something right. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a picture of my plate for a review before I demolished it, but it was delicious and plated very well.

Yelp
The tower grill is a super unique place to dine. The walls are covered with fun on-theme decor. For a while this was a weekly spot for our family! We have a son who loves to see look at the planes and watch them take off. The food is very tasty, large portions, and has great prices! You get a good bang for your buck here. While it's usually fairly busy when we go, they still manage to seat us quickly, and are always very accommodating to our small kids. By now we've tried almost everything on the menu and it's hard to pick favorites. Everything they offer is hearty, flavorful, and hits the spot. My husband is a huge fan of the Shawn burger, and the Biscuits and Gravy breakfast. One of our favorite places to go & would recommend you try this place out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Great breakfast, generous portions, and Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Need I say more? Service was good and watching the action at the airfield is enjoyable.
