Staff is extremely helpful, with lots of general knowledge. Many also have some specialty skills, advice, and knowledge. One of the owners has been there very time we have gone, and she is extremely helpful. She always has great tips and tricks for different trails, parts, and of course, bikes. Their part and bike selection is good, with a range of bikes, from beginner to expert. If they don’t have a part, they’re happy to order it for you at no charge. Service is exceptional, with their mid level tune have felt better afterwards than another shop’s highest level tune, which cost more than twice as much.

Would not recommend. The staff that works there is very inattentive to anyone but their regulars. If you do not frequent there, you will not get the same level of service as someone who frequents. The owner is nice, and the food is great, but the lack of care from the rest of the staff ruins the whole experience. I have seen them forget to sit people, forget to tell the other hostesses about customers being sat, sit other patrons and take their orders before even acknowledging the customers sat before them, and sit customers in locations where, unless you knew were there, you weren't being helped. And this is during times where they are not slammed by customers and have about 8 people at the bar and about 6 total tables sat. It is not a pleasant experience to eat there, and if they could get the staff to offer the same level of customer service to all patrons, it will make the experience better.

Nice, open space with plenty of windows, views of surrounding nature, working and dining spaces, both in- and outdoor. There's a small food service on-site, store, small conference room, and restrooms. The space can be sectioned off to accommodate large groups, however it gets quite noisy when other guests are around.

Great park experience for mountain biking, golfing, disc golf and walking trails. Good vibes for a Friday night with a small jazz band playing also. Beautiful Minnesota summer night. Highly recommend a chill afternoon at this park.

I wish that we lived in Minneapolis so that I could go to the Trailhead in all the seasons. Extremely easy access to mountain biking, cycling, walking, hiking archery, cross country skiing EVERYTHING!! Truly a blast and a gem of a spot.

A beautiful place for a meal or a beverage. Sit inside the trailhead and do some work, rent a fat tire bike, cross country skis, or enjoy a Sauna with 612 Sauna. Awesome spot for year-round patio views. Let your kids tube in the winter or mountain bike during the summer while you watch them from the outdoor space. Fire pits, a super cute retail area, and awesome food and drinks. The perfect spot to take in the trails and enjoy our huge urban wonderland, Theodore Wirth Park.

The Trailhead is a new facility that really rounds out the features of Theodore Wirth Park. Inside there are locker rooms, restrooms, food and beer options, information on the park and trails, an information desk with staff, golf club and bike rentals, a bike shop, and rooms for classes. They offer seating indoor and out. There is a parking lot just out the front door and trails begin immediately on the property.

Yelp
This has got to be one of the most amazing community centers I've been to in the US. I was looking for places to tube and I'm so glad this popped up on my Google Maps. Currently they have tubing times every 2 hours and it's first come first serve for every 2 hour block. It's $10 for a tube rental and you do unfortunately have to climb up the stairs yourself. It honestly is such a workout but the ride down is incredibly worth it as you do go through electifying speeds. With breaks in between, our group managed to do 8 runs which I thought was very fun. Otherwise, I thought the building and all its facilities was fantastic. There are so many activities you can rent out from snow-shoeing to cross-crountry skiing at such an affordable rate. Also there were so many people to help you out with all the different activities. The bathrooms were also very clean and there was plenty of seating inside. I seriously cannot recommend the Trailhead more to anyone who is looking for outdoor activities and associated rentals in the Minneapolis region.

Yelp
This is such a wonderful community space! This can be a great meet-up before you go biking, golfing, skiing, running or more. You can eat at the restaurant and grab a drink. On Friday nights there's live music and large gatherings of neighbors heading into the weekend. On Wednesdays in the summer there are bike races for all ages. You can rent all different types of bikes for kids and adults, skis and other winter equipment for reasonable fees. Be sure to become a Loppet member for early bird sign ups, discounts and events all year!

Yelp
Wow, what an honor it is to be the first to review The Trailhead! This is a place with many faces: rent equipment, hang out, grab a bite, host an event or wedding - you name it! RENTALS: They've got active life items for sale, and in the winter, you can get your Nordic ski equipment rentals here. EAT: Stop by the Mill Valley Market inside or window outside to sit and eat. EVENT: This space is gorgeous - and I didn't even think about it being an event venue until the Mill Valley team mentioned they're hosting a wedding the day we stopped in! They've got great indoor and outdoor space. This is a true trailhead spot for all seasons and reasons.

Yelp
My friends and I have used the Trailhead as a meeting spot for a group of 3-4 for hiking at the nearby Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary and then we enjoyed a wonderful lunch afterwards here at the Mill Valley Market. There's lots of comfortable seating inside and tables outside, Beautiful location and there's parking! Awesome!
