We accidentally found this great place! We sat at the bar. Our bartender was pleasant and accommodating. Had a great Manhattan, draft beer and delicious food. Cajun pasta was amazing and black and blue salad delicious. Prices were reasonable as well! We’ll be back.

We loved The Trailhead so much that we went 2 nights in a row. The food is cooked excellently. Delicious, fresh. The first night we got a burger plate (fries are so good) and the greens & seeds salad with steak (amazing). The second night we brought friends and everyone loved their meal— the nachos were a hit. The chili on them had a nice spice. I love the cocktail with citrus and olive oil. Our server was lovely and had a nice sense of humor. The restaurant is nicely designed, light atmosphere and there is a patio. The view of the mountain range is beautiful.

Stopped for dinner and we’re wow’ed by the view in the fall. 10/10. Menu was awesome and couldn’t decide what to get. Chicken parm was excellent. Chicken sandwich 5/5. Great variety and kids menu! Good choice of beer and cocktails. Robin helped us a ton and was extremely friendly and helpful. We would def stop back if/when around the area again.

Oh wow, this restaurant is excellent. Liz, the manager, was such a sweetheart and is so on top of it— we didn’t stay at the lodge this time, but we might next time we are in the area, literally because this place is excellent. The hummus and house-fried pita is fantastic. The steak frites is lovely. The falafel is amazing. But the fries? The fries are triple-fried. I can’t stress this enough. Triple-fried, crispy, delectable goodness. Three times fried. Thrice. The cocktails are also excellent. Go here. You won’t be disappointed.

My fiancé and I came for dinner. Our server Michelle was kind and helpful. The food and cocktails were good. We had charcuterie, Vermont chicken, and a chicken sandwich. This is upscale pub fare. The views were great from the restaurant. It would be a great place after skiing at bromley.

We sat out on the deck last month and enjoyed the food, drinks, and view immensely. Don't let the olive oil in the Truth Bee Told cocktail steer you to something else. It was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. We all had the Smoked Maple Cheddar Burger which was SO good. The chili and the grilled peach and burrata salad were both amazing too. To top it all off, we ate on the deck overlooking the beautiful mountain and the valley below. I can't wait to go back this fall.

What a gem! Great bar area with comfy leather lounge chairs, high tops, great views of the valley. Buffalo chicken salad (a fav of mine) was perfect. If you haven’t gone yet, check them out. A great addition to the area.

Had 2 very nice dinners at the Trailhead while staying at Sun lodge - we first got drinks at the bar (really liked the blowing smoke cocktail, they also have a great selection of local beers on tap or cans) before dining. Appetizers and salads are great to share (cornbread, VT salumi boards, veggies and deviled eggs were crowd favorites) and then I really enjoyed the chicken breast, chicken sandwich and soup of the day (hearty and flavorful lamb stew). Others got the lodge pies and steak fries and everybody was very satisfied with their choice. Great service too. Will be back!

Yelp
Had some pre-dinner drinks at the Trailhead as we were staying at the Sun Lodge over the weekend! The bar area is very welcoming while the rest of the restaurant is very simple, and rustic. I had the Fig-Ure It Out which was a gin based drink with fig and olive oil. The olive oil was the ingredient that I was most intrigued and turned off by LOL. It wasn't a bad drink, but different for sure! I had a weird feeling in my stomach when I got there and I think the olive oil made it go away. After that I tried the Apples & Oranges which was bourbon based with cider -- very sweet but delish and perfect for fall! Next time I am in town, I'll be sure to order dinner!

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch/brunch on a gorgeous Saturday with some friends from out of town. Great friendly service from Tara who took extra care with my girlfriend's celiac restrictions. Excellent martinis and bloody marys hit the spot to start us off. I was craving a burger and it did not disappoint... cooked perfectly generously piled with bacon & awesome fresh hand cut fries. Also ordered were the omelette, chicken & waffles, and greens & seeds salad (and the pull apart bread as an appetizer). Everyone was more than happy with their meals. Fresh well prepared ingredients and good portions. We sat outside and of course is pretty right there at the base of Bromley. The inside looked nicely recently renovated and we'll be back soon to try out dinner. Great to have a solid new option just 10 minutes from town. (I will take more pics and add them next time!)

Yelp
The Sun Lodge got an overhaul and it's so good! We had a beautiful and delicious brunch on the deck at The Trailhead. Everything our group ordered was great (ample portions as well). Our server Tara was on her game -- welcoming, smart, professional, helpful -- and worked with the chef to offer numerous celiac-safe options for me (including a tasty made-to-order Bloody Mary). This was a great experience and we're excited to put it into regular brunch rotation and come back for dinner. (Also looks like a lovely place to stay!)
