Google
Driving through St Louis and wanted something good for dinner. Looked on Google and we d found this place. It is a very nice establishment in a very fun place, Union Station. Very clean and service was very good. The food was good, lots of garlic and parmesan. I would suggest the pork chop and the ravioli for starters. This place is definitely worth checking out.

Food was great and served hot. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was cozy with big booths for groups. The Braut burger was very good. Loved the German mustard. Kids had the Mac and cheese entree and said it was awesome. Wife got the flatbread and it was really good. Great flavor and crispy pizza crust. Great experience all around. Will be back.

Google
I absolutely love this place! I go year round, although they have the best Christmas pop ups! The food is insanely delicious. My favorites are the nachos, smash burger, and chicken tenders! The atmosphere is also amazing, you’ll even be able to see the light show! The staff has always been so friendly as well! I always cant wait to go back each time!

I had seen this on a social media post and wanted to see all the Christmas decorations for myself and we were at the Aquarium for a Homeschool event so I talked my daughter into checking it out. First and foremost the decorations are amazing and so beautiful so for that they got 5 stars for atmosphere. Then we were shown to a table and that's where our experience went downhill. They had plenty of staff because I had 10 minutes or better to watch other tables getting service that appeared to be topnotch. I finally flagged down the hostess and inquired if there wasn't a server for our table available and she said she was right on it. Again we sat and watched as servers tended all the other tables around us. Finally a waitress came up and apologized and took our order but by then I was pretty upset and my grandsons were complaining about being hungry. When our drinks came they sucked their chocolate milk dry and then didn't want to eat their food. The food was okay but the wait and hassle of dealing with 2 hungry children diminished the entire experience. Our waitress seemed very sweet but someone dropped the ball. Again the decorations are awesome but I was pretty disappointed by the rest of the restaurant experience.

This exclusive restaurant is ideal for large groups and non-vegetarians. There is a wide selection of non-vegetarian dishes, although the vegetarian options are more limited. However, they do offer gluten-free menu options and a few vegetarian dishes. The food was excellent, featuring creative dipping sauces for the nachos and flavorful fries, along with various imaginative food options. Our server was very kind and provided great service. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant not only for the food but also for the exceptional service. Additionally, the menu design was impressive, which adds to the overall experience. The atmosphere is very festive, with Christmas lights and music appearing as Thanksgiving approaches. While they may overdo the decorations, it contributes to the charm of the place, which deserves a five-star rating. Overall, I would give this restaurant five stars for its overall experience.

Google
Second year in a row at the Train Shed after it transformed into the holiday Sleigh Shed! I love how beautiful the space looks, it feels so festive. On to the food - it was good! The stuffed tater tots were my favorite by far. My friends really enjoyed their orders as well. Drinks were also delicious! The cocktail with the cookie crumble on top was so good! The servers were kind and helped us find a bathroom cause apparently there’s not one in there and late at night the whole building kinda shuts down.

Google
Great food. I had the wings and the trio flatbread (bacon, sausage, and pepperoni). Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and the food was brought out in a timely manner. Good variety in their drinks menu. No complaints.

Google
We started our vacation by eating here. The food is bland and overpriced for what you are getting. We got the spinach dip which was run of the mill. The burger had no flavor. The waffle fries were good but again nothing just amazing. It was very slow while we were there and our server seemed to have no real interest in what he was doing. Would not recommend. So many other places to grab a bite to eat.

Yelp
I came for the Christmas pop-up and was so impressed! The decorations were breathtaking and festive for the holiday season. The restaurant was very crowded, but we were seated right away. Our server was super friendly and attentive, despite having her hands full with several other tables. We noticed that all of the other tables around us were receiving their food much faster than us. After about an hour of waiting for the food, our server let us know that they had accidentally lost our order. We honestly didn't mind the wait because of the decorative ambience, friendly staff, and delicious drinks. Nevertheless, the manager finally brought our food out and offered us a free dessert or a discount on our bill. After finishing our meal, we were so full that we decided to take the reduced bill. To our surprise, they took a very generous amount off our final total. Totally not necessary, but I was very impressed at their gesture to go above and beyond! The food and drinks were absolutely fantastic. They had lots of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic seasonal drinks to choose from. Their spiked hot chocolate, made with Ghirardelli chocolate, was heavenly! I also highly recommend the macaroni and cheese. It's a huge portion and great quality. This is a great spot for family night, date night, or a night out with the girls!

Yelp
I was at Train Shed on a sunny Saturday for lunch, and my party of 6 (2 young children) didn't have any trouble getting seated. Service was very good, and people checked in on us periodically. They have a nice kids menu. The cheese pizza is a French bread pizza, so my picky eater ended up not touching it. (The grownups enjoyed it the next day as leftovers.) I really enjoyed the beet salad, which was a reasonable $9. I also ordered the mac & cheese ($21), which came with grilled chicken. The pasta was a corkscrew shape, which aforementioned picky eater enjoyed (phew!). I thought the chicken was on the dry side, but the flavor was pretty good. The cocktail list looked great! I didn't partake of it this time around, but looking forward to trying something next time.

Yelp
This restaurant is really odd for its location at the St. Louis Aquarium. Seems like it should be a more family friendly atmosphere. The hostess was bored and mute but wait staff was attentive. My drinking glass was filthy. Looking around they all looked this way. Lots of meat on the sandwich but saturated in Liquid Smoke . Still have the taste lingering in my mouth. It's nasty. Very very strong. Club sandwich is also not a club. Just two pieces of bread, all that smoky turkey, trace of bacon and one cheese slice with lettuce. I opted out of the red onion. The seasoned waffle fries were good. $15 Called the Train Shed but no decor or tie to its name or location. Nothing in this place makes sense.

Yelp
This was a Great Christmas Pop Up Bar!!! The Decor was very Festive and we loved it!!! This was also my mom's first time ever to something like this!!! I think we will make it a tradition We went early on a Thursday and there was still a 30 minute wait, but we lucked out and sat at the Bar.... We only ordered drinks and a dessert so it was perfect!!! The Mocktail Tea was good and refreshing and the Red Eye Santa Sleigh was strong but good. (Loved the cookie crumble on top) The Gooey Butter cake with the Raspberry drizzle was yum! If you go you MUST go early!!!!

Money F.

Yelp
I enjoyed my experience here! Most pop up bars lack decor or have all the decorations in one spot but this one was in full Christmas spirit! There's a sled out front with gifts, the doorway was decorated AND full ceiling decor. Our wait time for a table of 4 was 20minutes which wasn't bad. Average wait time for a first come, first served seating arrangement. Our drinks and the food was GREAT. I can't remember all the names of the drinks but we ordered the margherita pizza, broccolini pizza, and buffalo wings. I only took a star off because I was not aware that the restaurant validated parking. As a paying guest, the host or server should mention something about parking.

Shalaunte W.

Yelp
Sleigh Shed ...Beautiful Xmas pop up bar in Union Station. I absolutely loved it. No complaints whatsoever!!! Parking was reasonable at $6 for about a 2 hr visit not rushed. Found up close parking as well. Lot well lit upon entry. Felt very safe. No wait time. We went on a Tuesday at 5:30p. Beautifully decorated, colorful and cozy. Fire show was provided as well . Our waiter Dakota was very vibrant, attentive and comical. We loved everything about him. Give that guy a raise please. He stayed very professional and productive . Food was delicious. We ordered nachos, smash burger. Waffle fries, chicken Caesar salad, bruschetta, and a trio pizza . Omg the portion sizes can feed an army. Prices are reasonable. Seasonal drinks we tried were Santa's red eye fix and Three Kings. Very good and strong . Pricey but delicious. I really enjoyed myself!

Mary M.

Yelp
Descent bar food inside of the Union Station. We need to have a snack while waiting for friends and had the nachos, kids burger and a Old Fashion. Food was fine nothing too special. If you sit by the window, you can watch the fire show synchronized to music which happens every hour. Friendly service and cute decor. Great for kids- can you all out to the courtyard while waiting for food. Overall- the Union station is a pretty cool place and the Shed a great place to stop and eat. Be sure to check in on Yelp so you don't hav to wait too long for your table.

Kara B.

Yelp
Came for the sleigh shed pop up bad. The decor is nice with lots of Christmas decorations. The pop up bar drinks were delicious and service was great. Unfortunately the food fell very short. The deviled eggs were very vinegary almost to the point of difficulty eating them. The bruschetta also fell very short. My advice would be to go for Christmas drinks and enjoy the scenery. If you stop by the hostess stand they will validate your ticket for parking also!

Yelp
The pictures that I posted does this place no justice it's a very beautiful place from the moment you walk in. The wait staff was very friendly, the waiter me and my party had was attentive, he made sure to come back to our table to make sure what we needed if anything was available to us. He had only been there 2 days but with his service he gave I would have thought he had been there for a while. The drink I ordered was a hot cocoa, with chocolate liqueur and a toasted marshmallow on top. It was made to perfection, I also ordered an appetizer of nachos and for my dinner a smash burger with fries when the food came to our table I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size then I realized now how will I eat all of this food because it was plentiful, I had no business ordering an appetizer and a meal but they both were delicious. I am assuming this place is very busy on the weekend and I can totally understand why but per the website they ask you to tap the waitlist button but because we went on Tuesday we were able to walk right in without joining a wait list, there's plenty of these Christmas pop up bars in our surrounding area but I can say that I'm glad I chose this one, this one set the tone for how all pop up bars should be.

Yelp
I went back again for a business lunch with an out of town guest, and they loved this spot! The Train Shed was a great option for food choices, price, service, ambiance, and some wonderful STL flair! My guest really enjoyed the view from inside the restaurant and walking around a bit after to continue with a "walking business meeting." Plus it was great to see the fire show, koi pond, big wheel, trains, and see what's new at Union Station, which seems to be always getting better and better with attractions onsite. I had a salad, and he had the burger and waffle fries - both were delicious. Service was fast and good! I have to give it 5 stars for a weekday business meeting downtown, especially with an out of town guest. I loved showing them how great downtown STL is developing at Union Station!

Yelp
This is the Christmas pop-up review. The Train Shed becomes the Sleigh Shed during the holidays. This is always a St. Louis favorite Christmas popup! The Sleigh Shed is a festive spot for the holiday season, running from beginning November to the end of December. If you're not in the spirit, it's time you go. Nestled within the Train Shed restaurant, this pop-up cocktail experience offers a magical atmosphere adorned with the glitter and charm of the holidays. From traditional Christmas colors to dripping icicle lights, the venue is a visual feast with elaborate table and bar decor. The creative cocktails and holiday appetizers and desserts further enhance the experience. We were very impressed with the dietary restriction options. They had plenty of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Another great thing about this pop bar is that you're in Union Station. You could spend a week at Union Station, and not leave. There is so much to do. The aquarium, the wheel, Grand Hall, the ropes course...so much to do.

Mark M.

Yelp
Delicious food. Tried a pork steak for the first time and enjoyed it very much. Everything we ate had super flavor. Oh and don't miss these deviled eggs!! Bartender was top notch too. Food and service has been terrific so far this trip.

Stacey C.

Yelp
The Train Shed is a holiday pop up bar located in St. Louis. They offered a wide variety of Christmas cocktails including hot chocolate inspired cocktails and egg nog inspired cocktails! They also have a full menu including appetizers, pizzas, burgers/sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. My party and I sat at the bar today as the wait was long and it was very busy! Train Shed is decorated really nicely and was so festive! This place definitely got me into the Christmas spirit. I ordered the Three Kings cocktail which is a hot chocolate inspire cocktail with different chocolate liquors garnished with some roasted marshmallows. This cocktail had a deep chocolate flavor to it which was delicious. I ordered the chicken sandwich for dinner. The chicken breast was flavored well, but was small relative to the bun. The fries were crispy and tasted good. Overall, this was a nice way to kick off the Christmas season!

Amanda D.

Yelp
Went for holiday pop up and the cocktails were tasty but we were placed in the back corner in the side room, so it was chilly and the holiday theme/vibe wasn't as prominent. Next time I'd ask to sit at the bar! The 2 drinks we ordered were great and the pizza was good too. However, they were out of some of the ingredients for the pizza we ordered and didn't let us know, so we were a bit let down when it arrived and would have ordered something different had we know. Overall, 4/5... nothing to write home about but convenient if you're at union station.

Courtney S.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning decor. This place is amazing. I felt like I was in a winter wonderland. Then to make it better the food was AMAZING!! Every dish we had was awesome. Salad was great and full of texture. The drinks perfect amount of sweet and bitter. The Mac and cheese balls were perfectly seasoned and fried. The chicken wings were fried just how I like it with the flavor being amazing. The service was great, we sat at the bar and loved the bar tender. We were too full for dessert but we came back and had hot chocolate with butter cake. Quick note the butter cake is not southern so it tasted good but was not what I was expecting. More like a chess pie. The hot chocolate was super cute and delicious. Overall a great place to eat and enjoy a good time.

Erika L.

Yelp
Came during the holidays after a visit to the aquarium with two kiddos and 3 adults total. We loved the Christmas decor! We got seated quickly but our meals were slow to arrive, the adult meals came before the kids meals which can be hard to maneuver! Prices reasonable. Would come back, love the ambiance!

Cody M.

Yelp
This place is very modern and super clean. The device was very friendly. Their menu is super limited however and for a burger and fries was 18$ and frankly I don't think it's was worth that. The burger was good and the fries were good but the plate was small and the serving size was lack luster.

Deyna J.

Yelp
Came on a Friday night for the Sleigh Shed Christmas pop-up. We got there around 5:20ish and got on the waitlist. We were called at 7:15ish. The Christmas decorations were incredible, we were wondering how long it took to put everything up! The place was packed but the service was great. We order the Brussel Sprouts, a margarita and The Three Kings holiday drink to start. The Brussel sprouts were amazing and it was a big portion for an appetizer. The Three Kings hot chocolate drink was delicious. I could drink those all day. For the entree, I had the Chickpea Pasta and my boyfriend got the Turkey Club. The food was great! No complaints. We'll definitely be back next year!

Laurie K.

Yelp
The food was good. The smashed burger was huge and had 2 patties. I didn't expect that. I could eat all of my waffle fries. The Brussel sprouts were great!! They weren't greasy like you get at some places and had a great flavor. The Noel Nog drink was strong... but very tasty. But honestly... the decorations elevated the random work Christmas Party. Just beautiful!

Lynell L.

Yelp
Decided to walk around town since it was a nice day. While I was looking for one spot, I found this one. So glad I decided to stay for a moment, which turned into a beer, and lunch! The bartenders were courteous, and attentive. I had the chicken Cobb salad, which was delicious, and filling. All the staff personnel I spoke to were very friendly as well. Great place to stop at while in area!

Amanda M.

Yelp
This was my second trip to the Train/Sleigh Shed for their holiday pop up bar. Overall I enjoyed the cocktails more last year but the For Goodness Saké was definitely the highlight of the 4 cocktails I sampled. I really enjoyed the pizza and mac & cheese bites but didn't try the other items. While the food was good, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but I'd definitely recommend this as a place to stop if you are in the downtown area for the aquarium, or an event at Enterprise, etc. Solid service and parking lot is spacious.

Mandie B.

Yelp
I had a great time at the Train Shed when it was dressed for the holidays as the Sleigh Shed! The decor was super festive and the cocktails for the holiday were also fun and tasty! We went during the day on Christmas Eve and since we got there around 11:30 am, we were seated right away so the trick is to get there right when they open! Upon arriving, the hostess was able to get my family a table for the 4 of us and then Lindsey was our server and she was friendly and efficient. We ordered some hummus and a pizza to share at the table and then we each ordered a holiday cocktail. The BBQ chicken pizza was really good! It had a sweet heat to it that I couldn't quite stop eating. The hummus was also really good with all the sides (carrots, celery, olives, peppers, etc). It was such a nice time with good snacks and good drinks! I actually need to add this plans to my HH list close to campus since it's easy to get to and parking is easy to find.

Emily R.

Yelp
The atmosphere and decorations are really great during Christmas. For the crowd, wait time, and prices- I don't know that the food or drinks are worth it. It's not bad just expensive for what you get. We went on a Sunday at 11:00 and had an hour long wait. It was packed. (During Christmas time. Might be better when it's not Christmas season.)

Kimberly W.

Yelp
I came here for the Sleigh Shed pop up. For this event, they aren't doing reservations, so having read other reviews, we decided to stop by fairly early. We put our name in just after 3pm, and were seated at 4:25. When we sat down, there were over 50 parties on the waitlist. Go early. The drinks took about 15 minutes to arrive, though the charcuterie board arrived fairly soon after we ordered it. Maybe a bit pricey for the amount you get, but it was good. We tried the un-fig-getable, hococoa, and Santa's red eye from the themed cocktail list. Of those, the un-fig-getable was easily the best. As for the food, I had the chicken sandwich, while my companion had the country fried steak. Apparently, the Country Fried Steak was the right choice. The chicken, I wouldn't recommend. It was a low percentage choice, since it's grilled chicken (which a lot of restaurants do poorly), but even the fries weren't warm. It was still okay, but not great. It's very much a mixed bag, and you need to keep that in mind with your expectations. The drinks and decorations are probably a 5, but not having reservations and people having long waits drops that down. Had I not known that I needed to get there early to get a table, I probably would have ended up skipping the place after seeing the wait.

Ashley L.

Yelp
Great food! Great service! Beautiful decorations! Our server made sure we were on time for our polar express train ride. We had a shorter wait than initially quoted. Excellent experience overall!

Cassandra S.

Yelp
We called at 4PM and we're told no reservations were allowed but if we arrived at 6PM we can get it or be put on the waitlist. We live an hour away we arrived at 6PM and we're told they were not allowing anymore customers to be added to the waitlist - for reference they close at 9PM. The hostess was very rude and did not smile at all.

Laura P.

Yelp
Only giving 4 stars because I believe there is always room for improvement but in this case it's negligible. Stellar cocktails and service from Eric and Shinelle at the bar. Had a couple of old fashioned and a mule that were well worth the price. Ordered one Smash burger and one prosciutto pizza since we were undecided and shared - both were amazing although I would order the burger again in a heartbeat. Pizza was great - super crispy crust and delicious but the toppings were added unevenly and I would have liked more arugula as a topper after coming out of the oven. Overall highly recommended. Gorgeous bar with great service, good cocktails and delicious food.

Alexandria A.

Yelp
What a beautiful Christmas experience! I've been wanting to visit the Christmas pop up experience at the train shed for awhile now. It was beautifully decorated and definitely felt the Christmas spirit in there. It was definitely very busy inside, there was a 45 minute wait for just the two of us so I highly recommend making reservations. After we were seated it did take a little while for us to be waited on and took a while to get our drinks but the food came out pretty quickly. For appetizers we ordered the fried Mac and cheese bites. They were absolutely delicious, probably the best thing I ate all night. It came with this delicious dipping sauce, so good. We also ordered the deviled eggs. Very good, who doesn't like bacon on their deviled eggs. Yum! For entree we ordered the New York strip and the short rib. The short rib was great! Very tender and decadent, savory and delicious. We wanted dessert but the kitchen closes at 9. Definitely get there before then to enjoy the amazing food and drinks.

Caroline W.

Yelp
Finally was seated and able to eat. Last time we went was on a weekend during Christmas and was unable to get seated. The wait was 3 to 4 hours at popular times. This time we came on a Monday at 11 AM and was seated immediately. Wish we could have went when it was dark to see all the Christmas decor but it was still beautiful inside. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. Our food was great. Everything we ordered from mac & cheese, bites, stuffed tots, bruschetta, pork chop, margherita pizza, and the holiday ham meal was Great. No one in my group had any complaints about the food. Also had the gooey butter cake. I would give this place five stars for everything food, service and atmosphere.

Jessica I.

Yelp
For starters, the service here was amazing from start to finish!! These fries are just bangin and although we wanted ranch, the manager, Adam, made sure to get us the exact dipping sauce we NEEDED these bad boys. Ranch who?? Onto dessert... the second this cheesecake was sat on the table we knew it. It smelt absolutely delicious, which was just as amazing as its taste. *Shout out to the accommodations made for picky eaters and the suggestions given to make dinner with kids a success. 5 stars from our group ages from 5-30.

Eden B.

Yelp
Came here with some friends while it's "the Sleigh Shed", AKA holiday pop up. Only leaving a 3 star review because the food and drinks were amazing, along with the cute holiday decor! The service, however, was horrid. Our server started to ignore our table. The amount of times he walked by while we were trying to wave him down just to get us water was ridiculous. He also asked us what our drink orders were 3 times. It seemed he was upset that we were there past closing, but to be fair, we would have been out of there sooner if he didn't take 20 minutes to put in a drink order.

Mel R.

Yelp
Great service & really decorated for Christmas! Burger was good & waffle fries had a little kick to them! Next time we'll try the toasted ravs.

Erica L.

Yelp
The chorizo nachos make my mouth water every time I think about them. The nachos are full of flavor and spices and omg...they are just so good!

Chris W.

Yelp
I had the BBQ Chicken pizza when I went which was pretty good, but they do not have Ranch dressing there. Say whaaaat. They also did not have Dr. Pepper and also use paper straws (not a fan). The wait for a table of 8 was almost 2 1/2 hours. Overall though not great but also not terrible by any means, 3 Stars.

Ashley K.

Yelp
Service was great, environment was spectacular, a perfect Christmas interior to enjoy dinner and a holiday drink. My favorite was for sure the Santa's Red-Eye Fix (espresso martini drink)! Would definitely go again.

Veronica S.

Yelp
The ambiance was amazing! Loved the Christmas pop up. Service was quick and food was fast. We went on a Wednesday night and the wait was about 10-15min- no reservations. Cute drinks, food was delish. Highly recommend

Dominica D.

Yelp
The ambiance was so cool! It felt like being placed in a classy train station. There was a huge table in the middle, booths and tables. Also there was patio seating but there was a wait for patio seating. We sat in the restaurant but they had huge garage doors open so it still felt like we were outside. The fire show in the square is visible too. The restaurant is connected to the building the St. Louis aquarium is in as well. The chicken sandwich was delicious and was full of flavoring. The chicken was tender and not dry at all, perfectly cooked. However it wasn't something I would want to come back for. The beet salad had great flavor and was good! This isn't a place I would have to come back to but it was tasty! The service was not amazing though. Our waitress was not super friendly and took a long time to get us our check. The manager checked on us while we were eating which was kind though. So again nothing that really made this restaurant stick out.

Jenn D.

Yelp
Terrible food, terrible service. Got the worst case of food poisoning I have ever had after eating there.

Monica M.

Yelp
While I haven't had the opportunity to try the food, this is the newest and best holiday bar in STL. If you've ever been to Rolphs Christmas bar in NYC, then this is a close second in STL!!!! Gorgeous decorations around the holidays. The holiday cocktail list is creative and delicious. Unfortunately the waitlist is long to get in and we were only able to hang out at the bar. Well worth it! The bartenders were fantastic and friendly. The inside is modern and clean. Looking forward to trying the food!

CW L.

Yelp
My nieces wanted to try something new and downtown so I googled places to eat in St Louis. The Train Shed came up as a top 3 result so we tried it. It was located in the union station area near the aquarium. The place was nice and a somewhat fancy atmosphere. The food was good but not much Wow based on the prices. I had the Pork Chop which was tender and flavorful. My nieces and wife had different sandwiches. The sandwiches came with the most amazingly flavorful waffle fries. We would come again for the waffle fries.

Breanna G.

Yelp
Food was amazing! I dined here twice during my stay. I had the Smash Burger and Nachos. Both were tasty!

Hannah J.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying our Server was great and restaurant was beautifully decorated. I just think there are better christmas bars in town that are WAY cheaper in both departments (food and drinks). I also dont understand why they dont take reservations. You will wait hours to get in which is what we had to do since this seemed to be the ONLY place that allowed children. Just overpriced in my opinion. Didnt love anything.

Vivian S.

Yelp
The wait was reasonable and the food was fantastic!!!!!! The setting is calm. Quite a few people fill in as soon as it opens so go quick. I got the smash burger and it was great though I would've like more sauce on it. All in all, it was very good!

Audrey B.

Yelp
Came on a Tuesday evening for the sleigh shed theme. Pretty bizarre experience. Party of 5, we were told 45 mins to an hour wait. We waited 2 hours. It was one of those things where we already waited that long we figured we'd have to get a table soon. We were seated, but apparently they heard 4 instead of 5 and said we'd have to start over on the wait. We said no way, just pull up a chair. They said they were not allowed to do that despite there being LOTS of chairs available and in fact, the table next to us pushed away their chair since someone was in a wheelchair, and I'm sure would have let us take it. We said okay....so move us to a different table (as there were LOTS of empty tables) but were told no. So my partner and I shared a chair and lots of people stared at us. When the server came over she asked why we were sharing a chair and we told her the tale. She said it was correct that they weren't allowed to move chairs, but could seat us at a different table. Once that happened, it took a very long time for everything else. Clearly they were short staffed, so we understood, but things happened with weird timing. 3/5 drinks came quickly, the other 2 after a while longer. They said no modifications could be made to drinks because they were all premade and just poured into the cups. Food came out for everyone but one person, so they had to put the order in again. They offered to bring out a comped drink for her, but she hadn't even received her first drink. The server said sorry the bar is really backed up (with pouring premade drinks???). So she got her first drink, then got her food, then she got her comped drink except it was not the right drink (had something in it she was allergic to) and had to send it back. Awkward. Another weird thing was while I was ordering, a GIANT beetle crawled up my leg and I shrieked and told the server. The server joked that I brought the bug into the restaurant with me. Now....we had been sitting indoors waiting for our table for 2 hours so unless that beetle was sitting calmly on my foot until that very moment, I don't think I brought it in with me. Staff was not warm and welcoming as you'd expect from a Christmas themed restaurant. Some of them seemed scared to be there. It made me worry for them. We also got a lot of attitude from some staff. I will say the decor was pretty cool. It was like Santa threw up all over the ceiling. On the food: Pizza was good. Bruchetta tasted stale. It was rock hard. Definitely overpriced. Drinks were fine. But also overpriced for being premade

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch on a dead Thursday afternoon and out waiter was Tim. He was slow and inattentive and not very customer service oriented. I don't know if he was also the cook but he was never on the floor and we were the only table in his area. We ordered the charcuterie board which Tim assured was, " the best charcuterie board around". It might be true in St Louis but that's about it. The bread was super hard. Like a stale crouton and stabbed a place in my gum when I was chewing. When I was able to catch him to ask for uncooked bread he looked at me like I had 2 heads and said that he didn't think that was possible. I showed him how hard the bread was by tapping it on the table and he snapped at me that, "it's supposed to be that way". I think at that point he saw the disappointment on my face and his demeanor did soften and he said that he would see what he could do. He brought back onion naan bread which was at least soft. The rest of the board is pretty good. It had prosciutto and 2 kinds of salami and some nice cheese including brie which I don't often see. I also ordered the prosciutto and balsamic pizza. It was really good and the crust was almost perfect. I was pleasantly surprised. Hubby had the chicken salad with ranch and said it was pretty good. Really this is probably the best place at Union Station IMO. Just try to not get sat in Tim's section.

Yelp
This is a good restaurant, with great service, and solid food. Nice interior. Spacious and spread out layout, located in Union station. It is kid friendly and has kids meals. Really friendly and helpful staff. There is an outdoor patio next to the koi pond. Food: Margeta pizza- fine House salad- good solid real food Pretzel bites- fine, not what I was expecting but not in a bad way Hummus- good solid real food Ants on apple- good I didn't notice until after I ordered that they did have a vegan & gluten free pasta dish that sounded good. I was happy with our order and would order the same thing from here again! We ate a lot of junk food on our trip to STL and it was nice to have real food.

Yelp
Had a chance to stop in for the Christmas festivities at the Train Shed and it was worth the experience. So far I've tried the Sleigh all day and tinsel toddy. The sleigh all day wasn't bad, it was a it strong for my liking but I'd try it again. The real win was the broccolini pizza and assign the chicken was the right touch. I'd definitely try this again and it was super filling. Had leftovers for two days.

Yelp
Located inside the St. Louis Union Station. I was super excited about Train Shed turning into "Sleigh Shed" (Christmas theme), so my friend and I went around 5:30pm to beat the crowd. We definitely beat the crowd and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. However..... it was our worst restaurant experience of 2022. Beating the crowd meant nothing! If I wrote this review the day I actually went, I would've gave them 1 star, but I've calmed down a lot since Friday. We ordered our drinks from their Christmas "Sleigh Shed Menu" and didn't get our drinks for 1 Hour and 50 Minutes. Literally! Not overexaggerating with this.... I checked the times of when I took the photos inside the restaurant, which was right when we ordered our drinks...it was almost 2 hours. I feel like management could've taken care of it better. I worked in a restaurant for 12 years, so I am usually patient with this kind of stuff if they had a good reason. This wasn't our servers mistake, this was management. I saw the server talk to the manager multiple times to get this issue resolved because she DID put in our drink order. We got excuses like "the bar is backed up and they do not have enough bartenders" okay! That is understandable! Right?... but why are tables that came in "after" us getting their 2nd round of drinks?. I also found out a lot of "INFLUENCERS" came in that day, but that's still not a good enough excuse because we came in way before them, too. I just didn't understand the issue! Our plan was to stay for an hour and order 2-3 drinks with a light meal, but that obviously didn't happen. We ended up being there for 3 hours for no good reason and ended up paying more for parking, too. Ugh! I still gave this place 3 stars instead of 1 because the food was decent and drinks when we "finally" got it was delicious.

Yelp
Love this place! I have been a few times now and it has been a great experience every time! The food is great and the cocktails are yummy. It's a great place to take the fam after going to the aquarium or a night out with your friends, and after you can go round and round on the ferris wheel! Insider tip: They validate parking!!
