Where To Take The Plant Person In Your Life

"For coffee lovers who are in the market for a sexy new snake plant Seeing as caffeine and actually keeping plants alive are the true markers of adulthood in the 21st century, this café’s concept is a real winner. Some might call it a plant shop with a coffee counter. Others might call it a coffee shop with some added classic swiss cheese plants for sale. We call it genius. As well as the great selection of plants, you can get a long black for as little as £2.50 and they have a changing array of sweet pastries. Find them on Westminster Bridge Road in Waterloo and know that the coffee genuinely is great. " - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak

The Travel Café Review - Waterloo - London - The Infatuation

"If you are a simple creature who believes that tasteful foliage and coffee is the source of eternal happiness, then you’ll like Travel Café. A plant shop with a coffee window in the back corner, they’ve got you covered with all the caffeine classics. We’re talking cortados, caramel lattes, flat whites, and long blacks that start around £2.50. Not only does this place have a little room out back where you can get some work done, it’s also a certified saviour to anyone on their lunch break who fancies a coffee but also needs to find a present and cute card for their aunt’s birthday. Look out for their changing array of daily pastries and sweet treats too." - Heidi Lauth Beasley

Thanks Heyoung for a lovely terrarium making experience. So pleased with my creation and looking forward to seeing it evolve. The travel cafe is full of beautiful plants and has a lovely calm feel. A well spent couple of hours.. it was so easy to forget it was the hottest day of the year.

Very quaint grab and go cafe with lots of plants and cosy atmosphere. The coffee is very nice Ozone coffee. I truly enjoyed my latte, and loved browsing the plants inside the store while waiting for the barista to make my drink. Unfortunately there is no options to sit inside, I believe this changed after Covid and is now a take out cafe. I would have loved to see some designs on the cup-sleeve to put it to the next level. This is not a negative, but a kind suggestion.

I was just passing by but couldn’t resist to enter ;-)) Loved the plants, loved the air inside and calm, peaceful music, tone of the voice of the sale assistant ;-))

Cute hip little cafe, very stylish with lovely staff and tasty food. Not suuper cheap but perfectly worth it. Also cater for vegan and gluten free.

The cafe looks nice from the outside and also very attractive on the inside, due to the plants and flowers, which are for sale. Despite the name, the cafe is clearly an add on though given the erratic opening hours. Weirdly they close at 4pm most days and at 2pm on a weekend. Frustrating and off putting so we won't be attempting to visit again. There are plenty of very decent cafes on Lower Marsh just across the road. We took our business to one of these independents - one of which serves award winning coffee.

Rented the back room private meeting space and it was great! TV with HDMI to cast contents from laptop, staff were super friendly. Drinks included were fantastic, especially the lattes. The cafe itself (front end) is now more of a plant store.

Yelp
Very neat and tidy cafe, in a not very favourable location behind Waterloo. Coffee, on sampling, was fully "meh"- non-descript, as though a film prop for real coffee. Not actually bad, but had I been drinking it with my eyes closed I might not have been able to definitely say what it was. The menu , although unsampled on my visit, looks interesting, with Asian and Italian elements, courtesy of a pop-up kitchen.

Yelp
Very limited seating but I liked the quotes about traveling, the cards, and the plants. My latte was good.

Yelp
Very nice little cafe! Perfect if you want a quick coffee and they sell the plants they use to decorate with, which is a nice touch. If I was just going for that, it would be 4 star. HOWEVER, after reading online about it and seeing lots of pictures of their lovely-looking breakfast, I was extremely let down to arrive on 10am on a Saturday to find they weren't doing breakfast AT ALL! Very disappointing considering I'd promised my hungover friend brunch. We then had to wait 30mins for them to bring out pastries, which were £2 a pop and coffee already half drank. It should definitely be made clearer when they are serving food and what times on their website. To not have food on a Saturday morning in central London just smacks of deciding that morning that the chef wasn't going to work. Even an apology or explanation to why would have been helpful. Also, it would be great if the Facebook page was in English as well as its current language.

Yelp
Great Monmouth Coffee! I always keen to visit this cute cafe for a perfect flat white whenever I am in the area.
