My friends and I met up here for the first time in 2 years due to COVID for a wedding weekend. Jillian was our server, and she was the absolute worst. I was so embarrassed for my friends sake who were visiting from NYC, California, and Italy. This was such a horrific Cleveland experience for them. Jillian told us we could not order food or anymore drinks because she had another party coming 40 minutes later, and made blatant facial gestures (eye rolling, etc.) towards our party.
One of our friends does not speak English well, and Jillian was rude and condescending to her when our friend asked what a quesadilla was. This same friend wanted to order food, and Jillian threw a fit when our friend ordered. We assured Jillian that we'd be taking the food home and it wouldn't interfere with the alleged reservation...Jillian then held onto the take out food until we left to ensure that my friend didn't eat on the prior.
Jillian does not foster a positive work environment, and we will never return to this establishment as long as she works there.
After the 40 minutes was up, she LITERALLY (I wish I was kidding) grabbed the credit card from our table to close out our tab. So we left and went on with our evening, and to our surprise, there was no large party waiting, which led us to believe it was all a lie.
I'm sorry that we made you work, Jillian. Here's a tip, if you are nice to your customers, or heck, just don't roll your eyes at them, you'll make a much better living for yourself.
