The Triple Door

My team from work actually went to the show on 10/24/25 as a team outing haha. It was so much fun! The show was really entertaining and the actors were very talented. Oogie Boogie was my favorite! The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the food could have been better. The pork kebab was really good but the BBQ ribs were not great. Their french fries are good though! Rice was mid. I didn't drink but I heard they were good. Overall though, totally worth the experience. A little spendy but the company was paying for it haha. $275 for 4 adults. 1 appetizer, 4 entrees, 4 alcoholic drinks, 4 sodas, 4 gelatos for dessert.

I had not gone to triple door for many years, I used to go pretty often. This time I went for the Debbie Gibson concert, a bit of nostalgia, and took one of the suite boxes upstairs. I usually recommend this more for parties since you are listening to the music through speakers and seeing the view through glass and from far away. First let me get my complaints out of the way: They used to offer the entire Wild Ginger kitchen and wine list to the suite but that no longer appears to be the case. The lighting and controls are not well designed. Some lighting allowing customers to see the food they are eating would be nice, but it's kind of all on or all off. Offering customers self control over speaker volume would be nice. A button to request service would also be nice and would minimize interruptions during the shows. The windows should be cleaned regularly. The view and photos depend on clean windows. But I love the venue, the programming, and the suites. The food is good. It's a nice vibe especially when they get back to their burlesque or folk roots. Triple Door is relatively unique in the Seattle scene and deserves support. The staff are super cool and very friendly, which is increasingly difficult to find.

We chose The Triple Door for dinner and a live music show to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a great pick. Over the Rhine were good entertainment, the food was very good, and our fabulous waiter, Ben, recommended the Indonesian Beef (short ribs). Wow. Excellent. I’m extremely picky with beef short ribs, and this instantly jumped to my #2 spot in 25 years of dining! Ben also surprised me at the end — he found a small candle, lit it, and brought out my strawberry sorbet with the candle on top and a “happy birthday.” Such a sweet touch and a special moment… of course right after enjoying my husband’s company! Thank you, Ben, for making the evening even better. Highly recommend The Triple Door for a fun night out.

The show was fantastic! I saw This Is Halloween and all the actors were phenomenal and such great singers. They put together a really grew crew for this production! Would come back here for another show for sure.

I am guessing that most people go for the entertainment on the main stage. When you first walk in, there is a large lounge area with live music, bar and menu with appetizers as well as more substantial food. On this visit, there were 32 of us. We had yummy appetizers, first, and Then proceeded to the show area where there are round booths for 4 people, regular tables and par seating. All require reasonably priced reservations. We ordered dinner at our booth. The menu was very limited and honestly, nothing on there that sounded good to either my date or me. So we disappointedly just ordered pot stickers. The stage was nice and the band was great. All thirty two of us seemed to have had a wonderful time overall.

The ambience and experience at Triple door was really majestic. I loved my time here. Also loved the May event - Seattle Vice. I enjoyed the event and it delved into Seattle's past and some of its dark history. As for the place the theater is located underground and the top floor has great dining and bar seating. However the drinks that I tried was kind of average. I came with an old friend here. The food was very good. Really enjoyed the experience dining here. The same goes with dessert. I liked coconut sago although it is not that sweet. The chocolate mousse on the other hand will be too sweet. The Indian Cauliflower color was very good. I loved it. The menu is largely Thai except some Indian and a mix of options. As for the experience and customer service, it wasn't the best. My friend was refused the drink for no apparent reason. Apparently the server there and she has some history but this is something which should not have been reflected professionally. We were just enjoying the food and show. I must say in return they complemented the dessert which we can see but refusal of service was enough to spoil the mood. As a tip, we just tipped off the complimented item. I loved the venue but it's better the people working here wouldn't bring their personal anecdotes to work. Specially when everything was calm and composed.

This place is really nice. It's set up for dinner and a show. So it's all seated. All areas have great views. Food is high end, I'll have to try next time as I ate before. The sound system is really good. Beautiful show! I'll be back for sure.

Great intimate theater. The company putting on the show was amazing. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Food menu was pretty expansive for the small theature setting and amazing. Definitely will see shows here in future.

Came here to listen to my wife's favorite podcaster do a live show. There is a parking garage next door, so it was easy to get to this place. Overall cool, trendy, hip vibe. The room was dark, but that was because it was set up for a show. We got a reserved table near the stage. When we arrived, the nice server took our drink order. I also opted to get a dessert as we had eaten before we came to the show. Super friendly staff, nice location, cool ambiance, and decent food/drink options.

We saw Curtis Salgado here tonight and what an amazing experience. It was my first time at this venue and what a treat - right off the highway, parking garage right next door, as others have said not a bad seat in the house, intimate setting, great service. We sat right in the front row- the stages lip doubles as a counter wraparound before booth seating starts. We were up close and personal - I do think even for my early 30s maybe I should have worn ear protection but whatever. I didn't get food but the food near me smelled great. Drink service was quick, with the tab even coming with 2 songs left in the set - setting us up perfect to leave after. Recommend highly for live music

We've stopped in a couple times in the last few months for concerts. There is no bad seat! We heard some great music, but the food definitely added to the experience. My go-to has been the cabbage salad + chicken. Very flavorful, fresh, and filling. I would order this again and again. We tried the fries (always good), the green beans (nice & crispy) and the tapioca pudding (incredible!).

THE NUTCRACKER? This show has little or nothing to do with Tchaikovsky's masterpiece of the holiday season. The music is live and original except for one brief section with a faint nod to The Nutcracker music. Parents, don't bring your children, This is a burlesque show with scantily dressed men and women dancing around the stage in an exhibition of masterbatory exercise of uninspired choreography.

This is the most underrated venue in Seattle -- there, I said it. There's hardly a bad seat in the house. And they serve you dinner and drinks while you watch a show?! Okay, sign me up! I've been here a couple of times over the years, but most recently to see Ron Pope in late Feb. We scored two bar top seats off to the left of the stage at $30-$35 each. The Triple Door website said these have a partially obstructed view, and they're right! While you're close to the stage, because you're so far off to the side, you miss what's hiding around the corner during the performance. That said, you're so up close and personal with the band that you can hear the instruments without the speakers -- incredible. Dinner and drinks service was prompt and informative. For food, we ordered the sichuan green beans (I don't like green beans and holy cow these were so good!), the thai mushroom satay (also so fab!) and the monk's curry (really solid). Legit think a place like this could get away with serving food that's just okay (since it's so beautiful!) but we were blown away by how good the food is. In all, highly recommend the Triple Door for a show, though if we had to do it all over again, we'd pick seats that show a more head-on view of the stage (we were limited to what was available when we bought.) Came here for the Bohemia show! The staffs were super friendly. Our server was also nice and efficient. Food was overall good. The Singapore beef satay was delicious. The ambiance was interesting with the show and all the lights. We were sitting at the front row so we enjoyed the show up close. There was also a lounge that you can drink before the show, and a Photo Booth that you can take pictures at. Overall good experience. I parked at the 2nd and Union garage next to it. Paid $12 for parking for the duration of the show.

As a music venue, 5 stars! The food is still a problem. 4 potstickers for $15? We like the cabbage salad, great flavor. Splitting it is an issue because they never bring any utensils to split it with. We had to wait quite awhile to start eating. Last time we got chicken in it, but they were such small pieces, not much there. So this time we got shrimp. 4 shrimp on top of the salad with no seasoning or sauce. I think we're going to start eating elsewhere and just enjoy the music.

Living in Seattle a long time, finally had the chance to try the triple door for the burlesque winter nutcracker show. It's cute, cozy seating. You can't go wrong with any of the seats, it'll be an experience whether you're at the table or booth. The show was cute, a mix of amateur and professional. The service was mediocre and the food was mediocre abs lukewarm. For four people with a couple of drinks and one entree each, it came out to nearly $400. I would strong recommend eating elsewhere. That way, the cute experience of a local show doesn't seem terribly overpriced.

I haven't been here in a while and was surprised at how comfortable it was in the downstairs area! Every table is perfectly positioned to see the stage with great sound from wherever you sit. We were near the back and still had a great view. Service was good but not great. One of our group ordered a bourbon and soda and it was found they didn't have the bourbon she requested and had to clarify another option with her. However, this meant her drink got delayed an extra 20 minutes after everyone else already had their drinks dropped by. It wasn't until we flagged down the server to ask what was going on that they said the change in bourbon resulted in the delay and it should be out shortly. I don't see why that would cause such a massive delay or why the server couldn't communicate that earlier on. Food was good, but nothing to really write home about. With so many other fantastic spots nearby, I would forgo dinner here and just enjoy drinks and apps along with the music.

I love The Triple Door. Great venue thY always has some amazing LGBTQIA as well as BIPOC events. I've seen three events there, and they have all been great. Staff has always been friendly and welcoming, though they do have a habit of walking in front of you mid act. The only thing keeping me from.5 stars is the average quality of the food. It not great but not bad. The dessert is the best option on the menu. The drinks are also weak for the cost. Very little alcohol mostly mixer.

The service in the bar at first was marginal. Food took forever. And was OK. Then we went to the venue. dinner tasted like they opened a can of dint y more stew. Then the salad they brought me was great. Would have been better with a fork. Then toward the end of the evening the waitress accused one of our party of inappropriate touch which he had to touch her shoulder. To get her attention to make sure she got the tip from our bill. Then got escorted out by 3 goons. So not happy with them. He did not touch inappropriately. Unbelievable. Sorry Monkey on a string. Great band. Total BS with the venue.

WOW! Love this venue! Dinner, drinks and a show? Yes, please! The lighting is so soft and subtle. Before coming here, I read the Yelp reviews and the main thing that I learned was that the service sort of sucks. So I was prepared for that. However, that was not the case at all! Excellent service! No complaints! My husband and I shared the beef satay and steak fries. I absolutely recommend them both!! I'm really looking forward to coming back!

Tonight was my first ever visit to The Triple Door. I saw Los Lobos and sat in the 3rd "row" center. Every seat here is a good seat. If you want more comfort, bring a group and choose a booth. If you want to be close to the stage, there are hard chairs and bar-like seating with a narrow "table" in front of you. I can't speak for the entrees but I did have two of the night's special cocktails in honor of the band (delicious) and a coconut sago pudding for dessert off of the regular menu. I enjoyed the dessert but some might have found it a little too sweet. If I remember correctly, the sago came with a fennel infused pandan sauce. It was good but I couldn't really taste the fennel, which in my opinion was a good thing. Even though this intimate venue, with its multiple levels of booths and bar seating, is nicer than most concert venues I've been to in Seattle, I noticed that the crowd was casual. You can get dressed up if you want, but I saw a lot of plaid shirts, tees, and flannel. Then again, maybe it's because of Los Lobos (which, btdubs, ROCKED IT ALL THE WAY OUT). Acoustics were awesome. The music was loud but not so loud that I couldn't hear anything when I left the venue. The only drawback for me was that it was a little tight to get up and dance. If you want to do that, choose a row at the wall or on a corner of the front row so you can get up near the exits and not block anyone's view. You have to walk down a level to get to the theater and the bathrooms are down another level. I didn't see any elevators and it is a smaller space, so I wouldn't count on easy accessibility if you have issues with mobility. I did see a couple "box seats,", which are behind glass on the first level and separate from the venue below, but there is still a slope to get to them. However, for a band like Los Lobos, I wouldn't want to sit that far away from the crowd (which was fantastic) or the music. This is the closest you will be to your favorite bands than most venues, so take advantage of it! Finally, pro tip: park in the garage around right next to The Triple Door / around the corner. It was only $12 to park. Take your ticket with you because you need the QR code to access the elevator. If you pay for parking in advance using the QR code, exiting out of the garage is fast and easy.

The triple door is a classic historic Seattle theater with amazing seats and views where every seat is a good one. The acoustics are amazing. The menu of food and drink variety are really set up to Serve everyone with all dietary needs including vegetarian and vegan options. There is a super close 2 minute walk parking garage around the corner from the theater and a nice lounge outside of the theater where you might be able to catch local music or great indie tunes before the show

Great for special occasions with family and friends. The food and drinks they serve are okay. Nothing special. One inconvenience is that..if you want to sit in a booth for comfort, a better view, and PRIVACY, you have to pay for the whole booth. Otherwise you will be sharing a booth with other people.

I love the triple door! Great music and shows. I love the public theater burlesque shows best. Tonight we saw Twin Peeps, which was of course hilarious and sometimes quite sexy. I'm not a huge fan of the food. It's kind of bland. I always have better luck with the appetizers than the entrees. I always have a great time at this venue!

I have been to shows twice here lately I can't say enough about this venue. It's wonderful! I haven't eaten here, but I've had some NA drinks. Great seating, great bar to hang out in and wait for the theater to open, wonderful staff. Two thumbs way up!

This is a great venue! There really aren't any terrible seats; the counter seats closest to the stage are great for a solo performer, but maybe not for an ensemble or their burlesque shows. Surprisingly, given the rush on show night, the food quality is excellent and so are the cocktails. The house specialties are well-thought out and well-executed, even if they're a bit silly (I'm talking about you, Cherry Pie!) Resist the impulse to eat somewhere before the show, and get there early and enjoy the menu - and, the show!

This show was hilarious and a great time. We didn't eat as we are vegan but the drinks were pretty good, although small, and the party didn't stop. It was just a sexy, sleek, lot of fun, an amazing performance. If you're looking for a unique adventure, this is the thing to do.

We are frequent customers of Triple Door and love to go to see the different musicans and enjoy a nice meal. Our experience this time with the artist Andrew Duhon was fantastic but the food was horrible. Our waitress had a group of at least 12 seated at 4 different tables up in the front section plus all of the other front booths, one which we sat at, and the counter at the stage. When our appetizer of potstickers were served by a different server she just slid the dish on the table and left. We did not have any individual side dishes to serve ourselves and it took almost 10 minutes to get someone's attention. When our dinner arrived: vegan Phad Thai, spare ribs, pork dish and curry dish the dishes we barely warm as if they had been sitting for quite sometime before delivered to our table. The Phad Thai had maybe 3 bites of Tofu and the spice level was much higher than I have ever tasted before at the Triple Door. It would be great to offer different spice levels. In the future we willl most likely eat elsewhere and then come for the music.

This is a cool spot for shows! We've been here before for the burlesque Nutcracker. Last week, we were here for the Michael Yo comedy show. We didn't get to try their food since it's a late show. We'd love to try their food next time! Overall, it's a cool venue and the service is good.

First time at this venue....I thought it was pretty nice. I liked how the seats are staggered so everyone can see from any angle. The line to get inside and sit down was long but moved through quickly. Once seated, we were able to order some and drinks and food after a bit of a wait but everything came out in a timely fashion. The cracked coconut was my favorite. I also tried the chicken satay which was delicious. The pickled cucumber side was the BOMB! I wanted just a plate of that The show was great, we enjoyed a burlesque show, J'Adore. Overall, very happy with this experience.

Great venue! Always happy with my experience here. Eclectic and fun diversity with performances, and the food/service is great! Good menu. I definitely recommend bottles of wine over cocktails. The bar gets so backed up due to the volume of drink orders, it just doesn't make sense to order cocktails. You'll get much faster service with a bottle of wine. Kitchen is pretty quick!

We went to opening night of This is Halloween. What a good time! We enjoyed the show, drinks, and Asian food. The venue is unique & we loved having the performers out mingling in the audience at times. Ben, our server, took good care of us and service was timely. After the show, several of the performers were at the exit thanking guests for attending.

I'm basing this review solely on the entertainment & service. The food was a huge disappointment which was a bummer for the price. I thought they had the same food as a connecting restaurant but maybe it's completely different. I know the theatre is a large place and they probably have to cook a bunch of meals at once to accommodate but it wasn't the best. I had the beef rendang and it looked like mush and had a weird texture. My husband got the ribs and those were decent. The green beans were the best on the menu. We went to the inside bar before dinner and the show and they had live music which was fantastic. Great spot for a date or for some lively entertainment. The show was called Bohemia. The cast was great and very entertaining and interactive during the intermission. The service was great too. Only reason for a 4 star is the food. Overall wonderful and a great time for an affordable night out to watch a show. There is really no bad seat in the house. Highly recommend for the shows!

This theater was absolutely beautiful inside. I loved that they had full-size tables with the comfort of guests in mind instead of just packing people in with minimal room. We were seated, and our waitress was over to immediately take our order. She was very attentive to us while waiting on so many other tables. The food was absolutely delicious as well. This was my first time at a theater that served food, and it was awesome!

I have seen multiple shows here -- jazz pianists, guitarists, dance performers, and bands. This place is such a gem to offer talented performers a venue while providing guests comfortable seating, access to food and drinks, and wonderful spacious layout. Very classy and relaxing vibe for a nice night out :) my favorite! Thank you~

What a treat! Bohemia is a must see. Service, food and drinks were all impeccable. Glad to know there are still places like this. The band and ambiance in the separate, front lounge were also fantastic!

We saw a podcast show here last night and we loved it here. We were in a suite so the awesome bartender Jack took care of our group. He was great and got us drinks, checked on us without being obtrusive. We were able to hear and see the stage, if you want to be in the action I'd suggest not a suite but we enjoyed it,

Came here solo a couple of nights ago for a live show by one of my favorite podcaster duos, Every Outfit. I arrived about a half hour before show starting time and the entire check-in/registration process at the Maitre 'd stand was smooth and easy. Check-in was via my last name and I didn't even have to pull up my e-ticket, which I had saved to my wallet just in case. They have done a really good job of streamlining this process for quickly getting folks into their seats. They gave me a tag with my seat number so I could show it to the usher inside- another way to make it super easy to get to my seat. I haven't been to Triple Door for a show in a while, maybe a solid decade plus or so and I forgot how much I love the concept of being served food and drinks while being entertained. It is Wild Ginger's menu, the fusion Asian restaurant next door. Even though Wild Ginger was the hot ticket in the late '90s (in fact, my ex-husband saved his pennies to take me for a romantic, splurge dinner there when we were first dating as college students), I don't remember being wowed by the food the last time. Well I take all that back because the Singapore Beef Satay I ordered (6 skewers for $18) was sublime. Moist, juicy, flavorful they were like very well cooked steak bites. I didn't realize until later when I paid the check that it was wagyu beef- yum! Menu description: Marinated in turmeric, cumin, coriander and garlic. Skewered and grilled and comes with a rice cake, pickled cucumbers and a peanut dipping sauce. I also ordered 2 glasses of their featured pour, a Sparking Gruet Brut Rosé; $13 per glass: "With roots in Champagne, this family owned New Mexico winery is a unique and distinctly American success. From an experimental vineyard planted in 1983 to the twilight of our dark theater, it's toast ready & pure thirst-quenching goodness". I mean who can resist that story?? Our server was great & on top of everything, super friendly and unobtrusive (which I get that they have to be, serving during a show). The only snafu was when the first round of drinks were delivered to me and the person seated next to me but it was by a different server (I think he was the bar runner) and he made a comment about he had forgotten to bring my drink but then never returned with it. I had to let the server know on her next pass through and she apologized profusely and seemed upset on my behalf which I appreciated. First world problems I know. All in all, a great evening- Gorgeous weather getting to/from the venue, good show, delicious food, refreshing drink, and good company/conversation by way of the friendly young man seated next to me in the back countertop section, one of the few remaining locations where I could buy a single seat.

Really frustrating dealing w them. Bought tickets to a show a while back that got cancelled. However, this place doesn't offer refunds, which is fucking ridiculous. And frankly, their shows don't interest me as a whole. The opener let me know months later when she was booked again, but my seating arrangement wasn't available, nor could I really get a view of the replacements I was given. Also, Wild Ginger is over-rated in my opinion. The venue is fine, but this place sucks to deal with over all. I'm not interested in coming here ever again and the customer service lacks.

Incredibly fun experience. Loved the show, food was better than expected. Definitely try it out!! I had the Green Curry Chicken and side Sichuan Green Beans. They ran out of chocolate moose so had the chocolate icecream for dessert. Overall it was a good meal. Lots of these types of shows (I'm thinking comedy shows), the food is an after thought. However, I enjoyed my meal. My favorite was the side, Sichuan Green Beans (4* easily). They were so flavorful, not too spicy. I love spicy so they could have been a touch more spicy for me. However, lots of crunch and flavor. I was "this close" to ordering a second round. The green curry was good but for my liking could have been a lot more spicy. The flavor peaked out but could have been more bold. Also, the sauce was lacking in quantity for me. However, the ingredients tasted fresh, they were kind enough to add green beans, and it was overall enjoyable (3*). Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, for sure. The icecream was good...normal chocolate and nothing special. I was a bit disappointed they ran out of the chocolate mousse. The Burlesque Alice in Winderland...the show was fantastic!!! For me, the band was superb. The show itself, was very risqué, hilarious, and beautiful. The crowd loved it. Definitely go see Alice but check out this theater for something soon!

Went to see This is Halloween and have seen other shows as well in the past, and again was not disappointed! The details that go into the staging is great, the cast members and dancers put on a great show and the energy is prevalent throughout the experience. The food items are delicious and I recommend the chicken skewer, long green beans and the chicken pad Thai. The cocktails are a little on the expensive side but delicious.

Summary: The Triple Door has talented performers, but the show we saw (Nightmare Before Christmas) took little to no artistic liberties with the original score and you're left with a performance that's just a little above what a community theatre would do for a much steeper price. They also pepper in advertisements throughout the performance. Amusing enough the first time, about around the 2nd or third time it feels more like begging and sadness. The interior is nice and it's a big beautiful venue inside and out. Maybe a touch dated, but there is charm and I echo the sentiment that there is likely not a bad seat in the house aside from some on the far sides which are have a partially obscured view. Despite sampling a large portion of their menu, the food was very forgettable and I cannot recommend it. If you're hungry, it'll do, but do not come here for a culinary experience if you're a foodie. The service is about a decade behind. You'll need to arrive an hour before showtime to reasonably assure you'll have your food by then. Otherwise you'll be seated and wait 30-45 minutes to place your order DURING THE PERFORMANCE. No iPads. No QR codes to order online, good old fashioned talking to your server during the performance, with ultra slow kitchen service to boot. If you're a big fan of any given show and want to support local theater talent, give it a go. Just consider getting dinner elsewhere before.

I've been to a handful of shows at the Triple Door over the years, and it's a great venue whether you come to see a band or a movie or a cabaret show. From front to back, every seat has a good vantage point of the stage, and the sound is clear and not overwhelming. Where the Triple Door could do a little better is with organization. A small group of us attended a 7:30 showing of Bohemia a few weeks ago, and our ticket confirmation stated that seating opened up 90 minutes before showtime, so we arrived at 6 to get good seats and an early start on dinner/drinks. It was a ghost town in there, and the host, surprised by our early arrival, informed us that they'd begin seating in about an hour but that we could post up in the bar until then. Fortunately their food menu is available in the bar pre-show, so we just enjoyed an early dinner there. Food was quite decent. Vegetarian dinner entree options are limited to pad thai, but we enjoyed the thai mushroom skewers, sichuan green beans, and dahl which made for a good meal. The dahl was delicious and spicy. Sadly, the bartender made the absolute worst gin martini of my life. I asked for it dirty, but it tasted like he made it with sweet vermouth. It was awful. I'll stick with signature cocktails or wine here in the future. Glad we had the foresight to eat in the bar because our drinks and dessert we ordered once seated for the show didn't appear until intermission. The theater holds a couple hundred people, so the kitchen is working hard to churn out food when that number of people are ordering all at once. The Bohemia-inspired absinthe cocktails were delicious, as were the gelato and chocolate cake. All in all it's a great venue with a variety of shows that I'll continue to come back to. A quick and convenient walk from light rail. Just plan to eat early whether here or at another restaurant. Otherwise, enjoy the show!

Tried a few things on my visit. Sea Bass - delecious! Cabbage Salad - best Asian slaw I've ever had Pad Thai - disappointing, just basic Cocktails are good but seem small. I got two martinis and they were both only a few sips. Service is great. Friendly in the bar and really hussling during the show.

Great experience seeing the nightmare before Christmas on Halloween. The food we ordered was better than what I expected. I'm thinking it's from wild ginger. The service was also excellent. My mom and I shared the sea bass which blew us both away! It was such a great preparation, with tons of fresh dill on top! Yum! The show was great and I can't wait to come back to this theater and see something else and enjoy so good food! Definitely a great date night!

I love love love the triple door! Dinner theater at its finest, the triple door is a smaller venue for various shows, from burlesque, to standup, to concerts. Typically they do two shows on show nights, where dinner and drink services are available during both showtimes. The dinner is made available by wild ginger which is next door. For the first show, doors open 60 minutes prior and for the second show, doors open 30 minutes prior. They have a great bar to lounge at even earlier if you like. Parking is available next to the venue in a parking deck. Service is always good and the shows are always fantastic.

The food was amazing! The perfect location for the opening for the Seattle Cabaret Festival. The waitstaff was excellent and brought our food in a timely manner. It was perfect for a date night or just enjoying a night of great music!

Go! It's a great time and one of downtown's best venues. All the seats are good to great. You never need to worry about sitting in a bad spot. The stage is clear and visible. The sound system is top quality. Sounds from Johnny A's guitar reverbed around the room. Prices are reasonable, a bit more than you might pay at some of the smaller venues but after many years of being gouged in Chicago, The Triple Door doesn't disappoint. Get on their mailing list for special notice and more. Food... Over the last ten years I've tried to like Wild Ginger (the restaurant that caters food in)... I'm an Asian food snob and have traveled extensively. Steer clear and see my reviews of the restaurant. I didn't put my last meal which I had at Tripple Door. Cold in spots. I sent it back twice. Otherwise, go and enjoy!

I came to the Triple Door for a concert and the experience was amazing. I sat towards the back and the view was great. The waitress was prompt for service and the venue had a good atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning for another show. Each dollar spent is a dollar well spent here.

It's hard to sum up my experience into one rating because some things were great and others were horrible. I went to the burlesque Nutcracker with a friend last year and was impressed with the overall experience. However, my recent experience at "This is Halloween" was disappointing. The show itself was amazing. The cast was fantastic as always and the show was beyond entertaining. I am a huge fan of the Can-Can productions that they have here and continue to come to see them. However, we sat at table 303 and could not see the entire right half of the stage. There were lots of stage props there and parts of the performance that we couldn't see and missed entirely. It was disappointing to pay so much for tickets to a show when our seats had such a limited view of the stage. You should be able to see just about the entire stage from wherever you are seated! The service was the worst it has ever been. I know that they were short staffed but it was a hot mess of an experience. We ordered 2 beers, a soda, and desserts. We never received any of our drinks despite them being easy orders while the table next to us had their wine and cocktails brought to them right away. We ordered the vanilla gelato which turned out to be (very obviously) your everyday plain vanilla ice cream. Gelato and ice cream are not the same and they should change this on the menu! They also ran out of regular spoons and they gave us giant metal spoons and expected us to eat our ice cream with them. We also ordered the chocolate torte. One waitress told us they just got a fresh one and were cutting it and would bring it out right away. 5 minutes later, another waitress came out and told us they ran out and wouldn't be bringing it to us. In total, we didn't get 4/6 things that we ordered when the show had ended. Overall, it's worth visiting to see your favorite artists or shows. But, I would advise against ordering food and drink at the show other than wine and get dinner/dessert/drinks elsewhere! Although they took the missing items off of our bill at the end, we never once received a real apology for never getting our drinks/dessert and they seemed to brush it off like it was normal.

HAD AN AMAZING TIME at this venue!!! I have always heard of the place on radio ads but never had the opportunity to check this place out... until now!! Love love love the venue! The theater definitely had an "old time" vibe and feel to it. It felt very intimate even though it was a sold out event. We started out at the bar, had ourselves a couple of drinks. We befriended some people and had some great conversations. Once inside, the inner child in me became alive! It was a dinner show, and we put on some snazzy clothes, and came prepared to be entertained. The show was hilarious, seductive, and had moments of some tugging at the heart strings. It was also our first time having absinthe. It was strong, but did not disappoint. The food was catered and top notch. Honestly, what more could you ask for? Accompanied by a beautiful woman, tasty beverages and a 5 course meal, and to be completely entertained.... made the experience at the Triple Door a very memorable one. Thank you for keeping this theater in operation and keeping the arts alive! Enjoy and Happy Entertaining!

The venue is great to see and listen to music however over the past couple of years the service has severely declined and we won't be ordering food in the future. Such a colossal disappointment.

This is a music venue first and foremost. Lower your expectations for ANY LEVEL of service once you are seated. Nope, lower. Keep going. Still way too high. Ok there you go. Bottom of the bottom. As in " you obviously love the performer so we don't have to do anything to take care of you or make you feel like we give a hoot about your experience. We absolve ourselves completely from having to provide any level of customer service. Thank you have a great show!" The horrid level of service at this establishment is mind blowing to me. It's obvious they really don't care about the customers/patrons. I can't speak to the food since I never ate there but after reading the other reviews, there is no way this place is going to get any extra money from me. Shameful. Truly. Unprofessional at best.

The venue itself was really cool for live music. The service, however, was the worst I've ever seen. and that was all layers of the establishment from the bar upstairs to the venue downstairs. Permeated horribly slow bad service. there would have to be a very good band for me to ever show up there again. And I will eat at home before I go.

Nice music venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Upstairs bar and free live music might be worth a visit for a fun date night in future. Same food as Triple Door. At Triple Door the waitress in our section wasn't very attentive. We saw that others were very good though. Food from Wild Ginger upstairs was good but tepid. Go for the music and the venue. Both were terrific. The annual Patsy Cline birthday tribute was fabulous and introduced us to some super talented local musicians.

This place has a great staff and fun shows. Good production values. We'll be back again.
