This is my first and last time I'm visiting the Triple Lindy because the service was appalling. At about 7.00pm Friday, 6/13/25, I ordered a burger and fries before 3 white customers and got an incomplete order with the fries arriving when the burger had become cold. The other customers got their complete orders before I did yet they arrived after me. Do better, Triple Lindy!

Google
Fun, casual, affordable bar/restaurant that serves notably strong, well blended cocktails, The emphasis is on the bar. Amazing margarita! It has a fairly limited but varied menu, Food service is not slow, but certainly leisurely. However, the food always arrives hot, fresh and is consistently good. Clean and safe this includes a tidy restroom. Overall, the place does not really have a noticeable, vibe atmosphere. Just a neighborhood bar in an eclectic neighborhood. Outdoor seating is great in summer. I find the place a little bit drafty when indoors on cold nights. Bartenders and servers are straightforward, professional, and friendly. Casual all age crowd. Mostly straight but gay friendly. You will see all walks of life. Wear what you want. No attitude.

I was craving chicken wings, ordered to go. I had a really bad experience, the chicken wings were so huge and so undercooked, bloody. 🤢 I was worried I was gonna get sick. I thought asking for refund, but then decided to put the honest review.

Google
We were a large party that stumbled in after Paymaster refused to let our big group in. The bartender served us all with grace and speed and we really appreciated the hospitality and great food. A great local place to come for a late night snack and just kick back in Portland. Thank you.

Google
This is a cozy, dog friendly, neighborhood bar with big corner facing windows. Booth, chair, and bar seating is available. The food here is solid😎 Nice draft selection, GREAT bartenders - in both character and skill. We love them💗

Google
Food was great! Came in for brunch and had their chicken and waffles. Some seriously good stuff!

Google
Every employee at the triple Lindy is friendly, welcoming and professional… It really feels like a “cheers“ type atmosphere… The prices are good, the food is terrific… and you will always leave feeling better than when you arrived. Great neighborhood bar. There are always options for vegans or vegetarians, and dogs are welcome. This is my favorite place to go in the neighborhood… I highly recommend checking out the triple Lindy

Google
The wings here are surprisingly good. Try them! I will say it is annoying when they're out of flats and you end up with 8 drumsticks. IDK how this happens but they've done it to me twice. Servers are great.

Yelp
One of my favorites for brunch- and late night drinks! Kind staff, yummy food, great environment.

Yelp
I attended a single's meetup event here on a Saturday night. This is a dive bar which I love about Portland. It got crowded quite crowded when the entire single's group was there plus other patrons. Overall there is a variety of drinks to include a full bar, cider, wine (if I remember the menu correctly) and beer. They have bar food which as the night grew long seemed more and more enticing. The person I was talking to the whole night said he had found parking nearby. I Uber here which made more sense for me.

Yelp
We stopped by the Triple Lindy for drinks because it was only a couple blocks north of our Airbnb house on NW Johnson St. The Triple Lindy is a bar on the corner of 17th and Lovejoy in Portland's Slabtown neighborhood. I liked this place because of its warm, cozy atmosphere and friendly service. This is a small, local, neighborhood joint that feels "basement-like" in that you walk down into the bar from street level, it has a low ceiling and concrete floor, and the space was dimly lit. We visited on a Friday around 4:45 to 5:45pm. It was expectedly quiet at that time. When we arrived, there were just a couple older ladies at the bar and another woman, with her dog, working on her laptop at one of the tables inside the dining room (this place is dog friendly). Our group of 10 took over the tables in the corner by the bar and a couple of us (me) sat at the bar. I wish I'd gotten our bartender's name so I could mention it here. He was great. I felt comfortable and enjoyed the humble, low-key vibe. It wasn't loud and everyone, staff and patrons alike, were nice. They had a TV playing sports, pinball machines, and outdoor sidewalk seating. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, 10am-2pm. I'd come back. The Triple Lindy originally opened in 2013.

Yelp
There is covered heated seating outside alongside the bar. Order at the bar before you grab a seat. The highlight of the menu is the Single Smash burger for $8, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't try it. The sesame seed bun really puts the burger over the top. We got our food pretty fast and there was a good amount of people. Recommend dining in ordering to go, if you are in a rush. my mouth is watering writing this review, I'll be back for more soon!

Yelp
Good burger and semi-diver type neighborhood bar. Currently have some outdoor seating as well which is nice in warm weather

Yelp
Typical neighborhood bar and was filled with locals when we got here around midnight .I have also seen a lot of people here during the day time and they double up as a brunch spot too with a lot of options. We however just snuck in for some late night drinks because well.... nothing else was either open or was too damn crowded. We were a big group so we hung out near the bar as none of the seats were open at the time. I stuck to straight up alcohol and my friends had beers and shots. The staff is chill and friendly . They also host a Trivia Night every Monday at 7:30pm hosted by the pros at Geeks Who Drink.

Yelp
Fantastic neighborhood bar with late night food and friendly staff. Refrigerator full of other beverages if you don't like something on draft or mixed. Don't forget there are TVs to watch your favorite...
google avatar

Natasha B.

Yelp
Nice dive bar. They were playing some Warped Tour-esque music which was so fun. The drinks were reasonable and everyone is so friendly, from the locals to the servers. Unfortunately, it gets HOT in there.

Yelp
I went to this spot for the first time this weekend for brunch. Place is awesome! Food was tasty and the drinks top notch. The service was friendly, attentive and above the usual. Atmosphere was perfect! This spot is in my top five. Ps the scramble was the best I've had in years. :)

Yelp
Went here on a date with someone I've been seeing, so not a first date. Casual place with cool vibes. We shared the Caesar salad and club sandwich. Bit we're pretty good and would get again. The Caesar was really garlicky (which I like) and well dressed. Totally would suggest coming here.

Yelp
Discovering The Triple Lindy was one of the nicest surprises of moving to the Pearl post-pandemic (an area which, like much of downtown Portland, has seen numerous closures of beloved shops, pubs, and restaurants -- most of which continue to sit dormant still). In this era of inflation where everything is obscenely expensive, Lindy has shockingly affordable food a-- which somehow also happens to be the best food we've come across in the area. With TILT (sadly) being another victim of the pandemic, Lindy is the last standing for McDonalds-but-actually-good pub grub: the burger ($6 for a single, $9 for a double -- whaaat) which is essentially a (good) Big Mac without an (unnecessary) extra bun, and the fries (best $5 you'll ever spend, which are the non-soggy-well-salted-but-also-with-pepper equivalent) have spoiled me for fries anywhere else in this city (the incredible sides of ranch, too, are the perfect dip). Likewise for the breakfast sandwiches. Last (for food), the Club: if you enjoy a Club sandwich, you owe it to yourself to try Lindy's; it is perfection. The pours are also the best I've come across downtown for well drinks, and the glasses (a small detail, it may seem) are supremely satisfying to hodl in one's hand. The staff is fantastic as well, and always extremely kind and gracious: may The Triple Lindy be the rare spot in the downtown Portland area that does not close.

Yelp
Ordered the burger and tots. The tots were really good. Very crispy, a large portion to share. Burger was okay.

Yelp
so it actually bothers me quite a bit to be writing this review, because this is my neighborhood Bar, and I absolutely love it. My regular bartender is fantastic, and he is kind, and always treats my partner, and I with respect. I went in recently on a rainy day to order a hot toddy, and was met with an extremely rude, and extremely disrespectful bartender. Claiming it was 70 degrees outs it was 62 But she then also cut me off and in a huff and puff to search around to see if she had "hot water". Given the opportunity to finish I would've let her know that it was OK if they did not have the nessisary ingredients. (hot water, bitters or common, lemon and honey) Katie went to the back where I could hear her talking to her coworker, laughing about "how stupid people are" Honestly, such a weird interaction, being a bartender for 10+ years myself. This was really offputting. I usually come here to enjoy a drink with my partner after work, maybe a delicious meal As well. I won't be back if Katie is working, and honestly have had a hard time coming back at all after having such a terrible experience.

Yelp
I'd really like to give this 3.5 stars. Better than OK, but... It's a longtime, neighborhood dive bar with a good amount of history. It's smaller in size, but has plenty of seating options, inside and out. A small food menu, but sufficient and we were happy to see a Gluten Free bun option. The steak sandwich is excellent. You do have to order at the bar, no table service. They don't get higher stars just because they appear to be understaffed. There is always a long wait to order, and depending upon the server, the speed behind the bar can be lacking. And, the last time were were in, because there was a wait, the woman behind the bar was less than friendly. Yeah, pressured to get the orders filled, but try to at least be somewhat pleasant. If you have time and patience, and you enjoy a good, neighborhood spot, with a variety of customers, including some cool dogs, definitely check it out. Just don't be in a hurry.

Yelp
A good neighborhood bar! Service is always friendly and we love coming here for their weekend brunch. Great prices and good food, what's not to love? Also I am a big fan of their hashbrowns
google avatar

Yelp
Good cheap drinks and a tasty menu. Friendly staff as well. A Slabtown gem. Try the club.

Michael H.

Yelp
I asked for a glass of water on a hot day the door was unlocked and one of the waiters a tall white dark haired fellow told me to "Get the hell out I have shit to do" Firstly if your business is closed then lock the door an put out a closed sig , secondly all I wanted was a glass of water really quick an even offered to stand outside.. Will NEVER be going there again or recommending it to anyone EVER. I was treated like a problem when in reality I'm a paying customer.. How RUDE!

Yelp
Great place with nice decor! It was my girlfriend's birthday, so I treated her to a mani-pedi at Polish Day Spa which was right down the street. We came here afterwards and this spot definitely hit the spot! They have a nice outdoor seating area, and a great place to people watch, grab a burger, and a brew. Will definitely be back! Nice neighborhood bar!

Sean M.

Yelp
The club sandwich is solid. Good customer service and nice location. Great neighborhood bar/pub. Can be a little noisy but it's a bar...they have board games too.
google avatar

Mitch H.

Yelp
Solid brunch spot. Stiff drinks, good food, and upbeat staff. Definitely worth your time if you are in the area. Give a shout to Jane behind the bar and Heath in the kitchen.
google avatar

Takeru M.

Yelp
My partner and I usually come here whenever we want our burger fix. Fair priced and phenomenal quality. I want to give a shout out to the lone worker tonight (Sunday 1/16); he was slinging drinks and cooking food orders on his own and was quite professional about it. Had to be tough but he pulled through for us during what looked like a busy hour. Furthermore, I'll def continue to come back.
google avatar

Yelp
This dive has no business serving food this amazing. The Italian grinder sandwich is my go to. Cheap beers, heavy pours, a neighborhood staple

Marissa B.

Yelp
my roommate and I have come here for a few years now. Good neighborhood bar and their burgers are consistently delicious!

Yelp
Love this dive bar in Portland! Board games in card games available. And love the music they play.
google avatar

Yelp
AMAZING!!! What a hidden gem! Stop by if you are able to because I had an amazing time here with my girlfriend! Get the Lindy burger and any one of their wide selection of beers! Super cool spot in NW Portland

Louis M.

Yelp
Great neighborhood bar. Friendly environment, great food, and awesome service. A diverse and welcoming crowd.
google avatar

Kim B.

Yelp
Very lowkey vibe but they are a go to now because of this. Their brunch is huuuge portions for fairly cheap ($14-$15).

Annie N.

Yelp
Coziest bar in Portland, fantastic vibes. Great staff. Best burger in Portland, you can tell it was made with love.

Ryan C.

Yelp
Love coming here. Always great service and a great vibe. Their new patio is a great place to chill.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent smash burger and friendly people. What more do you need? This is a really nice little bar.
google avatar

Gustavo F.

Yelp
New favorite bar. Been going there a few months and the whole staff is always amazing. Seth and Heath are always great at the bars getting my drinks to me quick and heavy. The food is so damn good. From the burger to the salads. Great seasoning and prepared to perfection. Scott is a wizard in the kitchen. They are also super dog friendly! Highly recommend it. Especially if you love a good burger.
google avatar

Ezequiel P.

Yelp
This place was great from the service to the food. I have not one bad thing to say about this place. The food was amazing. The pancakes were probably the best tasting pancakes I've had in a while. They have a homemade taste to it that brings me back to waking up to home cooked breakfasts by my mom! The special of the day was a kimchi pork egg sandwich on a toasted brioche. It is a must have when they offer it!! The servers were really nice and attentive!!
google avatar

Aly C.

Yelp
Some of the best bar food you can get!! Highly recommend! The drinks are great, the bartenders are cool, and the cook is superb.

Mauricio S.

Yelp
Not only was the food terrible, but the tall bartender in the white shirt was extremely rude. He blamed me for not knowing when my food was ready, and told me I should pay attention more.

Algore L.

Yelp
This place is generally solid, as a rathskellar goes. Decor has gotten better, food slightly worse, in last couple years, but one of the few late nite options I have found in the city.
google avatar

Aaron M.

Yelp
Recently had the cubano with wonderful spring mix salad with a delicious vinaigrette. All were very tasty and presented beautifully. Also, Seth the bartender is such a nice/friendly guy. Always enjoy my Lindy visits.
google avatar

Hye-jin J.

Yelp
I'd like to go there more often, but it's UNBELIEVABLY hard to get staff's attentions. I felt even like "are they trying hard to ignore me...?" Food is ok, price also not bad. Just really Hope that they can be serious about what they are doing. They talked so much with the customers at the bar BUT for rest of them, it's out of their aware zone. Place can be more clean, too
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
The triple Lindy should be named The Belly Flop ! Self serve coffee !!! I ordered toast - it came with one Piece of bread !!! Who does this ????? If I ever step foot in this cramped , Kookie place again , please kick me . Horrific
google avatar

Jeremy L.

Yelp
Much needed update to an outdated review. I have a group of friends who basically consider TL to be their neighborhood bar, so hanging out with them means spending some time here. As people who drop in a lot, they're treated GREAT. Their "usual" drinks are poured before they get a chance to order, different members of the staff drop by to say hi, and we even got to hear music we were having a conversation about one night. This is basically exactly what I imagine when thinking about what I'd want out of a "neighborhood bar". Kudos. For me, the beer selections are pretty decent, and some bonus beers can be found in the cooler in the back if the taps aren't exciting enough. The food I've had has been adequate bar food. Best of all, the pudding shots are amazing and I like them more than I should.
google avatar

Panther S.

Yelp
Worst place in Portland I've EVER been. Staff is ridiculous, so are the clients. I highly recommend never ever stopping here for ANYTHING.

Jay P.

Yelp
I used to love this place. I still like it but honestly after change of ownership it's just not the same. I live in the neighborhood and used to come all the time. So here's a few things. Firstly, happy hour isn't happening anymore, at least that I know of. The menu online says $4.50 well drinks...but lately I have been charged $7. It hella sucks because I loved happy hour. In addition, this was such an awesome vibey dive bar. Now it is a gentrified "dive." The same thing happened with Paymasters. Triple is/was? Charging $7 for a pfriem bottle and that was just crazy. Idk I loved this bar and before I move maybe I'll come in another time, but for now it's just another same old gentrified dive bar. Nothing special. And they took away the curry chicken strips sooo... But bar tenders are dope and always have been. I hope they pay over minimum wage because they go above and beyond (:

Michael L.

Yelp
Great bar service and great food. Had steak sliders, mozz sticks, and jalapeño pops to go, food is top tier and chef is on point! 10/10 will come back. Neighborhood staple.
google avatar

Kathleen H.

Yelp
What a find! We stumbled in to Triple Lindy while in search of breakfast. Amazing, friendly super-cool place. We'll be back!
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
really poor attitude from the bartender. cute-ish space but the unoriginality and excessive grumpiness from the male bartenders make this a forgettable and highly undesirable neighborhood bar.
google avatar

Sadiq Q.

Yelp
Came here for a nightcap on our first night in Portland. Loved the hospitality of the bartender. She was working alone so was a bit stretched thin but made sure we were taken care of. Good atmosphere and music and drinks. However most of the food on the menu wasn't being served since it was a bit late on a weekday so we just got fries and onion rings. Would come again though for the chill vibe and drinks.
google avatar

Vi T.

Yelp
Good beer. About 7 beers on draft. Friendly service at the bar. Dark, casual romantic, chill vibes. Better for small groups. Good location with other restaurants and bars nearby. Outside seating is right on the street. About 6 tables.
google avatar

Lulu A.

Yelp
First time here. I had set to go somewhere else but was way too hungry and saw the triple lady as I was driving by. Walking up I was a little nervous but still wanted to try the food. Decided to sit outside. Wait time wasn't bad at all. When I got my food the waitress handed me the hot sauce and salt and pepper shakers from the table next to me. Noticed that they weren't cleaned/sanitized and the person who was sitting at that table had used them. I asked my my eggs to be cooked over easy but still the eggs were not cooked enough for the whites to fully set.

Yelp
We just stumbled upon this place this morning for coffee and breakfast and I am so happy we did! It is a small step down to get into the main dining room, comfy booths with quirky decor and paintings. I love the self serve water and coffee station with fun mis matched mugs like your grandmas travel mug collection. We ordered the weekend scramble (changes regularly, ours was mushroom, zucchini, and parmesan) + potatoes and a side of sausage. It was so delicious! I was really surprised as this place is primarily a bar during the week. Everything was fresh and great quality. I am almost mad we shared as I wanted to eat all of it. The staff was pleasant, friendly, and attentive. There were many locals there and I can see why they frequent this place often. I will 100% be back and excited to try a happy hour as well!

Yelp
This place is great. They pour nice strong drinks and have great food. The brunch is delicious and they have a yummy tofu scramble and gluten free bread.
